My trip to Rock Point

wasn't exactly on
official business.

It was an answer to the
summons of a very old friend,

Josh Wilkins, the
town's Wells Fargo agent.

His letter had
been a little vague,

but it made clear that he was
very worried about something,

and that it concerned a woman.

Oh, good afternoon.

Yes, I'm looking
for Josh Wilkins.

Jim Hardie! Sure
glad to see you.

How are you, Josh?
Good to see you. Fine.

Uh, this is Ann Rawlins.

Ann, this is Jim Hardie,
one of my best friends.

Jim's a special
investigator for Wells Fargo.

I'm glad to know

especially if his wife

here to change horses

and then he left.

when I got up just now.

to see our wagon leaving there.

to try to confuse anybody
who might try a holdup.

on the seat beside him

for all the good it did.

Or maybe whoever wants the gold

decided it'd be easier
to take out of the safe.

But the real pickup isn't due

Maybe it was Ann.
