even a buck or a moose could take us down.

this, but I had a friend

and Charles Bennett,

me and him used to go hunting together.

Back then, I was still a
little green and we were out.

Just happened to fall asleep

for just a moment and I heard a shot.

I was startled. I woke up

and I saw Charles up against a tree.

I ran up to get a closer
look. I saw a moose sleeping.

I looked down at old Charlie.

He could barely breathe.

He was coughing on his own blood

and the last thing he said was,

there are monsters in these woods.

They came and took a look

and carried his body away,
said a moose must have done it.

had to go out looking for

that moose until I found
it and I would kill it.

- Why did you stop hunting then?

- I stopped hunting for your mother.

The only shooting she wanted
to do in the woods was on

that camera and you've taken after her.

So I've decided to leave
the animals for you.

- That's why I started photography

because it was mom's hobby

and when she died it
was like I could keep a

part of her with me.

So I'm not scared. When
I go into the woods,

I'll do whatever it takes to get the shot.

and the inmate escaped into the woods.

in white hair.

and for this reason it is strongly

associated with the northern.

of the stories remain similar

and come from Native American culture.

Many stories explain that
only the men were eaten,

not women,

but in every account it
is said to draw power

for each person.

It kills growing stronger
when it feeds on its victims.

Many American tribes describe it

as a winter spirit that
it could be summoned

in extra cold temperatures
if a human with an evil heart

or a taste for cannibalism
and pass through tribal land.

Fortunately for you,

your entire county was once tribal land

and the weather there is often
more extreme than in more geo

geographical areas.
