You know, obviously, for me, Growing up in hawaii,

Having the ocean surrounding me All my life --

Growing up, I used to Go diving with my uncles.

I remember going in the ocean And seeing certain coral,

Certain fish.

And for me, I want it really to hit home.

Living in vegas now -- There's not much water.

Yeah, it's all desert.

Yeah, not at all.

So, I definitely want Some water in my life.

And I want to be able to walk Into my home

And see something that reminds Me of hawaii.

And more importantly For me,

My little kids, They're all about fish.

They had the opportunity To do some snorkeling.

And now it's like, "I want fish. I want fish. I want fish."

An all-star And a fish lover.

Yeah, my hero.

Have you guys decided Where you want the aquarium?

Well, we kind of scanned The house,

And the only area Is here.

We never really could figure out What to do with this area.

It's like lost space. Exactly.

A really cool cylinder tank Going up would be really cool.

Brett: how tall Do you want it to go?

Do you want it To be real tall?

It would be cool if you could Walk up the stairs

And see it All the way up.

I think it would be so cool if I was, like, "Hi" to this fish

And "Hi" to that fish All the way up.

We'll make it between 7 and 8 feet tall.

That's pretty awesome. So, why do you guys want An aquarium?

I had A fish tank growing up.

I went fishing at My grandparents' place

And caught a little bluegill, A real, real small bluegill.

I had the bright idea Of bringing it back

And raising it In my fish tank.

And I guess it was probably Six months or a year later,

I went back And turned it back loose.

He likes cars and fish. He's a man after my own heart.

[ chuckling ] My first "Rehab," I guess you could say.

Do you have any idea where You guys want the aquarium

Or what you guys Are looking for?

We do.

We're looking for something In the entryway here.

We'd like to maybe Kind of do a reception desk

And kind of incorporate the tank To the desk somehow.

Oh, a desk aquarium. We can do that.

This is gonna have An animal theme.

It's also gonna have A car theme.

It's definitely saltwater, Okay?

The tank cannot slide And go around it.

It has to be lifted up And brought in.

We're one big team. We're gonna have to do it.

A staircase cradles the tank From its base to the top

When it comes to getting The tank into place.

The inside will be teeming with Coral and fish native to hawaii,

Bringing a piece of maui To las vegas

So, shane and his family Will feel right at home.

Wayde: everyone started to work On these two tanks right away,

Acrylic, stand, and plumbing.

Is under a time crunch For the grand opening.

And the most time-consuming task Is to build the insert,

And that's up to redneck.

We were running like A well-oiled pit crew, but...

But it's a major change.

From salt to fresh?

They want the tank

To look like the bodies of water Near the ranch,

And corals don't live In a freshwater environment.

We can't use it. It just wouldn't look right.

With a freshwater insert, We need to use rock and wood,

So that means We got to start all over.

We'll hide the plumbing And filtration along the sides

And trick this aquarium out With custom logos and inserts

That represent all the animals You find there.

Is sure to get us The checkered flag

When we show it off In a few weeks.

With our builds Moving along nicely,

Wayde and I are Checking in on the tank

The acrylic came out of the oven And was molded into a cylinder.

Look how tall this is. It is tall.

Man, you got to sand The whole inside, the outside.

What about the overflow? It's right over here.

The overflow box helps Cycle water inside the tank.

Normally, we hide it With coral and polygen,

But this tank comes With some unique challenges.

The tank's so narrow this way And it's so tall --

We're gonna put the coral insert Directly onto this overflow.

Keep it tight, right?

That's what I'm saying -- So the fish can swim around it.

And he also said he wants Nothing in the tank but maui.

Well, did you tell redneck That it's got to be all maui?

I asked you to tell him.

Are you telling me You never did?

So, if you dove In the waters of maui,

The corals that you see Is going in this tank.

So, what corals grow In maui?

There's a lot Of sea squirts.

That's what she'd be, A sea squirt.

I was doing A little bit of research,

And they say that Inside some of the waters,

They actually have Active volcanos

That are actually underwater -- Yeah, gas-releasing.

How cool would it be, dude, If we do some kind of, like,

Maybe some bubblers or Something underneath the sand?

Something cool that would Give it some bubble effect.

Releasing gas?

That's something You're pretty good at.

So, we're heading out To check on denny.

He's supposed to be making The animals for rescue ranch.

So, we could put a couple Of band-aids on it.

These animals were rescued From a zombie apocalypse.

Denny's world Is a dark place.

Good thing the guys Weren't here to see this.

Let's mix up some resin And pour it in there,

And that'll be that. Gloves.

We're using Smooth-on smooth-cast 300.

It's fast. It's an Easily paintable surface.

It's gonna sink. It's not gonna float.

And most importantly, It's fish-safe.

Look at that. Perfect.

How fast till it sets?

Oh, you're spilling it, Agnes.

How am I spilling it?

It's kind of magic.

What I'm gonna do is say "Abracadabra."

We're gonna pull a bunny Out of the mold.

We cover it up -- So, we make a tent.

Basically, yes.

And on the bottom Is hawaiian sand.

It's hawaiian black sand.

You have custom red L.E.D. Lights with bubbles.

It gives you That gas effect

As you're swimming around The volcanoes under the water.

Brett: all the tips and All the corals and everything

Are actually painted With glow-in-the-dark paint.

So when you shut the lights At nighttime,

All the tips and All the things of your corals

Are gonna glow amazingly.

That's great.

You have about 50 fish in here. They all come from hawaii.
