[Lovesickness]

[Episode 17]

♫Wearing red clothes, I'm lovesick♫

♫I'm already worried before calling you Darling♫

♫Killing time in the daytime♫

Brother Xiao Chu, when do you like enjoying opera?

He has cleaned up all the brothels.

Now he doesn't have a place to enjoy music.

It was all because of you.

I heard about it long ago.

Sister An, I didn't expect it was because of you.

Because I'm unlucky.

Just enjoy opera.

♫Here♫

♫Miss, I love you♫

♫Very much♫

Love once begun, will never end.

The lovers may die for love,

and the dead in love may revive.

If I can have this kind of love, I don't care if I'm alive or dead.

Well,

what kind of opera did you ask for?

It's all about love. It's so boring.

Seriously? What's in the opera is not real.

Although it's not real, the love is real.

Nonsense.

Love is so vulnerable in front of life and death.

How can it transcend life and death?

What you don't know may still exist.

So you know?

Brother Xiao Chu, Sister An,

don't get angry because of an opera.

Of course I know. You're the one who doesn't know.

[Duke's Mansion]

Why should I be angry with him?

He doesn't remember me.

Remember what?

What are you doing here?

Try it.

I think you are very strange.

Strange?

Why?

Sometimes,

you make me feel familiar.

But sometimes, I feel like you're a stranger.

Anyway, sometimes I feel we are close and sometimes I feel we are distant.

Your Highness, humans are complicated.

What makes you say that?

I don't know what I should do.

Let me put it this way. The dog and the bunny are a couple.

They love each other very much.

But the pig and the dog are childhood sweethearts.

In order to have the dog,

the pig collaborated with a bad guy.

They killed the bunny.

In the end, the dog was killed too.

But now,

if God has given them a chance,

what do you think the bunny should do?

It's easy. Take action first.

Kill the pig.

But the pig is quite pitiful.

If it weren't for the bunny,

it wouldn't have become like this.

Then let the dog and the pig be together.

Then no one will die.

B-But...

the dog and the bunny are supposed to be a couple.

Isn't staying alive more important than love?

Isn't staying alive more important than love?

I will never let you be with Xiao Chu.

Your appearance will only harm him again.

That's right.

As long as you are with Zhao Yuchan,

you can live well.

If you want to eat anything, you can just tell the maid.

You don't have to cook personally.

No.

Today is your birthday.

I must cook something for you.

How did you know my birthday?

I heard it from the butler.

What are you making?

A birthday cake.

I can't find any ingredient in your era.

So I can only make a large-size osmanthus cake.

Let me help you.

What should I do?

We should add water, right?

I know.

No need for that.

Add more.

No need.

Too much water. Add some flour.

I'm just doing what I can.

Don't worry about me.

Go away.

It's spilt.

Don't spill it on me.

Look... Look at you.

Look at you. It's the same as last time.

Last time? When?

Nothing.

Honey.

Happy birthday.

I have never celebrated my birthday

since my parents passed away.

I'm going to celebrate it with you today.

Actually, I really hope I can accompany you forever.

You can be Mr. Wang's legal wife if you marry him.

Why did you refuse?

Don't mention it again.

I won't marry him.

Yuchan.

Sister An.

What brings you here today? Have a seat.

You may leave.

I heard someone came to propose a marriage.

I would rather die than marry him.

Are you willing to marry Xiao Chu?
