Lightning is electricity
made up of tiny particles.

Half of them
have a positive charge,

the other half,
a negative charge.

Now, they pull towards
each other like magnets,

but the turbulent winds
of a storm

force these charges to separate
from within the cloud.

the negative charge

hurls towards the ground
in search of a positive charge.
