These are the lowest numbers

I've ever seen booked
into a vaccination clinic.

It's so often the case
with voluntary procedures.

Women remain reluctant to
sign up for cervical cytology,

and mothers are slow to arrange
the measles vaccine.

This is worse than slow.

They've almost stopped booking
altogether.

It's the case in almost every practice,

even though some GPs have accepted
the financial incentive

from the Board of Health.

I am not going down that route.

If you ask me,

it's not the GPs who need
the incentive, it's the parents.

In the meanwhile, we shall
