Peacock in Wonderland

Episode 25

Lai, are you making lanterns?

-Yes. -What for? Is there a festival coming?

Qiang asked me to make them.

She said they are going to the lake tonight to enjoy the scenery.

If they put these lanterns on the lake,

it will be very beautiful.

Lord Li is really thoughtful.

Who is he going boating with on the lake?

Holy Envoy, you don't know?

I saw that Uncle Li was very attentive.

I thought they invited you to go with them.

Muyang,

I put a lot of effort into today's plan.

You must win this girl over.

My Lord, everything is ready.

Wait.

This outfit is too plain.

Go change into another one.

Dress more playfully.

Playfully?

Don't worry, My Lord.

I have prepared your battle robe.

Go change into it, My Lord.

Holy Envoy.

Uncle Li.

One day ago

Come with me.

-Hurry. -What’s wrong?

Come with me.

Uncle Li, slow down.

Uncle Li.

Holy Envoy.

Please help me take a look.

Uncle Li, what does it mean?

Holy Envoy.

These are all eligible young women in Peacock City.

You are familiar with my Muyang.

Take a look and see which one suits him better.

Uncle Li,

you really don't understand your son.

He's just a blockhead.

Don't let other girls waste their time on him.

Even a blockhead needs a match, right?

As his dad, I have to arrange his marriage.

If he's not meant for you,

he'll have to find someone else.

He can't stay single

for a lifetime like me, right?

Personally,

I think this Miss Shen from the Shen family is not bad.

Shen Weilan, daughter of Chief Historian Shen

Not only does her background,

but also her appearance matches well with Muyang.

The more I look, the more I like her.

He used to ask me to do various things before.

But now, starting from today,

he's already making lanterns for another woman?

What a scumbag.

I must expose his true colors.

Holy Envoy, you are rarely this assertive.

You are truly domineering.

That's what I wanted.

We can't lose in terms of momentum.

Li Muyang, you brat!

You've never dressed up when you see me.

And today, you're so meticulously dressed up.

And you're wearing pink.

Am I pretty?

Yes.

Trust me. You really are beautiful.

Li Muyang.

What are you doing here?

I'm here for a date, of course.

Your Excellency, I thought you already knew.

Why are you so irresponsible?

The other day, weren't you just...

You scumbag!

Who is your date?

It wouldn't be Miss Shen from the Shen family, would it?

I must tell her

what kind of person you are.

My date is standing right in front of me.

Lord Li?

Shall we...

You bribed Lai and Qiang,

and are playing these tricks.

Do you have something to say to me?

What is it?

Stop pretending you don't understand.

Recently, you've been playing the piano for me,

taking me mountain climbing,

and now you're waiting for me here.

What do you mean?

Do you really not know what I mean?

How would I know if you don't tell me?

♫Flowers fall with the gentle kiss of the wind♫

♫Lost in reincarnation repeatedly♫

You're playing dumb.

We're just a step away from clarifying things between us.

♫Waiting for someone to turn around in Peacock City♫

I can't stand it anymore.

Whatever.

I'll go first.

I'll only say this once. Listen carefully.

♫The past is like falling snow♫

♫Who turned the wheel of time♫

Li Muyang,

I like you.

♫To find the person in the dream?♫

Would you like to be in a relationship with me?

♫If I can be with you in this life♫

♫I'll be willing to be trapped by love♫

It's okay.

It's okay if you don't want to be together with me.

In my hometown,

relationships are free.

♫A few teardrops♫

♫I still remember your eyes♫

I'm warning you.

♫If I can let the past go♫

You kissed me, so you'll have to take responsibility for me.

Don't think about...

♫Without love or hatred♫

♫We'll be fearless of separation♫

Don't worry, Qingqing.

I will take responsibility for you.

You still owe me a sentence.

Qingqing.

♫Flowers fall with the gentle kiss of the wind♫

I've been liking you for a long time.

I thought tonight

you were really going on a date with someone else.

I'm ready to fight.

Actually, this method was thought up by my father,

not me.

Uncle Li?

Indeed, age does bring wisdom.

I'll arrive at the next corner.

Go back first.

You're a boy.

It's too dangerous for you to go home alone at night.

Let me take you back.

Have you forgotten who I am?

Who in this city is my match?

I don't want to be separated from you.

Stand properly. There are people on the street.

Alright.

I'm going back.

Remember to think of me.

Yanxia Shop

You are indeed amazing.

Every piece is haute couture.

Do you like them?

Of course.

Qian.

Could you make two outfits for me?

Sure.

His height,

I estimate it to be around 1.85 meters.

Converted to the unit here, it's...

Ni.

I have Muyang's measurements.

I didn't say it was him.

If it's not Muyang,

then could it be Mr. Qing Jian from the Moon Pavilion?

If so, Muyang will come with a sword.

I can't hide anything from you.

Alright, I'll tell you.

It's Li Muyang.

Is it that obvious?

When you like someone,

you can't hide it in your eyes.

He treats you differently.

And you treat him the same.

Qian, let me tell you a secret.

Actually,

we are in a relationship.

I grew up with Muyang since we were kids.

I've never seen him treat any girl differently.

When he started changing step by step for you,

I knew

you would eventually enter his heart.

Really?

As his brother

and his friend,

you're my friend now too.

You can't deceive me.

Actually, I've always been thinking,

he's handsome,

he has a good job,

and there are so many people like him.

Has he really never had feelings for anyone else?

I don't know if he has had feelings for anyone else.

But I know

he has never treated any other girl

the way he treats you.

Really?

That's good then.

The person I like

must be faithful to me.

There absolutely cannot be any other women around him.

Other women?

Qiang is also one of "other women".

They even spend time together day and night.

Qiang? I don't think so.

No employee would fall in love

with their boss who is always torturing them.

That makes sense.

But lovers eventually getting together

is a great joy in life.

Ni?

Thank you.

This place is forested with mountains

and has complex terrain,

making it suitable for hiding.

To find the flower field

will take time.

We need to be patient.

Also,

Master Rong has been investigating closely lately.

We must find the clues

before she does.

Yes.

Boyfriend, where have you been?

I've been looking for you.

I...

I just bought some freshly baked bean cakes.

I don't know if you like them or not.

Of course I do.

Really?

My Lord, you don't like sweets.

It's so cold, Let me make some tea for you.

Qiang, what have you been up to lately?

-I've been... -Your hair has grown long.

Did you buy new accessories?

Goodness!

Did you get scalded?

Does it hurt?

Yangyang, look.

Your hand is turning red.

Do you have any ointment? Let me apply it for you.

What are you doing?

A magic trick?

I'm giving you a love bell.

Every time you take a step, it chimes,

symbolizing that every step you take, you think of me.

Lord Li, I didn't expect you

to be quite good with sweet words.

That's sweet words for you?

So you are a bit easy to please.

What do you mean?

Did you pleased other girls?

No.

Only you.

Really?

Really.

Really?

Really.

Really?

Really.

I knew it.

Does your hand still hurt?

Yes.

It won't hurt if I hug you.

Guanbuzhu

He's the esteemed chief of the Flowers Kill.

When did he become so clumsy that he couldn't even hold a cup of tea?

Wait.

He clearly poured it onto his hand on purpose.

But why did Lord Li do that?

To make the Holy Envoy feel bad for him, of course.

Lord Li is really cunning.

Where have you been?

You're all dirty.

I've been crawling into holes on the mountain all day, how could I not be dirty?

It's okay, just a few pats will do.

Look, your sleeve is torn.

Here, let me you sew it up for you.

No need, really.

It's okay.

Done.

Thank you.

No problem.

These are fruits I picked on the mountain.

Have a taste.

Thank you.

The Holy Envoy and Lord Li are so happy together.

They are the envy of everyone.

What's there to envy?

You'll have someone sooner or later.

Yanxia Shop

They are couple's outfits.

They were specially customized by Moqian for us.

Shall we wear them together?

But won't it be a bit too conspicuous?

Conspicuous?

Do you want to hide me away?

No, I don't.

Muyang is always saying one thing but meaning another.

He's calling it conspicuous now,

but who knows how ostentatious he'll be in the future.

I see.

I've never been like this.

Before, who said

he would never like the Holy Envoy

and wanted to kill her?

Back then, I thought she was from the Peacock Sect.

I thought she was associated with them.

Do you think I should have killed her?

But then,

I found out that you are not only intelligent

and kind-hearted,

but also considerate of the people in every aspect,

completely different from those people in the Peacock Sect.

Then who said

the Holy Envoy was not qualified to join our Flowers Kill?

Tell me if what I said is right or not.

You are not only intelligent

but also particularly good at leading us.

It's our fortune to have you in the Flowers Kill.

Alright, Muyang.

Stop arguing with me.

Among all these things,

in which one have you acted in accordance with your words?

-Du Moqian! -Qian!

Li Muyang,

were you the one who said all these things?

I harbored resentment against you before,

so I spoke without restraint.

Put on this outfit tomorrow,

and I'll forgive you.

Guanbuzhu

Father.

Father.

Where is this delivery going?

I'm going to the Moon Pavilion to deliver flowers.

The Moon Pavilion?

Let me take it.

Muyang,

now that you've been promoted,

how can you do such things?

No matter how high my position is,

I'm still your son.

Let me do it.

You truly are my good son.

Take a rest.

Be careful.

Muyang!

Muyang! Muyang! Muyang!

You're here.

What are you doing?

I'm going to deliver flowers to the Moon Pavilion.

Alright. I'll go with you.

Wait for me at home.

I'll be back soon.

Why?

Are you still minding the relationship between me and Cool Guy?

We really are just friends. Really.

I know.

Then why are you still minding?

Let me go with you.

Let me go with you.

Let me go with you.

Please?

Fine.

Let me help you move the flowers.
