Who's skulking back there?

Show yourself!

Officer,

I'm too shy

to see anyone.

This...

Miss?

You look strong.

You're tall and slim.

Come on.

I'm just tall.

Don't be so rude.

Officer,

you've checked us.

Can you let us go now?

The two of you

are free to go.

But this one...

Stay.

You look quite suspicious.

You can't get in now.

Su Nian,

let's go.

Without evidence,

- why can you stop me? - What?

It's just a command from above.

We're just following it.

- Be careful. - Thank you.

Here.

- Don't worry. - Thanks.

Everything is being arranged.

- With Her Highness's help, the victims - Thank you.

- calmed down. - Thanks.

You're welcome.

Your Highness,

a girl outside the city gate looks suspicious.

Shall I bring her here?

Thank you.

Let go of me. I can walk myself.

Yueling, Yueling.

- Let him go. - Yueling.

Yueling!

- Xingyi? - Yueling!

Yueling.

Yueling.

(Why is he dressed up like this?)

Everything went smoothly on my way here.

But at the city gate of Liuzhou,

I was stopped.

If I saw you dressed up like this,

I would also detain you at the city gate.

Yueling,

do I not look good in this?

Good.

You look really good.

Oh.

You said you came with Miss Su Nian.

Why do I not see her?

Su Nian has settled down

in Madam Sang's house.

They'll do a charity show for local victims.

- Charity show? - Yeah.

They'll do music and dance

for local victims.

The House of Romance

is very famous throughout Beishuo.

I believe a lot of people will come.

After they watch Su Nian's performance,

they'll cheer up and rebuild their hometown.

Miss Su Nian is an unsurpassed lady.

I'm sure a lot of men

want to see her performance.

Yes, of course.

Xingyi.

Listen.

You had a long trip.

Madam Sang's house can't be comfortable.

Tomorrow, you invite Miss Su Nian over

to live with us.

What?

Just do what you're told.

All right.

Yueling,

don't stare at me like that.

You make me shy.

Go get changed now.

You look ridiculous.

All right.

Tell me.

What wicked idea do you have?

I know how to raise money.

You want Miss Su Nian to help us?

She is the whole point.

Su Nian,

I searched the whole yard

but didn't find Nan Xun.

Is he not kept in the North Prince's house?

He isn't found anywhere else.

He must be there.

Search more carefully

to see if there's a secret cell.

Yes.

Greetings, Your Grace.

No need of that, Miss Su.

It's really kind-hearted of you.

Now, Liuzhou is being rebuilt.

Your charity show

gave a lot of hope to local people.

You flatter me, Your Grace.

But people

need more than hope.

In Liuzhou, too many things wait to be done.

A lot of money is needed for house reconstruction

and waterway repair.

How can I help you, Your Grace?

I will do my best.

You do not hover, Miss Su.

We've invited you over

because we want you

to give another performance.

I'll invite some guests to watch and donate

to help the affected people.

I'll get well prepared.

Thank you, Miss Su.

(Rich Merchants)

(List of Rich Merchants in Liuzhou)

The list doesn't miss

any rich merchants nearby.

I guess you'll raise a lot of money.

Are you sure?

I spent a lot of time asking around

before I made this list.

I screened them

and sent invitations to the richest ones.

You're so clever, Yueling.

With your help,

Liuzhou will be rebuilt soon

and people will enjoy a stable life.

You're good, too.

These days, you work personally

to command the reconstruction of Liuzhou.

I haven't seen you for days.

Who would know

the famous North Prince in Liuzhou

used to be a useless prince?

Yueling, now,

do you still I'm useless?

I need to observe for more time.

Then here in Liuzhou,

observe carefully.

Why isn't he back yet?

(Zhao's Teahouse)

What food is this?

I've searched everywhere,

only to find the melon seeds.

And they're wet.

Make do with them.

What a terrible town it is!

Can my brother's donation really help?

Your Highness,

be careful about what you say and do here.

If others hear you,

you'll get in trouble.

Shut up.

It's just your bad idea.

Or I wouldn't be here

with even nothing to eat!

The North Prince and his future wife

really have an enviable relationship.

That's right.

They hand out porridge together.

Such a nice couple.

I hear His and Her Highnesses

will hold a charity show.

Su Nian, the best dancer in the Capital City,

is invited to perform

to raise money for victims in Liuzhou.

They're real saviors.

We people are really lucky.

Zhou Shiyu.

Ashina Zhu.

She promised to marry me.

One tried to kill me

and the other fooled me.

Your Highness,

calm your nerves.

The tea tastes good.

Whatever it may take,

I'll watch the show.

Go get prepared.

No problem, Your Highness.

I'm on it now.

Now.

Su Nian,

I've figured out

where Nan Xun is kept.

On the day of the show, stick to our plan.

Go have it arranged.

Yes.

Feels really good.

You look gorgeous, Su Nian.

You will fascinate some rich merchants.

The princess will take advantage.

Tonight, I guess these rich merchants

will have to donate a lot of money.

The donations will be used for victims.

It's a good thing.

Be very careful later.

Don't worry, Su Nian.

I will only make a mess

to distract them.

The rest will count on you.

Does Nan Xun have to be killed?

Su Nian, are you being soft?

I'll pretend you didn't say this.

I just think Nan Xun...

Su Nian, say no more.

It's just our destiny.

- Bravo! - Nice!

- Brilliant! - Nice!

- Bravo! - Nice!

Miss Su plays such beautiful music.

How enchanting!

Well, Miss Su can do

more than music.

Do you want to see her

perform something else?

Yes. Yes, of course.

- Yes. - Yes.

Thank you for inviting us, Your Highness.

Miss Su Nian

is indeed the best performer in the Capital City.

I heard she could also

dance gracefully.

I wonder if she will

perform for us

so that we can enjoy her beautiful dance.

- Yeah. - That's right.

Yeah.

She will, of course.

But Miss Su performs today

for people in Liuzhou.

It's righteous of her.

Hearing about the disaster in Liuzhou,

she couldn't eat or sleep well.

She kept worrying.

Only when she heard

rich merchants like you would donate money and things

did she cheer up

and decide to perform with gratitude.

Gentlemen, you saved her

and also the people in Liuzhou.

It's such a beautiful story.

I'd like to thank you, gentlemen.

I will

go get prepared for the dance.

I can't wait to see.

Miss Su Nian is doing so much

for our people in Liuzhou.

She's really admirable.

I decided

to donate 500 tales of silver

for her righteousness!

I'll donate 300 taels.

I'll give 100.

I'll do 200.

Me, too.

100 taels.

I'll do 50 taels.

Su Nian.

Weird. Why is she gone?

Thank you for your generous donations.

The North Prince will tell His Majesty about your good deeds

and you'll be memorialized in stone

so that people in Liuzhou

will remember your great help

for generations.

I'll give 1,000 taels.

Your Highness?

Ask people in Liuzhou to be grateful to the South Prince

instead of the North Prince.

Got it?

What are you doing here?

To get you back home.

Who are you to get her back?

You have no idea, huh?

She promised to marry me.

Too lucky for this young man.

Who would know that?

Don't be ridiculous.

Let's talk over here.

Don't ruin my charity show.

Zhou Shiyu,

you have no idea, huh?

When you were slandered for rebellion,

she became my consort.

That was my stopgap to come to Liuzhou.

What stopgap?

I don't understand.

You promised to marry me and you must do it.

Yueling, I believe you anyway.

Anyone intelligent

can see you're flirting, huh?

Assassins!

Catch the assassins!

- Let's go! - Run!

Yang Xu, it's you again!

I haven't given the signal yet!

Your Highness, they're not our men.

Come on, Zhou Zhixuan. It's you again.

Not me. I haven't smashed my cup.

Zhou Zhixuan, unless you want to die,

get your men here to help.

I'm not going to help you.

Don't try to scare me.

If I die, do you think

you can survive?

Su Nian?

Nan Xun,

I'm sorry.

What do you wish for?

I'll do it for you.

To be killed by you

will be my last wish.

You must have suffered a lot

before you became the best performer in the House of Romance.

Yeah.

I'm from a humble family

and now I'm a musician.

Who will really protect me?

Su Nian?

Female assassin?

Your Highness,

if Shiyu returns to the Capital City

and tells His Majesty about this,

you'll be the sinner

who rebels and kills his brother.

Come on, Your Highness. Do it.

It's your best chance.

You have to seize it.

But...

He saved my life just now.

Then, let's wait and profit.

Yang Xu, Yang Xu.

The cup.

Give me the cup!

Yueling, Yueling.

Yueling.

Fight.

Who said I was here to kill my brother?

I'm here to rescue him.

Take them down.

You'll be rewarded later!

Where are we?

This place is void

without anything to see.

I guess we're inside the jade pendants.

Inside?

But it has never happened before.

And our injuries are gone.

"The chosen ones meet.

Fate refreshes everything.

It won't be over

until the couple know and love."

What does it mean?

Maybe nothing unusual happened

until the pendants were stained with blood.

This aphorism

must be explaining to us

why we got the pendants

and had such adventures.

You have a point.

Then I should keep it in mind.

What if it'll help someday?

"The chosen ones meet.

Fate refreshes..."

(The South Prince)

Yang Xu.

Take me out of this trouble immediately.

Yes.

Come on.

Assassin, you can't flee!

Why is she gone?

Her eyes...

Prime Minister.

Taoist Master,

why did I

feel punchy just now?

Umm...

When I was sitting for meditation,

I also felt a trace of abnormal fluctuation.

Abnormal fluctuation?

Time is like paper.

Time fluctuation is like the crease of paper.

When the crease is unfolded,

everything goes back to square one.

Taoist Master,

can you please be more straightforward?

When time folds, everything goes still.

When time unfolds,

everything goes back to square one.

Time folds?

Taoist Master,

Was the abnormal fluctuation

caused by time folding?

Su Nian, Su Nian!

Su Nian!

Xingyi.

I'm sorry.

A female assassin broke in.

Worried about you,

I broke in hurriedly.

It's all right.

I'm here to get changed

for my next dance.

The audiences are gone.

You don't need to dance.

She has great martial arts.

I fear she would hide here.

An assassin?

I'm so scared.

Don't... Don't be scared.

I'm here.

I'll protect you.

You...

What?

Thank you for thinking of me

in such a danger.

Su Nian.

Your Highness,

it's almost cleaned up.

The assassins ran away as we outnumbered them.

The South Prince also left in the mess.

I didn't secure you, Your Highness.

Please forgive me.

You're not to blame.

I also had an oversight.

Luckily, Nan Xun is still in the secret chamber.

I had him secretly escorted back to the Capital City.

Oh,

Prince Xingyi said a female assassin

nearly killed Nan Xun in the chamber.

His Highness fought desperately

to have kept Nan Xun alive.

Female assassin?

Xingyi has improved.

Now, he can help a lot.

Go take care of everything.

We should go back to the Capital City soon.

If we linger here,

there may be more trouble.

Yes. I'm on it.

After I get the money from the rich merchants

and give it to Mr. Liu, we'll go.

I don't think it's easy to get the money.

Just now, they were scared.

I'll visit them personally.

Who dares to reject me?

Oh, you're good.

(True Virtues)

Yueling,

where's Zhou Shiyu?

Didn't you invite him to dinner?

The dishes are cold.

He isn't in his room.

He's been weird lately.

He's always out.

Where has he been?

Why did she kiss me?

Weird.

Who kissed you?

No one.

I said, "Let's eat. The dishes are cold."

All you know is to eat.

And don't call him Zhou Shiyu.

He's the North Prince.

How come you're so impolite?

Oh, you defend him.

What do you think he's busy with lately?

The reconstruction of Liuzhou

has been going smoothly.

Magistrate Liu supervises strictly, too.

He doesn't need to supervise.

Weird, indeed.

Can he be in love with some girl?

Focus on your food.

Eat and stop talking.

Li feels unwell lately.

Your Highness, will you check up today?

All right.

Let's go.

(Lee?)

Who is Lee?

Zhou Shiyu can't be

seeking pleasure from girls, can he?

(Seeking pleasure from girls?)

(Seriously?)

Yueling,

you should catch up and check.

If he's really with some girl,

you pop out

and catch him in the act.

I have no time to follow him.

We're going back to the Capital City.

I need to buy

some souvenirs.

I'm going, too.

You must not go.

If I see you run about again,

I'll get you dressed up as a girl

and send you to the guards.

I'm not going, then.

Yueling, don't be so rude.

Your Highness,

I think Her Highness is stalking us.

Shall I walk her back?

No need.

Let her be.

But Your Highness,

she will know about our plan,

won't she?

It's all right.

I was about to tell her.

All right.

What's going on here?

Isn't he going to see a Lee?

Why is he here in the wilderness?
