I feel like a lot of people say that,

they're a parent first

and they're a dad first,

but you rarely meet like
people that really mean it.

And to me, my son is like
my world from everything.

You know, he makes me the happiest.

He brings me the most joy

and it's also the most challenging
thing too, if you like be honest.

Like raising a boy nowadays,
it's always hard

because you want him to be,
you know, sensitive, tough,

artistic, hard-working,

but it's hard to have that balance, right?

Because the world is always going to
put something on him.

But to me,

what I find the most like what's
worked for me

just kind of being honest with him,

telling him how,

you know,

how I've seen the world

and what could benefit him.

But hey,

it's your choice.

Like you have to make this decision and

you have to live with

it.

And sometimes they'll come and tell me,
you know,

dad, this happened at school today

or this happened at school today

and it like you want to go and rage, right?

You want to go fight his battles for him

and it's the hardest thing to be like,

And like the days when
he comes back and is like,

If you go to a boxing gym,

they're the nicest,

kind of calmest people

and i want him to have that and I

and I always told my wife,

I want him to know how to fight so he

so hecan remain like the

like the sensitive kid that he is

so he can like so the world doesn't
take that away from him

because like when most people try to
act tough and like,

put on this like over masculine shit
is because of their insecurities,

But if you know how to fight,

you can be sensitive.

You can be funny.

You can be anything you want to be

because nobody is going
to message you

and ifsomething does happen,

you know how to handle yourself.

always reiterate

likeI hate violence bro.

like I love boxing,

but I hate punching people

and always tell people like this comes
you down to the point

where you don't have to fight.

So like learning martial art,

whether it's jitsu boxing something

and it benefits your
child in such great ways.

So yeah,I tell every parent that so you're the

Honestly,

I just mimicked

everybody I saw growing up.

So like, you know around my way.

I had like the dudes that were very

will throw a football around you

or be like yo go go inside man.

And I always like like their stillness
and their calmness

and there's this one dude in particular
that kind of just had this like scariness

and he'd have to do anything.

They had like loud dudes and like when
I was first working on the audition.

I was like tapping into that and it
wasn't working and then

and then I just like did this
still thing

and I was like, oh shit.

I could be scary like if I'm quiet,

that's cool too.

And it just kind of
gave me like a power.

So I just rolled with that.
