(Episode 75)

- Yu Jung! - Yu Jung!

Are you all right?

Yes, I'm fine.

- What's wrong? - Are you hurt?

Thank you, Seo Jun.

Shouldn't you go to the hospital?

It's not that serious. I'm fine.

Still...

I've got a first-aid kit in my office. Come with me.

Okay.

I think it's swelling up than before.

You're going to struggle at night. We should go to the hospital.

I'll be fine. Don't worry. I have some medicine at home.

But, Yu Jung...

- How are things with Min Hyuk? - We broke up.

Can I...

ask you why?

There's nothing special. It's just what ordinary couples do.

Thanks for this.

I'll take you home.

I'm really fine. I can go alone.

See you later.

I can't tell what Yu Jung is thinking.

What do you want to say?

What did you mean earlier by staying beside Seo Jun?

It's just as you heard it.

- But why? - What do you mean?

I don't see why I can't since Seo Jun has feelings for me.

But that's not how you feel.

You don't have feelings for him.

Why do you care?

You're doing this because of Yu Ra.

You're exploiting his heart.

But that's what you did to me.

What?

You put me in this company...

so that I can meet Seo Jun, and you could destroy Yu Ra.

Yu Jung, that's...

I heard Mohwa Construction was your doing too.

You made my mom fall into debt...

to have your revenge against our family...

and even tried to kick her and her store out of the building.

And now you're pretending to care about me?

Yu Jung, that was...

- It was because I misunderstood. - No.

That doesn't matter anymore.

Please.

Please don't do this.

Don't ruin yourself because of Yu Ra.

I can do more for Min Woo.

Whether it's beside Seo Jun or the fiery pit, I can go anywhere.

I'm going to crush Yu Ra with my own hands.

So don't try to stop me.

Yu Jung, please stop.

I can't bear to see you ruin yourself.

Let me go.

You no longer have the right to say this to me.

It was what you had to do, Yu Jung.

You only have to think about one thing.

To destroy Yu Ra.

Don't think about anything else.

We broke up.

Can I...

ask you why?

There's nothing special. It's just what ordinary couples do.

Hey, Yu Jung. Did you get home safely?

- How's your hand? - It's okay, thanks to you.

But I have something to tell you.

What is it? Go ahead.

I'd like to tell you in person.

I'll see you at your office tomorrow.

Okay, I'll see you tomorrow.

What could it be that she wants to talk about?

(Choi Jun Seok)

He was running wild to threaten me.

But I guess he's all anxious now.

- What? - Where's my mother?

Tell me.

I completely cut off Tae Poong...

and cooked up a good excuse to Seo Jun.

So now tell me.

Be patient.

I did everything that you wanted me to do.

How can I be more patient?

Until I witness some conclusive results of what you did.

If you don't tell me now,

I'll run up to your house.

You're so impetuous.

Fine.

Then let's meet up.

The nightscape here is gorgeous.

A view from a higher place is always the prettiest.

Don't you agree?

I'm not here to listen to your emotional crap.

So you shouldn't have messed with me.

It's all my fault.

Do you really think it's all your fault?

Yes.

I'll kneel if that's what you want.

So please...

tell me where my mom is.

Okay, I'll tell you.

But under one condition.

What is it?

I'll let you and your mother reunite if you agree...

to leave this country.

And keep your mouth shut forever.

Just erase the fact that you even met me from your memory.

Fine.

As I said, I'll do whatever you want.

So just tell me where she is.

Gosh, that's annoying.

- Do something about it. - I'm sorry.

I found your mother and moved her to a safe place.

Leave the country first thing in the morning.

If I confirm that you left,

then I'll send your mother to you.

How am I supposed to believe you?

What?

You even hurt yourself to frame me.

You might plot another self-fabricated scenario...

and hide her away.

How can I leave first?

What's so wrong with a self-fabricated scenario?

I can deal with it without a sweat.

I can do worse...

- if that could keep my post. - Han Yu Ra!

See?

Your mother is in my hands right now.

You'd better leave tomorrow to have your mother back.

I can't do that.

Don't you want her back?

No.

I'm going to tell Seo Jun everything about you.

And I'll let the police find my mom.

What do you think you're doing?

- Stop. - Let this go.

Let me go!

- Give this to me. - Stop!

- Give me your phone! - Let me go!

- Give it to me! - Stop.

- Let me have this. - What are you doing?

- Just give it to me! - You're crazy!

Give it to me!

- Get off of me! - Give me that!

Jun Seok.

No one saw it.

There weren't any security cameras nor passersby.

There was no one except for the two of us.

No one knows about this.

Did you just get home?

Yes, Mother.

Yu Ra, did something happen to you?

What's wrong?

It's just...

that the shoot went for a while today,

so I'm very tired.

Right. Go upstairs and get some rest.

Okay.

Yu Ra.

What happened to your coat?

The shoot was outside today. I guess it got on my coat then.

I should get it cleaned up.

I'll go upstairs.

Okay.

He must have died when he fell off from there.

No, what if he's alive?

Whether he's alive or dead, I should find him first...

to make sure that no one knows about this.

It's me.

I'll send you a location right now.

Look through all the emergency rooms and mortuaries near the location.

Find the trace of Choi Jun Seok.

Hwa Yeon, where's Yu Ra?

It was a long day for her yesterday.

I guess she's tired. She's resting in her room.

By the way,

Seo Jun won't be coming back home, will he?

What do you mean?

The girl Seo Jun likes.

Was her name Han Yu Jung?

I heard her child died.

Seo Jun must feel really bad for her.

As he stays by her side to comfort her,

he'll like her even more.

Then he might end up with her.

No.

That won't happen.

Oh, right.

She wasn't interested in Seo Jun, right?

Yes. She clearly said that she has no feelings for him.

How's your hand?

It's fine thanks to you.

That's a relief.

So what did you want to tell me?

Right, Seo Jun.

I...

want to come back to work.

Yes.

You made the right choice.

I'll make sure to leave a spot for you. You just come to work.

- Thanks. - Don't mention it.

I'm thankful to get back a competent employee.

Also, I have another question for you.

What is it?

I'll get straight to the point.

Sure. Go ahead.

You said you'll comfort me...

whenever things are hard for me.

Does the offer still stand?

Can I...

rely on you?

Yu Jung.

I think I've only turned away...

from your kindness so far.

I want to stop doing that.

But Seo Jun,

my feelings haven't gotten to where you are yet.

But I want to try.

Will you...

still be all right with that?

Yu Jung.

I still haven't cleared things up with Yu Ra.

As soon as I clear it up with her,

we'll see each other honestly.

That way, other people won't point fingers at you...

It's okay if it's because of me.

I just...

want to be with you now.

I'm not asking you to give me an answer now.

Think it through,

then tell me.

Yu Jung, what are you doing here?

You really...

It's the additional contract regarding the online concert.

Seo Jun, I saw Yu Jung coming out of this office just now.

It's none of your business.

You see,

I don't know what she said to you, but...

As I said,

it's none of your business.

I'm...

going out with her.

You know what state she's in.

She's just heartbroken after her child died...

I don't care.

If I could be of help to her,

I'll do anything.

She might have different intentions from you.

You could get hurt.

Are you...

worrying about me?

Don't cross the line.

You and Yu Jung are done.

I told you last time, didn't I?

When you're estranged from her,

I'll take that chance.

Seo Jun...

If you have nothing else to report, you can leave.

Clean it up well.

Mom.

What are you doing here again?

I told you to practice acting.

You said you have a shoot next week.

Stop nagging at me.

I'm practicing.

More importantly, you have a guest.

A guest?

Who?

Hello.

Who are you?

You're the daughter of the sushi restaurant's owner.

What?

Who is she?

The sushi restaurant that Bong Jun works at.

She's the owner's daughter.

What?

Oh, my. Hello.

But what brings you here?

My name is Kang Ye Jin.

I'm here to introduce myself as Yu Myung's girlfriend today.

Father and Mother.

- Yu Myung's girlfriend? - Girlfriend?

It wasn't the right time then. I want to properly introduce her.

Here.

It's nothing much, but I wanted to give it to you.

Apparently, it's good for your joints.

Mom. Dad. Drink it.

It's good for your health.

I feel lighter already.

Thank you very much, Ms. Kang.

You didn't have to bring this.

You don't have to use the honorific, Father.

If you were going to bring your girlfriend, you should have told me.

I didn't even prepare anything.

You can't just bring her to our store all of a sudden.

It's not even organized.

I'm fine with it.

It looks neat.

Maybe it's because you're so kind and elegant,

but the store also looks quite luxurious.

Where did you find this pretty, calm lady?

Yu Myung,

you should treat her well.

Have a chat a little.

We'll go get something to drink.

It's okay, Mr. Han. I'll get it.

You want to hire Ms. Han back?

Yes.

Seo Jun,

there are policies in a company.

You can't come back to the company you quit voluntarily...

whenever you want.

I'm aware of that too.

But Ms. Han is a competent worker who is acknowledged.

She played an active role in the recent online concert as well.

DL Group can't miss out on an employee like her.

Is that the only reason?

It's not.

It's not just because it's Yu Jung.

I don't mix business with personal life.

Still, we can't hire her back as a full-time employee.

That's against fairness as well.

Yes.

I agree with you.

I'd like to hire Ms. Han as a temp for a project.

- Temporarily? - Yes.

She'll be in charge of the upcoming online concerts and shows.

If she leads those projects,

it can raise brand awareness among young people as well.

Then...

what are you going to do when the project is over?

If she seems...

like a competent employee that our company needs,

we should hire her back.

Okay, then.

Go with that plan.

Okay.

You had a lot of work today, right?

I asked for your help abruptly because Sang Tae had lunch plans.

Thank you for coming to help.

No problem. Working with you again after a long time...

brought back old memories.

We had a lot of fun working at the clothing store, right?

Mrs. Yoon, you have fun here too.

You have a lot to see here.

Like what?

There's a kitty coming here every day.

A kitty?

Is it because it's a sushi place?

The kitty and the kitty owner sit right next to each other.

I can't stand watching them.

What?

Chef Yeo, stop joking around.

Hello?

Okay. I'll be there.

Mrs. Yoon, the oysters arrived.

Let's go check them together.

Is that so? Yu Jung, we'll be back soon.

Okay.

- Yu Jung. - Hey, Seo Jun.

Why did you come so early?

I'm done in 20 minutes.

I had a meeting nearby and it ended early.

I can wait.

Yu Jung,

you can start working tomorrow.

Really? Did they hire me back?

Yes, but...

you can start as a contract worker, not a full-time worker.

Is that okay?

Of course, it is.

When you're acknowledged, you can get a full-time job.

Thank you, Seo Jun.

Do you want something to drink?

Sure.

Seo Jun.

Auntie.

"Auntie"?

You mean...

you knew Mi Ri is the family of DL Group?

Yes, I happened to find out a few days ago.

Mi Ri wanted to tell you herself, so I didn't tell you.

I see.

Why?

Do you not like that she's the family of DL Group?

That seems to bother her a lot.

Some of the guys she dated...

approached her because of her background.

Some people were biased against her, so she was hurt a lot.

That seems to be the reason why she couldn't tell you,

so please understand her.

Okay.

Then is Mi Ri...

Chairman Cha's little sister?

The last person Sang Hyeon talked to was Chairman Cha.

Sang Hyeon was looking for someone who knew about Su Hee's past.

If he wanted to meet with Chairman Cha,

it's because he knows something about it.

You came to meet with Chairman Cha?

Yes.

He's in the US on business now.

You can give me the message.

His secretary who gave me tea didn't say so.

He just left for an urgent matter.

By the way,

you have something to tell him about Kang Sang Hyeon?

Yes.

Does Chairman Cha know her?

I'm sure my brother wanted to meet with Chairman Cha...

on September 20 because of her.

I don't think...

he knows her.

He was looking for someone lately,

but he found the person.

I think he wanted to meet Mr. Kang...

to see if the person Mr. Kang was looking for...

was the same person he was looking for.

Well,

is that so?

Five years ago,

I thought Su Hee had a connection with DL Group, but she didn't.

He said Chairman Cha found the person he was looking for.

But what a quirk of fate!

I'm seeing Mi Ri, who is the family of DL Group.

If I leave it this way, Yu Jung will get hurt and crushed.

I should take Yu Ra down before that happens.

Hello?

I'm sorry? What did you say?

How did it go?

There's no emergency patient or a body since yesterday?

Are you sure?

Keep looking just in case.

What did you want to see me for?

It was you, wasn't it? You killed him.

What do you mean?

I got a call that Mr. Choi died.

What?

Jun Seok is dead?

Stop acting.

You did it.

What do you mean? I have nothing to do with that.

The person who was to expose your truth closed his mouth.

Besides, he was found dead in a desolate place at night.

It's just a coincidence?

If you were me, would you believe that?

Do you have proof that I killed him?

You don't.

You got the wrong person. It wasn't me.

Fine. The proof.

I'll definitely find the proof.

I will get to the bottom of it...

and reveal that it was you.

Tae Poong,

it's no use no matter how much you struggle.

There's no proof.

Hello?

I've found...

Choi Jun Seok's body.

Where are you?

I'll have to see it myself.

He fell from a high place, so his body is quite damaged.

Especially his face.

It'd be too hard to look at. Would you still take a look?

Yes.

Wait.

- Give me that. - Let go of me!

- Let it go! - Let go of me!

- Let go of me! - Give me that!

- Give me that! - Let go of me!

- Let go of me! - Give me that!

It's okay.

I don't need to see it.

Yu Jung, did you like it?

Yes. It was good.

Let's eat good food every day from now on.

Yu Jung,

I want...

to answer your question.

You asked...

if I'd still want you by my side...

even though your feelings haven't gotten to where I'm at.

This is...

my answer.

Open it.

What do you think? Do you like it?

Yes.

It's beautiful.

Try it on.

I'll put it on you.

It looks good on you.

It's so beautiful.

Really?

Thank you.

Your heart doesn't have to be...

at the same pace as mine.

It's enough that you started to come toward me.

Yu Jung,

thank you.

I'll treat you better.

We shouldn't forget about today...

because we should celebrate this day every year.

So I have something to tell you, Seo Jun.

It's all over now.

My past is erased,

and there's no threat for me.

I'm home.

Yu Ra.

Yu Jung,

why are you here?

It's been a while.

Mrs. Han.

(A Man in a Veil)

Did you know Seo Jun and Yu Jung were dating?

Why did you two break up?

Mom, why did you do such an unnecessary thing?

Nothing happened between me and Tae Poong.

We never even held hands.

Why are all of you so useless in my life?

Now that I know about you two,

I can't let you stay in the company. Please leave.

Have you ever seen me romantically?

I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier.

Actually, Dong Ho is my sister's son.

My sister is...

Am I running out of ways?
