[The Land of Warriors]

[Adapted from Tang Jia San Shao's novel "Douluo Continent"]

[Episode 29]

It's vastly different.

Our sect's top-notch secret weapon can threaten the life of a Titled Douluo.

Once you craft it, you'll be pioneering the forging world.

Here's a part of the blueprint for the top-notch secret weapon, the Storm Pear Blossom Needles.

Take your time to look at it thoroughly.

[Storm Pear Blossom Needles]

Si Long, take them to rest.

We still want to explore the auction.

- I wonder if you... - It will be available tomorrow night.

Tai Tan, aren't you familiar with it? You take them there tomorrow.

- Master. - Please don't bother me.

Young Master, this Lou Gao has his own plans.

Showing him a portion of the blueprint neither discourages his enthusiasm nor risks leaking it.

It would only leave him wanting more.

It's fine.

After he investigates the blueprint, he'll change his perceptions of the Tang Sect.

By then, I doubt he won't think of running off.

Moreover, I believe, with his forging skills,

he'll be a great asset to the Tang Sect in the future.

Guild Leader Si Long, congratulations!

Don't joke around with me. Our guild leader must've gone amiss.

I'll give him some advice tonight.

He won't. Beyond possessing skills,

the most important thing for a God Blacksmith is great insight.

Once Lou Gao has investigated my blueprint,

he'll discover the potential of the Tang Sect.

Lou Gao has been focused solely on forging and nothing else.

For years, the affairs in the Blacksmiths Guild have been handled by you.

This time, it's perfect for you to help out.

[Purchase List]

[50 jin of tungsten steel, 10 tons of refined iron]

Deputy Leader Tai Tan, is this real? Ten tons of refined iron?

I've never seen anyone buy that much refined iron at once.

All right, we'll purchase it at full price.

But we hope you can gather all the required metals for us quickly.

No problem.

You traveled from afar, let me treat you to a meal.

I have a group of friends who have just checked in at Old Tie's Inn.

Why don't we go and meet them together?

- Sure. This way. - All right. Let's go.

Boss, where can I find those high-paying orders out of town that you just mentioned?

My brother is also a blacksmith and wants to earn some money.

- Fatty. - Brother San.

Grand Master Si Long, please come in.

Senior Si Long, this is Ma Hongjun, one of my friends.

Fatty, he's Senior Si Long.

Gather everyone downstairs. We'll get a private room for dinner.

Senior Si Long is treating us.

Can we get our usual spot?

Um... I'm sorry.

Grand Master Si Long, that room has already been occupied today.

However, the room is already reserved long-term by the Blacksmiths Guild

for hosting important guests.

I know, but...

But what?

It's all because the room has been reserved by me.

Myles, what do you mean?

Grand Master Si Long is a Grand Master Blacksmith.

Do you understand what being a Grand Master Blacksmith means?

It's still just a blacksmith.

Don't grate on my ears!

I'm famous for being reasonable.

As long as you convince Lou Gao

to merge the Blacksmiths Guild into Martial Soul Hall,

I'll make an exception and allow you to use one of the rooms.

Myles, don't forget.

This is Gengxin City, the Capital of Metal.

Only blacksmiths are the genuine masters here.

Yes.

However, even the lord of Gengxin City has to bow to me.

You... Get out of here!

It seems that Myles is here with bad intentions.

Sir, that's them who badmouthed Martial Soul Hall on the streets.

Senior Si Long, are these noble and dignified ladies with you?

Why? Because you are a blacksmith?

No way! I can't stand this anymore.

Today, you ladies come home with me.

Let me broaden your horizons.

I've tried so hard. How come I have no killing power at all?

I can't control my body anymore.

Stop embarrassing yourself here!

It's you again.

Are you Tai Tan, the Chief of the Tribe of Strength?

Yes.

If you plan to oppose the Blacksmiths Guild and the Tribe of Strength,

I, Tai Tan, will take you on!

Yes, it's me again. What about it?

You're not a blacksmith. Why are you so stubborn*? (Lit. iron-headed)

Aren't you afraid that Martial Soul Hall will ruin the Tribe of Strength?

This Myles is far too arrogant.

I wish I could throw him down with the Eight Stage Drop.

Don't rush! It's not time to deal with him yet.

Elder Token!

- Greetings, Elder! - Greetings, Elder!

We had no idea Elder was here.

Please forgive us. Please forgive us.

We'll discuss your punishment later.

- Scram! - Understood!

Wait!

Are you deaf? Elder said get out of here by rolling*! (Literal meaning)

Understood.

What are you waiting for?

Don't you know how to do it?

Shall I teach you?

Elder, they are newcomers.

They're just too inexperienced.

No worries. Let me be their example!

Get down!

Please guide us!

Let's go. Let's go.

Carry on.

What a guy who changes with the wind!

No worries. I'll make them pay in the future.

All right. It's just a farce!

Si Long, hurry and take us to eat.

Everyone is hungry now.

Wait a moment. You guys...

are from Martial Soul Hall?

Senior Si Long, let's eat first. This, I'll explain to you later.

Sir, do we still need to roll ourselves?

Hold on! When did our Martial Soul Hall have such a young elder?

- Is it possible? - I really don't know.

Sir, do you think that the guy is messing with us?

Could that token be fake?

Wait! Do you think I'm so dumb

that I can't tell the difference between a fake and a real token?

I dare not.

But if the token is real, and if Her Holiness did send the elder here to Gengxin City,

why didn't she inform you in advance?

Plus, he is mingling with the Tribe of Strength and the Blacksmith Guild.

It just doesn't make sense.

The token may be real, but the person might not be.

Let's return and draft a letter to Her Holiness.

We'll know whether he's real or fake once we ask.

[Old Tie's Inn]

So, you're the son of Clear Sky Douluo. I apologize for my disrespect.

Big Brother Si Long, there's no need for such formalities.

I only said that to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

Kid, don't worry. We have no ties to Martial Soul Hall.

If there's any connection to say, it's only hostility.

Brother San, why didn't you teach those bastards a lesson just now?

That Myles was was so tyrannical!

We should teach them an unforgettable lesson.

Fatty, your brain is not functioning again.

We haven't finished our task yet, how could we go against the locals?

That Myles would probably pinpoint the blame on the Blacksmith Guild.

By then, Si Long and the others would get into big trouble.

Xiao Ao, what's there to fear as Brother San has an elder token?

After all, I'm not a genuine elder of Martial Soul Hall.

That Myles will definitely try every way possible to figure out who I am.

So, for now, what we need to do is to get our plan done here quickly

and leave as soon as possible.

So, we're just letting Myles off like that?

How is that possible? Don't you know Brother San yet?

So, Brother San, do you already have a plan to handle that Myles?

Don't act rashly.

Big Brother Si Long, can you tell us about the connection between the Blacksmith Guild

and Martial Soul Hall?

They're incompatible just like water and fire.

Uncle Tai Tan knows this well.

Back then, Myles brought people to cause us trouble.

Although he didn't succeed, a grudge was formed.

After that, he repeatedly brought Martial Soul Hall people

to oppress the Blacksmith Guild,

making trouble for us everywhere.

Soon after, blacksmiths in the city began disappearing.

Everyone was terrified, no one dared leave their homes.

So, you suspect that Martial Soul Hall is behind the disappearance of blacksmiths?

I'm certain it's them.

After many blacksmiths disappeared,

someone spotted people from Martial Soul Hall

sneakily transporting weapons out of the city at night.

Other than the missing blacksmiths,

who else could be forging weapons for them?

- Did Old Lou not take action? - Of course, he did.

Master led us from the Blacksmith Guild

to confront Martial Soul Hall for the missing people.

However, the eyewitness was too scared to testify.

- Without evidence, we could not... - Why do you need evidence?

Just break in and find the people!

Uncle Tai Tan, you should know our situation better.

Although our master and the rest of us

are Soul Douluos and Soul Saints,

we've always focused on forging.

If it comes to fighting, we may not be their match.

We also don't dare spread this news lightly.

Otherwise, it would only make it harder to approach Myles and his people in the future.

No wonder we hardly see any strong local men since entering the city.

Martial Soul Hall is secretly producing weapons.

Bibi Dong must be plotting something else.

When I first arrived in Gengxin City, I sensed something was amiss.

That's why I wanted to learn more about the situation.

The disappearance of blacksmiths is something we can't ignore.

However, we can't alert the enemy either.

So, you're saying you want to help us find the missing blacksmiths?

We need to investigate further first.

For now, you just focus on helping us to locate the ores and metals we need.

Also, please arrange for us to attend tomorrow's auction.

Got it. Leave it to me.

[Old Tie's Inn]

Xiao Ao and Si Long are busy checking the purchase list.

I believe that the Blacksmith Guild can quickly gather everything we need.

Indeed.

Brother San, when do you plan to take action against Martial Soul Hall?

A dark and stormy night is just perfect for action.

I love taking action at night.

We'll take action after tomorrow night's auction.

Great! It's been a while since I've performed myself.

Elder Tai, you're the deputy leader of the Blacksmith Guild.

If you fight against Martial Soul Hall,

it might cause trouble to the Blacksmith Guild.

We need to take action discreetly.

Just me, Fatty, and Xiao Ao will be enough.

I'll stay back to take care of Xiao Wu.

Good.

Cousin, what about me? Is there any task for me?

Of course. It's something only you can do.

You will go and investigate Martial Soul Hall with Fatty tomorrow,

and figure out what their current situation is,

ensuring that our plan goes smoothly.

Master, as per your instructions,

I've gathered part of Martial Soul Hall's forces into a troop

and am awaiting your next orders.

Great! You're fully in charge of this operation.

Please work carefully with her. I trust that you won't disappoint me.

I will do my utmost.

In these few days, I'll go into a crucial stage of my cultivation.

Unless it's urgent, don't disturb me.

Understood.

The Holy Lady sent a message. The Soul Masters have gathered.

Your Highness, please get ready for the next step.

How much longer does he have?

Your Highness, the poison has penetrated His Majesty's bones.

He doesn't have long.

I can't waste more time on Xue Beng.

- Has the news been released? - Yes.

Great!

If you keep pushing yourself like this, your back injury won't heal.

It's just a small injury. It's nothing compared to Imperial Father's life.

I wonder if Tang San has finished developing the antidote.

I've checked the situation. The little freak has left the city.

Before leaving, he made arrangements for reliable people to continue developing the antidote.

I'm just afraid Imperial Father can't wait until it's ready.

Send someone to find more ways, and see if there's any other news.

Here, take a look. High-quality ores!

Abundant supply! Excellent quality at a fair price!

No deceit, guaranteed for everyone!

This is the largest ore trading market in Gengxin City.

The ores here haven't been appraised by the Blacksmith Guild,

so the prices are cheaper, but it's also easier to get scammed.

In my opinion, it's better to go to the Blacksmith Guild's trading hall

to buy ores that have been appraised. That's more reliable.

Since Xiao Ao is there sorting the ore purchases,

both of you can pick it together.

Thank you, Big Brother Si Long, for considering us.

However, the appraised ores are far too expensive.

As the Tang Sect's treasurer, I must save wherever I can for Brother San.

However, please allow me to be frank,

even experts can sometimes misjudge the ores here.

Although I can help you inspect them,

I can't guarantee you'll be fully satisfied.

Take a look!

Let's go over there and check it out.

I want this one. Boss, 1,000 gold soul coins.

Cut it for me. Hold on.

You need to cut from this spot for me.

Sure.

May your fortune soar with this one slice.

Good! Soar!

Soar! Soar!

Soar! Soar! Soar!

One cut to heaven, one to hell!

You will have it next time!

- Boss, your stone... - What bad luck!

It's a dud!

That's how it is here.

If it's a correct one, its value increases ten-fold.

If it's a miss, it's not worth a single copper coin.

Boss, this stone is useless now. Can I take it away?

Who says it's useless? If the buyer doesn't want it, the stone returns to me.

If you want it, you've got to pay.

Miss Ning, this stone is nothing but a dud.

Oh, so this young lady is a friend of Sir Si Long.

Sir Si Long, I run a small business.

If this young lady truly likes it, she can have it with just one gold soul coin.

- One gold soul coin? - Deal!

Thank you, young lady.

Miss Ning, if you need this kind of discarded raw stone, I can provide it to you for free.

That vendor just wanted to rip you off.

Big Brother Si Long, don't worry. I might have just snagged a great deal.

Why are you smiling?

Look!

It was just a discarded material. How could you possibly see what's inside?

A Soul Master with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda Martial Soul

have an extremely strong appraisal ability.

You have such an ability? You're practically a born ore appraiser!

No wonder Sect Leader Tang sent you here to purchase ores.

I should thank the previous buyer.

Let's go. Today, I'm going to stock up on the clan's treasury!

All of this armor was shipped out from Gengxin City.

They're heading towards Heaven Dou City.

It seems Bibi Dong is preparing to take action against Heaven Dou.

We need to go back immediately.

Hurry up!

Hurry up! Stay in line!

Go!

Go!

Hurry up!

The weapons and armor here are exactly the same as those in Martial Soul Hall of Star Luo City.

It seems that Myles has made a lot of money.

- Hurry up! - Be quicker!

Hurry up!

Look!

Help me! Uncle, please save me!

Who's there?

On alert!

Something's wrong! Someone's in the back courtyard! Let's go!

Take him away! I'll go and distract them.

- Xiang Xiang. - Trust me.

Be careful.

Illusion.

- Split up and chase them! - Go!

Sir!

Sir! Those identical women suddenly disappeared right before our eyes.

Oh no! That's a soul skill!

They discovered the bodies. Should we report to the lord?

Quickly move the bodies away and send more people to guard the back courtyard.

If anyone leaks today's events, I'll skin them alive!

All right! Follow me!

[Old Tie's Inn]

Thank you for saving me.

It's nothing. Your wounds have been medicated, and you'll recover quickly.

How did you end up at Martial Soul Hall? Where are your parents?

My dad is a blacksmith.

He was taken by them to work a year ago.

They saw I could do chores too,

so they took me along to cook for the blacksmith uncles.

People there are always dying.

My dad was afraid I wouldn't survive either, so...

Xiao Tie, you must live and escape from here.

Run as far as you can, understand?

Father, I don't want to leave you. I don't want to.

No, you have to go. Only by leaving can you survive.

- But I don't... - Hurry up! There's no time!

- Father! - What are you doing?

- Father! - Move aside! - No!

- Father! Let me out! - Run!

Help!

Hang these two here tonight as a warning,

and throw them into the corpse pile tomorrow.

Kid, you've been in Martial Soul Hall for over a year.

Did you hear anything about their plans?

For example, what all that armor is for?

My dad and the blacksmith uncles said Her Holiness is preparing for something big.

A few months ago, all the weapons and armor in the warehouse were shipped away.

Not long after, the Soul Master who oversees us

was discussing about the clans being annihilated.

Then, they received new orders from Her Holiness.

My dad and the others started working non-stop again.

Oh, right! The night before I escaped,

my dad said another batch of armor was being shipped out.

Her Holiness must be planning something evil again, am I right?

Kid, you're smart.

Your guess is probably correct.

We need to get the plan in Gengxin City done as soon as possible.

We need to discuss this with Master and Uncle Ning.

I think something serious is about to happen.

Fatty and Xiang Xiang saved the little kid.

I think they've alerted the enemy.

We must be quick and decisive for tonight's auction.

We can't give them a chance to retaliate.

I won't let them get away with this.

This is the map I sketched of the Martial Soul Hall in Gengxin City.

Here's the armory.

This is the back courtyard, and further back is the forging room.

We broke into the back courtyard today.

They will definitely strengthen their security here.

When you go to rescue the blacksmiths, you must be very careful.

No wonder you're from the Tribe of Agility, you investigated the place in detail.

It's just the specialty of our tribe. It's nothing.

You did great.

With this information, we can be quick and decisive tonight.

Black iron ore for sale, cheap! Buy more, get a discount!

Take a look! Black iron ore for sale, cheap!

Buy more, get a discount!

Good things!

Boss, if I buy several pieces, can I get a discount?

Of course! How many do you want, young lady?

Five pieces. I want... this.

This one, and also these few.

All right. The total is five gold soul coins.

- Make way! - Step aside!

- Give me the protection fee. - Sir, I just paid yesterday.

Yesterday was yesterday. Today is today.

How outrageous! This is Star Luo's ore trading market.

What gives Martial Soul Hall the authority to charge fees?

What a coincidence!

Are you all here for a stroll?

The talented young elder didn't come with you?

The elder's friends are my friends.

But I don't think I've met this elder before.

- Do you want to explain? - There's nothing to explain.

However, you should explain what qualifies Martial Soul Hall

to be so overbearing and to extort money here.

Misunderstanding! Hmm, Grand Master Si Long, it's all your fault.

You came with this young lady. Why didn't you introduce her properly?

Half of this street's management rights belong to Martial Soul Hall.

If it weren't for the city lord personally asking me to help manage it,

who'd want this thankless job?

Am I right?

You tell me, am I right?

Yes. Sir, you managed this place really well.

- The security here has improved greatly. - What else?

We... We pay willingly.

You see?

Don't worry. If you don't have enough money with you,

you can use these worthless stones instead.

This decrepit thing should be useful.

I'm just so softhearted and easy to negotiate with.

- Move it! - Hold on!

I already wanted these iron ores.

Are you picking a fight with me?

Business operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

As the manager here, you should uphold the rules.

I am the rule.

You...

Even though you're the manager here, you don't understand ores at all.

Taking this back would just waste resources.

I... don't know about ores?

Are you challenging me?

It's just the truth. You don't believe?

I bet that this is the most valuable piece in this entire pile of ore.

Because it contains iron essence.

Can you pick out something like this?

Although she is young, she is quite bold.

Today, I'll show you what I'm capable of.

- Which one is the most expensive? - This one, sir.

Open the two of them at once!

Open them!

- It's real! - It's real!

- How is that possible? - Yeah, how is this possible?

The one you opened has nothing in it!

That's just my mistake. You just have good luck today.

However, there's a win or lose in gambling.

How about this? We go for another round.

However, we'll have a little extra at stake. Dare to play?

Why not? How do you want it to be carried out?

We each pick one ore from this street,

the one we think is most valuable.

Then, open it up here and see whose is worth more.

The vendors on this street are all experts.

They can serve as witnesses.

If you win, you can take any ore on this street.

If I win, I will take you away with me and do what I want.

- Fine! - You agree?

Let's do it! However, add one more condition.

If I win, you can't collect the protection fees here anymore.

You've already agreed to my terms so I'll agree with yours.

I'll let you pick first.

Go ahead and bring me the King of Ore from this street.

Myles, you're cheating.

Why am I cheating? The conditions are clear.

I pick what I think is the most valuable ore. What's unfair about that?

Big Brother Si Long, that's fine.

He's just using the rules to his advantage.

The King of Ore here is the Five Colors Shining Stones.

I guarantee you won't find anything rarer in this market anymore.

Sir.

Here you go. Take a look.

Truly worthy of the title of "King of Ore."

Do you like this? Take it.

We're done here. Let's go home.

Don't rush, sir. It's my turn now.

You want a sense of ritual? I understand.

Go ahead, pick.

I pick...

This one!

Miss Ning, this isn't the time for jokes!

That's just an ordinary piece of ore.

Let me take you to another place and pick another one.

No, I choose this one!

Brother Long Long, you have no sense at all!

She's doing this on purpose, with the intention to follow me back. Stop meddling!

Boss, please chip off a small piece for me.

Let's make sure he loses fair and square.

Yes. Let's follow the procedure.

Chip it off.

Young lady, are you sure you want it chipped from here?

- This is Cold Iron Essence. - What iron essence?

You just simply name it now.

Cold Iron Essence! It is Cold Iron Essence!

This piece of Cold Iron Essence was hidden inside an ordinary ore,

making it hard to detect.

Sir, do you believe me now?

Even if it is an iron essence,

how could a black rock be worth more than Five Colors Shining Stones?

Sir, of the same weight,

the Cold Iron Essence is ten times more valuable than Five Colors Shining Stones.

This is incredibly rare.

As far as I know, there're less than five kilograms of it in Gengxin City.

This piece weighs several dozen kilograms, making it worth a fortune.

Well, thank you for being so humble. I win.

It's mine. I'll take it now.

Don't be rushed. How could you have such good luck?

I now suspect you and the vendor are working together

to scam the customers and disrupt the market.

So, I'll take this piece back with me as evidence for further investigation.

And you, too. You're a liar! You have to come with me!

- Let's go! - Who dares?

We're here on orders from Elder to collect ores here.

What elder? The elder from Martial Soul Hall?

Martial Soul Hall has plenty of resources.

Why would they need something inferior like this?

It seems that you're unaware of Martial Soul Hall's rules.

What our elder needs every time,

he only needs to send word to the branch halls and we'll collect it before sending it there.

There's no need to pick piece by piece like you're doing here.

Your branch halls have been skimming profits off the ore trade,

and substituting the good ones with inferior products, do you think the elders won't notice?

They've turned a blind eye because of the Supreme Pontiff's leniency.

But if you insist on doing this, I might just expose all these dirty tricks.

Fine. You want the ore, right?

Take them with you.

Wait!

One more thing.

Should I demonstrate how to leave by rolling again?

From now on, you're not allowed to bully the vendors here.

All right, small matter.

And also, no more protection fees!

- That's great! - Is this real?

Just admit defeat when you have lost the bet.

They have long been the vendors here.

They can all testify to what happened.

I can testify!

Me too!

- Me too! - I can also testify!

We all can testify!

Me too!

- I can testify! - I can testify!

Me too!

We all can testify!

Let's go.

Thank you, Young Lady.

Young Lady, these years, Myles has been oppressing us here in the ore market.

- Yeah! - He's been robbing us blind!

Life has been so hard for us.

You defeated him and canceled the protection fees.

How can we ever repay you?

Everyone, no need to repay me.

We just couldn't stand injustice.

Especially against bullies like Myles!

- Great! - Well said!

Good!

Young Lady, look at my stall here.

You can take any stone for free. I'll give them to you.

Yes, Young Lady. Thank you for helping us vent our frustration.

Exactly.

It's my fault. I shouldn't have used carrots to teach you.

Why am I always obsessed with eating?

It seems we can't use food.

Should we change to something else?

Someone's coming!

Hey, you! I want all the blueprints!

No problem. Didn't I already tell you?

Once you return to the Tang Sect, you will see the rest of the blueprints.

At that point, we'll need your expertise.

Kid, stop lying to me.

I've carefully examined the blueprints you gave me.

This so-called magical weapon requires rare materials,

and the chances of crafting it are slim.

What's the use of having a good blueprint?

You have to make it real by inventing it.

Otherwise, it's just a waste of paper.

Yeah. You're right, Elder.

The materials for the Storm Pear Blossom Needles are indeed extremely demanding.

But once crafted, it'll be an unprecedented divine weapon.

The Tang Sect will spare no effort to help you create it,

so you can become a legendary craftsman like no other.

You think I'm a child?

I'm too old to fall for your empty promises.

Brother San, we're back.

Master.

Miss Ning won a bet with Myles over ore appraisal,

and forced him to cancel the protection fees for the market vendors.

The vendors are absolutely thrilled.

It seems that Myles suffered a real defeat today.

Rongrong, did you find any rare ores?

I just heard Elder Lou say materials are scarce.

I wonder if these materials will help.

Cold Iron Essence!

It is Cold Iron Essence!

It's such a large piece!

How impressive!

The appraisal skills of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan are truly exceptional.

Sect Leader, I plan to use this Cold Iron Essence to craft the Storm Pear Blossom Needles.

What do you think?

These materials are sufficient.

This Cold Iron Essence is not usable.

Its hardness is fine, but its toughness is too poor.

If we use it for the mechanisms,

it would be ruined under excessive force.

What a shame!

Why can't we craft the Storm Pear Blossom Needles using this Cold Iron Essence?

How will I be able to craft the Storm Pear Blossom Needles soon?

If I can only imagine it but never craft it, I'd rather die.

- Master, please don't be like that! - Let me die!

Elder, please calm down.

There's no need to be anxious.

You can make this!

This is an exceptional secret weapon even more powerful than the Storm Pear Blossom Needles.

Also, the Cold Iron Essence happens to be one of its three core materials.

Are you insane?

This is such a top-secret blueprint!

How could you just give it to me like this?

Since you've agreed to join the Tang Sect

and I'm the sect leader, I can't be stingy with this.

You have such a deep obsession with crafting weapons.

I shouldn't just leave you and watch you lose yourself to despair.

I'm insane. And you're a fool.

We're perfect to be in the same sect!

Sect Leader, don't worry.

I, Lou Gao, swear to craft this ultimate weapon for you.

Sorry to interrupt.

Actually, I found another material.

I've never seen it before, but I believe

it's the most valuable of all these materials.

What kind of metal is this?

It's incredibly tough.

I've been forging my whole life,

but I've never encountered something this strong.

Even my unbreakable Diamond Chisel shattered instantly against it.

Amazing... Truly amazing.

But alas, my Diamond Chisel is ruined.

I'll need to find another tool.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the core of the Deep Sea Silver.

It's exactly what's needed to craft the Storm Pear Blossom Needles.

The core of the Deep Sea Silver!

I never thought I'd see such a rare material in my lifetime.

If I can craft the Storm Pear Blossom Needles,

I'll have no regrets in life.

You will succeed.

As for the materials you need,

the Tang Sect will ensure everything is provided.

With that promise, I'll join the Tang Sect.

For making these divine secret weapons, I won't accept any reward.

However,

I have one small request.

Please go ahead.

On these legendary crafts, aside from the Tang Sect's name,

I want my name, Lou Gao, engraved as well.

No problem.

In the future, any secret weapon with your name on it

will be the Tang Sect's masterpiece.

Deal!

For the Storm Pear Blossom Needles, I'll start crafting right away.

All these...

Sect Leader, it seems we're still lacking some materials.

Elder, you're worthy of being the God Blacksmith.

You can even determine the materials needed just by looking at the blueprints.

But besides the materials, the blueprints also stated many intricate aspects.

You could discuss and study them with Elder Tai Tan.

Today, Rongrong and I will head to the auction place.

I'm confident we'll acquire some materials there.

All right.

I need to remind you.

Although the auction is held by the Blacksmith Guild,

the prices are fair to everyone,

so it all depends on how full your pockets are.

Thank you for the reminder, Elder.

By the way, I also have a personal favor to request.

May I borrow your forging table?
