an important part of feedback week, the partner swap,

and it's the second morning where participants are waking up

with their new bedmates.

Adrian and I, like, just, we really didn't sleep, like, I swear.

Honestly, this place is haunted.

He was very open with Awhina about his wife

during yesterday's honesty letter task

when he revealed a comment Carina made to him in confidence.

She is a bit of a snob sometimes.

When I told Carina about Cleo, she said,

I didn't like the comment that were made

in regards to my twin sister from Carina.

Will it change my opinion of her? Yes.

There's definitely a few things that she said

I would like her to clarify.

Um, so, I guess it's probably a right time to, you know,

to bring things up and, you know, put things on the table, I guess.

Paul's obviously got some things that are eating up at him.

But now maybe he feels more, like, confident in voicing his concerns

because he's had a little bit of reassurance

that you're valid to feel that way.

And hard conversations are how relationships grow.

will allow our couples to gain an outside perspective

on their relationships so they can make informed decisions

when deciding their future beyond the experiment.

While this is confronting, it could also be the very thing

that gives our couples some much-needed clarity

over their relationships.

And the next feedback week task that Jamie and Adrian will be tackling

is the honesty letter task,

which is an opportunity for them to write their spouse a letter

detailing any concerns about the relationship.

They'll then read it to their swapped partners

for advice on how to tackle the situation.

I was very apprehensive touching on this topic

because it's something

I know my husband doesn't really like to talk about,

but I'm also like,

this is the opportunity to talk about something

that does kind of weigh on me sometimes,

and it's good to have an outsider perspective.

"Dear Dave, in every relationship, even the good ones,

"you'll always find areas to work on and topics you shy away from.

"When I reflect on our relationship, we are lucky to have so much good,

"but I'd like to expand on the goodness via sex.

"Sex, as you know, to me, is very important,

"but I have always been the one likely to initiate intimacy.

"When it's happening, we both really enjoy it,

"and that's why it makes me a little bit more confused

"as to why you don't want more of it".

So, me being a man, my mind goes to probably a few things.

And, the hardest one, he's not attracted.

Um, if I was physically and emotionally attracted to a girl,

I would want to be all over 'em, unless his sex drive is not as high,

but I... I find that hard to believe.

If you're physically attracted to someone,

and you're getting along just as well as they are,

it doesn't make sense to me why they're not having sex.

My gut feeling is telling me Dave is not as attracted to Jamie

as he makes out to be.

You got to ask yourself, do you want that in a relationship?

Like, is that actually okay? Do you want to settle?

These are things that you need to ask yourself.

Sometimes, it's good to get a perspective from someone

that's open to telling you the hard truths,

something that you might not want to hear.

Adrian doesn't hold back, and I kind of respect that about him,

but I, honestly, I never considered the potential

of like, Dave maybe not being as attracted.

Because I think to myself...

Damn, it's my skin that's been breaking out.

He's realised I'm actually a lot more paler than I went in, hey?

You know, he wants that tan again.

He's like, "Get that tan on." But...

I mean, God, I have let myself go in this marriage.

I get where he's coming from

I'm just not seeing him not being attracted to me.

So, she's using this task as an opportunity to delve deeper.

Adrian doesn't hold back, he calls it.

He pretty much is telling me I'm too ugly to root.

But, like, at the same time, I appreciate he's being honest.

the couples are tasked with reading their honesty letters again,

but this time to their spouse.

Yeah, it feels like we've written the same things.
