So what do we know?

approximately 12 a.m.
to 1 a.m. on the fifth.

Single gunshot wound.

Close range.

They recovered a nine
millimeter hollow point round

from the chest cavity.

- Now what's interesting
is that she bled out

for several hours,

but rigor mortis had already set in

at the warehouse where we found her.

That's why there was very
little blood on the ground.

- So we got another crime scene somewhere.

She wasn't shot where we found her.

- Correct.

- Maybe that explains the missing jacket

her family says she was wearing

when she went to work that night.

- You got anything else?

- No bruising, no scratch marks, nothing.

Postmortem toxicology results are normal.

No signs of sexual assault.

And um, there was evidence intact,

that she had never been,
well, with with anyone.

- What about fibers, anything
that would point to a suspect?

- Hm, no, not here.

They are still processing her clothing.

- This is terrible man.

- No, I tried her on her

that as a possibility right now.

of questions and concerns.

(Anthony laughs)

(Gary sighs)

That's the only explanation
I can come up with though.

other than that I honestly don't care.

(boot thuds against flesh)

(Hodge screams)

(Hodge groans)

What about Detective Tanner?

- What you're not satisfied
how we dealt with her?

- I'm still nervous, okay?

(Hodge grunting)

- Looks like Hodge is
having a change of heart.

So I think our problems are gonna take,

take care of themselves real soon.

- Yeah, I've heard that before.

- Vince.

- Need you to make sure my boys

get that murder weapon, okay?

- They'll have it tomorrow.

- Good man.

(Hodge gasping)

(radio chatter)

- It's right over here.

I don't see a trail or anything.

It's just all kind of pooled right here.

It's pretty dry too, but
the clerk who found it

said she didn't see it the
last time she came out here.

- CID on the way to
preserve it, confirm it's human?

- Yeah, they on the way.

I got photos of the jacket too so,

we can take it back to the
family, see if they can ID it.

I mean it's not a smoking gun
or anything, but you know.

- Hey Millwood.

- Yeah.

- That yours?

(ominous music)

- Check the serial.

(sirens blaring)

- This is a manhunt.

The suspect should be
considered armed and dangerous.

His name is Anthony Jackson.

And based on an abundance of evidence,

he's been charged with the
murder of his girlfriend.

Mr. Jackson is a convicted felon,

with a history of violent crime.

Now, based on some tips,
we have reason to believe

that he's most likely still in East Bank.

That puts our community in danger,

our families and our friends.

So it's our job tonight
to bring this man in.

Let's move out.

(intense music)

(knocking)

- Come in.

(sighing)

- I know you're mad at
me about these rules,

and that's, that's fine.

But,

sometimes I have to make
decisions that I believe

are in your best interest.

And these new friends, going out at night.

I just don't think either of
us are ready for that yet.
