Original subtitles

Previously on Australian Survivor...

..the gloves were off at the Contenders camp.

I'm ready to take on the Godmother.

She'd better watch out.

Janine was on the warpath.

Every single person now has me pegged as the Godmother.

At the Champions camp...

I've been gunning for Dave

ever since I realised that was a fake idol.

..Shaun's arrival threw everything upside down.

It went from Luke and I running the tribe

to Shaun suddenly taking over the entire frontier.

Shaun was out for retribution.

First chance I get to take him down, he is done.

And when the Champions lost immunity...

..there was one man in the firing line.

I've got to get rid of Dave.

The plan was simple...

I know that Dave has an idol,

so the plan is convince Dave and Luke the target's Hannah.

..and it looked like they were playing right into his hands.

Oh, yeah.

But...

..Andy had his own plan.

Oh, damn, boy!

And at a shock tribal council...

There was a lot of information coming my way this afternoon,

but I know I'm not going home.

..Shaun's blindside unravelled before his eyes...

If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and you want to play it,

now would be the time to do so.

You didn't think that you were going to get the king of the jungle out

that quick, did ya?

..and Hannah got caught in the crossfire.

The tribe has spoken.

15 are left.

Who will be going home tonight?

_

That was crazy.

- OK. - That was an absolute train crash.

Let's get the fire up and get the rice on

and then it's story time.

I don't think anyone's gonna be telling stories, Baden.

Tribal council. Well, two idols were played, which was pretty hectic.

I had no idea Luke had that idol, so that was a big shock.

Pretty funny, though, considering none of us

were even putting his name down anyway,

so he's played it for no reason.

But I guess, better that it's gone.

I had a feeling you had an idol.

- Did ya? Did ya? - Yeah.

Did you? I didn't.

- Oh, really? - Yes.

I voted for Daisy tonight

and had things gone to plan,

Daisy would have gone home instead of Hannah.

But, unfortunately, I'm dealing with a fricking clown show.

Luke and Dave are idiots.

I literally threw them a lifeline

and they castrated themselves with it.

They now have two against five and zero idols.

It took me 69 days in Survivor

to finally get an idol,

and play it like that?!

What the...

That's some bull!

Everyone got in my head.

Dave went all, like, rogue and stuff,

and... I got nervous.

I'm like, "I'd better play my idol."

But waaaah!

I didn't wanna play my idol like that.

That's not me, you know?

- And nothing happened! - Me too!

I think that barring anything going completely wrong,

I think, you know, the boys are probably on the outer now

and it should be a straightforward vote next time.

Crazy, eh?

- Yeah, that's it. That's all it is. - So much shit, bro.

Far out. Killing me!

Now it's the comeback. I've gotta somehow come back from this.

I've gotta pull a rabbit out of my arse.

Far out. Yeah, we've definitely got work to do now.

Woke up this morning, another stunning day in sunny Fiji.

I mean, I know it's very Kumbaya,

but I love seeing the sky.

I mean, sometimes, you just sit and want to shut your eyes

and just, you know, soak in the sun

and sometimes, you just want silence.

That's the nature of this gorgeous place.

And it's one of those beautiful paradise days in Fiji.

Oh, look.

- Look how many fish there are. - Oh, there are so many fish.

I'm looking at the David Attenborough experience here

with shells and animals and worms and...

- Oh, it's just... - Yep.

I hit it a few times, but it didn't move.

See, I'll go first.

I'm feeling quite comfortable at the moment,

in terms of my alliance.

You know, I know Janine and Pia like the back of my hand in this game.

You know, they're my girls and, you know,

we've got each other's back.

- Is my hair alright? - Beautiful.

It's gorgeous.

- Still great. - Thanks, mate.

Settle down, fellas.

Stand back.

I'm taken.

And then Roscoe and Simon as well.

Like, I've always played in team environments

and I'm very fortunate to be in a position at the moment

where I still feel like I have a quality team around me.

Look at Sime.

The power certainly lies in the alliance of five

here at Contenders camp,

and to be, you know, feeling quite comfortable

and sitting pretty with my alliance at the moment,

it's a really good position that I've created for myself.

It's not good.

Bad, bad, bad.

The Champions are a really tight-knit group of people.

I think that they've all made a pact

to at least help each other along until merge.

The old Contenders, we all know

that, essentially, if we lose an immunity challenge,

we're just gonna get picked off one by one,

so I want to try and get in with them.

Are you having some you time, or can I have a quick chat?

Yeah, quick chat. Yeah, no worries.

I just wanted to get away from the...

Just wanted to hear some silence.

You know what I mean? Just all the chopping and banging.

- Yeah, fair enough. - Yeah, that's OK.

I mean, Casey's like a little fire ant.

She's just into everyone's conversation

and trying to spread information to everywhere.

And, you know, it's like that little ant. Nee, nee, nee, nee, nee!

I genuinely feel like I could play a good game with you guys.

I think each and every one of you I've had good conversations with.

Yeah.

She talks so much.

I mean, it does ruin the serenity out here

with Casey talking too much.

If you guys are willing to look after me now...

I mean, I don't want to offend the girl at all, but...

..I will 100% do the same.

It's like, "Stop talking. Just give me some peace."

Do you think the girls like you?

Can you feel that? What's your intuition feel?

I don't... Yeah, I think so.

Casey came up to me at the challenge

and said, "I've got the numbers sorted."

But I just keep saying to her... Got the numbers sorted?

- What do you mean? What did she say? - She's like, "I know how we vote.

"We vote blah, blah, blah."

Just the fact that she's got the balls

to tell us how to vote, are you kidding me?

I said to her... I did say, I said,

"We don't really talk strategy until the last minute.

"I don't really know what's going on. I just kind of follow the girls."

"I'm just following my tribe, I don't know.

"But I totally would listen to you guys.

"Like, whatever you want to do."

You're probably the biggest player in here.

You should be an actress. You should.

I will twirl my actual moustache.

Casey's playing really hard and she's not to be trusted,

but sometimes better the devil you know.

So, keep your enemies close.

Day 23.

The numbers after last night now sit at five to two.

So, Luke and I are in big, big trouble.

- Bad yesterday, but, you know... - Yeah, that's it. New day, new day.

I am kicking myself I didn't do Daisy.

Like, Shaun or Daisy, it doesn't matter to me.

Right now, they're the same person.

They're basically, like, frothing all over each other

and they are powerful.

So, to break that up would have been amazing.

I was really hoping Dave wouldn't play that idol last night

because I wanted to send him home.

Blew the game up.

Could have been worse, though.

_

Oh, shit. Busted.

Ooh, Shaun.

I know I've got David vulnerable,

and I want to make him realise that he is on the bottom of the tribe.

So, I want to reveal that he'd sort of stooged me with a fake idol.

Like, if that was planted somewhere and you found that,

what would you think?

- 100%. - Turn it around.

Dave reminds me of a used car salesman.

Left and right, he's making deals,

you know, 'cause it's the end of the financial year.

And he's selling a few lemons, I feel.

I've got a nemesis.

This guy is out to get me and I'm gonna try and get him first.

He's, you know, the one that I want gone more than anything.

Now that I know 100% he knows my game's been fake

and the idol's fake,

I'm not sure we can repair that.

Survivor is a game of luck,

but you've got to make your own luck sometimes.

So, I need to find another idol.

I need two, I need three, four.

I need them all in my possession.

I would not eat for 50 days if I could get my hands on one more idol.

Come on in, guys!

Morning, sunshine.

Good morning, Roscoe.

Contenders, get your first look at the new Champions tribe.

Hannah voted out at the last tribal council.

Matt, you surprised they sent Hannah home?

Hannah was about as useless as a torn ugg boot in most challenges

- so I think it's a pretty smart decision from them. - Ooh.

Wow.

Andy, interesting tribal last night.

Yeah! Last night was fun.

It was fun?

Yeah, I felt like we were getting into it a little more.

Maybe we're warming up. A few of us have only been a few times, so...

Yeah, we're getting into the swing of things.

David, would you classify last night's tribal as fun?

I wouldn't say fun, necessarily.

Uh... Yeah, some games got blown up.

Alright, you guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?

- Yes. - Hell, yeah.

For today's challenge,

one-on-one, you'll race across monkey bars to grab a flag.

If you fall off, you're out of the challenge.

First person to grab the flag scores a point for their tribe.

First tribe to three wins reward.

- Want to know what you're playing for? - Yes.

Winning tribe will get a trip to the Survivor Cinema.

- Oh, yeah! - Whoo!

Complete with all the popcorn and soft drinks you can manage.

- Oh! - Ooh.

For private screenings starring your loved ones.

- Worth playing for? - Yes.

- Oh, my God. - Contenders, you've got an extra player,

you're gonna need to sit someone out.

Cannot be the same person in back-to-back challenges.

- Oh, are you OK? - Yes.

And to make it fair, it has to be a girl today.

Well, there's only me left over here.

Yeah.

- Pia will sit out. - Pia, you're on the bench?

Everyone else, a minute to talk about it, let's get to it.

Alright, Contenders, who are you putting up first?

- Matt. - Go, Matty!

Champions?

Yeah, go for it, Lukey.

Go, Lukey.

Good lad. Good lad.

Age-old matchup,

Matt for the Contenders taking on Luke for the Champions.

Survivors ready?

Go!

Oh,

Luke, in trouble!

- Oh! - Yeah, take your time!

Luke drops in...

What the hell? How did I slip?

- ..opening the door for Matt. - Take your time.

All Matt needs to do is grab that flag.

Strong, strong, strong.

Can he get there?

Kick your feet.

And he does! Scores for the Contenders.

Whoo!

Contenders lead one-zip.

- Good job, Matty. - Ah, there's one.

I really wanna see my family, yeah?

- Yep. Me too. - Yeah, me too.

Alright, next round,

Andy for the Champs is taking on Roscoe for the Contenders.

Don't touch him.

Get him a milk crate.

Ooh!

Come on, Roscoe.

Roscoe hasn't even gotten on the bars yet and he's trying to play dirty.

Roscoe!

Survivors ready?

- Come on, Roscoe. - Come on, Andy.

Go!

That's it, Andy.

Andy has a long reach,

Roscoe's giving him a run for his money.

- He drops in. - Oh.

- Nice and slow, Andy. - That's it, Andy.

Could be an easy win for Andy if he can hold on.

Taking his time.

- Hey. - Ross, don't touch him.

That's it, Andy, you're nearly there!

Oh, Andy, almost slipped, as close as two bars away.

Roscoe, trying to psych him out.

Splashing him with water.

Splash him! Splash him!

Just needs to get to that flag.

And he does!

He takes it for the Champions.

We're tied, 1-1.

- That was very well done, Andy. - Well done, Andy.

Alright, next round is Abbey for the Contenders

taking on Baden for the Champions.

Here we go, Ab.

Alright, we are tied 1-1.

Playing to three.

Survivors ready? Go!

That's it, Baden.

Whoa! Well done, Baden.

Baden's got a long reach and he's whipping across.

Attaboy, Bados!

Abbey's gonna have to pick it up.

Baden surprising everyone.

Takes the point for the Champions.

Champions lead, 2-1.

Baden, the challenge beast.

Champions can smell victory.

I can smell food.

Yeah, it's killing me.

Alright, Contenders, you're up.

- Sime? - Blackie!

Simon.

Davo.

Come on, Dave.

We have Simon for the Contenders taking on David for the Champions.

Champions lead 2-1.

David could win it for them right here.

Simon needs to win this round to keep the Contenders in the challenge.

Need speed, Si.

Both boys hungry for a win.

Survivors ready?

Both boys neck and neck out of the gate

but David has a long reach.

Simon's giving him a run for his money.

Oh!

David going for the win.

And he does it!

Oh, my God!

Champions win reward.

- Got him! - Whoo!

Yeah, well done, guys.

Good on ya, Baden.

- Well done, guys. Well done. - Well done, Matty.

Champions, congratulations.

The Survivor Cinema awaits

but you're gonna need this.

Instructions on how it all works.

- Alright. - Don't read it till you get there.

Head on out, enjoy.

- Thank you, Jonathan. - Thanks, Jonathan.

Movie time!

Finally got that popcorn, hey?

Alright, Contenders, got nothing for ya.

Head on out. Head back to camp.

We won today

but I feel like it's a little bittersweet.

I mean, Pia wants to see her family so bad,

she's been saying that at every reward challenge.

I briefly thought about volunteering to not go

so maybe a couple of them could go

but I just couldn't give up the opportunity

to start looking for an idol.

Because I'm on the chopping block.

The next vote coming up, I'm pretty sure is going my way.

When you're the next person to go,

you've gotta start looking for an idol quick smart.

I am thrilled that we're gonna get all-you-can eat popcorn

and Choc Tops.

I am so hungry.

Rice and beans has been the staple for a very long time.

But most of all, I think I'm gonna get to hear from Mum,

so that's a pretty big deal.

Alright, let's see what this thing says.

"Congratulations on winning a private screening at the Survivor Cinema.

"However...

"..this screening is indeed private.

"Which means that you will be attending one at a time.

Ooh.

"You must now decide on the order that you'll visit the cinema."

Jeez.

Man, in a reward like this,

where they're letting people go down one at a time

to experience something by themselves,

there is 100% going to be an idol or an idol clue in that vicinity.

There's no two ways about it.

People with kids, youse go first, I'm happy to wait for youse.

- Dude, that would be so epic. - 100%, mate.

John kind of makes a suggestion which I'm totally onboard with.

Yeah, I'm onboard with that.

I'm not gonna, like, blitz the food, hey.

Straight off the bat, John hands me the keys to the kingdom.

I'm definitely gonna use this right now.

Like, if I get to see my kids, that'll be epic, man.

OK, so what do we wanna do the order?

One... two, three...

- Me. - Thank you, guys.

Four?

Daisy jumps in, without consulting anyone,

and decides on an order.

An order that gives the biggest threat in the game

first dibs on trying to find an immunity idol clue!

I'll go last.

I decided to go last

just because I thought it was the right thing to do.

- Thank you, guys. - Alright, Dave.

- Alright. - Have fun, brother.

- We'll be waiting. - Yep.

I mean, I could not believe that they sent me first.

Like, I'm in the most trouble in this tribe right now,

it's a no-brainer to boot me out.

I've basically been running roughshod over Shaun's entire game,

I sold him a fake idol, I lied to Daisy.

John-Boy, I owe you, man, I can't believe you let me come in first.

There they are, letting me go first?!

After kind of picking that order, it dawns on me

that there's probably gonna be a clue

hidden in the open-air cinema.

Oh, man, look at this.

Look at this!

Oh, man, I'm so hungry.

Fresh popcorn, that's crazy!

Love Fanta.

This is gonna be so good.

Hi, Daddy. We miss you.

Hey, baby. We miss you so much.

We love you a lot.

I miss my family like crazy.

But...

We just wanna send you all our love from Brooklyn.

Nom, nom.

The hunger's getting to me.

- We're thinking about you all the time... - Oh, popcorn!

..and we're so super proud that you're still in the game.

Um, nom...

Still in the game.

I got popcorn, I got soft drink. I got...

Chocolate drumstick!

..but the most important thing, I have to find a clue, find an idol,

find something.

I mean, at this point, I need a clue more than I need air.

Bit too obvious down here.

We know that you're so super strong...

Yeah.

To keep me in the game, I need something.

Oh, sh...

Oh, they're gonna be stoked I did this.

Yes!

Oh!

Yeah, baby.

Ooh, the Golden God is baaaaaaaack!

Mwah!

Doing the idol dance.

..she's doing that program this week. It's going really well.

- Want another one of these. - Everything here is good.

I'm feeling a little bit better and everything is going well at home.

Don't worry about anything, just focus on what you're doing.

This is the key to taking control back in the game.

We love you so much.

I love you guys so much. I'm back in the game.

This is the number one piece of the puzzle

for me getting back on top in the Champions tribe.

Um, nom, nom...

I hope there is so much popcorn that I go into a coma.

This is definitely my best day in Survivor yet.

Oh, yeah.

Stuff that in the old leather jacket.

Oh, they let me go first.

They let me go first.

So, when I go back to the rest of the tribe,

I'm gonna have to play it pretty cool.

I gotta act a little bit depressed, so I've had some real emotion now.

Saw the screen and, uh, now it's time for me

to pour the waterworks on when I go back to see the guys.

I...

You alright, Dave?

Yeah.

How can a man be so sad if he found an idol, right?

- Oh, mate. - It's awesome.

- You're a champion, mate. - Far out.

Thanks, guys.

- Sorry, Daise. - The kids amazing?

Oh, man, the kids are great.

They had a video, had my wife and my daughter from Brooklyn.

Oh.

I start talking about seeing my daughter, my wife, going...

My wife, she's like, "We're really rooting for you,

"hang in there, keep playing hard."

Oh.

Sorry, dudes.

- Nah, it's all good, bro. - Just breathe, man, yeah.

It was awesome to see Dave and how it touched him.

Like, it really gives you a human side of these people

that you're playing against.

Sorry, dudes.

I was using the Meisner technique, you know,

thinking about a past memory and just bringing it in with me.

Sorry, dudes.

My daughter was like, "Hi, Dad..."

Oh. Give me two seconds.

No, take your time.

I thought that was an Oscar-worthy performance.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying this program. I mean...

They're so dumb.

I'm just too good at this game.

The first thing I notice was the pile of popcorn on the floor,

and then immediately I think that Dave's been really, really hungry.

Hello, friend. How are you?

Seeing Megsy up on the screen, it was like chicken soup for the soul.

The kids miss you so much, and I miss you so much.

And I knew that I would miss you a lot,

but I think I really underestimated

how much I'd miss you.

This is my third take at doing this 'cause I just keep sobbing,

so I'm gonna try and get through this without crying.

I'm definitely aware that there might be a clue here,

but I'm sort of more focused on my video now.

I love you, I miss you. I can't wait to see you again.

Go for it, baby.

It gave me everything I needed...

What a woman.

..for, you know, the rest of the game.

I need this clue.

I know we're getting a video from family, but...

I need this clue.

..the one thing in my head is I need a clue.

Hey, Luke. We are so happy and proud of you

for not only making it to a second season of Survivor...

To be able to see my wife and my sister and my kids,

it's definitely special.

We love and miss you so much,

and the kids are very eager to get the fun parent back.

The reason I want to get further in the game

and the reason I wanted the clue

is for my family.

Otherwise I wouldn't be out here in the stinking jungle,

starving my butt off.

So, make us all proud.

I love you. I hope you win.

I've put my family and my kids on complete backburner

for myself to do this,

so it can come across quite selfish of me.

But in the end, if I do win, it would actually be all for my family.

Hi, Uncle Andy!

- Hi, kids. - We love you!

- I know you do. - And miss you!

Well, I'll see you in a few weeks so...

Think big. Where the hell is this thing?

Hey, Baden.

I was stoked to see my brother holding my cat.

Oh, the cat! Oh, shit.

I mean, we all said, "Let's send the parents first.

"They've got kids back home." I've got a cat back home.

We're all missing you, especially Picanin.

I was eating popcorn from a pile that had made itself onto the floor.

Mmm!

That's OK, I don't care.

I'm gonna make a pig of myself.

Those chocolate ice-creams, like, I was just inhaling them.

Johnny! Here we are.

Mate, right now, I'm in heaven.

Johnny!

Awesome.

Oh, my God.

My first priority was get to that deep-freezer

and pick out a good six Cornettos.

Hi, Daise!

G'day, Daise. How are you going?

We've been asked to send a little video to you. I miss you.

I really miss talking to you, but I'm sucking it up.

It's Mum.

You know you got what it takes, so stay strong, Daise.

Keep believing in yourself.

Take it one day at a time.

News on the home front,

the grass is growing, the cattle are getting fat,

and I love you heaps.

It's so green.

All the rain has made it so green.

The whole property's so green.

This is gonna sound so silly,

but, like, the grass hasn't been that green out there

for a really long time.

There's grass on the ground.

Oh, my God.

- See you later. - Bye. Love you.

This has been the best possible reward

that I could have ever imagined.

Dave said there were some plans disrupted,

so I don't know what went down last night.

Well, we can't let them go back to tribal.

- No, that's right. - We actually can't.

Actually, no, we can't.

We were thinking that David and Luke were fairly solid over there.

You know, there was Contender after Contender going home,

but it was only today was the first time that we saw,

you know, fear in their eyes.

Oh, I thought that's what might have happened.

But I just wonder why our boys wouldn't go for

one of these big boys, like, instead of Hannah.

Well, maybe the numbers... numbers had their...

But if you played an idol...

Doesn't mean you have complete control of the numbers.

Yeah, true. Oh, damn it.

David, obviously, I've got some concerns about

because he's, you know, told a few lies to Abbey, Pia and I.

But, you know, Luke has given me no reason not to trust him.

Luke and David are in serious trouble over there

and that can affect our long-term game.

- So, did Dave play his idol? - Yeah.

- He did? - And he said, "I'm gone." He said, "I'm gone."

Yeah, that's right.

I mean, if they lost, then it would just be one of the boys now.

And then we'll go to merge without the numbers.

Yeah.

I mean, we're a tight five, but you need seven.

No. That hurts.

Yeah.

If we lose immunity, we have the chance

to get rid of one of the biggest threats in this game.

Harry is... you know, if he can lie about his son,

he can lie about anything.

So, Harry, for me, is a snake in the grass.

You've just got to get rid of him.

I honestly never thought

I would be in this position.

Throwing a challenge would go against everything

that I've ever known, you know, in my sporting career.

You go out there to play to win.

But we need to keep our Champions alliance strong

and get rid of Harry.

If we let on to Matt, Harry and Casey

that we're thinking of throwing a challenge...

..oh, my goodness, all hell would break loose.

Nah, nah.

Come on in, guys!

So, the plan at today's challenge is to not win...

..so we can stay in control of this game.

We have to protect Luke and David,

so we can keep our alliance strong.

And this is our chance to get rid of Harry.

OK, you guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?

- Yes. - First things first.

Harry.

Thank you very much.

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.

For today's challenge, in pairs, you'll each stand on a narrow beam

while holding a heavy gutter,

working together to balance a ball in the middle.

At regular intervals you'll move further down the beam,

making it more difficult.

If you step off...

..or the ball drops,

you're out of the challenge.

Last pair left standing wins immunity for their tribe.

Losing tribe will join me at tribal council

where one of you will become the 10th person voted out of this game.

Now, because we have uneven numbers,

Contenders you need to sit out two today.

Champions, you need to sit out one.

Who are they going to be?

Do you wanna sit out?

Didn't you say balance isn't really your thing?

It doesn't look like it's that tough balance though.

- I want to play. - I'm happy to sit out.

- Let's go. - Alright.

- Who are you sitting out? - Casey and Ross.

OK, Casey, Ross, Daisy, you guys are on the bench.

Everyone else, a minute to strategise and we'll get to it.

So, what do you think? I'm keen.

Strongest boys.

I think, yeah, you two need to go together.

I'll go with J again. We did well last time.

- Yeah. - Cool.

- Yeah? - Yeah.

- She's a powerhouse. - I'm not bad actually.

I'll just try and keep up.

We've got this, guys.

For immunity.

Three, two, one.

This challenge is now on.

You need to work together to keep that gutter level.

If your ball drops you're out of the challenge.

Fall off the beam you're out of the challenge.

Every move your partner makes you need to counter.

You just talk to me, Simon. You tell me what you need.

Yeah.

Everyone looking very steady.

You guys have been up there for 10 minutes.

Janine and Abbey, rock-solid.

Simon and Matt, locked and loaded.

Good job, Haz. Keep it up.

- Oh, you too, Pia. - Thank you, Casey.

Alright, in a moment, we're going to transition into the next section.

This is a live transition.

If you drop, you're out of the challenge.

I'm gonna count you in. You have five seconds to make the move.

Five, four...

- ..three... - Ah!

..two... one...

Luke and Andy, their ball is starting to move around.

Just moving it back to the centre, Jonathan.

The second section is half the width of the first one.

Twice as hard.

Pia looking a little unsteady now.

It's best for me if I lean back, like, with straight legs.

Yeah.

I'm just trying to, like, adjust myself to your height.

OK.

Harry trying to compensate.

Just be aware that way, yeah? Lateral movement.

People are starting to look uncomfortable.

Oh, some movement from Janine.

- Luke and Andy are a bit wobbly. - I'm good. Are you good?

- Yeah. - David and Shaun, rock-solid.

Andy and Luke working well together.

Matt and Simon, like statues.

Oh, the ball's on the roll for Janine and Abbey.

- Hey? I can't. - Can you give me a little bit?

OK.

Come on, Janine and Abbey, you can do it.

OK?

Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, it's all good.

Whew!

- OK? - Yep, yep, yep. Yeah, it's all good.

All good. Won't go. Won't go off.

My back's killing me.

- Up, J. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Janine's arms really starting to shake now.

Come on.

No, no, no, no.

Sorry. Sorry.

And that's it.

Janine and Abbey are out of the challenge.

- I couldn't get the angle right. Nah. - Really?

Contenders have two pairs left, Champions have all three.

Oh, it's slipping.

Pia trying to shake out an arm.

- Just don't drop it too far. - Nuh, I won't.

John starting to look unsteady over there.

- Just readjusting. - Give it a spell, mate.

I'm fine.

Sweating.

John sweating profusely.

I think 'profusely' is the word you're looking for.

I told you that sun was going to come into play.

I'm just spewing I haven't got more coconut oil on.

Alright, you guys have been up there for 30 minutes.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Oh, ball is on the move for Luke and Andy.

Nice save.

Get back in the zone, Andy. You've got this, brother.

Come on, Lukey.

By now, you should be feeling it in your backs...

..in your hands.

That final section is very difficult.

It's going to sort everyone out here.

I'm going to give you a count of 10

to transition into the final section.

Keep in mind it is a live transition.

If you drop during the transition, you're out.

- 10... - Shit.

Oh, Pia.

Oh, just like that...

Shit, sorry.

..Pia and Harry are out.

..eight, seven,

six...

Simon and Matt are out of the challenge.

Champions win immunity.

Come here, buddy!

You're alright, guys. You're alright. Heads up. Heads up.

I just lost my footing.

Good job, Harry. Bloody excellent.

- Luke... - Yeah.

..no tribal council for the Champions tonight.

Ya-hoi!

We got 'em.

You guys are safe, no-one going home.

Grab your gear, head on out, enjoy the evening off.

Good game, guys.

Contenders, tribal council for you guys

where one of you will become the 10th person voted out of this game.

Grab your gear, head on out. I'll see you guys tonight.

To me, it actually seemed quite a simple challenge.

The fact that every single old Champion

seemed to go out very easily

was really suspicious.

It's confusing to me because these boys on the other side,

on the Champions, have these huge feet

and managed to stay out there perfectly, all three pairs.

There's a time to lie in Survivor

and there's a time for honesty,

and I'm suspicious of the old Champions

and I think they threw the challenge.

And to be honest, it frightens me.

So, today, at the immunity challenge,

we had to balance a ball on a beam.

Pretty simple game,

and I'm not even good at balance and managed to get to the end step...

..which is making me very suspicious of the old Champions.

You were amazing.

Yeah, you did so well.

I wasn't even tired. Like, I just...

..I just think that thing was thinner than I thought and...

..like, that was numb, that was my numb thing.

I was leaning back with Harry. I was, like...

I couldn't get my back straight.

So, Casey told me she heard the old Champions say

they were gonna throw a challenge,

and I'm just wondering whether they threw the challenge

in order to get rid of me.

Do you reckon they threw it?

I really don't think Simon would ever throw a challenge.

I really don't.

- If they are throwing, that does really suck. - Yeah.

They're... like, they said to me that they're gonna throw it.

Who's they?

Right.

Yep.

Janine, who I like to call the Godmother,

is definitely in charge right now.

She's got it all figured out, she's got all the numbers,

and I know that she's gonna be gunning for me.

We're at a point where we don't have a lot of choice in this.

But I'm never ever going to go down without a fight.

I'm 99% sure they don't know I have an idol.

And, so, if I play the idol and we do three strong,

then we can boot out Abbey.

I reckon this gives us a shot.

It's absolutely a David vs Goliath moment right now.

To take out one of the Godmother's family

would be a huge thing,

not only for me, personally...

..but it rocks this game.

Alright.

Well, we've got the three there,

and cross every single thing that you've got.

- Yep. - And pray.

OK.

- Alright. - Alright?

I feel super vulnerable at the moment.

I think, at this point, the best strategy

is just try and save myself.

As soon as the tribe swap happened,

I decided that it would be within my best interests

to try and join the ex-Champions

by, you know, giving them lots of information.

So, I'm gonna go and tell Abbey and then try and work with them.

What?!

- Oh... - Obviously.

Yeah. OK.

Yeah.

It's bullshit.

They really believe that Harry doesn't have an idol.

No, no, no, no, no.

Yeah.

- OK. - Mm.

The girls are telling me to trust them

and that they trust me

but I just don't know whether I can trust them.

Casey seems to talk a lot

and tells you all sorts of things about all sorts of things.

You don't know what's true and what's not true.

But if I believe what she says,

she'll be voting with us tonight.

We went into the challenge saying that we didn't want to win it

and because we really needed to get the numbers down

and protect our two boys, Luke and David,

but also, now is the opportunity to make a big move

and get rid of Harry.

By trying to give me a name that is quotable, like the Godmother,

what he's doing is he's saying, "This woman's a threat."

He's saying, "You know what we need to do in Survivor?

"We need to kill threats."

So, he's a very dangerous player

and I want him gone.

I don't know if he has an idol or not.

Uh, he may have.

He is a known liar.

But just in case he does have an idol,

we'll have to have contingency, which will be Casey.

We're hoping three on Casey, two on Harry as part of our group.

Yep.

And we're hoping those two put on Harry, which makes four.

We told her she needs to vote Harry.

And we need to talk to Matt about putting it on... Harry.

Which means he'll stay with us.

So, Roscoe, you have that conversation with him.

Get him to say Harry, then.

Yeah, he needs to.

Yeah, I reckon, Roscoe, you both do that.

So, what about tonight?

I'm goin' Harry. That's what I'm doin'.

OK.

- Yeah. - I mean, you could be playin' me, but...

- ..if you are, you're a really good actor. - You've gotta think...

..what option do I have?

I haven't shown you guys loyalty

because there hasn't been an opportunity.

Ross made it very clear that he wants Harry gone.

And he's given me an option to work with the ex-Champions,

which has put me in an interesting position.

I know this is a silly thing

but in my family, a promise is a promise.

Yeah.

The best and easiest option tonight is to vote with the Champions

and they want to put down Harry's name tonight.

But I didn't come here to play it easy.

I didn't come here to play it safe.

I want a Contender to win this game.

I came here with one intention

and that was to make sure a Champion didn't win.

If I vote with the Champions, I show loyalty to them.

But I have an opportunity to finally get rid of

one of these ex-Champions,

and that would be very good for my game.

Right now, the plan is all I have.

If the numbers align with what my gut's telling me,

uh, the plan will go right

and I'll be able to vote out Abbey.

But I've seen Casey have conversations with the old Champions,

as well as Matt,

so... I need to find out if they've turned on me.

Now I really feel like surfing.

Ross is a bit of a cowboy

and tends to say whatever he wants.

So, I think, out of all the old Champions,

he's probably the one that could have the loosest lips

and maybe the one that could give away a few secrets.

So, Ross...

..just one honest answer.

- One honest... Yeah. - One honest answer?

That's what you have to give me.

Yeah.

Is it five strong

or are you, like, with Matt or something?

I'm with everyone.

OK.

That's the honest answer. I'm with everyone.

No, 'cause someone's getting their name written down,

so you're not with everyone.

Oh, no?

Alright.

And you don't have to give me the specific name, but, like...

They've just bought it, hook, line and sinker.

I've basically got them all to put their votes on me.

They've fallen into my trap.

If I play my cards right,

then Abbey is going home.

To take out one of the Godmother's family

would be huge.

So Harry, last time you came here, you were guns a-blazing.

You pointed out Janine as the Godmother...

..of this tribe, calling all the shots.

Is that still the case?

I still think she's in charge.

- Oh, God. - Yep.

Basically, Harry, it was proven, and he admits, right, he's a liar.

Right?

Sometimes.

And so what Harry tends to do is he goes, "I've got a spotlight on me.

"How can I turn that spotlight to someone else?"

And in this game, anyone who is seen to be leading a strategic threat,

is a lot more brighter light than he is.

So, what he's trying to do is go, "Look over here.

"Don't look at me, look over here." So, that's all he's doing.

So, you think you've been unfairly highlighted?

Absolutely. Because it's not true.

So, why do you think he decided to shine the spotlight on you?

Because it's, um... it's believable.

You know, "Oh, she's a business woman, she must be strategic,

"she must be this."

In actual fact, he has no idea how my leadership style is.

In actual fact, I always, as I've mentioned before,

I work with people, they don't work for me,

nor do I work for them.

Are you concerned there could be something afoot tonight?

There's always something afoot. It's Harry.

I like the relationship we have.

- You do? - Yeah.

Janine's fun to play with.

Janine, do you feel the same way?

Uh, probably less so.

It's a love/hate relationship.

Casey, would you agree that Janine is leading the old Champions?

No. Well, not based on the conversations I've had.

I've spoken to each of them individually, so...

Um, yeah, and you know,

they all seem just like a really cohesive group.

And, you know, I think that's the thing

is that we're kind of on the outer

and we're trying our best to, you know, say, "Pick me! Pick me!"

I mean, it's just...

By the end, they have to turn on each other.

That's just the way Survivor goes.

There will be one and I might not be around to see it.

But today, at the challenge,

it was a little bit weird... um, the end result.

I thought it would be a lot closer.

In what way was the end result weird?

Uh, myself and Matt were the last ones on the beam.

Despite me not being very good at balance.

All the old Champions were gone.

Well, Janine and Abbey, you guys dropped out

relatively early in the challenge.

Do you feel responsible for the tribe being here tonight?

No, I personally don't, at all. I think everyone gave their best.

We're working against a whole lot of big muscle guys

with a lot of testosterone.

So, that challenge definitely leaned towards

more of a masculine-type body shape.

- Matt, would you agree? - Uh, I felt I still had more in me.

But there were rumours circulating around camp

that there was possibilities

that the ex-Champions might throw a challenge.

You got wind that that might happen or you suspected it might...?

- I was told that... - Oh, you were told?

..that members of this tribe had said

that they were willing to throw challenges.

Harry, when you say the end was weird,

- that's why you're feeling a bit suspect about it? - I mean...

..that's the connection your mind draws.

Abbey, is it even conceivable for you to throw a challenge?

Well, that's the thing.

The four people to my right are champions, you know, of their field

and they're used to winning.

Yes, they have losses at the same time but...

..they've succeeded because of their wins.

So, just in terms of, you know, the physical strength,

it unfortunately wasn't our challenge today.

So, Harry, what would be the strategy

in even considering throwing a challenge.

I mean, you lose a few challenges here,

you can get rid of a few of the old Contenders before you get to merge.

Casey, does that sound like a good idea?

Um, well, yeah, like, I guess, you know, the...

The ex-Champions are super tight and there's three of us,

so... if they want us gone, that would be a great strategy.

Not to say you guys want us gone.

So, do you believe that they didn't throw the challenge today?

Um, yeah. Well, like, even just hearing them speak now,

like, they sound pretty...

..you know, passionate about it, so I'm convinced.

'Cause you were the one that told us they were gonna throw the challenge.

No, it wasn't. It was Harry.

- No, no, no... - What?

- Oh, my God. Are you...? - You specifically told us... You said the girls told you.

That's where we heard the rumour.

I say a lot of lies but that one actually wasn't me.

I'm getting thrown under the bus here.

- OK, 'cause we didn't tell you any... - We never said that.

No. That was Harry.

- It wasn't Harry. - OK, well...

So, Matt, there seems to be a discrepancy

as to where this information came from.

Yeah.

- I'm... - Definitely.

Casey told me that she had a chat with the girls.

That's where the information is coming from but...

..sometimes at tribal, whenever you're around,

Casey... seems to forget things that have happened and...

"I'm a good girl" comes out.

So... here's the good girl.

So Janine, did you have that conversation with Casey?

No. The conversation didn't happen

so there was no conversation to have with Casey.

With that information, I'm 100% sure of when I was told and who told me.

Simon, do you think Matt's lying then?

No, I think Matt's a straight up-and-down guy.

I've got full faith in him.

I didn't come here to sit here at tribal and be like,

"I don't know what's happening" and all that kind of stuff.

I'm here for the Contenders team right now and I keep saying that and I mean it.

I don't want anyone on that other team to win.

So Harry, if the old Contenders don't stick together tonight,

what's gonna happen next time you come here?

Pretty much just get picked off one by one, which is...

..probably the most likely scenario at this point.

- Janine, any final words? - Let's vote.

Let's vote. I like it. Let's do it.

Alright.

Let's vote.

Pia, you're up.

Dirty Harry.

Love it.

I'll go count the votes.

If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and you wanna play it,

now would be the time to do so.

Yeah, alright.

Jonathan...

..I'm not much of a gambling man

and...

..tonight is gonna be no exception.

- I'm playing this for myself. - For yourself.

OK.

I can confirm that this is, in fact, a hidden immunity idol.

Any votes cast for Harry will not count.

Once the votes are read, the decision is final.

Person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately.

I'll read the votes.

First vote...

Harry. Does not count.

Casey.

That's two votes Casey.

Tenth person voted out of Australian Survivor, Casey.

That's three votes, that's enough. You need to bring me your torch.

- Sorry, Case. - Yeah, no.

Fair enough.

Casey, the tribe has spoken.

See you, guys.

Time for you to go.

Well, it's very simple.

In this game, if you're not controlling the vote,

you're being controlled by the vote.

Grab your torches, head back to camp.

Goodnight.

Sunday night, on Australian Survivor,

they've taken aim...

Janine is absolutely gunning for me.

..now they're ready to fire.

When you get a free shot, you take it.

I'm gonna cut his throat when he least expects it.

They'll take no prisoners...

It is gonna be a bloodbath.

..but in the battle to climb to the top...

I'm here to play, I'm here to win.

..who will come crashing down?

Stop!

Medic! Medic!

I was hoping that luck was on my side but, yeah, it just wasn't.

I'm hoping tonight Harry goes but we have to have a plan B.

This is plan B.

I think it's still too early to say who the Sole Survivor is going to be.

Like, you come into the game, thinking you're in with a chance

but there is only one Sole Survivor and that didn't...

..that's not me, which is why I'm sitting here.
