to like an athlete who's in the zone

or you know when someone is like on a
really good history

and you don't really
know what's going on.

But if you know something special,

like that's what I always strive for.

So even when I'm struggling or when
I'm down, going for that thing

is like the gas, like for
a patient.

But like in a class, it's like,

that you just want to
keep trying to like get.

Here's what's funny.

The third, when I first
walked into the wardrobe fitting

for like, for real, it was like track
suits and sweatsuits.

And I told the creator,

So I went in, like
bought a bunch of stuff.

And then I even got the tattoo.

I was like, I feel like he
should have like a tattoo.

And I sent it to her.

Luckily, she was with it.

So everything that he had
was kind of like something

that I had that I bought myself.

And then the wardrobe person
eventually like bought amazing things.

And like, it became a
great character.

But like, most of it was mine.

But like, if I could say one thing,

it'd be like a blue button up,
like button up to the top

like this, like a jean jacket.

Because that's like my everyday.

Why do people like the wardrobe?

I met some dude in the mall
once that had the same tattoo

acting because of people

that were doing TV.

And they didn't know
that they were affecting me

that same way.

give people that same thing.

who can really like

transform and like do accents

and like their whole body

and they walk differently.

So I strive to be that, of course.

But to be honest,

there's only like little things
that have happened.

was laughing as a character.

laugh changed in my real life.

And I was like, why am I
laughing this way?

Or even like a walk, like I--
Rio walked a certain way.

And I always had my hands
behind my back with the intention

to show that I'm not a threat.

Because everything else
about him was a threat.

So I always did this.

But now when I'm with
my son and my wife,

I'm always like this.

And I'm like, damn it.

But it's the thing that gets
into you, one,

because you created it.

And then two, you do it so often
that it becomes a part of you.

And like even like, oh, I'm dressed.

like I dress like Rio now.

so she would like make me
some enchiladas sometimes,

But I would always bring my own food,

because I don't know
this any other food.

not knowing if it would
ever reach them,

I would send it to their
agency or wherever.

I would reach out to
everybody on Instagram,

I'd try to find anybody
I can who I'm a fan of,

not to network, but to be like,

y'all love your work,
I'd love to work with you.

can come from it.

always well-written.

What's the craziest thing
that I've done to prepare?

I had an audition and
the character was blind.

So I went to a mall
and I had my friendcome with me

and I blindfolded myself and
I was like stay near me

but don't help me

and I tried to walk through this mall

blindfolded, blindfolded.

And I did it for like 30 minutes or so

and I had no idea and it
was the scariest thing.

And then I took it off and my friend
was just laughing his ass off.

He was like, "Bro, you just walked
in a circle for like 20 minutes."

He's like, "You just literally walked

from like there to there.

You thought you were so scared
and going everywhere."

And here I am thinking I was
like doing some Daniel Day Lewis shit.

I was like, "Oh, there's nothing.
I walked in a circle in a mall."

Yeah, so that's it.
