Janine brought David in on the secret...

It's as physical as I've ever seen in this game.

Realistically you've got to pick the strongest crew

if we're gonna actually have any success of winning.

Ross is a real wildcard,

so you know, you never know what Ross is gonna come up with.

I think the hardest thing about being out here

is definitely not having my family here.

My kids and my husband, I love them so much.

But as a fan, I love the game.

I love that I was on the chopping block.

You know, I've powered through a really hard first two days

where I was absolutely, like, the dud of the tribe.

And now I've survived.

We had this strong six alliance,

myself, Janine, Luke, David, Abbey and Roscoe.

But even better than that,

I have this great alliance with Janine and Abbey.

Janine and Abbey and I have got a really nice friendship,

and that feels unbreakable.

I do worry that there's a vibe out there

that's really, like, girls can't play.

We feel so strong at the moment

that I'm not afraid to make dangerous or scary moves.

I came out here to win and I'm willing to do whatever it takes.

- Ahhh. - Daisy's beauty salon.

is I've switched the Champions' idol with Dave.

I now have a Contender's idol on the Contenders' beach.

I can't believe how successful we did that swap.

In terms of perfect Survivors days, this is definitely up there.

I feel fantastic right now.

I haven't had much of a chance to have a look at the idol.

But I'll definitely try and have a look later.

I think Baden actually did us a real big solid by giving him a feed,

so he can, like, play again tomorrow.

The Champs are feeding probably the strongest player in the game

and, you know, getting his energy levels up,

so it's going to hold us in good stead for tomorrow's challenge.

it was very evident

that he's already trying to work that other side.

about the power getting to his head.

two members from your tribe will each stand on a narrow beam atop a tower.

The rest of the tribe will each take turns

holding ropes suspending sandbags.

The goal is to keep the sandbag within that painted zone.

When you tire, you can hand your rope to the next person.

You have three tribemates per rope.

If at any point the sandbag drops... so will your tribemate.

Last tribe with a person still standing on the beam...

..wins immunity, safe from the vote.

Losing tribe, it is a trip to tribal council,

where one of you will become the sixth person voted out of this game.

I just held on for as long as I could.

People are feeling a bit bad for ET and Simon.

Like an emotional hook at the moment.

and going into tribal, pretty certain death march for ET tonight.

So we're gonna go 4/2 on ET.

I don't really see any positives to keeping ET.

He's a good presence in the camp,

but it's not like he's reeling in 20 fish a day.

He's caught one fish.

Only one, and it wasn't that big.

Dave is certainly a planner and a forward thinker

and he's got this game all mapped out.

But, on the footy field, I never give up.

And it's the same here in Survivor.

I will not be giving up.

Well, I think there's a case of how we can convince the others

that strength is still an important factor in this game.

The best way forward right now, I need to chat to Abbey.

Abbey's an AFL girl.

One of the original seven athletes.

Maybe I can convince Abbey to do a bit of a swing.

- We've had the same team each time and we've won one, lost one. - Yeah.

It's not going to be so straightforward as it is right now.

I have to choose between somebody I've idolised

and had as my childhood hero,

and then there's somebody who is honestly

one of the nicest people that you would ever meet in this world.

It's definitely easier said than done

to take the emotion out of your vote.

Because I'm a very emotional person

and I hold every relationship that I create in great stead.

And that's what breaks my heart, you know?

The lower we get in numbers,

The challenges aren't gonna get easy.

I feel bad for Abs voting ET.

Like, she genuinely sees him as like a father figure.

But you gotta look at the long game.

The long game is, we gotta do some dirty work.

Once ET goes, we probably have to stab each other in the back.

But it's something we're all eventually gonna have to do.

From day one, that was the thing.

And I think Shaun's more willing to work with us

in case it comes down to it.

We're such a tight-knit group.

I'm definitely starting to worry about David

and the power getting to his head.

He's definitely taking control

and very clearly playing the game

and just trying to work everybody that he possibly can.

I have no doubt that soon for David

it'll be just a process of eliminating all of the girls.

Maybe it's time for the girls to make a big change in this game.

We need to start thinking about our position in that six.

Luke's pretty smart at this game and he's a good asset.

I was confused when Casey told me

I was wondering whether he did it just to play with them,

or whether he's been lying to us.

In this game it's about waiting for the right time to strike.

If I'm going to strike, I want to be 100% sure it's going to work.

I'm probably feeling my most confident I've ever felt tonight.

I'm like totally in control, it's amazing!

Right now it's a clear-cut numbers game.

ET is a sportsman alliance.

Yeah, he's gotta go.

The sports heroes are getting chopped off one by one.

And even though they see it coming, they can't do anything to stop it.

It's like standing in front of this bus

and just waiting for it to hit you.

Today is probably the hardest day

that I've had in this Survivor experience.

I have to choose between my childhood heroes

or to try and start making some big moves and get rid of a threat.

I don't know what to do right now.

I just need to work out what's best for my game moving forward.

So, David, last time we were here,

you were adamant that you would not lose again.

Yet here we are.

Yeah, that's a little unfortunate, isn't it?

But, uh, we had a positive mindset coming into today, Jonathan.

We were like...

I think we actually really, really believed we were going to win.

It just didn't go our way in the end.

Abbey, last tribal you were confident that this group of people

was the right combination to win.

Do you still feel that way?

I do. 110%, Jonathan.

An awful situation that we're in

and to be honest, I'm absolutely heartbroken.

I think the strength that we have amongst this eight

is absolutely elite.

We went in really positive, really hungry to not be here,

sitting with you tonight,

but unfortunately, today, when it really counted once again,

we just weren't able to find it.

But, ET, you can't win a footy game

if everyone's running in their own direction.

Where's the direction in this tribe?

You know, there's certainly some great leaders here.

But when you look at the results, the results speak for themselves.

You know, we've had five losses.

And as much as I'd like to say

that our heads aren't on the chopping block,

myself and Simon are certainly there.

But David, last tribal you said once Steven's gone,

it's going to be a fresh start for Simon and ET.

Yeah, and I thought it was.

But here we are and... yeah.

So you meant fresh start in terms of challenges,

not fresh start in terms of who's in, who's out.

Yeah, fresh start in terms of challenges.

I mean, I was willing to have a fresh start in terms of the team,

but we really needed to win one just to kind of kick that off

and unfortunately, we couldn't get it done today.

So these guys are dead men walking, is what you're saying.

I wouldn't necessarily say they're dead men walking.

That sounds a little bit extreme.

But, uh, yeah, they're certainly in trouble.

Well, ET, if that's true,

that the six are going to vote for either you or Simon,

then it really is a fight to the death.

So essentially, your game has come down to

what you're going to say right here, right now.

So, what would you say to this tribe to convince them to keep you?

Well, obviously I think very highly of Simon,

so, you know, we're pretty tight and close.

If I look over all the challenges we've had, you know,

I haven't let the team down at all.

I've always, you know, given my all.

You know, I've supported the team incredibly.

I haven't been lying to any of these people at all.

You know, they know they can rely on me.

They know I can contribute.

It's hard to look back across those five losses

and really pinpoint any one particular person that was at fault.

But as a captain, you need to lead by example

and if the captain was needed, I put my hand up.

You know, I played that leadership role of captain

at the highest level.

And I've had a lot of success that way.

So, oh, 100% I could offer that leadership moving forward.

David, I mean, ET has a good point.

He is a huge challenge asset.

Shouldn't challenge contribution be your primary focus right now?

Because the more often you come back here,

the more likely it is you will be going home next.

At this point in the game,

I think we're feeling pretty tight with the six

and I just think cracking that open tonight

is, um, maybe a little bit too early.

So do you feel that solid in your alliance

that you're willing to send home one of your biggest challenge assets?

Well, he's a challenge asset, but at the end of the day,

ET is with us but we're still losing.

We need to think about more than just camp contribution

and challenge contribution at this point.

And that's pretty much where I sit with it.

Are you confident enough

Are you afraid that maybe one day others in the alliance

are gonna be told to vote for you?

Yeah, I'm afraid of that. It's a... It's Survivor.

Oh, look, tonight's incredibly tough, Jonathan.

You know, I'm... We've obviously spoken about the six,

but for me, personally, it's incredibly tough

because on one side of the spectrum, I've got my childhood hero

and somebody that I've absolutely idolised since I was a young girl

in Simon.

And then on the other side of the spectrum,

I've got a man who reminds me so much of my dad.

Um...

Yeah, he really does, you know.

ET has got one of the kindest hearts you'll ever come across.

And I don't know.

He's just got this real calming influence over me too,

so it's just really hard for me, personally, tonight.

Do you think he's the right person to go home tonight?

I don't think anybody should go home tonight.

My real strength or asset to the tribe is the physical challenges.

Probably most important, I think I...

You know, like everyone here tonight,

I've really just loved the company I've kept.

It's been a really special group.

And definitely be a good foot soldier

and contribute in a lot of ways for this tribe, going forward.

So, Janine, the alliance of six seems very tight.

Why is that?

The sportsman alliance was formed, from what I understand, on day one,

when no-one really had developed relationships.

They just kind of went with the flow and went yes.

The alliance that we developed was actually done a few more days in,

so we actually developed relationships based on trust.

So, do you trust everyone in your alliance equally?

Look, of course not.

It's Survivor, so, you know, we don't know what's coming up.

Ross, do you think there are smaller numbers working within the alliance?

There could be, yes.

I mean, there's... The girls could be doing that.

So you're saying that the alliance could be fractured?

You know, there's like a current going around, OK?

To put the analogy of a... of the ocean.

I don't think it's anything too major and needed to be a concern,

so I think that there's a good trust between the entire six.

And right now, that's, um... Yeah, that's what we're working with.

Pia, what are you basing your vote on tonight?

Trust is something that you don't feel or expect to feel in Survivor.

You really don't.

So if you have it, you've got to cling onto it for as long as you can.
