all right barup this is

it

[Music]

here I've already taken a buck shot out

of these good now put a little gold dust

in there instead of lead Buck shut it

sounds to me like a real good deal it is

for us careful with that dust if suppli

is getting low well there's plenty more

plug that up will you yeah cuz some fool

will come along with gold fever he'll

Discover it we'll get most of it back in

a couple of

weeks yeah with a big fat profit you

know you've got to hand it to Crockett

plug that too he sure dreamed up a trap

of gold yeah he sure did didn't he now

look yeah right there that's the first

place a prospector would look for

color that was a shotgun sounded like it

now sold it down over

there shotgun fire could mean a stage

coach in trouble let's have a look come

on

ditch the gun someone's

coming see anything of a stage coach no

to do weard a shotgun sure I was firing

at a timber

wolf I hope you got him come on

[Applause]

Toro I smell a badge Toro

El Tor say if that's the fell I think it

is the other one's kid Carson now we

better tell Crockett about this get the

guns those two men were right kid I

don't see any fresh stage Co tracks with

my eyes you were right TL you heard a

shotgun so did I now let's get the T

on something for you gentlemen there's

no reason for alarm Miss I'm Kit Carson

this is El

Toro oh I'm sorry Mr Carson but well

there's been so many robberies around

here lately well looking for Mr cers I'm

sorry but my father is out right now I'm

Kate cers Sorita in the face of such

great charm andat Toro when does your

father do back any minute now then we'll

wait Toro why don't you take the horses

and get him something to eat and drink

huh well there's a livery stable right

across the street well senorita Kate I'm

a stranger here I could easily be lost

then maybe I'd better help you find it

such

hospitality

reach for

it Mr sers that's right who are you I'm

Kit Carson I got a letter for you all

right open

it

sorry Carson I can't blame you for not

taking any chances well the only branch

that hasn't been held up yet coffee yes

thank you that's why the Chief Inspector

sent me down here find The Gang That

Stole The Gold Dust officers in Lindsay

and Fort Mills oh I see you think that

the new Gold Rush is started up here

ought to attract the gang we got to cool

on one of the Outlaws he always fires a

gun like this with his middle finger

that's a funny one he was reported

headed this way well we got a few

strangers around here but no violence

yet do you know most of them oh sure

those I don't know people tell me about

you see on Sunday I do a little

preaching got a congregation and a

church and oh we did have till a month

ago and it burned down that's too bad

well first I'd like a a list of all the

newcomers and what you know about

them give the

change those men do you know who they

are yes one is called Ace and the

other's name is Barker they're the men

that first discovered gold here and

started the

rush everything went all right Mr Kett

still think those Two Fellas carry a

badge what Two Fellas well there's one

of them

now they're all looking at us the man

that runs the store is Mr Crockett he

opened up 2 days after the gold rush

started and he sells things just for

mining purposes yes and he sells them

for outrageous prices but he says if the

people are fools enough to pay what he

asks it's their Lookout I know I've seen

the Gold Fever before it takes the

reason away from me it makes him

local there still some money left from

Mountain View and I plan to K on with

the gold rush now we can look over some

likely places for

salting right down

here there may be a clue around here

somewhere I think I'll go over and talk

to the Marshall he's out in the Hills

right now you'll be back by dark well

then I'll get El Toro and pick up some

tools did you know we were Prospectors

no but I get your

dress next to you KY Senor best guide I

ever saw we found the liery stable easy

good now I'll guide you somewhere see

you later Mr s k good

luck if there's ever anything ELO can do

for you kill a bear sh a horse cut down

a tree I'll be sure an ask graas me

graas oh that should take care of

everything nicely get at it tomorrow hey

there's both those those fellas

now and one of them happens to be bad

news these kid caution yeah they're

headed this way and you get in the back

room

quick well good afternoon gentlemen good

afternoon sir we'd like to buy a couple

of things oh doing a little prospecting

huh that's right first we'll need a pan

uhhuh yeah how about these that's good

to

well I have uh blasting powder fuses

tents I've got wagons mules I can give

you a full outfit complete thanks but uh

we're just going to do a little light

prospecting how much do we owe you well

let me see you got three pieces 1 two

three that'll be

$30 $30 well in Sacramento last week I

see pans for two and pcks and shovels

for three well then I would suggest that

you buy them in Sacramento it's the old

law of supply and demand Torah there's

nothing else we can do but pay well you

see gentlemen I have a lot of money

invested in this equipment suppose that

a gold rush starts suddenly then I'm

stuck with it or everybody else is let's

go looking for some gold Toro maybe we

can find enough to pay for these things

good afternoon and come again we

will what do you think I don't like the

setup at all there's snowman I can tell

it you know Carson reputation well let's

not take a chance you get out there

right now we'll end up this Gold Rush

big and fast and clear out we'll need

more shotgun shells and Goldust here you

can fix him when you get out there

better wait for Carson and his friend to

get out of sight there's one gold mine

around here that pays well Toro where

there as an all saying more gold goes

into the ground and comes out Crockett

seems to know that $10 for a spade for

that I could buy senorita a lovely

Mana now let's go

prospecting on your way and keep your

eyes

sharp now here's one with a real heavy

load of gold out

it what you shooting at

boys F in the here was just shooting at

a

rattlesnake I've been watching I didn't

see any

snake

looks like some color in this

sand now have to summon that gun

barrel I'd say you'd been doing a little

M

salting crocket's not going to like this

what else could I do come on let's get

back to the shack

we've got to make this look good Toro TI

it in Mexico gold is sometimes found in

the bed of an old stream like over there

looks all right to

me set up camp here and Grub around k s

maybe we find some gold for

ourselves would be nice to have plenty

of money in the bank then we could

settle down forget this rough life we

mostly there' be food and plenty of

music and Senoritas sounds like you get

the Gold Fever pretty bad Toro you want

everything without working for it I

guess you're right look at the poor

people of Mountain View look at Senor

cers and his lovely daughter and look at

look at kid

look he's wearing a badge yeah it's the

Marshall he's been killed with a shotgun

shotgun those two men this morning

that's what we have to find out about

the wound's fresh so the killer can't be

far

away let's put him on your

horse I think we should try to find the

killer you take the body back to town

I'll look around for a little

bit

[Music]

I just saw Carson heading for the

[Music]

cabin don't shoot till you see what's

going to

happen

[Music]

[Music]

sh

[Music]

now what are you doing here I was

looking for help the Marshall was

murdered yeah you're the only one we've

seen around here we got a lot of Rich

Diggin we got to keep our eyes open next

time we get rough now clear

out

look like you fell off your horse no

time for jokes Toro a and Barker jump me

in that cabin where is everybody Senor

sers and K with the Marshall's

family I took this box out out of the

Marshall must have been fired at close

range

I found this while rolling around on the

cabin floor they had noticed it I have a

feeling you wouldn't be here take a look

to the same size shot that the killer

used you think it was as Barker I can't

say for sure but I can't think of a

single motive and I can't prove anything

I I'll get you some

water

I thought I'd told you there was to be

no killing we did it to save you a skin

Crockett the Marshall caught us

red-handed K Carson's on our Trail I

just saw his Horse Outside The Express

office I used my brains to think up a

foolproof scheme to take money away from

yal and you mess it up with that gun of

yours why do we mess it up no one knows

who did it or why you just told me that

Carson was on your Trail there'll be

others well let's not fight about it

there's plenty of place where we can

start gold rushes yes and you're going

to one of them today right now I'll pack

up all the equipment and I'll join you

there in a week or two well if it's a

matter of two against one but there's

also a little matter of $8 or $9,000 in

Goldust hope the espresso off is safe

and it's going to stay right

there you know I sort of hate to leave

town with that dust

there how do we start another Gold Rush

without it then where would your fancy

profits be let me have that gun I'll let

you have it Crockett it'll be a

pleasure matter of fact I'll even wrap

it up so the noise won't disturb anyone

not even you don't do it

Ace Ace don't do it you can have all the

golders don't do

this shouldn't have done that Ace well

he's been asking for it for some time

now help me get him in the back room

you know I don't want to seem too

selfish but now we only split up things

two ways I sort of had that in mind it

should be a nice tidy some to split up

cuz from the looks of things our friend

Crockett's been holding out on us what

the dust just as soon as Carson and his

friend leave the

office that poor woman Kate's doing

everything she can I understand he was

marshal for 17 years yeah and the first

murder in 17 years had to be his it was

a quiet little town to like Gold Fever

set in then everything went wrong I

tried to rebuild the church there was no

money Crockett had at all remember what

I said Toro about more gold being put

into the ground and taken out see now I

know you're right no more Gold Fever for

El Toro well we got a clue Mr sers Toro

and I are going out and check on it oh

speaking of Clues got something here

I found one of the Marshall's Pockets

full of dirt I know you fellas can

figure things out from that sometimes

have you a glass handy uh

yeah I see a trace of

color can I use that pan

please we may soon have the reason for

the Marshall's murder I'm

confused

let's have a match

to what are those black

specks those black specks of Migo or

gold I think we finally got the reason

for the murder let's go Toro let's get

out to the spot where the Marshall was

murdered

there they

go

open up the

safe I don't know the

combination better think hard and fast

go ahead go ahead but I won't open that

site open up ourselves now go lock the

door

starting the hinges

First Look Toro gunpowder Ace and Bakker

have been Sal in these locations with a

the shotgun the same shotgun we heard

and the same shotgun that killed the

Marshall s be but why I think it ties in

with Crockett and his mining supplies we

just can find that gun we've got him

let's

go

K you're right I promise you we'll find

gold dust in the barrels now we got them

by the back of the

years

[Applause]

Dad Dad she got a key dad are you in

there tell her wait a minute wait a

minute

Kate

one word out of you and will'll kill

your father relax neither one of you'll

get hurt Tire

up

here take

this too bad we're having a time to

check the rest of the stuff I just want

to get out of

here you fool now they'll know someone's

inside perhaps they're at the Marshall's

house

oh K cross an El

Coro too bad you didn't keep

going mean too bad for

you Toro noticed the way Ace hols that

gun see he pulls a trigger with his

middle finger he had you spotted for

over a month better surrender before you

shut down he's bluffing Ace I know he's

Bluff of him but I'm not I'm going to

show him how well I can shoot with that

[Music]

finger

that takes care of you

Ace time Tor it'll go easy on you if you

talk you're right about Ace take aa's

glove and look at his right hand

to it he has no trigger finger that's

why he had to use his metal finger

he's our man all right let's take a walk

to the jail you're under citizen

arrest now don't you worry about this

goal getting the Sacramento thank

goodness it'll be the last it's a bad

wind that blows nobody some good a kit

right Crockett's money is in the bank

right now nobody claims it within 30

days it's yours to build a new church

thanks kid goodbye God bless you goodbye

goodbye Kate goodbye kid a thanks to you

Toro

Sorita

Toro adios

goodbye bye

[Music]
