The most extensive bruising
Is associated with the kicking.

At the bruising on the wrists,

Where it's red, you can see
A pattern of ligature.

He was tied up?

I think so. That may explain
The wrist fracture.

So the timeline sounds like
He was kicked, he was tied up,

And then he's beaten
With a weapon.

Whether two assailants
Were both active

In the beating
With the weapon,
Can't be concluded

From what we've seen so far,
But take a look at the head.

There's an impression
Of what appears to be
A boot heel.

You can almost see
The manufacturer's logo.

The impression's fairly deep.
Obviously, it was
A powerful blow.

Notice there's no bruising
Around the heel imprint.

That would imply it occurred
Closer to the time of death.

We think
This was the fatal blow,

But we'll know more
After we open him.
