Today, we are here

to host the Bathing Ceremony of Vesak Day for Mr. Zheng Bingrui.

Please give your blessings.

Daddy, help me!

Headquarter! The AKG has arrived.

Handing over the case. Over.

Secure the perimeter, check anyone suspicious.

The villa is surrounded by water with only one entrance.

- Did anyone see Tingting? - No.

Are you the parents?

No, I am her teacher.

He is her father.

Anyone's birthday?

No, today is Vesak Day.

It's the bathing ceremony, a kind of baptism.

Did the kid disappear then?

After the ceremony,

almost everyone had left.

I was playing hide and seek with the kids.

- Did you see her? - No.

Look over there.

Then we were all looking for her.

Just couldn't find her.

Daddy! Help me!

Daddy! Help me!

This is the last place she was seen. The surveillance was blocked by a balloon.

We sent a team...

We must find Shi Fu'an now!

I'll do it myself.

Please calm down! We've started the search.

Mr. Zheng, please examine the wallpaper of the room.

From the time she was last seen till the video, they got an hour.

It was rush hour.

The traffic's 20 kilometers per hour max.

Check all residences within 20 kilometers.

Does the wallpaper ring a bell?

- Find any record of the wallpaper. - Yes, sir!

Submit all video footage to the TCSD for analysis.

Mr. Zheng,

why are you sure it was Shi Fu'an?

He was the only one who left at that time.

Is that Shi?

Yes, that's him.

Did you invite him?

No, he came unexpectedly. Uninvited.

Your friend?

A friend from long ago.

We are all Chinese from Manga.

Why did he come?

His kid has heart disease,

needs money for surgery.

I lent him 300,000 earlier.

Mr. Zheng,

thank you for your kindness.

Get up.

Come on. Stand up.

- Cure your kid. - Thank you.

He left with a million thanks.

Since he left, no one has seen the girl.

Sir, it can't be Shi.

We have witnesses.

We all saw that he came and left.

But he looked joyful, not like he was up to something bad.

According to the witnesses,

he had no time to kidnap.

Who then?

Must be him.

The camera was intentionally blocked.

Your daughter should have been behind the balloon.

It obstructed the view on your girl,

and his car.

Before Shi arrived, someone had already set up everything.

During your meeting,

your daughter was put in here.

From this moment on, trust no one.

The accomplice is likely still in this villa.

Now I recall,

during the hide and seek Pipi hid under the car.

The gardener was just nearby.

Pipi!

Pipi! Come here!

Lu.

Do some digging on the gardener!

Hello?

Mr. Zheng, do you want to save your daughter?

Shi Fu'an.

You called the police, right?

Starting with the kidnapper's name?

Didn't the cop tell you how to reply?

ASK MORE TIME

There are no cops here.

How much do you want?

Great!

Prepare 100 million by tomorrow.

In cash!

Give me some time. I can't get that much right away.

HOW TO DELIVER

Your daughter isn't worth 100 million?

I want to talk to my daughter.

I need to be sure…

- Anything? - Satellite phone,

using an overseas ID to transmit.

Can't trace it.

You may leave now.

I'll figure it out.

This is a criminal case.

You called the police, and we should do our job.

Sir,

we found Shi's car.

Can he understand?

He is mute, but he can hear.

This was found in your room.

There's a trace of sevoflurane in the plastic bag.

We found this in the lawn mower.

The DNA test shows it is Zheng Tingting's hair.

Where is the kid?

Who are you working with?

Write it down!

Lu,

even if they get the ransom,

you will be the only scapegoat.

They'll get away,

while you suffer behind bars.

Is that what you want?

So, ten years or ten months in jail…

It's up to you.

Zheng Bingrui,

Chairman of Ruiting Group.

His wife died in childbirth.

He has a daughter, Zheng Tingting, the hostage in this case.

Zheng is a refugee orphan from Manga.

He rose from rags to riches and got famous.

He is also a Buddhist.

Why did he switch from logistics to cosmetics?

Zheng helped a big boss find his lost child.

Out of gratitude, the boss gave him a facial mask company,

which grew into the Ruiting Group.

The story has been told many times by Zheng.

It's Ruiting's founding story.

Shi Fu'an, married.

His wife is Tinaya.

He has a son.

No address registered.

Lu, mute.

Damaged vocal cord, but can hear.

He's been working as a gardener for Zheng for three years.

Our hypothesis is that Lu drugged the hostage,

moved the girl with the lawnmower and put her in the trunk.

Then Shi drove the car out.

Also, the wallpaper's been identified. It was sold over a decade ago.

The maker went broke,

there's no record.

There are a few things unusual in this case.

First, they did it here, a classic locked-room disappearance.

This required long-term planning.

Second,

they demanded the highest ransom of the decade,

and only in cash.

Third, the kidnapper used encrypted phones we haven't been able to trace yet.

This means,

even if they contact us again, we still can't trace it!

How was Lu's interrogation?

Zuo?

We've tried everything.

The accomplice is caught,

the kidnapper might kill the kid.

They can see our moves.

Zheng is a well-known business figure, the media will expose this soon.

Everyone keeps their mouths shut!

No leaks to the media.

I don't care what it takes,

we can't let this case bring shame on AKG.

Sir, I want Team Three and Four on the case.

Why?

The kidnappers are bound to act within 48 hours. I want to be ready.

Zheng's status is special,

but things haven't escalated to...

Sir, this case is important to me.

Perhaps it'll be my chance to return to NICA.

You've been in AKG for two years.

Zheng Bingrui seems reluctant to work with us.

Sir Mendoza, Sir Zhang!

The bank reported.

Zheng is withdrawing 100 million in cash.

We work around him.

Our goals remain the same. Rescue the kid.

I'll grant you the highest clearance for 48 hours.

Daddy! Where are you?

Tingting!

- Daddy! - Tingting!

Hurry! It's Tingting!

Daddy!

Tingting!

LEAVE YOUR PHONE. IT'S TAPPED.

Give me your phone.

Hello?

Okay, I'll check it out now.

You can get off ahead.

Let me drive your car.

I go with you.

Just in case, I can help.

It's not necessary to get you involved.

Tingting went missing on my watch. And I called the police.

I must find her.

Officer Zhang, I'm catching up.

Team Two, keep your distance.

Roger that.

Good thing you had us prepared for this.

- Hello? - Take a U-turn ahead!

Pull over under the bridge.

U-turn.

Sir, they took a U-turn.

They stopped.

Team Two, stop.

It seems they'll meet here.

Roger that. But I can't see anything here.

Team Three,

to the ramp's exit.

Team Three arrived.

So who is this Shi Fu'an?

We had some issues before.

Hello?

Now follow my instructions.

Sir, what do we do now?

Zuo,

go there and check.

Roger that.

Sir, the car is here,

but it's empty.

- Where are they? - We lost them.

Hello?

Dad, where are you?

I'm on my way.

Don't be scared.

Tingting?

Throw her phone into the river.

Throw it into the water.

Throw it!

It's done.

The money is ready.

Where do we meet?

Have you watched Quiz Show?

What's that?

A question-answer contest.

Take it easy. It's pretty simple.

Give the right answers, I'll give you the location.

Let me speak with Shi Fu'an.

Cut the crap.

You want to save her?

Ask for the question!

I'm listening.

Question One: Which area has the biggest slum?

A: Rattanakosin,

B: Roytei,

C: Khungsai.

Khungsai!

You answered even before I finished.

Isn't it quite easy?

Your kid's in Khungsai.

Are you on the run?

I just came to ask if two guys arrived on your boat.

Don't you know the rules?

Hello?

We're in Khungsai.

Where are you?

Mr. Zheng, relax!

Here is the second question.

Which anesthesia drugs act the fastest?

A: Sevoflurane,

B: Ketamine,

C: Triazolam,

D: Ether.

I don't know!

Where is my kid?

I forgot to tell you, Mr. Zheng,

wrong answer or no answer

will fail the quiz.

I won't give you the location.

Counting down. One minute.

You're Tinaya, correct?

No cops around,

give me Tingting,

keep the money.

We don't have to go down that far.

Are you sure I can never get to you?

Is that a threat, Mr. Zheng?

I'm afraid it's too late.

Look.

I'm

Now, more than 10,000 people are watching us.

They are live streaming us.

What the hell do you want?

If you don't do as I say,

the deal is over.

YOU PULL, I'll KILL HER.

Countdown!

Ten.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

- Do something! - Two.

I only want to save my daughter.

One.

A: Sevoflurane.

Correct!

Ride southward at the fork ahead.

Contact YouTok ASAP, tell them to stop the live streaming.

Sir, we can't shut down an overseas platform.

Besides, it's not just YouTok that's live streaming.

I got over 20 calls in just one hour.

Stop the live stream.

At least the kidnappers are giving clues.

They're in Khungsai.

We can catch them soon.

Listen!

I can give you 48 hours at the most.

Mr. Zheng, you've gone viral.

People are watching us.

The police are also watching us for sure.

Question Three: How many years of imprisonment for child trafficking?

A: Life sentence,

B: More than ten years,

C: Five to ten years,

D: Less than five years.

You'll get the location if you answer correctly.

It's C.

Are you sure?

Yes.

Mr. Zheng's knowledge about this topic

is really astonishing.

Tell me the location!

You should know where your daughter is.

What does that mean? Where is it?

Tingting?

Tingting?

Are you sure it is here?

What is this place?

It was an orphanage.

I lived here when I was a child.

That way.

Get off me!

Get off me!

Get off me!

Tingting?

Tingting?

I am sorry! Let me off!

I'll never flee again.

I am sorry.

I'll never flee again.

I am sorry.

Get off me!

I'll never flee again.

I am sorry! Let me off!

I'll never run away again.

I am sorry.

I'll never run away again.

Not anymore.

What's wrong?

Do you hear anything？

It's over there.

Tingting?

Tingting?

Don't be scared.

Sorry, Mr. Zheng.

I put the wrong child.

How is it a boy?

- Ask TCSD to do a facial scan. - Yes, sir.

Where is my daughter?

We've brought the money.

What the hell do you want?

- Tingting? - Don't be scared. It's okay.

Stop the game.

Auntie, help me!

Where is my daughter?

You know this boy.

His surname is Pankong.

There's a van outside.

Bring him over to exchange with your daughter.

No.

Auntie, I want to go home.

The octopus sticker on your daughter's hand is adorable.

If you don't bring the boy,

your daughter will lose a finger.

Thirty seconds countdown!

No.

If you do that, you're no different from them.

They're playing with you.

I'm done playing.

Let's wait for the cops.

You won't get anything.

Tingting?

Tingting?

Tingting?

I put the finger in the fridge.

This is your last chance.

Put the money and the boy into the van in the front yard,

and drive over here.

You know where to go.

Help me.

Help Tingting.

Move!

Let me out!

The van is driving southeast from the Vulcan Orphanage.

ETA: Sanki Road in five minutes.

- AKG copy. - Copy.

Where are we going?

No signal.

They perhaps left the main road. The live broadcast has suspended.

Where are we headed?

Who is this kid?

These kidnappers came for you, right?

They are not after money.

There's no signal here.

Even if there's a camera, the live stream is off.

Tell me the truth!

I'm heading to Thornsai Pier.

You're going the wrong way.

There's police on the main road.

There are two ways to smuggle, the waterway and the "CO2" route.

The vans aren't well-ventilated,

and the journey is long.

Too many people in vans will risk low oxygen.

So it's called the "CO2" route.

How do you know all this?

That's how I sneaked in from Manga.

Whose kid is this?

When I first knew that man,

he was just a rookie cop.

He came to the orphanage every month.

The children he picked…

Were sent overseas,

adopted by wealthy families.

Years later,

I realized it was all a lie.

Thornsai Pier is where the chosen children were shipped abroad.

When I started transporting them,

it was in a van like this, on this very route.

You were involved in this?

You're an orphan yourself.

- Why did you do it? - He decides who should be the orphans.

"Legit" means real orphans.

When they weren't enough, we kidnapped.

These kids were called "defect."

In the Vulcan Orphanage,

most orphans were "defect" like me.

Some children are treated as kids,

but others…

Are treated as commodities.

I didn't want to be a commodity.

So I had no choice.

Come here!

- Come! - Get off me!

Get off me!

Don't move!

Please!

Please!

Hurry up!

If you didn't join them,

you got whacked.

If it was you,

what would you choose?

You guessed right.

The kidnappers weren't after money.

Shi Fu'an and his wife

both worked for that man.

They had an accident when shipping the "goods",

and were nearly wiped out.

It's likely they returned for revenge.

Now, the lives of two kids are at stake.

Let's work with the police?

The police can't help us.

I never thought that the low-ranking cop from back then…

Would become such a big shot now.

Who exactly is he?

We identified the boy.

He's the youngest son of Daymond Pankong, the director of the NSA.

The head of security is a child trafficker.

So am I.

We'll solve it ASAP.

Yes, sir.

Get out of the car.

The main road is just ahead.

The police won't trouble you.

Did Tingting's mom know about all this?

Tingting was named by her mother on her deathbed.

"Ting" means "to stop."

So, did you stop?

Yes, years ago.

The Buddha only forgives those who genuinely repent.

The Buddha has given me a chance to atone for my sins.

Get off.

Tingting chose me.

I'm not leaving.

This is Daddy Octopus.

I'm Baby Octopus.

And Ms. Li is Mommy Octopus.

Next time, we'll play the Octopus Family.

Shit!

What's wrong with him?

He'll suffocate.

Sir, the signal is back.

They're back on the main road to Thornsai Pier.

Follow them to Thornsai Pier.

Why did they move the kid?

The kid seems to have passed out.

Wait here.

Tingting?

Tingting?

Tingting?

Tingting?

Tingting?

Search!

Here!

Freeze!

Stand up!

Mr. Zheng,

don't be stupid.

Hand over our director's son.

I just want my daughter back.

We are investigating.

Director, good evening! We got Zheng Bingrui.

Where's my son?

We're both fathers here.

Tell me where my son is.

He was right here just moments ago.

This is karma.

Take Mr. Zheng under custody.

Daddy!

Daddy!

Daddy!

- Daddy! - Son!

- Don't be stupid. - Stay back.

Put down your gun!

Daddy!

Put it down!

Listen to him, put your guns down.

Zheng Bingrui, calm down.

Move away.

Move away!

Listen to him. Back off.

- Daddy! - Son! Don't be afraid. Daddy is here.

Daddy!

Daddy!

Pursue!

It's okay, okay. Don't cry. Don't worry!

- Go! - Hurry up!

It was a massive explosion.

Most corps are incomplete.

This is the largest shipwreck in the past decade.

We'll do our best to investigate,

and unveil the truth to the public.

Alright, I got it.

He's here.

Mr. Daymond,

please say something about the 619 incident.

The investigation

was a collaborative effort of multiple departments.

The evidence is conclusive. And the records are public.

Anyone interested can look it up themselves.

Sir, we just found out that after Zheng left home,

he used Ms. Li's phone to make a call to Wu Dayi.

He grew up with Zheng in the orphanage.

So I suspect he orchestrated the explosion and rescued Zheng.

He was in this area for over ten minutes.

Keep me posted.

Sir, she's being released on bail this easily?

The investigation is not complete.

Investigation? Your duty is to rescue the hostage.

Sir Mendoza!

No sign of Shi Fu'an.

Only Tinaya and her son are at home.

F6, left side at the end.

I'll make other preparations.

Sir, Wu is on the move.

Tail him.

I'm heading to the previous location.

Yes, sir.

Who's there?

You?

Why do you come?

"Please examine the wallpaper."

- Hey. - Tingting?

- Tingting? - What's wrong with you?

Give me my daughter.

What are you talking about?

Give me my daughter!

What does it have to do with me?

Ask yourself…

If you hurt someone else's child, you will suffer karma.

Killing a child, will bring eternal karma.

Where is my daughter?

Who else is behind this?

Your wife's death,

your daughter's disappearance… You deserve it.

You deserve it.

Don't…

It's really not us.

Fu'an only wanted some money.

Tell me!

We were after money.

We...

We didn't do it.

- Talk! - It wasn't us.

I'll kill you!

Mom!

Fu'an only wanted some money.

Tell me!

We were after money. We…

I'll kill you!

Yayin,

help us.

Do you remember her?

Niuniu?

Niuniu?

Drink more water.

Okay.

Auntie, you dropped your ball.

Thank you, sweetie.

Why is your face so dirty?

Of course,

you've kidnapped so many kids.

How can you remember this one?

The case's closed.

She was wearing these when she went missing.

Go home and wait for notice. Next!

Please help me find my daughter.

- Please. - Excuse me.

She has a birthmark on her shoulder.

Eat something.

The police doesn't care about missing person's case.

Coming here every day is futile.

I'm a mother-to-be myself.

I'll do my best to find her.

Thank you!

I'm sorry.

Wait. I'm on my way.

Don't alarm anyone.

Officer Liang, any news?

Let me come with you.

Maybe I can help.

Just go home.

I'll update you if there's any news.

I want to know who killed my daughter.

Hey, honey!

I'm doing some yoga after dinner.

You're off duty, right?

You can't imagine how sad their families are.

I'm okay.

How could you mess with heroin?

Do you want to die? Get inside.

No more water spinach?

I've got some. I can share.

- No, it's fine. - We're neighbors. We've met before.

What does your husband do?

He works for Mr. Zheng.

Which Mr. Zheng?

Zheng Bingrui.

He's really nice, and generous to his staff.

- Yeah. - Let me serve you.

Thanks. I do it myself.

Have a drink.

- You don't drink? - What are you watching?

Quiz Show.

Watching you die right in front of me…

Makes me feel good.

Truth. Truth.

- Hello? - Mr. Zheng,

let's settle this.

Who the hell are you?

Who I am is not important.

What's important is you killed my daughter.

The 619 incident was an accident.

Then your daughter will die in an accident too!

Release my daughter, and take my life.

I don't want your life.

I want you to tell the truth.

How?

Start a live stream,

and tell everyone the truth about the 619 incident.

One lie,

and your daughter will die.

How can I trust you again?

Before your live stream, I'll let you see your daughter.

Tomorrow morning, nine o'clock,

where those children died in explosion.

Come alone.

You know too much.

He made me do it.

Don't blame me.

I overheard that the police was coming for you,

and tailed Officer Zhang's car.

Why does he want to kill you?

It's Daymond who wants me dead.

The 619 incident wasn't an accident.

Daymond orchestrated it.

So,

the children on the boat…

Were all from your orphanage?

I was the one who drove them to the pier.

During that time, the police examination had tightened up.

We all agreed this would be our last gig.

Daymond used to help settle everything.

I didn't think it would end this way.

Attention, vessel ahead.

This is the Maritime Security Agency.

Please stop your vessel for inspection immediately.

The Coast Guard has caught up. What do we do?

There are still "goods" on board.

Hello, boss.

We can't run away.

Can you get rid of them?

I got it.

I never thought Daymond

had already set explosives on the ship.

Just to silence everyone whenever needed.

Tinaya.

- Tinaya, run! - What now?

Bombs in ship!

When Shi Fu'an showed up at my home,

I realized they weren't dead.

But the real kidnappers…

Are the parents of kids from the 619 incident.

Only by exposing Daymond I can save Tingting.

I agreed to their terms…

To start a live.

I will confess to the public,

where the ship exploded during the 619 incident.

I'm going with you.

They only allowed me to go.

If Tingting becomes an orphan,

will you take care of her for me?

Don't let her live the life I lived.

I'm not a good man…

But I want to be a good father.

Can I?

Do you remember the play we had?

When an octopus becomes a parent,

it's no longer the same octopus.

We're the same.

I'll be waiting for you to bring Tingting back.

Why would they choose this place?

Five years ago, Zheng bought land here

to build a temple.

He even held a grand groundbreaking ceremony

and invited several prestigious monks.

The building permit didn't come through.

Oh, right,

this is very close to the site of the 619 incident.

Do you think we're going to hell?

Isn't this hell?

Zheng is setting off.

Notify the Coast Guard.

Headquarter, Zheng is setting off.

Tingting!

Tingting!

Hello?

See that?

Your daughter is on a ship not far from you,

along with your girlfriend.

Search.

Hands up!

Hands up!

Ms. Li, are you ready?

Yes, I'm ready.

Do you remember

what you told me earlier?

Yes, I remember everything you said.

Daymond was using Vulcan Orphanage for child trafficking.

In the 619 incident,

he was the one who blew up 23 children.

Mr. Zheng is innocent.

He was coerced into that.

Your NSA director is a human trafficker.

You've all been deceived.

The director of the NSA is a human trafficker.

I'm begging you, please let Tingting go.

She's just a kid.

Did you see that?

In ten minutes,

your girlfriend will go live for you,

and tell everyone

the truth about the 619 incident.

Director, the hostages are at two o'clock.

In the drawer of the TV cabinet beside you,

I've left something for you.

Go take a look.

It is the remote for explosives on them.

You can choose to press the button,

just like in the 619 incident.

Blow up the ship,

to stop the live stream.

Patrol boats, be ready.

- Rescue the hostages! - Move!

If you come closer, the live stream will begin immediately!

Tell everyone the truth, or blow up the ship.

The choice is yours.

Abort.

I said abort!

Lead the team out first.

I'll talk with Mr. Zheng about the rescue plan.

I believe we should rescue the hostages now.

You may leave now.

Director,

AKG's responsibilities is to protect the hostages and their families.

We must stay here.

SWAT, attention!

Escort all AKG personnel out. Clear the area!

Zuo, rescue the hostages first!

Alright, we'll do it your way. Rescue the hostages first

Boss, calm down.

Put down the gun.

Calm down, put down the gun.

I'm sorry, Sir.

Officer Zhang!

Everyone,

we have a corrupt officer in our team.

Zhang Jingxian exploited his position,

colluding with gardener Lu to kidnap Tingting.

It's been confirmed

Zhang Jingxian is the criminal behind the kidnapping.

This meticulously designed abduction

aims to bring shame to the entire police force.

- Zuo. - Yes, sir!

You are now the captain.

All AKG personnel,

leave and stand by!

Without the director's commands, nobody shall enter the room!

Your wife was Liang Su'e, right?

You thought it was kept confidential,

so I couldn't find out?

Your wife was also bombed by my guy.

With all this evidence we can bring them down this time.

You can find out who's behind all this?

Once we get to these guys involved, I am sure.

Let me do it, sir.

Refine the chain of evidence further,

I'll give you the green light.

Thank you, sir.

Where are you?

I was doing some yoga after dinner.

You're off duty, right?

I'm getting the pregnancy check report.

Are you working overtime?

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have lied to you.

Liang Su'e, can you take good care of yourself and our baby?

You can't imagine how sad their families are.

I don't want our kid to grow up in fear and anxiety.

What's wrong?

Nothing, really.

The baby just kicked me.

Tell me where you are, I'll come pick you up.

I didn't want to kill you.

Killing a cop is such a hassle.

But you just had to interfere.

Come here, hand me the remote.

You want to blow up my daughter?

Let's blow up together!

Don't be stupid.

Now you have two remotes in your hands.

One that blows up your daughter and your girlfriend,

and the other blows you up…

As well as me.

Surely, you'd choose to blow them up.

And I can tell a story that a dirty cop kidnapped your daughter…

And the AKG rescue mission failed.

You're young,

with wealth and health.

You can always have another kid.

Or…

I could kill you now,

then blow them up afterwards.

Go on, shoot!

Do it!

Do something good for once…

And save my daughter.

Don't push me.

No one's pushing you.

The remotes are in your hands.

You can choose.

I never had a chance to choose.

I knew you too well.

You wouldn't harm yourself for anyone,

not even for your daughter.

You even hired an acting coach for your daughter,

you could have taught her yourself.

If I hadn't watched you grow up,

I would've been fooled by you.

Every decision has been your own choice.

- Go! - Let me go.

Let me go!

Recently, adoption demand in Europe is soaring.

The cost per adoption has exceeded $50,000.

We must increase our supply.

Where do we find so many orphans?

Those born into unfortunate families, we're actually helping them.

Who is an orphan,

that's for us to decide.

You have a hold over all of the top guys.

I'll find more kids,

send them to the island,

swap them out regularly,

and sell them gradually.

This is the Maritime Security Agency.

The Coast Guard has caught up. What do we do?

There are still "goods" on board.

Hello, boss.

Can't run away.

Can you get rid of them?

I can't.

You are on your own.

Give me the remote.

Hand it over!

Your conviction is remarkable,

shifting the entire blame on me.

The 23 children died in your hands!

Wearing Buddha beads…

To feign conversion?

Stop the hypocrisy.

We're human traffickers, who sell children.

You would never sell yourself

for your child.

I'm making the decision for you now.

I'll count to three.

If you don't blow up the ship, I'll kill you!

And then blow them up.

One…

Two…

I wasn't wrong about you.

You're more ruthless than I am.

You know how to write the report.

Zhang blew up the hostages,

injured the family, and I shot him dead.

Such a deep sea, it can swallow any story.

Your wife was also bombed by my guy.

I didn't want to kill you. Killing a cop is such a hassle.

But you just had to interfere.

We're human traffickers, who sell children.

You would never sell yourself

for your child.

I'll count to three.

If you don't blow up the ship, I'll kill you.

One…

Two…

This case is important to me.

Officer Mendoza.

You think I don't know what you're up to?

You resigned from NICA. It was part of your plan.

Su'e

wouldn't want you risking your life.

She wouldn't want the truth of the 619 incident

to remain buried at sea.

This world has too many secrets

that remained secret forever.

I want everyone to know the truth,

even if it's just this once.

If the plan fails,

this will be our last hope.

Killing your daughter with your own hands…

How does it feel?

Tingting is still alive, right?

You have no right to ask about Tingting.

She already knows what kind of a dad you are.

She knew you chose to blow her up.

She knew how hypocritical you are.

You pressed the detonator with your own hand.

You killed your own daughter.

You let her blow up…

Just like my son.

He died without a proper burial…

His ashes couldn't even be found.

Your son was there too.

Who on earth are you?

We are the parents…

Whose families were destroyed by you.

You must be Li Huiping, right?

Who are you?

Officer Liang hadn't just helped you.

Before,

we used to worry

our kid was too quiet.

I never expected she'd be so chatty every day.

She did all the talking for her father.

Uncle, you should consider this package.

It's $20 cheaper, and it includes a lot of data.

The internet is fast. It's the bestseller in our store.

Trust me, it's awesome.

Niuniu.

Mommy!

Niuniu had a birthmark on her body.

I told her, "No matter where you go,

Mom will always find you."

Niuniu!

But I still lost her in the end.

I really hate myself.

I shouldn't have taught her to be so kind.

Niuniu.

I can't bear going to supermarket now.

I'm terrified of seeing his favorite chocolate there.

I haven't seen his body with my eyes.

Today, we have a new friend.

Officer Liang had also helped her before.

My son's name is Qiuqiu.

I'm a single mother.

The last time I saw Qiuqiu…

Was when he accompanied me to an audition.

That day I bought him a pair of shoes with lighting pieces.

He loved it so much.

He was with me,

jumping up and down,

cheering me up.

Qiuqiu?

Qiuqiu?

Qiuqiu?

I miss him so much.

I really miss him.

Officials reported

that the victims killed in the 619 incident were refugees,

not your children.

Do you believe that?

Last night, I dreamt of Su'e again.

She was wheeled out of the delivery room.

It was a baby girl.

We both like girls.

We heard that eating apples helps to have a girl.

In my dream, she held an apple in each hand.

I asked her,

"Our daughter is out already, why do you still eat apple?"

She was smiling, just looking at me.

I believe in the past three years, you all had similar dreams.

Staying in the dream with your kid,

rather than waking up.

Among us,

some left,

some had children again.

Some went abroad,

and some chose to become a monk.

I respect their choices.

Now, only we remain here.

It's time to do what we must do.

What was the plan you mentioned earlier?

I found some clues in Su'e's cloud storage.

Following these clues, I tracked down these individuals.

The forces we're up against…

Are incredibly powerful.

A single report,

and several newspapers

completely covered up the truth of our children's death.

All this time, the so-called truths were fabricated by them.

We can't let this happen again.

This plan might take us many years,

demand us to live a different life.

We'll pay dearly,

possibly with our lives.

Will you join me?

In life, we all may play a role sometimes

but not convincingly enough.

This time,

it's the biggest act for us all.

We must succeed,

we cannot fail.

We are neighbors, we've met before.

Lu, mute, is the victim's gardener.

I'm her teacher. He is her father.

Daddy! Help me!

Ms. Li, did I perform well?

Can this be sent to the casting?

This is the last place she was seen. The surveillance was blocked by a balloon.

Pipi! Come here!

Failed.

What's the matter?

- Hello? - Lu messed up.

We must find Shi Fu'an now!

Did you catch the wrong person?

It could not be Shi.

Then who could it be?

Answer correctly, and I'll give you the location.

I don't know.

Where is my kid?

Stop the game!

Listen to me, go and find Daddy.

Daddy!

I have been bailed.

He made me do it.

Don't blame me.

Why does he want to kill you?

Daymond wants me dead.

Ratting out Daymond is the only way to save Tingting.

See that?

Your daughter is on a ship not far from you.

We just want to know the truth.

Didn't you do it for money?

Why did you blow up those children?

The 619 incident was an accident.

The cops were chasing us too closely that day.

We couldn't get rid of them.

We had to take a detour.

We took the "CO2" route.

Mommy.

When we arrived at the pier,

we found all the children were dead.

Box them and throw into the ocean.

Load the bombs on the ship.

I'm sorry.

Buddha will not forgive you.

Neither will we.

I'm sorry.

This world has too many secrets

that remained secret forever.

I want everyone to know the truth,

even if it's just this once.

Daddy!

Why do you arrest my daddy?

Tingting!

Daddy!

Where have you been?

Are you abandoning me?

Let me go!

Daddy!

Daddy, I want to go home.

Daddy!

Daddy!

It's my karma.
