And so for us,

The focal point of our lobby.

We don't have a lot of room
On the sides

'cause we got to have patients

So we were thinking about
Something maybe cylindrical,

And we kind of banged our heads
Together and said,

"What are we gonna be able to do
That kind of looks medical?"

So we thought,

"Why not a big syringe
With a needle on it?"

'cause people
Are scared of needles,

So we want
To try to do something

That maybe
Won't make them so scared.

It's a cool idea
To do that here.

I'd help you design it, but
I'm a little scared of needles.

You're scared of everything --
A needle, work, snakes.

So, what we're thinking is we
Want to go old-school with this.

We don't want, you know,
Like a new-looking syringe.

We want 1950s,
Vintage syringe

With the actual loops
Where the fingers go.

So we can probably
Do something old-school.

We'll now fit an 1,100-gallon,
Cylindrical tank

With a facade in the style of
A vintage syringe.

Altogether, it'll be a whopping
13 feet from base to tip.

We don't have the room
Underneath the stand,

So we'll set up
A remote filtration room

In a storage area.

The coral insert will make
The fish feel at home,

But to make the docs
Feel at home,

We'll hand-craft
Some fish-friendly organ props,

Including
A simulated beating heart,

Which really
Brings the tank to life.

Back in vegas,
We need to agree on the design

For the tank
Between our offices.

We each made a sketch,

So I want to see
If we can come to a compromise

So I can start the build.

So the finger loops on the base
Have to be perfect.

Out of something stronger.

This is a family medical
Practice,

And there's probably gonna be
A ton of kids there,

And they're gonna want
To grab on it

And pull it and hang on it.

We have to make it
Strong enough

That it mounts to this,

That the kids
Can't break it off.

We can roll
Some flat-bar aluminum,

And then I'll make the rings
Out of aluminum.

We can bolt these
Right in place.

I think aluminum would
Be good for that.

That's not a bad idea.

This way,
We know it's strong.

It's gonna look good.

So we got the tip of the needle.

The sides of the syringe.

And the top,
What we plan on doing,

We're gonna have the needle

We don't want to have
Any moisture,

Any heat buildup underneath

If there's no ventilation in
The tank and moisture builds up,

You could have mold buildup.

It can warp.
It can cause a lot of issues.

We'll have two drop-in panels
Here with ventilation.

Inside of one big fish tank,
And they'll all line up.

And went back and sculpted
A heart out of clay,

Molded and casted it
Out of silicone.

And because we wanted
Some kind of an action here,

I went ahead and added light,

So we got
A boom-boom, boom-boom.

All right, so, here's
What we got going on, guys.

Basically, we've got this kidney
That we need to make a copy of.

So, I put this inside of here.
I made this little box.

What we're gonna do is we're
Gonna mix this alginate

With some water
And pour it in there.

All right.

Once it solidifies,
We'll take out the clay kidney,

And we can pour the dragon skin.

Isn't it neat?
Brett: yeah.

It just gives it
A little more life.
