=Dream in the Mirror= =Episode 12=

Did you miss me?

I did.

What took you so long?

Guess what I brought you today.

Where's the mirror I gave you?

Got it.

Let me see.

Not on me.

Our Miss has it.

It's from Mr. Baili.

Why give it to your Miss?

You already gave it to me. Give me that.

Give me that.

Why?

What if someone sees us?

I know a good place. Come with me.

Go. Let's go.

- Don't. - Go ahead.

Rebirth?

With this mirror?

From what happened,

yes, it is.

Jiang Beimo.

You wanted to follow the General,

but was rejected.

I gave you the opportunity,

and become who you are today.

I didn't expect

that you're so desperate for quick success.

Look at your silly words.

I wouldn't dare.

Don't make excuses for your foolishness anymore.

Su Nanyan is a martial artist, isn't she?

I don't believe,

she never feels tired.

Keep recruiting death warriors.

Put Baili Jingxing on his deathbed.

Farewell to Mr. Chancellor.

This guest,

it's Double Blossom Mirror.

I wouldn't take it out for just anyone.

So

what's special about it?

Legend has it that

it can put a person's soul

into others' body

born on the same month and date of the same year.

I see you are not nobody.

Just fifty taels for it.

Well, well.

Dare you deceive me?

I didn't deceive you.

If one day

I am in the body of someone else,

make sure you recognize me.

(Double Blossom Mirror.)

(Shouldn't it have disappeared with Zhao Qingqing?)

(How is it in the hands of Su Nanyan?)

(Baili's Mansion)

Caiwei.

Did you see my mirror?

After you returned,

I haven't seen you take it out.

Could it be left in the cell?

What's missing?

Double Blossom Mirror.

I've longed to ask

where you got this Mirror.

How could it

be in Miss Su's hands?

You got me.

Caiwei.

Do you know where this Double Blossom Mirror came from?

I, I found it somewhere.

Found it somewhere?

Are you hiding something from us?

I wouldn't dare.

Mr. Baili.

Bad news, Mr. Baili.

Mr. Baili,

Mr. Baili, Xiao'er from the clinic died.

On the day Ximen died,

he reported it.

What?

Guilt led him to suicide.

He left a blood-written note

saying that Zhao Qingqing and Divine Ximen

were killed by him.

Another scapegoat Jiang Beimo found.

It must be him.

Authority says?

Authority deemed Xiao'er as the killer,

who committed suicide out of guilt.

No, I must overturn the case.

Can you prove his crime?

Jiang Beimo is malicious.

Stop harming the innocent.

But...

Caiwei,

you're dismissed.

Yes.

It is not that simple.

Just by himself,

it's impossible for him to be so powerful.

There must be someone else

behind Jiang Beimo.

Someone else?

They all have one

clear purpose.

That is, to put me to death.

Every time you're not by my side,

assassins take bold actions that night.

Perhaps we can find some clues

from the assassinations.

Moreover,

you are now General's daughter, Su Nanyan.

It won't be as easy

to target you as it is for Zhao Qingqing.

So you must play Su Nanyan well.

Don't let anyone find out

you've no martial skills by day.

Since our enemy is Jiang Beimo,

let's find out the one behind together.

I.

You.

And Su Nanyan.

I announce,

the three of us are officially in alliance.

(Starting from today,)

(I will play the role of Mrs. Baili during the day.)

(Do not raise suspicions.)

(The protection task)

(is left to Su Nanyan at night.)

Mr. Chancellor.

Please calm down.

The hostage's return is imminent.

He is unhurt, even a hair.

How can I trust you anymore?

Mr. Chancellor.

Please give me more time.

Beimo still thinks

Double Blossom Mirror has something.

What are you still thinking about that stupid mirror for?

I promise it's true.

As things stand now,

better to believe it

than not.

I'll give you one more chance.

(Dianmo Studio)

Where's this from?

Stay out of it.

Good for you.

Get packed now.

How did the mirror return?

What's up?

This mirror

is identical to my previous find.

But I gave it away.

Why are you here?

Mr. Baili.

You can go.

Yes.

Jay.

This mirror...

I was just talking nonsense.

Do not punish me.

It's alright.

Don't be afraid.

Who did you say you gave this mirror to?

I didn't.

Jay.

Since I came to Dianmo Studio,

you're looking after me.

You are not still afraid of me, are you?

Actually,

I picked up this mirror

by accident on the carriage.

I thought it quite beautiful.

So I gave it to Caiwei from Baili's Mansion.

Does your Caiwei know

you picked up this mirror from my place?

No, she doesn't.

How could I say I picked it up?

I said it was a gift from you.

Very well.

Today,

I have another gift for you.

Really?

I know my mistake.

I lied.

Caiwei,

what happened?

Rise. Make it slow.

Mr. Baili asked me about the Mirror.

This Mirror

was a gift from Jay of Dianmo Studio.

He said

Jiang Beimo gave this mirror to him.

Is it true?

I didn't tell the truth

because I fear if the Miss knows

about my secret affair with Jay,

you would punish me.

Caiwei, we all need love.

How could I punish you?

Caiwei,

go find Jay.

Tell him I'll see him.

But I just

heard from Xiaofeng of Dianmo Studio

that Jay is no longer alive.

What?

This...

Report.

Dianmo Studio's Jiang Beimo wants to see you.

Jiang Beimo.

What brings you here this late at night?

Mr. Chancellor is having

a birthday banquet. I am specially sent to invite

Mr. and Mrs. Baili to the banquet.

Got it.

Anything else?

Caiwei,

as a servant,

you should be happy if your masters are happy,

and sad if your masters are sad.

Mr. and Mrs. Baili

enjoy such a strong bond.

Why aren't you happy?

Are you sad for something?

I happen

to have something here.

You will like it.

Si.

Send Caiwei back first.

Yes.

Caiwei.

You're not going to the banquet.

I must go.

Jiang Beimo surely has someone behind him.

We must find out

who our enemy is.

Are you suspecting

the Chancellor?

Do you remember

you once said that these assassins

appear trained by the same master?

It's time for us to take moves.
