[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

[Episode 1]

Ten years ago,

the fastest sword in the wide world was Li Xiangyi's sword.

He defeated the Demon of the Blood Realm at 15

and became the best martial artist in the world.

He established Sigu Sect at 17.

At the age of 20, he became the head of the martial arts world,

ended the chaotic fights,

and became a legend.

Some take him as the hope of the martial arts world in the Central Plains.

But more people think about defeating him,

including Di Feisheng, the head of the Jinyuan Alliance of the Cult of Devil.

He even killed Shan Gudao, Li Xiangyi's senior

and caused Li to fight him.

It's so terrible to go to sea

in such a weather.

Don't talk.

Don't let the head hear you.

Is someone there?

It's Li Xiangyi.

[Li Xiangyi, Master of the Sigu Sect]

[Di Feisheng, Master of the Jinyuan Alliance]

You're finally here. [Di Feisheng, Master of the Jinyuan Alliance]

[Di Feisheng, Master of the Jinyuan Alliance]

As you wish.

Today

you and the Jinyuan Alliance will die.

Where is my senior's dead body?

You want to know?

Let's talk after you defeat me.

Your biggest weakness is that

you like being a hero.

A swordsman

shouldn't have weaknesses.

How does it feel to bring them here to die?

I won.

Where is Shan Gudao's dead body?

Where is Shan Gudao's dead body?

[Ten years later]

Come.

That day,

the fight

dimmed the day.

It's said that Li Xiangyi

fell in the trap set by the Jinyuan Alliance.

He was poisoned.

But soon after, the Jinyuan Alliance

was eliminated by the Sigu Sect.

But the Sigu Sect

was split apart as well.

Only Baichuan Academy,

the Hall of Punishments, remained.

Isn't Li Xiangyi the best in the world?

How could he die?

Right. Li Xiangyi must be alive.

His sword is so fast.

He must be able to kill Di Feisheng with one swish.

No.

It must be that the devil king

killed him with quick cuts.

Congratulations.

[Li Lianhua, a traveling doctor] Congratulations.

[Li Lianhua, a traveling doctor]

You're pregnant. [Li Lianhua, a traveling doctor]

You're pregnant.

Are you crazy?

Can I get pregnant?

I'm here to see my waist.

Waist.

Waist.

Although you hurt your waist,

Madam Wang is heartbroken.

I came to check my waist.

What does it have to do with Widow Wang?

Don't move. I'm also curious.

Why did Madam Wang break your waist?

What are you talking about?

You have sores on your face

and a thick tongue.

It must be caused by the inner heat.

But your business is booming.

Your wife is smiling.

Obviously, she's not the problem.

Give me this piece.

Okay.

Take it.

You said your waist was sprained

from bringing pigs from the next village?

But there are clearly

octagonal bruises

left by the laundry hammer on it.

As a butcher,

you're clean from collar to shoes.

There is even the smell of soap.

What a coincidence.

Madam Wang lives by doing laundry.

Enough.

Widow Wang is doing business.

Can't I go to her for business?

Of course.

It's only ten miles bringing pigs

from the next village.

It's a short journey.

Is it necessary to stop, take a shower,

and even have a meal?

You ate the Eight Treasures Soup for Pregnancy, right?

There's a Songzi Avalokitesvara under the table.

You dare not worship her openly.

You want a child,

but you don't want to be responsible.

No wonder you were kicked out by her.

Done.

Five taels of silver.

Apply it once a day.

Are you robbing me?

How could these plasters

cost five taels of silver?

You don't want it?

Fine.

It's okay if you don't want it.

I'll ask your wife for it.

No, I want it.

I want it.

Here you are.

Here.

Thank you.

See you.

This rib is nice.

It has got both fatty and lean parts.

I can cook a good dinner tonight.

You have consumption.

You coughed so much at night.

The whole street could hear you.

Are you taking the money you saved

into the coffin

or to reincarnate?

I can take care of the foxy.

Am I right, foxy?

Are you Li Lianhua, the miracle-working doctor?

Who?

[Butler of Hall of Wind and Flame]

Li Lianhua, the miracle-working doctor. [Butler of Hall of Wind and Flame]

Li Lianhua, the miracle-working doctor.

No.

Doctor Li, you're back.

Last March,

did you save Shi Wenjue,

the third son of the Shi family,

who died at Armour Sect in Yizhou?

I

have a bad memory.

Maybe

it's not me.

I want you to treat a person.

A dead person.

Brother.

If you turn left at the end of this street and go eight miles, there's a morgue.

The price is fair.

They run an honest business.

I think you should burn him down.

It'll be faster for him to reincarnate.

By the way,

I'm sorry.

I have to do bonesetting for Ironsmith Wang.

See you.

[Medical Center of Lotus House]

The martial arts test of Baichuan Academy begins.

[Baichuan Academy] The martial arts test of Baichuan Academy begins.

[Baichuan Academy]

[Li'er, a maid of Tianji Manor] [Wangfu, a servant of Tianji Manor]

The martial arts test of Baichuan Academy. [Li'er, a maid of Tianji Manor] [Wangfu, a servant of Tianji Manor]

Young Master, you're great! [Li'er, a maid of Tianji Manor] [Wangfu, a servant of Tianji Manor]

Young Master, you're great!

It's over.

[Yuan Jiankang]

[Precepts of Baichuan Academy]

Congratulations to the five of you.

You have passed the three tests of

argument, trace investigation and martial arts.

Now you're the new detectives recruited by Baichuan Academy this year.

Among you,

the first-class student of this year's tests

[Ji Hanfo, Master of Baichuan Academy] the first-class student of this year's tests

[Ji Hanfo, Master of Baichuan Academy]

is Yuan Jiankang. [Ji Hanfo, Master of Baichuan Academy]

is Yuan Jiankang.

Mr. Yuan.

Thank you.

Thank you.

[Bai Jiangchun, Master of Baichuan Academy]

Yuan Jiankang. [Bai Jiangchun, Master of Baichuan Academy]

[Bai Jiangchun, Master of Baichuan Academy]

Why does this name sound so familiar? [Bai Jiangchun, Master of Baichuan Academy]

Why does this name sound so familiar?

Present the police badges.

Wait.

[Yun Biqiu, Master of Baichuan Academy]

Take off your mask. [Yun Biqiu, Master of Baichuan Academy]

[Yun Biqiu, Master of Baichuan Academy]

Aren't you giving out the police badge first?

You want to be a detective,

[Shishui, Master of Baichuan Academy] You want to be a detective,

[Shishui, Master of Baichuan Academy]

why don't you dare to show your face? [Shishui, Master of Baichuan Academy]

why don't you dare to show your face?

[Fang Duobing, Young Master of Tianji Manor]

Fang Duobing, it's you.

Directors.

We meet again.

I knew it.

Yuan Jiankang?

Isn't it Fang Duobing?

He almost got away.

No.

Why are you here again?

Why can't I come?

I took the exam for three years in a row,

but you always find excuses

to eliminate me in the end.

This time, I disguised myself

and got the first place.

You must have nothing to say.

Do your parents know you are here?

I...

Minister Fang and Lady He sent a letter.

The ink is still wet.

If you let my son enter Baichuan Academy,

I'll tear down Baichuan Academy and build a pigsty.

You are the only descendant

of the Fang family and the Tianji Manor.

We...

Of course we are not afraid of trouble,

but there's no need to make trouble.

All right.

Tie him up and send him back.

Wait.

Head Li asked me to come.

Don't you even listen

Head Li's order?

Head Li.

My master left me this sword.

You should know

the characters on it, right?

[Xiangyi]

Your master is...

Yes.

My master is the famous Li Xiangyi.

And I am your Head's direct disciple.

Li Xiangyi's Young Master Sword is the most rigid in the world.

But few people know

he also has a most flexible sword

called Neck-cutting.

My master has never

used Neck-cutting in public.

Less than five people

know about this sword.

And I...

I have seen it.

Are you really Head's disciple?

I told you.

We're on the same side.

How could I lie to you?

Can you take me in now?

But...

I...

When Sigu Sect was in trouble,

[Final Contract]

Baichuan Academy mortgaged this land to my mother. [Final Contract]

Baichuan Academy mortgaged this land to my mother.

This is the contract.

I won't watch

my master's Baichuan Academy

dismantled by my mother and made into a pigsty.

Since this is Head's will...

This is master's order,

not a will.

My master is just missing.

He's not dead.

So I want to stay in Baichuan Academy

and wait for my master to come back

and revive the Sigu Sect.

Young Master.

Did you succeed this time?

Luckily, uncle told me

a secret of Head Li.

Otherwise,

I almost couldn't make it.

Young Master, you're amazing.

But

if Madam knows that you pretended to be sick,

skipped the general examination,

and came here to take the exam,

[Baichuan Academy] and came here to take the exam,

[Baichuan Academy]

will she break one of your legs? [Baichuan Academy]

will she break one of your legs?

And Young Master,

if Master knows...

His Majesty ordered you to be the son-in-law.

But you overheard and ran away from the marriage.

Will he break your other leg too?

Can't you two

hope for good things for me?

Don't worry.

After I

become a famous detective,

they will know

compared to the court,

I'm more suited for the wide world.

Young Master,

where are we going now?

Jiazhou.

Wang Qingshan, head of Lingshan Sect,

sent me a letter a few days ago,

saying that he found the contact password

of Jinyuan Alliance in Jiazhou.

He suspects there are still remnants of the Cult of Devil in Jiazhou.

We planned to send someone to investigate.

But we just received news that

Wang Qingshan is dead.

How did he die?

He ascended to immortality.

It's true that the Lingshan Sect has been practicing immortality.

But the timing

is too coincidental.

I'll go to Jiazhou to investigate.

Sir, this way please.

Sir, what would you like to eat?

Make it simple.

I'll take one plate of everything.

Okay.

Please wait a moment.

Behave yourself.

Get in.

How dare you fool me?

You said that you need to divine before practicing medicine.

It's okay if you want to divine,

but you asked that dog to pick it up.

It picks up an unluckiest draw every day.

Are you kidding me?

Are you practising medicine or a dog?

[Baichuan Academy] Are you practising medicine or a dog?

[Baichuan Academy]

You're right.

This beast

can not only practice medicine,

but is also more reasonable.

If you don't save him today,

I'll cripple your useless claws.

Let's see how you can play tricks with us again.

Boss.

You forced me to do it.

Waiter.

Sir.

Tell me.

What happened?

These gentlemen

put a coffin at the back

and caught a doctor here.

They forced him to save the people in the coffin.

What an interesting doctor.

He said he needed a condition to save people.

He needs to get his dog to pick up the luckiest draw.

He's not an immortal.

How could he save the dead?

You are right.

If people don't have morality,

how are they different from animals?

Who are you?

How dare you meddle with things of the Hall of Wind and Flame?

Who am I?

Baichuan Academy.

A detective from Baichuan Academy.

It's a misunderstanding.

It's all a misunderstanding.

So you're a friend from Baichuan Academy.

I didn't know.

I'm sorry.

But we didn't do anything wrong.

I don't know why Baichuan Academy

is hard on the Hall of Wind and Flame.

So many of you bullied one of him.

It's not fair.

People who know martial arts bully him who doesn't know martial arts.

It's unjust.

For unfair and unjust things,

people of Baichuan Academy

will definitely get involved.

Well...

Well said.

Well said.

Young man.

You're a detective, right?

Then you came at the right time.

You came at the right time.

They...

They killed someone.

Killed someone?

Who did they kill?

Arrest them now!

Tell me.

What case?

We killed those who deserve to be killed.

But he shouldn't die at this moment.

Right?

That's right.

You'll die anytime I want.

You own the Yama's Palace?

You...

What are you doing?

Look.

He's staring at me.

All right, stop it.

Where is he?

Show me.

Emptying Hands, the master thief?

That's right.

Li.

His mouth and nose are cold.

There's no pulse at all.

He can't die anymore.

As for the cause of death,

it's probably your meteor hammer.

Sir.

He stole the treasure of Hall of Wind and Flame.

He is a Shaolin lay disciple.

He practiced Impenetrable Defence.

He shouldn't die like this.

That's right.

In that case,

what does it have to do with this doctor?

Did he kill him?

No.

Did he still with Emptying Hands?

No.

In that case,

why are you making things difficult for this...

Li Lianhua.

Doctor Li Lianhua?

Well said, young man.

This...

Did we just lose our things for nothing?

Didn't you just kill someone?

He took your stuff.

You killed him.

He's at a disadvantage.

You had a chance to find the lost thing.

Unfortunately...

Think about it before you take action next time.

Everyone's life is expensive.

You have to pay for killing, right?

As for this dead body,

I'll stay and inform Baichuan Academy.

As for how to deal with it,

it's also up to us.

Doctor Li.

You may leave now.

Thank you.

He can't leave.

Brother.

We lost the treasure of our Hall.

He is the only hope we can get it back.

Shi Wenjue of the Iron Armor Sect.

Iron Flute Hero.

It is said that Li Lianhua

is a miracle-working doctor who can cure the dead.

They would never lie.

But I only remember

I gave them

some rheumatic plasters.

But this plaster

can't bring people back to life.

I'm not that powerful.

I can't cure the dead.

How could you believe

words to cheat kids?

That's right.

If he can bring people back to life,

I'll take his surname.

This...

What?

You're not convinced?

the court had an agreement with Sigu Sect.

The affairs of the people are under the government's jurisdiction.

Baichuan Academy judge the grudges between people who know martial arts.

Are you disregarding the ruling

of Baichuan Academy?

Fine.

For today's matter,

we will not just let it go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Thank you for saving my life.

But

now,

they should...

Don't worry.

As long as I'm here,

no one dares to touch you.

Stay with me tonight.

I'll send you out of the city tomorrow morning.

How can I?

But my money...

I'll pay for it.

How loyal!

[Lingshan Sect]

[Lotus House]

Young Master.

The dessert is not delicate enough.

I'll prepare some more.

Thank you so much, Mr. Fang.

Li, don't mention it.

How do you know my surname?

Daring to recruit the only son of Minister Fang,

Fobi Baishi is really bold.

You know my father?

Mr. Fang.

If I'm right,

your sward ornament

should be a rare jade, cold smoke.

Last year, only one piece came out.

Fuyu Building charged an extremely high price.

Tianji Manor got it.

Your name is more frightening

than the title of a detective.

I didn't expect that although you don't know martial arts,

you're quite insightful.

I didn't want to be ostentatious

in the wide world.

Mr. Fang,

you must have just entered Baichuan Academy, right?

Yes.

Since I was young, I swore

I would join Baichuan Academy when I grow up

and revive the Sigu Sect.

So I don't want anyone to know

I'm the son of Prime Minister Fang.

I just want others to remember me as

an ordinary detective of Baichuan Academy.

Good ambition.

I like passionate young men like you.

It seems that we really get along well.

Here.

To Mr. Fang.

To Baichuan Academy.

Here.

It's my honor.

Cheers.

Cheers.

By the way,

Mr. Fang,

what's your plan on

handling the body of Emptying Hands?

I'll send a pigeon to Baichuan Academy

and ask them to bring it back.

By the way, Li.

I'm curious about one thing.

Why is the Hall of Wind and Flame so sure that

you saved two dead people?

I don't believe in resurrection.

In this world,

there are ways to revive the dead.

Because sometimes,

the dead may not really be the dead.

Li,

what do you mean?

This tea...

I haven't met a detective for so many years.

I didn't expect that the first detective

to meet is you, a newbie.

Baichuan Academy is getting worse every year.

Who are you?

For the sake of your help,

I'll say something more.

You made the first mistake as a detective

as soon as you got off the mountain.

You trust others too easily.

You deserve a beating.

Secondly,

your autopsy is not done professionally.

That's another beating.

I'm not blaming you.

Being a detective doesn't suit you.

Go home after one or two cases.

By the way,

also,

you even brought maids and servants with you.

Can you be more ostentatious?

Just you wait.

Get up.

Li.

Why are you so late?

Do you know that the Unbreathing Skill

can only last for three days at most?

Lower your voice.

The Hall of Wind and Flame is so cruel.

They almost killed me.

Cut the crap.

Leave now.

Okay.

Let's go.

Hurry!

Hurry!

Where is Li Lianhua?

My people just found out that

he knew Emptying Hands long ago.

He deliberately

lured us here to find him.

Boss.

Bad news!

The man in the coffin is gone.

Go after him!

Wait for me!

Wait for me!

Huahua?

You are well prepared.

Stop! Stop!

Stop! Stop!

-Stop! -Go!

Kid.

What did you say?

If this brother can really come back to life,

you'll take his surname.

I must seek an explanation from Baichuan Academy for this.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Li Lianhua.

Did you see Huahua?

That detective was so stern.

I owe you nothing now.

All clear.

The Hall of Wind and Flame

is really not good.

They started off as bandits.

Five years ago, they took the Shi family's secret book

as their own.

I had no choice.

I have to find and steal it.

But today,

fortunately, you're here.

-This play... -Where's my stuff?

Yes.

Here.

You're really weird.

If you're stingy,

when I want to give you half of the silver, you didn't want it.

You only want the recipe and five taels of silver.

If you're not stingy,

when anyone owes you three coins,

you have to get it back no matter where you have to go.

My consultation fee

is just five taels.

No more.

No less.

This is my master's recipe.

I wonder

how it ended up in someone else's hands.

I just like eating this.

You are always mysterious.

I can't tell if you know any martial arts.

But you're good at flying.

Who is your master?

Stop studying.

I'm just a lonely ghost.

Li Lianhua.

Are you looking for people of the Jinyuan Alliance?

It's my professional habit.

I was just curious.

Besides,

even if I search you thoroughly,

I can't find anything important.

Goodbye.

Go to Lingshan Taoist Rite

in Jiazhou,

you might find the person you're looking for.

Lingshan Sect?

Young Master.

Calm down.

We travel in the wide world,

it is normal to get our feet wet occasionally.

It's unexpected that

he looks harmless.

Who knows he's an old fox?

Young Master,

let's go back to the manor.

Do you remember that Lady said

if you dare to join Baichuan Academy, she will teach you a lesson.

My mother always threatens me.

When did she really teach me a lesson?

Actually, Young Master,

I just found that

all the money we brought out this time

has become invalid.

What?

The manager asked us to move out overnight.

But you know

we're used to living in the superior room.

We can't sleep on the streets.

No.

Since I've made up your mind,

how can I return so easily?

Let's go to Jiazhou first

and get down to business.

Take it.

Pawn it for some money.

Li Lianhua.

I must catch you to vent my anger

even I have to go to the end of the world.

[Jiazhou City]

Excuse me,

how do I get to Lingshan Sect in Jiazhou?

You're going to Lingshan Sect?

Are you too old?

There are many people going to Lingshan.

Go ask them.

Do you know?

I heard that the person the Lingshan Sect is looking for

is their next sect head.

[Notice] is their next sect head.

[Notice]

In my opinion, [Notice]

[Notice]

if they can find this boy, [Notice]

[Notice]

the boy can

inherit all the assets of Lingshan Sect.

Who do you think is so lucky?

Born on the sixth day of the fourth month of the lunar year, Bing Shen Year,

he has a lotus mole.

Wangfu.

What are you doing?

Young master,

I was born on the sixth day of the fourth month of the lunar year.

Does this look like a lotus mole?

Wangfu.

How long haven't you washed your feet?

I think you have a mole in your brain.

How can you believe that?

Wangfu.

Fu.

Why are you here?

I've been looking for you.

Cousin.

Did you see the notice?

It's clearly you.

Let's go.

Go to Lingshan Sect with me.

Wait.

What cousin? From Lingshan Sect?

Make it clear before we go.

As soon as Lingshan's notice came out,

I thought

isn't this Wangfu?

I went to the manor to find you.

But the people in the manor said

you and Eldest Young Master ran out.

Luckily I met you here.

We are here

for the ascension of the head of Lingshan Sect.

Tell me everything you know.

The Lingshan Sect

is a sect of Feng Shui Taoism.

They have many followers.

That's why it's super rich.

Of course.

They can't compare to

the Eldest Young Master of the Fang family.

But locally,

it's one of the richest.

But followers of the Lingshan Sect can't marry.

Once the sect head is gone,

only his disciples can be the next head.

But seven days ago,

[Tengyun Pavilion]

the head of Lingshan Sect [Tengyun Pavilion]

[Tengyun Pavilion]

ascended in public.

Master.

It's time to start the ceremony.

Don't panic.

You've been in our sect for years.

I didn't summon you here

to preach,

but to say goodbye to you.

I was guided by the deity

and cultivated three flowers gathering at the top

and five energy circulating.

I'm leaving this body behind

to protect you.

When you see the golden body in the future, it's like seeing me.

Farewell, Grandmaster.

[Destiny predetermined that the heir returned as a 16-year-old immortal boy who was born in the southwest of the city in early April and has a lotus mole on his right foot.]

That's what happened.

He just died like that

and became a golden body.

It's true.

Fu.

This is fate.

Since young,

your father abandoned you and your mother.

Your mother died early.

I thought

you might remain miserable in your life.

But who knew

there is such a good thing waiting for us?

It sounds interesting.

Looks like I have to go.

No.

Be gentle.

Why are you so rude?

Get lost!

Although your head is dead,

he owes me five taels of silver.

You are his disciple.

Pay the bill.

Get out of here!

Let me tell you.

I know your head.

Can't I go in and visit him alone?

You're not leaving?

I won't be polite with you then.

Don't come down. I'll go.

What a coincidence, Doctor Li.

I thought it would take a long time to find you.

I didn't expect that karma's a bitch.

We meet again so soon.

What a coincidence.

You're empty inside.

Your dantian is weak.

You really don't know martial arts?

Your body is weak too

and can't stand torture.

But you embarrassed me, a representative of Baichuan Academy,

in front of the Hall of Wind and Flame.

Don't worry.

I, Fang Duobing,

won't do anything to someone who doesn't know martial arts.

Aren't you eloquent?

Don't you have many opinions of Fobi Baishi

on how to train detectives?

Come with me to Baichuan Academy.

I'd like to see how you can talk you way out of

the prison of Baichuan Academy.

Young man.

Forget about Baichuan Academy.

Actually,

I just did a favor.

I received five taels of silver to treat a patient.

That's not a crime.

Besides,

let me explain this to you.

In fact, Emptying Hands,

he

used the Unbreathing Skill, right?

Yes.

I

never believe in resurrection.

I thought about it all night.

How did you do it?

I finally understand.

Young man,

you're really something.

I didn't know

you have a lot of knowledge.

There is only one line

that knows the Unbreathing Skill.

Ordinary people can't see it.

I know I'm smart.

Come with me.

Wait, young man.

Since you are so smart,

you must know

what is best for you.

Now the head of Lingshan Sect

has been killed.

I can help you solve the case

and help you pass the test of Baichuan Academy

so that your parents have nothing to say.

If I seal these two acupoints,

ordinary people can't unseal them.

Don't even think about escaping.

As for whether Head Wang was killed,

I'll get into it myself.

I don't need you, a talkative

fake miracle-working doctor, to help me.
