Near as I recollect, two days ago.

Did he ask for the room, I mean in particular,

or did you just put him up there?

He'd seen the room from the street

and he thought they might get a breeze up there.

That's because he needed somebody small enough

to get through the transom into the bank

while he kept watch at the hotel window.

When I came along, he took a couple shots at me.

You didn't find Yorby in the hotel room when you got there.

Well, there was plenty of time for him to get out.

And you think he would've left his own son

dying there on the floor?

I think that's exactly what he did.

And right now, he's scared that I know what happened

and that's why he's pushing the town.

It's gonna be awfully hard to prove all this.

I'm only interested in one thing.

I oughta finish you off for what you did to your boy right now.
