So it's day 27 now, and this has been a great cleanse for me,

for the mind and body.

I've lost a bit of weight, and it feels good.

I'm playing the game the same way I tackle a surfing event,

being patient, you need to wait for that really good wave,

and have the killer instinct to strike and get it.

You can even swim around us and just see if there are fish.

Such a nice experience to go out

and do something together as a tribe

This is one of the aspects of Survivor that I love.

It feels like we're taking a pause

from the vicious gameplay and the backstabbing

to fend for ourselves and truly survive.

But, as soon as we get back to camp, the game is back on.

Yes, good enough.

We had the night off from tribal council again last night,

which is always good and bad.

It's good because I didn't go home.

But it's bad because I didn't get the chance

to try to send someone home.

It turns out I'm not as good at throwing challenges

as I am at winning challenges.

Luckily, though, my tribe have no idea.

On a scale of one to clueless,

I want to say my tribe is around about a ten.

Far as what I could see, I thought Andy was throwing the challenge.

It was super visible.

Think he wanted to throw it,

and potentially send myself and David home.

I don't know if I'm the luckiest man on Earth or what,

but I'm still here!

And now I want revenge.

Andy is a slimy little greasy snake boy,

and I'm going to get him.

Day 27, I've survived, again, another hectic Tribal Council.

And my best friend, Matt, is gone.

Which, sort of, sucks.

It means that I'm the last old Contender left on this tribe.

People like you in this game are unkillable.

They think I'm going, I'm not going anywhere.

I've made the old Champions look foolish,

let's be honest here.

Not only did I play an idol that they had no idea about,

but we also suckered Janine into playing her own idol,

which means that she's threatened by me.

I know she is.

- You were crying, but what...? - I did cry a little bit.

Despite it being five old Champions to one me,

I've got a chance in this because I'm better than them.

What I need to do right now

is to get in with the most dangerous person in this game.

It is fun to actually see these old Champions squirm for once,

in the whole time that they've been here.

It amuses me to get them all worked up

because they've fallen into my trap.

I know, like, it's been the rockiest of starts,

but my pitch is that I'm more valuable for you,

going into that Merge, than some of your other Champions.

I definitely do feel like it's you and me

that are actually playing the game properly,

and that's who I want to play with.

Survivor is exactly like running a business,

and, like business in the outside world,

it's all about making the right moves at the right time.

It's a percentage game.

You go, "OK, what's a percentage of me getting through on this option?

"And what's what the percentage of me going through on another option?"

It's a choice which you think is most likely to get you to Merge.

Harry's a great player,

and he's super smart in this game and understands it.

And I think that he can be loyal to you

if your interests are aligned.

One thing I can say is that relationships do develop

and trust does develop and, you know, and respect develops.

We kind of know the devil we're playing with.

I know that I've got the numbers to probably wipe Harry out,

and he knows that too.

But I actually think that it's smarter to hang on to him

because he's a smart player.

I think that if anyone's likely to get through, you'll find a way.

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.

For today's challenge,

first, you're going to race across a series of obstacles.

One of you will then attempt to land monkey fists,

creating guide ropes for the tribe to cross balance beams.

Two tribe mates will then unscrew a box of puzzle pieces

and use the pieces inside to build a ladder.

First tribe to get up the ladder and light their fire wins immunity,

safe from the vote.

Losing tribe, you're going to join me at Tribal Council

where one of you will become the 12th person voted out of this game.

Champions, you got an extra play.

You're going to need to sit someone out.

Cannot be the same person in back-to-back challenges.

that correspond specifically with two poles on the ramp.

That means they only fit in one position.

- Alright, here we go. Go! - The Champions have all their pieces.

Just start trying them.

Baden trying the first piece.

Remember, you can twist them around too. You can switch.

- Now? - Yeah, always switch.

- Try it two ways. - It's way too short.

You need to build that ladder from the bottom up,

one piece at a time.

See, the alliance, at the moment, has been the three girls,

Ross and myself, with Harry on the bottom.

I reckon we save most of it for roasting.

Right now, it's five Champions

against one Contender, so it's an easy vote.

You know, my core alliance currently is the three girls,

myself, Pia and Abbey.

who is a physical player,

and then Roscoe, who is the loose cannon.

But then there's Harry.

You've got to give credit where credit's due,

and Harry is a bigger player than we thought.

He understands the game.

He knows how to get to the end by being smart.

Like in business, it's all about choosing

the right people to go to the end with,

and I want to go to the end with strong players,

so my plan is to convince Pia and Abbey

to work with Harry going forward.

You know, I'm thinking about Merge, and Simon's a huge physical threat.

Harry's played some pretty smart moves.

He is a finding-idol genius,

and when someone's in front of you like that,

you think, "Maybe we could use him.

"Maybe it's a good idea to go into Merge

"working with someone like Harry."

Like, we need to start looking ahead and going,

It's a crazy thing how quickly Survivor can change.

Days ago, I was mortal enemies with Janine and Pia.

They wouldn't listen to me whatsoever.

But all of a sudden, they pull me in for a pitch.

Like, it's the fruition of all of my plans.

You are smart enough to know

that what we're saying is actually completely logical.

It is logical.

It's a great feeling because, like, all of a sudden,

the power's back,

and you've actually got a shot in this game.

And we're hoping that...

Actually, I am hoping that, because this is a Hail Mary,

um, that there's a bit of loyalty that comes with that, that we're going...

- Yeah. - Yeah.

I'm down for any plan that involves me staying.

- Yeah. - I think I do add value.

And I 100% understand, like,

there's going to be that distrust until I can vote with you.

Totally. If it goes well tonight, it's a whole new relationship.

I don't fully trust Janine and Pia,

but I desperately want to make the Merge,

and I think that's what's coming.

that has really lifted the morale of the tribe.

I didn't think I'd be so emotional saying goodbye to Ross.

You know, I've only known him for 29 days,

but you get very close out here.

And I'm sad for Ross

because he was actually playing a really great game.

I've lost a really important member of my alliance,

as well as losing a friend.

I'm absolutely devastated I have to go home,

'cause I wanted to go all the way.

I've done some of the most physically demanding things in life,

like I like to surf the biggest waves in the world.

I survive these 80-foot waves on my head.

But this Survivor experience is another level,

and I'm glad I've experienced it.

I felt like a provider for our tribe.

You know, I kept the frickin' fire going for 28 days!

You know, I didn't lie or cheat in the game.

I was honourable. I've made lifelong friends.

I hope Lukey wins.

He helped me, he educated me,

and I reckon we could have gone all the way together.

I hope he wins it for his family.
