That you're not allowed To have

Because they'll eat All your corals.

In the wild, puffer fish chew On coral reefs

To file their beaks down And as a source of food,

So in an aquarium, We don't include them

With any live coral pieces.

I promise whatever We give you is

Gonna be really, really cool.

That tank is crazy, man. Look at all those acropora.

There's acroporas Everywhere.

So, you basically have Everything from, like,

An oregon tort acropora, Pink lemonade,

They all have Different names.

I mean, did you buy them This big? Were they frags?

No, they all started off As little tiny frags,

Like booger-sized frags,

And I've grown them into What they are today.

So, this is about Six years worth of growth.

Some of those colonies in there Are almost two feet long.

Wow. That's crazy man.

You've got some Awesome stuff in there.

The most expensive Fish we have in here,

And some of the nicest ones, Are the gem tangs.

There's one over there.

You have everything From lineatus wrasse.

Yeah, those guys Are nice.

Kingtail wrasse Over here.

You have pretty much fish From all around the world.

So, it's like our own Little ecosystem.

Obviously, there's not much I could really help you with

From that aquarium.

Exactly, just acroporas That are similar to what I have.

Basically, we can make The insert removable.

For one of my favorite Mixed-martial-artists,

I just want it to look Like mother nature

Just jumped into my gym And camped out.

And we're building a tank For our buddies

Sarah and jimmy as they're Hosting a party during macna,

A huge aquatic event Taking place here in vegas.

We'll fill the seamless 8-foot tall cylindrical aquarium

With 300 gallons of saltwater And a custom removable insert

Featuring replicas of their Treasured acropora corals.

We'll top it off With a host of saltwater fish,

Including puffers, Butterfly fish,

And angel fish.

Once we add sleek Matching cabinetry,

Their entryway will transform Into a grand entrance.

Wayde: the acrylic arrived For urijah faber's tank.

Chewy's already been cutting it, And the sides are already glued.

Jimmy and sara's Cylinder arrived, too.

What are you doing, the dishes? Why the gloves?

This is urijah faber's Live rock.

Ohh.

So, we just got a couple Of these pieces in.

So, I'm getting it All ready.

What do you mean You're getting it ready?

Okay, so, when live rock comes In, it comes in uncured.

It comes in With a lot of algae on it.

Smell that.

Smell it? Smell it.

Smells like Rotten eggs.

Okay, so, what's happening is There's a lot of bacteria

And things That are on this

That there's algae, Things that are gonna die off.

What you're smelling Is the die off.

Yeah, clearly!

It's dying for sure!

Brett: these pieces of live rock Have been sustainably farmed.

We've been keeping them moist To preserve them.

This is a piece That's been sitting in here

For like A month or two.

Smell that. Okay.

No smell. Right.No smell.

So, that's Already cured.

But what we're gonna do is we're Gonna let all this live rock

Sit in here and cure For the next couple weeks,

And then we'll be able To utilize it

So it's inside The aquarium

So we can put fish And corals in right away.

So, do we know what Kind of corals he wants?

We can go check out What we have,

Maybe send him Some photos.

I told him we were gonna Get back to him.

Let's go check out The coral.

Yeah, what is that one?

It's called A waving hand coral.

Looks exactly Like that.

It looks like Someone's waving.

That's how It got its name.

I love it.

It's also known As the anthelia polyp.

When I look At live reefs,

You don't think they're alive, But they arealive.

Yeah, well, All the coral and everything

Is an actual organism.

These coral actually Get fed, too, as well.

I know, they eat. They literally eat.

You can feed Some of them shrimp.

The tentacles come out And actually grab them

And actually suck Them into their mouth.

It's crazy 'cause You don't think of that

When you look at it.I know. It's pretty crazy.

But they are beautiful,

And I love how this one Just flows so smoothly.

Yeah. It's pretty.

All right, The next coral,

I think urijah's Really gonna love.

Which one is it?

We're bringing down The hammer

With the hammer fist, The hammer coral.

You see how the tips Look like little hammers?

These guys come from Indonesia or australia.

And what's really cool is At night, they actually glow.

Who wouldn't want Those in their tank?

Hammered it is!

You know Which one I know?

See that green guy Right above?

That's The octopus coral.

Yeah, close But no cigar.

This is called Octospawn.

Okay, octospawn!

But that's where It gets its name.

Like, see the dots? Yeah.

So, they basically resemble The suction cups

On an octopus. They do.

Octospawn it is, I guess.

So, we got the waving hand, We got the hammer,

And we got the octospawn.

The next coral, I have A few things in common with.

It's laid back And good-looking.

It's the finger leather.

Just touch it with Your finger and rub it,

You will not hurt it.Okay. Okay.

Look -- it's moving Its fingers.

Oh, it is moving!

See?

Feels like Leather, right?

Yeah, It feels rubbery.

So, I like how they come Like very, almost white.

Is there any other Colors they come in?

They come in purple, pink, Green, and yellow.

That's a vast array, Though.

That is a vast array.

Puffers tend to Chew up the reef,

So it's not good to have A reef tank with a puffer.

But a regular aquarium, We could make look like

A reef aquarium, Synthetically, you know,

All the corals can look real, But they're not.

I used to have a puffer Like 30 years ago,

And those little rubber balls I used to bounce,

And it went In the tank once.

The puffer grabbed it, Spit it out of the tank.

From that point on, We used to play ball.

It was really cool.

I want to play ball With a puffer fish.

All right, is there Anything else besides puffer?

I was hoping that I could get my logo

In the center of it.

They won't bother Them because, well,

No, that's the things That's cool about them.

I figured, hey, regal -- the Dude's a king amongst fighters,

Typically, most angels In the wild

Are about 30 years.

Do fish tend to live As long in a tank

As they do In the wild?

If the tank is Well-maintained, yes.

Sometimes, in The tank environment,

They'll outlive what Their natural life expectancy

Because they don't have The predators.

Right, I was gonna say. It's a little bit safer.

Yeah, and if they do get sick, There's someone there

To take care of them And doctor them.

See, so, We're doing a good thing

By giving these guys New homes.

Oh, yeah.

Right here, this is The broomtail wrasse --

Cheilinus lunula.

On his cheek, that Little crescent moon

Is what gives him The name lunula.

Oh, yeah. Look at his teeth!

He takes crabs and Other crustaceans apart

With those big teeth.

I noticed on one side On the back of his tail,

He has the black dot.

Is that like The fake-eye things?

Yeah and That'll go away.

The older they get 'cause they don't need

The protection, right?

He's gonna have Far less predators

The bigger he gets.

It's amazing.

It's 44 in diameter, 46 tall, 300 gallons.

And you also wanted to Have a custom coral insert

That you can actually Take out of the aquarium,

Clean it, service it, And then put it back in.

You guys delivered.

What we did is we made The top completely open

So that you can actually Pull the insert out

Whereas normally, We would put braces.

This tank actually Has no braces.

Brett has the braces.That's right.

Yeah, brett's Got the brace.

We knew how important It was for you to have

Some of the corals Look like the corals

Inside the reef tank,

So we actually molded them Off of some real acropora.

Oh, wow. I feel like I'm in the ocean.

Look at that puffer!

Oh, my gosh. A golden puffer. That is beautiful.

We know You know your fish,

And you could probably Name everything in here,

But overall, You have 25 fish in here.

So, you've got The humu trigger,

And these guys make, Like, a little whirling sound

Throughout the aquarium, So you might hear them, too.

And over here, you can see you Have an actual real starfish.

Oh, man, it's beautiful -- An african star.

We wanted to do something Extra special for you,

So we pulled A few strings,

And we got you A conspicillatus angel.

Oh, my god! It's a conspic!

Off of real coral, And then they're hand painted.

Wow. And you guys Did an amazing job.

And inside you Have over 35 fish.

So, you were all excited to get Puffer inside the aquarium,

So we actually Got you two puffers.

We got you A mappa puffer,

And we also got you A porcupine puffer.

And these guys are gonna Make great tank mates.

That's awesome, man.You have a koran angel.

He has the urijah faber color Around him.

These guys can live Over 21 years,

And they grow up to 15 inches In the wild.

Oh, wow.

Who's the yellow guy? Is that an eel?

Yeah. That's A yellow headed moray.

The girls saw it, And they actually said

They had to get it.

That is so cool.

And that guy's gonna be About 30 inches.

Wow. This is crazy.

That eel's going nuts in there. What's he doing?

He's the referee. He's running around the tank.

[ laughs ] He looks kind of Dangerous, elusive --

Like I like my fighters.

Specifically For him to hide?

Sometimes, if you have a spot, They'll hide forever.

So, you want at least Have them come out.

You don't want too much.

Yellow tangs.Those are yellow tangs.

Yeah, you see That white thing on it's side?

Those are actually Little razors. They're scalpels.

So, they do this When they're swimming,

They hook you to get rid of the Other fish -- leave me alone.

That's one of Their defense mechanisms.

Like, you go in the ring, This is your defense,

That guy, the puffer, Blows up,

Those have The little razor blades,

The eels have teeth.

Each thing has It's own little defense.

Bunch of fighters In here.

That's gonna be The boss of the tank.

My buddy jimmy And his wife, sara,

Got an 8-foot-tall aquarium In their new home's entryway.

At 3,000 pounds, This cylinder tank is filled

With vibrant saltwater fish

Including a super-rare Conspicillatus

And features a removable, Colorful coral insert.

This in-home aquarium Is sure to impress any guests

That visit their home.

And for ufc hall of famer Urijah faber,

We built an 8-foot-long aquarium In his training facility.

Weighing in At almost 5,000 pounds,

This 500 gallon tank is home To dozens of saltwater fish,

Including a pair Of prized puffer fish

And a yellow headed moray eel.

We created a custom logo insert As the center piece,

And with it being Viewable from two sides,

This aquarium will surely land A one-two punch with gym goers.
