this is my video essay for my project on

bullying in my AP Psychology class

that's now

late okay everyone has experienced or

knows someone who's experienced

bullying sometimes it's unintentional

sometimes it's more direct but either

way the results are always the same

someone gets

hurt that's exactly what happened this

past last week which was one of the

strangest but also one of the best weeks

of my entire life

spreads for every action there is either

an equal or greater

reaction someone does something someone

blames someone then someone has to

retaliate and so on and so forth It's

like a tornado that keeps getting bigger

specific in your beginning statement

your thesis clear and

class and once you've established what

you want to talk about then make sure in

the body of your essay that you give

details reference the book that's fine

um and towards the end I want you to be

very clear closure at the end of the

essay and once you've had that then you

know exactly where your essay is going

to be going keep moving forward and then

once you have closure at the end then

you she doesn't have to see you after

class I'm sorry I'm late and I have to

see you after class she's late and she

gets a smile and a howdy Duty so I'm not

because I know this is your fifth tardy

this month and after the fifth tardy you

get detention she's late all the time

yesterday at detention and well I think

going with the anti-bullying Club um you

know well you see principal Maza

according to the data our high school

had 147 reported cases of bullying in

the past 6 months using the sample those

that reported bullying we were able to

isolate each case to each student those

who were bullied showed a significant

decrease in academic progress as well as

an increase in days of absences ero by

targeting specific groups and

demographics with the highest amount of

bullied students will be able to

pinpoint students that need the most

attention with which will result in the

most efficient outcome

possible wow yeah exactly she said yep

we just thought the goth B would get

more people

involved fantastic that that that's some

really really fantastic great work I I

will instruct my my secretary to to help

you any way we can because you know this

bullying crisis and and it is a crisis

it's not just here in Bridgeport it's

it's a it's a national epidemic and well

it's person

for me as well my wife and I we lost we

lost um our son to bullying a few years

back back when I was a

teacher and and it well it happened

right in front of my face but I couldn't

I I couldn't see anything until it was

too late

that it's never too late to change it's

never too late to make a difference

bully
