[Blue Army Assault Team Leader: Wang Rui]

[Tigers Assault Team]

[All gunfire, bullet impacts, gunshot wounds, explosions, and injury scenes in this film]

[are artistic effects and not based on real-life exercises.]

In a combat zone joint training base,

People's Liberation Army of China's

Red and Blue Armies are engaging in cross-regional,

multi-terrain live combat.

The Blue Army, known as the "Grinding Stone,"

is equipped with some of the best modern weapons.

Since its formation,

the Blue Army has achieved a record of 32 wins and 1 loss.

The Red Army's digitally integrated heavy brigade is launching an assault.

The main goal of this battle

is to destroy the Blue Army's electronic warfare base.

[48 hours left until the exercise ends.]

[Exercise Command Center]

[Real-time Battle Report]

Currently, the situation between the Red and Blue forces is as follows:

The Red Army has deployed its special forces,

the Tigers Assault Team,

to infiltrate the Blue Army's rear

and destroy their power generation facilities.

Using air-guided long-range strikes,

the Red Army has successfully captured Blue Army Base No. 1,

destroyed 4 electromagnetic signal vehicles,

2 armored vehicles,

and killed 32 Blue Army soldiers.

The Red Army's Tigers Assault Team has suffered 6 fatalities,

with 6 remaining.

It seems that after strengthening their practical combat training,

the Red Army has greatly improved its capabilities.

[Satellite Signals] [Strategic Coordinates]

This first strike

was highly effective.

Winning battles is what truly matters.

[First Combat Zone Commander: Wang Guowei]

This recent skirmish

was very realistic.

[First Combat Zone Chief of Staff: Song Qin]

Both sides have really gone all out...

[First Combat Zone Political Commissar: Wang Xiaobo]

True fighting, no holding back.

Maybe this exercise

will change the usual pattern of the Red vs. Blue confrontation.

The best fighters

are like the boundless sky

and the never-ending river.

[Triumph in 2021 Military Exercise]

The battlefield is unpredictable.

If you always stick to the same strategy,

how can you hone your troops?

[Drawing the Enemy into the Open]

[40 hours until the exercise ends.]

[Blue Army Electronic Warfare Base]

It's been snowing so heavily.

Here's the thing.

Last night,

[Blue Army Chief of Staff: Bai Kewen] [Blue Army Commander: Zhang Qiang]

The enemy captured our Base No. 1,

destroyed the power plant,

and the electromagnetic signal vehicles.

We killed 6 enemy soldiers

and six others have escaped.

Proceed as planned.

Zhang.

I mean,

using a real electronic expert

to catch this small fry?

Isn't that a bit reckless?

These small fry

won't cause any trouble.

Don't worry.

Chief of Staff.

I think the snow is getting heavier.

Our defensive structures

need to be closely monitored.

Don't worry.

I'll go personally and check on it.

Okay.

You two,

come with me.

Yes.

Wang Rui

is leading a special ops team

[Blue Army Staff Officer: Wang Hao]

To track the enemies.

The Red Army Headquarters

will definitely contact them.

Ask the Electronic Investigation Unit

to cooperate with Wang Rui

to monitor the nearby radio signals.

Also, tell Wang Rui

I must catch the enemy alive.

Yes, sir.

We can't use the vehicles anymore.

Their car is equipped with a locator.

We can't use the car anymore.

What's going on?

So now you're brave enough to give orders, huh?

Without us, you would've been dead by now.

What's so impressive about that?

Wait.

Who's dead?

You're the ones who got left behind.

Yes.

Alright.

Stop arguing.

We need to leave here

to avoid being tracked.

Once we're in a safe place,

we'll report back to command.

Let's go.

Hold on.

Take the on board computer from the car.

Let's go.

[34 hours and 50 minutes left until the exercise ends]

Calling Elephant, calling Elephant.

Tigers have destroyed the Blue Army's No. 1 electronic warfare base.

Awaiting further instructions.

[Red Army Mechanized Units Launching an Attack on Blue Army]

[Electronic Warfare]

Report to the Brigade Commander:

The enemy has deployed a large number of mechanized units.

[Blue Army Headquarters]

Look, Zhang.

This is the current situation map

of the Red and Blue forces.

Zhao

fell for it so easily

Interesting.

We can release our decoys now.

Yes, sir.

[Red Army Command Post]

Report!

We've detected the enemy air targets.

10 kilometers away.

Speed: 280.

Altitude: 150.

Direction: 045.

The radar return indicates an army aviation formation.

From the southwest 225-degree direction,

they're approaching our No. 1 position.

Blatant provocation.

[Red Army Brigade Commander: Zhao Gang]

Shoot them down!

[Red Army Air Defense Formation]

Calling Elephant, calling Elephant.

Tigers is operating in the enemy's rear zone.

Please give the next steps for the operation.

[Searching thoroughly]

Brigade Commander.

The UAV decoy has been shot down.

Looks like

we've locked in

the coordinates for the Red Army's air defense positions.

The second hook is in place.

Okay!

Let's start the Flare Plan.

Yes, sir.

[The Red Army's Mechanized Units Being Jammed by Electromagnetic Interference.]

Brigade Commander.

The mechanized units are being jammed by electromagnetic interference.

Communications are down,

and all signals lost.

The air defense system's electrical control has been destroyed.

[Red Army Political Commissar: He Qingshan]

We can't fire.

Damn it.

Activate the backup communication systems right now.

Repair the electrical control system.

Assess the damage.

Yes, sir.

Their mechanized units are out of commission.

Now it's our turn to make our move.

Attack!

- Yes, sir! - Yes, sir!

Report!

The enemy has breached the first defense line

They'll reach the second line in 2 hours.

The backup communication system has been activated.

The main system is severely damaged.

Communications have been switched,

The front-line mechanized units are facing electromagnetic interference.

Take out their electromagnetic jamming base.

The reserve forces are 37% ready

and have assembled.

But without coordinates,

precise strikes are impossible.

All units, hold your positions.

The mechanized infantry battalion construct fortifications to strengthen the second defense line.

Yes, sir.

[34 hours and 50 minutes left until the exercise ends]

Stop!

Clear!

Everyone, hold your positions.

Prepare to cross the bridge.

Lijian.

Captain Liu and Cuspid got out of the vehicle.

Why didn't you save them?

If we go back now,

we'll all die there.

How do we know it won't work if we don't try?

Coward.

You're worse than a military dog.

We've already lost six soldiers.

If we save one more person,

it gives us a better chance to complete the mission.

We're here to finish the mission,

to win this fight.

If Squad A's all wiped out,

how can you complete the mission?

As long as we're here, Squad A is still in the game.

If we fall,

we don't need your squad to save us.

Enough.

What's the point of arguing?

We're all part of Tigers, forget about Squad A and Squad B.

Strong soldiers win battles.

What's the use of talking?

Hu!

Headquarters contacted.

This is Hu Yang.

Yesterday,

the electronic base we destroyed was a decoy.

This morning, the enemy launched an electromagnetic attack,

crippling our mechanized units.

Headquarters ordered

to find the real electronic base

within 12 hours.

Roger.

We'll get it done.

[Tigers Assault Team, Nameless River]

[Mission: Locate the Blue Army Electronic Warfare Base, November 9th, 8:18 AM]

[Searching thoroughly]

Sniper!

Take cover!

Yu Gan!

Find him!

Roger.

Enemy sighted at 9 o'clock.

Smoke grenades, cover!

Li Jian!

Hurry up, cross the bridge.

Cover us!

The rest of you,

cover the bridge demolition.

Roger.

Retreat!

Go!

Catch them alive.

Retreat!

Reload!

Retreat!

Hurry up!

Position secured.

Retreat!

Yu Gan!

Are you insane?

Go!

Go!

Hurry up.

You go first.

I'm Tigers' soldier. I won't back down.

Yu Gan!

Yu Gan!

Retreat!

Go!

Let's go.

[Electronic warfare]

Zhang,

we've gained the upper hand.

If our Flare Plan

reaches the final phase,

we can

eliminate all exposed

enemy targets

and gain a strategic advantage.

According to the rules,

once the time is up,

we win.

I don't want a victory like that.

What I want

is to completely crush them.

This battle isn't over yet.

We haven't shown all our cards yet,

and Zhao

won't give up so easily.

Battle update!

Commander,

look.

The Tigers escaped again.

[23 hours and 33 minutes left in the exercise]

Elephant.

Tigers speaking.

Tigers speaking.

If I were you,

I would go back to save you too.

Soldiers

never hesitate

and leave no regrets.

We are all soldiers from the Tigers,

so we must not chicken out.

Looks like we haven't completed our mission.

The map.

Here's the thing.

Last night,

the electronic warfare base we struck was a fake.

This morning, the Blue Army launched an electromagnetic attack

that destroyed our mechanized units.

Now, headquarters has ordered us

to locate their real

electronic warfare base within 12 hours.

According to intelligence,

the actual location

should be somewhere nearby.

But how do we find it in such a large area?

The size isn't the problem.

The key is

our radio is damaged,

so even if we find it,

we can't communicate with headquarters.

And we're running low on ammo too.

Right now, our top priority

is to find some supplies.

It sounds easy,

but where do we even look?

I had Yu Gan intercept

their supply route data

from their vehicle systems.

The convoy follows a fixed schedule every day,

so if we head over now,

we should catch the next shipment.

Let's do it.

Move out.

Yes, sir!

[Waiting for the chance]

[Tigers Assault Team, Blue Army's supply route]

[Mission: Intercept Blue Army supply vehicles, 9th November, 9:24 PM]

[Waiting for the chance]

What's wrong with this car?

Why did it stall all of a sudden?

But I started the engine.

Is the on board computer working?

Yes.

I was worrying about how to cover such a large area,

but now it looks like

we've hit the jackpot.

30 seconds,

four people,

two cars.

This is working like a charm, right?

Let's bring him some food.

OK.

Come on, let's eat.

Let's see what the Blue Army is eating.

Lijian.

Here.

Cong.

Hu.

Don't you find it odd?

We found these things so easily.

It's too much of a coincidence.

Can't be.

We've got food, gear,

and a radio.

I checked everything.

It's all top-tier.

We've hit the jackpot.

If

It's a trap,

they

are being way too generous.

But that's exactly why I'm skeptical.

It's all the stuff we need.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Look.

The base is right at the foot of the mountain,

surrounded by valleys and forests.

It's got great cover.

Satellites can barely detect it.

I compared it

to the electromagnetic signal zone

the headquarters marked out,

and this

is by far the best spot for a temporary base.

The terrain couldn't be faked,

and

the supply route in the on board computer

wasn't a last-minute,

so I'd say

the chances of this being an enemy base are pretty high.

You're right,

but I still don't feel good about it.

Do we have any other options?

No time for doubt.

When soldiers face a challenge,

the only answer is to overcome it.

Pack up,

we're heading out.

Yes, sir.

Yes, sir.

[9 hours and 5 minutes left in the drill]

[Altitude: 2,188 meters]

Hold up!

What's wrong?

We're almost there.

Something's wrong.

All this way,

no guards,

no watch,

no decent defense.

It doesn't feel like the outer perimeter of an important base.

And look,

the terrain here is really complicated.

If we get ambushed,

getting away won't be easy.

This won't do.

We need to change our route.

No time for detours.

Safety is important,

and the mission is the top priority.

There's still time.

Grenade!

Fall back!

Get in position!

Get in position!

Two o'clock!

Fall back!

Fall back!

Let's go!

Ready!

Reload!

Reload!

Retreat!

Cong.

Cong!

Li Cong!

You go first.

I'll stall them.

Come at me if you dare!

As long as we breathe, the Tigers never fall!

Retreat!

Retreat!

Retreat!

Retreat!

Cover me!

Come back!

Let's go.

Go!

Go now!

Go!

Let's go!

Let's go!

Honestly, you lot shouldn't be called the Tigers!

"Scaredy Cats" suit you better.

Meow.

I'll blow you to pieces!

Protect Captain!

Retreat!

Go!

Run!

Keep running!

Let's retreat.

Live battle update.

The Blue Army has launched a targeted bombardment

on the Red Army's position using long-range artillery,

followed by an aggressive tank assault.

Estimated time to breach

Red Army's second defense line: 43 minutes.

Notify the artillery battalion.

Launch a full-scale counterstrike!

Yes!

They want to break through?

Let's see whose defenses hold stronger!

[Red Army forces are striking back]

Commander,

our ground forces have taken heavy losses

from enemy shelling,

but we've locked onto

their artillery coordinates.

That Zhao guy

is finally showing his cards.

Inform Dr. Zhang

that Flare Plan is moving to Phase Two.

I want every enemy military unit tracked.

Yes, sir.

I'm heading out.

You take command here.

Where are you going?

To see just how powerful

our trump card really is.

Let's go.

Commander,

enemy drones detected.

Activate anti-air guns!

Yes, sir.

[Red Army's anti-air guns]

[Street Eyes]

Commander,

look.

The Red Army's ground forces are wiped out in an instant.

[Blue Army's swarm drone control center]

The swarm is living up to its name.

These drones can deploy with pinpoint precision mid-flight,

[Blue Army's electronic warfare expert, Zhang Rui]

And once they go into attack mode,

no regular air defense

can touch them.

Excellent.

Dr. Zhang,

get that new batch

of swarms ready ASAP.

Yes.

Once we have their coordinates,

this battle

should be over.

Commander,

most of their military

has been

wiped out already.

When the exercise ends,

we're looking at

a clean victory.

Why even bother with

those last few who got away?

More supply drops,

more maps.

Isn't that

too risky?

We'll only truly claim victory once we've wiped out

their headquarters.

Even if the Tigers Assault Team

shows up,

they'll just

speed things up for us.

The Blue Army locked onto the coordinates of the Red Army's artillery units,

then launched an electromagnetic warfare attack.

Drones swarmed in

and covered the disabled mechanized units of the Red Army,

obliterating the exposed anti-air defenses.

The Red Army lost 30 tanks

and 16 anti-aircraft vehicles,

while the Blue Army lost 146 drones.

The artillery battalion,

anti-air defenses,

and mechanized units

have all been wiped out.

The battle is not over yet.

[3 hours and 25 minutes left in the exercise]

Great,

now it's just the four of us.

Where the heck exactly is this base?

How are we supposed to find it?

We should've just listened to Captain Hu.

It doesn't make sense.

The base should be right there.

We're so close.

How about

we contact headquarters directly?

The radio's gone.

How can we even contact them?

Even if we did,

what would we say?

That we've failed?

I think...

Don't even start.

If it wasn't for your suggestion,

we wouldn't be in this mess.

All right,

it's not Li Jian's fault.

It's my fault.

I didn't make the right decision.

I should take full responsibility.

I'm not blaming anyone.

When have we, the Tigers,

ever been in a fight this frustrating?

If it weren't for the mission,

I'd say screw it, let's go back and fight it out with them.

Take one out and we break even,

two, and we're ahead.

And now?

We've got nothing.

What are we supposed to do?

This is so frustrating!

We're soldiers.

If

We give up on any hope of winning now,

we don't deserve this uniform,

we don't deserve the Tigers symbol on our chest.

That's right.

It's not over yet.

We can't quit now.

Setbacks

will only make the fire in our hearts

burn hotter.

The base

isn't going to fly into the sky, is it?

I was wrong.

The base is not there,

but it's also there.

So, is it here or not?

Look at the route those drones are taking.

It's up there.

[Blue Army drone swarm]

[Triumph in 2021 Military Exercise]

Report!

30 Red Army armored vehicles destroyed,

artillery

and air defense positions breached,

communication systems down,

the first and second positions lost.

End of report!

The Blue Army lost 10 vehicles

and 20 small drones.

End of report!

Looks like

the red-blue exercise's momentum

is still tough to shift.

Time's almost up.

Less than three hours left.

When a military goes to war,

it has to look the part.

Our drills are combat-ready,

no contingency plans,

[Triumph in 2021 Military Exercise]

No set routines,

no fixed patterns.

It all

comes down to human effort,

and until the final moment,

we need to have patience.

[Head straight into the lion's den]

[1 hour and 47 minutes left in the exercise]

[1 hour and 47 minutes left in the drill]

It's so green down the mountain.

Why is there so much snow up here?

In high-altitude areas,

one mountain can have all four seasons,

and the higher you go, the colder it gets.

[Altitude: 2,895 meters.]

What is this place?

What is this?

Isn't this just a tower?

Is it even here?

If it were, it'd have been captured by satellites.

Let's check it out.

Watch out.

Told you it was here.

With all this fog,

Zhang sure knows how to pick a place.

Password?

Kunlun.

Response?

Thank you.

- Freeze! - Freeze!

Password?

Kunlun.

Response?

Baoji.

No wonder I couldn't find the satellite.

So it's hidden here.

It seems like they're not using an electromagnetic signal jammer vehicle.

Instead, they've modified the signal tower

to launch an electromagnetic attack.

Who came up with this idea?

Pretty clever!

Yes.

Blue Army Electronic Base.

Coordinates confirmed.

Liu Xiaoshuai.

Find a way to contact the command center.

Yes, sir!

There are two roads here.

Which way?

There's a building over there.

Let's check it out.

OK.

I'll go in with Li Jian and take a look.

You two cover the perimeter.

Yes.

Let's go.

[Tigers Assault Team - Blue Army Electronic Warfare Command Center]

[Mission: Expose the coordinates of the Blue Army's electronic warfare base, November 10th, 16:42]

[Deep into the Loong Pool]

[Safety first, Youth leads the way]

Elephant! Elephant!

I'm Tigers!

Elephant. Elephant. I'm Tigers!

Reply if you hear me!

Elephant. Elephant. I'm Tigers!

[Reply if you received this message.]

How is it? Did you get in touch?

It doesn't work!

What do you mean?

I can connect, but there's no communication!

Let's go!

Great!

Zhang!

Our electronic reconnaissance troops

have detected their signals

and already pinpointed the Red Army's command center.

Look.

Good!

That's great!

This is the decisive moment!

Dr. Zhang.

Yes.

Please initiate

the second wave of swarm attacks immediately!

Understood!

Dr. Zhang.

Whether we succeed or fail

depends on you.

I'll complete the mission, guaranteed!

Wear this.

March!

Isn't this a maze?

Where should we go?

Why don't we ask someone?

I think it's okay.

Which way?

Stop!

Why aren't you saluting?

The exercise isn't over yet.

Stay alert!

Yes, sir!

Operation Forces

should act like Operation Forces.

Yes, sir!

Speak louder!

Yes, sir!

I think I know which way to go now.

Which way?

There are guards.

Go!

[Drone Swarm Coordinates]

The last one.

How many in total?

Four.

Looks like we found the right place.

I don't think it's here.

Did we come to the wrong place?

This is a drone swarm.

This is a target for strike.

This position

is our command center!

Who are you?

We've been looking for you for too long!

Dr. Zhang.

[Electronic Warfare]

Commander!

Go now.

Yes, sir!

You brat.

Why are you in such a mess?

We lost a few comrades.

However,

the remaining Tigers Assault Team

has been surrounded by our forces and forced off the cliff.

They might not pose any further threat to our army.

How's it going?

This system is a bit tricky.

Where is the doctor?

Let him sleep over there.

What happened?

[Warning]

Why did you trigger the alarm?

I don't know.

Maybe we should just destroy this piece of junk.

Give me some more time.

Luo Xin!

Shuai!

Make some noise!

The bigger, the better!

Got it!

Leave it to me!

You keep going!

I'll buy you some time!

Okay!

Commander!

An enemy force has infiltrated the base!

Explosions reported on the ground!

Commander!

Flight control center reports an anomaly!

What's going on?

That's impossible!

What did you just say?

Weren't they all eliminated?

What's going on?

It seems like...

I'll have to catch

these rats myself.

Wang Rui!

Yes, sir!

Get to the flight control center immediately!

Remember!

Make sure Dr. Zhang is safe!

Yes, sir!

You brat.

I'll deal with you when I'm back.

Hurry!

Hurry up!

Hurry!

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Activate the second set of wartime codes!

- Activate... - Hurry up!

Faster, faster!

The key!

Where can I get the key?

Hurry!

Go protect our commander!

Yes, sir!

Captain, I've checked here.

It's clear.

Codeword!

Kunlun!

How did you see through it?

Kunlun is the ground codeword!

How's it going?

Is it destroyed?

Yes.

Ten minutes left.

Codeword!

Kunlun!

Quick! Quick!

Keep up!

Hurry!

Hurry!

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Why are you two lagging behind?

Keep up!

Give me a clip!

I'm out!

How's it on your side?

You fall back first!

We've got this!

Dog keeper!

I'm out of bullets!

We are Tigers's soldiers!

Don't back down!

Let's do it!

Go!

On position!

On position!

On position!

On position!

I didn't expect

you guys can still fight like this!

You're quite the fighter!

We made it this far,

and you guys aren't so impressive either.

Yes, we are not that good.

Just a little bit more luck

than you guys.

Let me tell you.

In the beginning, I set up a fake base

just to make you believe that

my electromagnetic signal car had been destroyed.

Originally,

I planned to lure

more mechanized Red Army units.

But I didn't expect

when you were running away,

you just had to tear apart the vehicle's on board computer.

I thought

you must

pay attention to our supply route.

Look.

I've specially arranged

transport cars,

military maps,

and customed radio stations for you guys.

Pretty thoughtful, right?

So what if we didn't come?

If you didn't come...

A soldier

will never gives up any hope of victory

unless you are the weak.

It Looks like...

I made the right call.

But you never thought we could find this place!

I know.

You destroyed the flight control center

but even if the whole swarm goes out of control,

it won't change the result!

Besides,

I still have enough military forces

to destroy your command center.

Of course,

This all

thanks to you two!

Ten minutes.

Almost up.

Time's up!

The key!

Where can I get the key?

Yes!

Is it destroyed?

Yes.

Ten minutes left!

Before it was destroyed,

I changed the target of automatic attacks.

Do you think

this will turn the tide?

My command center is underground!

These swarms

won't even come close to hitting it!

Who said we only have swarms?

Commander!

The electromagnetic attack has disappeared!

At the same time, automatic artillery radar

detected a strong explosion.

The explosion's coordinates

match those where the swarm is returning.

The satellite map shows,

that is a civilian signal station.

Good!

Tigers triggered the explosion.

Those guys!

That's the enemy's electronic warfare base!

Fire the rocket!

Full-scale attack!

Yes, sir!

Hurry up!

[Red Army Missile Unit]

It's so loud!

[Victory in the 2021 Military Exercise]

the changes in war,

and changes in our opponents

military training's core

is talent.

Attention!

A top-class military forces

should have a top-class management concept

and top-class strategic qualities.

Train with iron will in peacetime,

and show our iron fists in wartime.

with Tigers as the core,

we'll forge a force that can be summoned at any time,

ready to fight

and certain to win.
