The trickiest part
is keeping them
at the exact same pace.

All these cabinets
have been mixed up.

We've got
one floor plan,

but two
very different interiors.

There's always a reason
why they need their home

The second baby is on the way.

The hurricane season
is around the corner.

And now, we're expanding
to renovations, too.

We're gonna flip-flop
everything in this house.

We don't know
what's behind the walls.

Whether it's a new
build or a renovation,

each project has
its own set of challenges.

This is the exterior
of the townhome.

- You raise that a foot, it's a lot of work.

on our client's faces

makes it all worth it.

We're trying to reveal them

So, Tomy and Lena,
this is the part

that I love the most

because this is when
you can really put some

of your personality
into the house.

a design meeting
with Lisa and Louis.

So today, I'm gonna be
doing a design meeting

with Tomy and Lena.

And even though Lisa
and Lena are sisters

and they are technically
building the same house,

they wanna make sure
they have some individuality,

that these homes are
different on the inside.

So the samples
I brought today

are not necessarily
the samples

that I showed Louis and Lisa
in their design meeting.

We're doing this virtually.

So, sometimes
showing these samples

over a computer screen,

I'm hoping that the colors

and the details
translate clearly,

so you feel good
about your decisions.

they want more of, like,

a coastal, modern,
something fresh.

And I think a part of that
is them relocating

from New York to Florida.

So, they don't wanna duplicate

what they already have

of different tones
for cabinetry.

a darker wood tone.

This is the blue tone.

the white cabinets,
but this is a soft white.

And then, last but not least,
a little bit of green,

'cause that's kind of
been trending lately.

They are forecasting
over 100-mile-per-hour winds.

I mean, some of these trees
are so old.

I'm just worried
with these winds
we're gonna be getting,

they're gonna snap off

And this 9-foot
by 9-foot window
is like a bull's eye,

side of the house.

are the most vulnerable

'cause they're the closest
to the trees.

If one of these trees
penetrates the window,

we've got major problems

one of the biggest kitchens
we've ever done.

It's a whole
different category,

which means that we had to do
some resourcing

and actually get these
from out of state,

which means
they're not replaceable.

I can't wait
to get furniture in here.
