=Dream in the Mirror= =Episode 19=

Where are they taking us?

It's not going back to Baili's Mansion.

General is releasing us now.

Only one possibility.

You mean...?

It's the King of Nanyuan?

Have you...smelled something

strange?

General.

The hostage and Miss were

taken away by His Majesty.

General.

Are we not telling His Majesty

that Baili practices martial arts?

Returning to Dongque in just a day or two.

No need to complicate matters.

But...

His Majesty took away

the hostage and Miss now.

It feels strange.

Would he think that

we are conspiring something,

so he wants to break us apart?

How dare you!

Do not guess about the imperial will.

I wouldn't dare.

I'm just afraid that

His Majesty might use the hostage issue

to re...

remove you.

Wake up! Wake up!

This place is...

Slept well?

You two.

This mesmerizing incense was chosen by Zhao Qingqing

out of goods from the Western Regions,

and given to me.

I didn't expect it to be so effective.

Had I known,

I would have asked you for more.

Haven't you always wanted to know

how you died?

It's right here.

I asked Divine Ximen

to take your heart blood.

Jiang Beimo, you despicable villain.

If His Majesty finds out,

you will surely go to hell.

Stop yelling.

Zhao Qingqing.

Think about it.

I was captured by His Majesty.

How could I appear here safe and sound?

Anyway, you two don't have many days left.

It does no harm to tell you.

It was His Majesty who sent me here

to send you both to death.

I knew it.

The King of Nanyuan wants to use my death

to send troops to Dongque, right?

Your father, the King of Dongque,

died a few days ago

unexpectedly.

If you were dead also,

His Majesty wouldn't even need to send troops.

Your Dongque

would become a complete mess.

Jiang Beimo.

Rest assured.

Today is not your last day.

So any little lovey-dovey things

you couple have

to say to each other,

just say it.

I

will not disturb you.

Oh right.

This mirror is of no use to me.

Here you go.

Consider it as

a parting gift.

General Su Mu.

His Majesty summons you.

You were still dragged into this.

It's not you who dragged me into this.

It's Jiang Beimo.

Without this mirror,

I would have been dead long ago.

Qingqing.

- I... - The top priority right now

is to find a way out.

Right.

They lock us up here now.

They must intend to kill us

out of Nanyuan.

There's something I find quite surprising.

General knows about your martial skills.

And yet he didn't tell His Majesty.

Otherwise, King of Nanyuan wouldn't have gone through so much trouble,

not to kill us until we leave Nanyuan.

Jiang Beimo knows that during the day

you're Zhao Qingqing.

They will surely kill us during the day.

They have woven a large net,

waiting for us to jump in.

I told the servant

before going to the Mansion.

If I do not return overnight,

they will notify Dongque.

Then Dongque will send someone to find us.

But before that,

we must hold on.

No idea that tomorrow

who're the guards sending us to Dongque.

Poor people.

They will die along for no reason.

General Su.

You've sacrificed a lot for my Nanyuan.

Now I heard that the King of Dongque died suddenly.

Various forces

will surely be eyeing Mr. Baili.

I can only

protect Baili temporarily.

But tomorrow out of the city,

I can only leave you this vital task.

Thus, I can be at ease.

Your Majesty.

How about guarding the city?

I have made a plan for you.

Tomorrow, your deputies

will stay to guard the city.

I'll send our state's best hands

to go with you tomorrow.

Your Majesty's grace.

I followed the former emperor all my life,

fighting for stability and peace.

Today, I am entrusted by Your Majesty

with the task of escorting the hostage.

I will surely not fail this mission.

Bro.

Bro.

You bunch of animals.

I will...

General.

I don't believe

this place can trap me

Zhao Qingqing.

Plenty of experts are out there.

My strength alone

may not be enough.

Why fear?

Isn't Su Nanyan

coming soon?

Qingqing.

If she arrives,

then such a beautiful bamboo forest

would all be destroyed.

What a pity.

I am here on the order from the King of Nanyuan

to escort the hostage back to Dongque.

General Su.

It's not yet dawn. Not safe out there.

Besides,

His Majesty sent Mozhu to head the team,

and assist the General.

Why am I feel so weak?

Incense abounds.

What exactly happened?

It's about to dawn.
