There is no jurisdictional
nexus for these charges.

The victims were killed here.

They're dead, because the
design of Mr. Weber's gun

made it attractive
to Mr. Trope.

And his marketing practices as good
as put it in Mr. Trope's hands.

you're trying to use my court
to make social policy.

And my interpretation of the
statute doesn't permit it.

You don't have the authority
to bring these charges.

In their infinite wisdom,

the Appellate Court
has overturned my ruling,

and remanded
this case for trial.

burden of proof.

that redesigning the
slide bolt of a Rolf Nine

to the manufacturing cost

of a weapon that sells
for 900 dollars.

Mr. Weber knew

that his gun

of being converted

permutation of it,

when somebody profits from it.

But tempted though I may be,

putting Mr. Weber in jail
won't end the carnage.

ails the human heart,

use this court

to raise a lynch mob.
