In upstate New York,
there's a house known as the Sister Sister House.

And it's believed to be...
extremely haunted.

According to locals,
years ago, two sisters loved a house

that sat vacant
in their neighborhood.

- They would keep an eye on it
and try to protect it... -

...from vandals
as if it were their own.

And although the sisters
have since passed away,

many believe their spirits
still hang around

inside the house
they were so fond of.

Recently, the current owners
invited three paranormal investigators over

to come see
what they could gather.

Did they just move?

And by the looks of it, it seems the rumors are true.

Upstate New York.

We're in one of
the most haunted houses in all of America.

James Montanez
and his friends Yasko and Omar

are at the Sister Sister House

recording an introduction
to their investigation.

So this house
sat vacant,

but it was
for a number of years

before somebody came through
and renovated it

and brought it back
to its original glory from the 1800s.

And even
before Omar is able to get through it,

something reaches out
via a spirit app.

As this house sat vacant...

- Knock.
- Knock.

- I hear your knocks.
- Mm-hmm.

Bro, no way.

My name is James,
and this is my video.

- Knock.
- Knock.

I hear your knocks.

Bro, no way.

I think a lot of people
would be really terrified at this time, you know?

However, it kind of
made me excited in a way

because I knew
that we had something

that's unexplainable,
that's interacting with us.

I love that
the spirit box said it first

and then the knock happened.

- Knock.
- Knock.

- I hear your knocks.
- Mm-hmm.

Because that suggests
some sort of prescience, some sort of foreshadowing.

And suddenly everything else
that's spoken or said seems way more significant.

If that's the case,
the team may want to pay extra attention

to the message
that comes through next

as they are walking
through the house.

Woah, what'd that say?
"I'm scared"?

What did that say, bro?

"Should be scared".

- Should be scared.
- Should be scared.

Why should we be scared,
except for the obvious?

And sure enough,
less than 30 seconds later...

Are you upstairs
or down in the basement?

Maybe a knock or something?

begins to vibrate.

it looked like it was about

It seemed to be
shaked angrily.

There seemed to be some force
and intent behind it.

From there,
Omar and Yasko head upstairs.

It's like an instant change.

While James checks out one of the bedrooms.

What the hell
was that?

When suddenly...

Woah!
Did you freaking see that?

No freaking way.

What the hell was that?

As a shadow figure
can be seen

moving across the mirror
in the corner of the room.

The shadow in the mirror
seems to be a person walking,

except it's not a flesh
and blood person.

I mean, we can--
We can see through it.

It's transparent.

But it's-- It's dark
and not a fully formed person.

Seeing whatever it was
in that mirror

and then seeing the camera
pan over to where it should have been...

Did you
freaking see that?

...and seeing
just an empty room

and panning back
demonstrated to me

that whatever
was in that mirror,

might not be present
on our side.

Oh, this place
is one of the most legit, insane places I've ever been.

Freaked out,

James meets up
with Omar and Yasko,

and together they head
to the basement to have a look around

where things get
even more terrifying.

Bro, look! Look at the chairs.
Look at the chairs!

What, what?

No way, bro.

Hanging chairs
start swinging on their own.

It was
just absolutely crazy.

Because it's almost
as if something came through the room

and, like, swiped at
all the chairs.

No way, bro.

Not only were they all moving,

but there was tons
and tons of dust particles

as if somebody ran
through the room.

We could be seeing
what looks like a layered haunt.

You could have
two paranormal phenomenas going on at the same time,

but they're not totally aware
of each other.

- Knock.
- Knock.

You'll have
an intelligent haunt

that can interact
with the investigators

and respond through EVP,
knocking as well.

And then you have
this poltergeist activity...

Did that just move?

...that just seems
to interact with the objects around.

It doesn't really seem
to be sentient at all,

but has the capability
to move physical things.

Whatever category
this haunting falls into at the Sister Sister House,

it's more than enough
to send the team packing.

No,
I can't do this, man.

Dude, let's--
Let's go. I'm done.

That's the moment
when we were all like, you know what?

We've had enough.

It was time for us to go.
We had to get out of there.

Luckily,
James, Omar and Yasko get out of the house safely.

And even though
their investigation was cut short,

James feels they gathered
enough evidence

to prove that
either the sisters

or perhaps some other spirits,

have staked their claim
to the house.

You know, I've been
to a lot of places, filmed a lot of stuff.

This is one of
the most craziest ones that we had ever been to,

one of the most
insane experiences we've ever had.

And honestly,
I was happy to be leaving.

A beloved dog materializes

through its ashes.

A casting ceremony
is when a loved one's ashes are released into the world...

usually in a meaningful spot,

as a way of symbolizing
their spirits passing on into the next life.

And while this is most often
thought of as a way for those

who take part in the ceremony
to say their final goodbye,

many believe it can also allow
the spirit of the departed

to do the same.

Just ask one woman
in California,

who spread her beloved dog's
ashes at her favorite park...

from her in return.

had her beloved dog Biscuit for 12 years,

considering her,
as many with pets do,

a vital part of the family.

Biscuit, the love of my life,

I adopted her
from an animal shelter

when she was about
one years old.

So Biscuit and I lived
a lot of life together.

She was with me
through thick and thin,

cross country moves, breakups,

in love with my husband,
got married.

We moved into a house.
We now have two kids.

Then one day,
the unthinkable happens.

I was outside on the patio
with my young kids playing,

and I opened the door.
I came inside and...

She was laying
in one of her favorite spots,

which is on the bottom
of the stairs.

I took one look at her,
and said, "Oh my God, Biscuit's gone."

So that was--
That was Biscuit's last day

which was different
than I ever thought it would be.

You know, I always thought
I'd have that--

That special goodbye,
that final walk, that final meal.

Several months later,

long after Biscuit
has been cremated,

Natalie decides
she's finally ready

to say her last goodbye.

So my husband suggested,
you know,

"How about we go
to her favorite park?"

Which I had been
wanting to go to,

but wasn't quite ready...

So that's what we decided
to do that day.

As Natalie prepares
to toss the ashes,

her husband records
with his phone.

Watch very closely.

Did you see it?

As Natalie tosses
the ashes into the air,

a shape emerges

that looks
remarkably like Biscuit,

which neither of them notice
until they watched the video later that night.

And Natalie is floored.

It was like
a visceral reaction.

I couldn't even
look at it again,

and for like a good minute,
until I had composure.

You can see, you know,
the ashes going up,

kind of like,
snaps into her form and they fade away.

And that took my breath away.

The more I looked at it,
the more shocked and in disbelief I was

because it really does
look like her.

Not just a dog,
but it looked like Biscuit.

This one got me.

I see the dog.
It gave me chills.

It struck a nerve with me.

And I don't think
that it was just

some random pattern
of ashes in the air.

I think maybe
it was a sign of Biscuit

saying hi to its loved ones.

If you look closely
at the ashes,

you can see what looks like
the outline of Biscuit.

And if you look even closer
to the front legs,

you can see what looks like
the legs are running.

The randomness of it all,

the statistical probability

of all those particles
of matter arranging themselves

in just the right way
to form that shape...

are astronomical.

But it happened and we saw it.

So is it a sign?

...that moment
was...

Her way of saying,
"Bye. I'm okay.

I have to go now."

And it just brings me comfort.

I gave my dog
lots of hugs after seeing this video,

but the idea that
just that last little message

of I'm still here,
I'm still with you.

And I think the remains
of a living being remembering its living form,

there's something
really poignant about that

that this short video
just captures perfectly.

This moment
did feel special.

I will never forget it
for the rest of my life.

But it was important for me
to be able to move on.

And when I share it
with other animal lovers,

I feel that
they are comforted as well.

as Gavin inexplicably
falls forward,

as if shoved
by an unseen force.

When Chris had sent me
the video,

I finished up what I was doing
to come right back home.

And we were both like,
this is just not normal.

It was obvious
that something pushed him.

He even looks back
in the video.

You know, like,
something had done that.

It just made me think,
you know, there's something

that we can't see
that's going on here.

It's just unsettling.

When you slow
the video down,

it looks as if
the baby's knees come all the way off the ground

as it's pushed forward.

It's kind of
a very unnatural motion

for a child
to lurch forward like this

and to get air, so to speak.

What clinches this one
for me is that the child's immediate reaction

is to turn around
and look behind them.

And say, "Who did that?
What was that? "

I mean, they would know
if they had tripped.

What they seemed to know
is that something pushed them.

Though they have
no idea what or who it could have been,

Mom and Dad are just hoping
it never happens again.

It's just scary, and I hope
no one ever has to go through that

because you want
to protect your children, you know.

is parked in her car

when her toddler Elijah
tells her that he can see something in a tree.

Okay. What were you telling me
about the tree, honey?

What? The tree is dead?

Why do you think
there's a girl dead?

My name is Ashley,
and this is my video.

He just kept saying, "I see a girl in a tree."

And I was like,
"There's nothing there."

And he's like,
"Yeah, she's there. She's dead."

I was like,
okay, this is getting weird.

Honey, there's nobody
in the tree.

You can
see somebody? -

Are you sure?
I don't see anybody, honey.

You see a girl?

I don't think
there's a dead girl in the tree, baby.

There's nothing in the tree.

I was trying to find anything
that could look like a girl,

that he would be
thinking was a girl.

But there was nothing
that I could see.

Honey, there's nobody
in the tree.

This one is creepy in the way
that little children casually

saying super disturbing stuff
is inherently creepy.

At first, it seems
sort of benign.

Like, " Hey, look,
there's a girl in that tree."

You see a girl?

And then
he follows it up

by saying quite comfortably
and frankly...

How would he know that?

I'm going to take
a guess and say

that this child has not seen
a large number of dead bodies.

So where does
that knowledge come from?

He wasn't
scared at all.

He was just like, "Mom,
there was a dead girl in the tree.

Why can't you see her?"

Like, he was frustrated
with me

that I wasn't seeing her.

So what is it about little ones like Elijah,

who claim to see something
that adults cannot?

There is a thought
in the paranormal field

that kids in particular
are more sensitive to the supernatural

because they haven't
been taught yet

to put up those barriers.

And you can almost
t think about it

- like if you move
to a new city. -

- When you first move there,
you're going to hear... -

- ...and be aware
of everything around you. -

Eventually, we learned
to habituate those noises

because we have
to get on with our day.

We can't constantly
be distracted.

But kids haven't learned
that yet.

So as they're growing up,

they're just kind of
absorbing everything.

If that's the case,
Ashley is looking forward

to Elijah growing out
of this particular stage.

I've always believed that, like, kids and babies can see

more than we can.

But I don't know.
He was two and a half.

I'm not just gonna be like,
"Yeah, there's a dead girl over there."

It just seems like
a really big burden to see dead people.

I just don't want that
for him.

there are often times
when their enthusiasm and wonder

But after seeing
one's fair share of these moments...

it just changed angles.

It's got lit up.
It's lit up! It's lit up!

...it's possible
the appreciation

of their real life impact
might begin to fade.

Which is why it's good
to remind ourselves

that when someone sees a UFO
for the first time,

their entire perception
of the way things are in this world

is completely turned
on its head.

And their new life,
for better or worse...

...starts from that point on.

Alicia Yantz
and her nephew West are watching the sunset

from a rooftop along with
some other family members

when something in the distance
grabs their attention.

Jess.
Look at my camera, Jess.

What is it?

It's a bulbous,
metallic looking object

moving steadily
across the sky.

It's a UFO.
You guys, we're seeing a UFO.

And as it continues
to soar past them...

Look at it
in my camera.

It looks like what you see
on the documentaries.

...Alicia and West
are blown away.

- My name's Alicia.
- And my name is West.

And this is our video.

I saw this, like,
floating orb in the sky,

and I just yelled,
"Everyone, look. There's a UFO!"

I didn't know what to call it.

No, it's not.
Look at my camera, Jess.

The shape of the UFO
was like a walnut.

It looked really weird.

And when
I reviewed the video...

...which blowed me away.

What really kind of
fascinates me about this clip is

when you first see
this object in the sky

for the first several moments,

it seems to look
a particular way.

Toward the middle
all through the ending of the clip,

this object now, to me,
looks very different.

It seems to have,
like, a little mirage,

or like, kind of
heat signature around it.

And as you keep looking at it,

it goes from being
like an "O" shape

to kind of turning into,
like, a diamond shape or oblong type shape.

It's flying
closer to us.

It didn't have any sound
to it at all, which was so weird.

It, like, blew our mind.

That's why
we were calling it a UFO

because we couldn't hear
a motor.

We couldn't see a motor.

It was just floating
above the 5 freeway,

just like on the same plane.

Like, it never went up,
never went down and just really smooth.

It didn't look like anything
we had ever seen before.

Mary, look at it in my camera.

It looks like what you see
on the documentaries.

You could probably
blow this off

as some kind of a balloon
caught in the wind, but it's not.

It has a direct
propulsion line.

Something is moving
this along,

and it's probably a lot larger

than it looks
in this video camera.

And as bizarre as it is,

it's not the first time
something like this

has made an appearance
in this area.

What's really striking to me
is that this looks

very similar to footage
captured in March 2021,

in nearby Oceanside,

which was featured right here
on this show.

Yeah.

I suspect
there has to be parallels

between two clips captured
in nearly the same spot

under very
similar weather conditions.

I think that's too much
of a coincidence to dismiss.

I get a lot of reports
from Southern California

where you have
a lot of naval ships,

bases, marine bases,
all the presence that's there.

The theory is that
if there's an intelligence

that wants to know
what we're doing,

they might come check out
the military activity.

This object,
we could argue, might be

some sort of surveillance
of some sort.

We don't know.

Wherever it's from,

and whatever its reason
for being here,

it's left a lasting impression

on Alicia and West.

It was a shock.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

It was crazy.

I definitely believe
there's other life forms out there.

How they appear to us,
I don't know.

Um, but I feel like
what we saw

was something
that was really amazing.

And we're just so happy
that we saw it together. - Yeah.

It was such a cool experience
to experience with our family.

It was the best thing
that ever happened to us.

But it was really scary, too,
at the same time. -

Two friends in California...

...spot
a ghost on a ride.

No one's on there.

In 1924,

the Santa Cruz Beach
Boardwalk,

debuted the Giant Dipper,

a wooden roller coaster

that still operates today...

...despite
a tragic past.

Shortly after opening,

as the coaster went down
its first dip,

a 15-year-old boy stood up,
fell out of the ride

and was subsequently
crushed on the tracks.

In the years since,

three others have also died
on the ride.

And some park goers

claim to have seen
one or more of their spirits in the area.

And while most believe
the haunt is centered on the roller coaster,

two women
on a recent late night stroll

think they captured
one of the ghosts

taking its chances

on another ride.

No one's on there.

Is there?

Summer 2019,
Santa Cruz, California,

it's almost midnight.

And Jalyn Rich and a friend

are walking by the Santa Cruz
Boardwalk amusement park,

which is closed
for the night...

when they noticed
that one ride called the Double Shot

is still operating
without any passengers on board.

Perplexed, Jalyn takes out
her phone

and starts to record.

Okay.
But the boardwalk closed, like, half an hour ago.

Watch very closely.

No one's on there.

Is there?

Did you see it?

Watch again. Zoomed in.

As the ride comes into view,

there seems to be a passenger

who gradually...

disappears.

And Jalyn and her friend,
are totally freaked out.

My name is Jalyn,
and this is my video.

It looked
as if there was a human figure

sitting in one of the seats
of the ride.

You could see shoulders.

You could see
what looked like a head.

They were wearing
some kind of sweatshirt,

and you could see
almost a full outline

of what looked like
a human body.

And as the ride
progressively went down,

you can see it start
to dissipate before your eyes.

I 100% think it was a ghost.

You can make out
a face and a body.

It looks to me like it has
some kind of cloak on it,

like draped in black,

kind of... kind of like
the Grim Reaper.

If you look closely,
this figure

really doesn't even look like
it's sitting in the chair.

It looks like
it's sort of behind it.

And as the ride
is coming down,

that figure slowly sinks down
behind the chair.

It's as if to say, "Uh-oh.
They saw me. Time to disappear."

Even more bizarre
for Jalyn

is the fact that the ghost
is not visible

with the naked eye.

So we're both looking
into the camera,

and that's when
we both noticed

at the same time this figure.

But when we turned around,
there was nothing there.

We turned back,
you could still see it in the phone screen,

but we had both just
turned our heads and looked at the physical ride

and there was
absolutely nothing.

No one's on there.

Is there?

This is not uncommon.

Oftentimes paranormal activity

is captured
on electronic devices

that we're not privy to
with our given five senses.

It seems
as if the electronic device

acts as a conduit
where that makes these things

more perceivable to us,

And in this case,

it became perhaps a window

into some of the boardwalks'

darkest days.

So I grew up in the Bay Area,

going to the Santa Cruz
Beach Boardwalk.

The ghost stories that I know
from growing up going there

were entirely focused

on the one big
wooden roller coaster.

The first death, I believe

happened shortly
after it was built.

And a young man stood up,

fell onto the tracks and died.

People who claimed
to have sat next to him on the roller coaster,

operators of the rides
seemed to have seen him

or interacted with him
and been told later

that there wasn't
actually anyone there.

At least four people
have lost their lives

falling from the coaster
and landing on the tracks below.

There's also accounts
of people seeing spirits

both above the boardwalk
and underneath in the tunnels.

So is this video evidence
of one of those spirits still walking around

and I guess enjoying itself
on the rides? I don't know.

But a lot of people believe
this is a very paranormal active location.

And after her experience,

Jalyn considers herself
one of the believers.

I have replayed
that video over and over again.

I've zoomed in on it.
I've played it frame by frame.

And the more
that I revisit that

and just the feeling
that I got once we noticed the figure on the ride

and it was just--
It's an indescribable experience,

and I have absolutely
no doubt in my mind that,

um, the paranormal
is 100% real.

in China...

...spark fear
of an alien attack.

When we think
of encountering otherworldly life forms,

what might come
most often to mind

are terrifying creatures
of the night.

Or little green gray men...

disembarking from their ship.

But there are those
who believe some otherworldly beings

have found
a much more effective way

to blend in

by imitating
a natural phenomenon

that is hard
for most of us to grasp

in the first place.

That's what
might have been happening one night in China,

when local residents witnessed
a barrage of flying orbs...

so baffling
they're still reeling

from the effects.

February 15th,
2024, in Deyang, China,

several onlookers
in the street are taken aback

by a stunning sight
in the night sky.

And one of them grabs
their phone and starts recording.

It's a mass
of glowing objects

that, though at first
could be mistaken for a flock of some sort,

quickly takes
on the characteristics

of something
much more mysterious.

Are they lights,
or are they creatures of some kind,

or are they
all part of one creature?

People who witnessed this

are definitely acting
as if it's nothing they've ever seen before,

so I don't get the feeling
that this is necessarily

some indigenous form
of wildlife species

that happens to do this
on occasion.

This is really
a bizarre manifestiation

of, I hesitate to even use
the term nocturnal lights

because this is unlike
any other sort of light in the sky UFO I've ever seen.

Although individually they appear small,

collectively, these things
make up a very large phenomenon.

Now, a lot of times
we're thinking about

visiting
extraterrestrial life.

in the form
of a massive mothership.

But what if
we are visited by alien life

that is appearing
in smaller crafts?

We think UFOs,

we instantly think
of flying saucers,

but the number one
type of craft

or objects that people
are seeing are these orb-like objects.

Objects
that collectively according to witnesses

stretch out
to 1,600 feet in length.

And seem
to cause genuine concern

among some
of the people watching.

If I saw something,
there was 1,600 feet,

moving slowly through the air,

I might as well
as you might think

that this might be
an alien attack.

Or perhaps
less of an attack.

And as its next move
seems to suggest

more of a conversation

of sorts.

That moment
where they're just circling the moon,

it just seems to me that
the movements of whatever

all these glowing items
are in the sky,

they seem to be very symbolic.

Is it trying
to communicate something?

Is it trying
to convey something?

I'm not necessarily sure,
but it doesn't seem to me

that anything naturally
occurring in nature

would be having
movements like that

and patterns like that.

And maybe
its otherworldly traits

suggest something
more mythological than extraterrestrials.

I read that
some of the commentary from the local folks

who were looking at this
were saying this is a dragon in the sky.

And I can see why dragons
traditionally are understood

to be these
incredibly beautiful

and awe-inspiring creatures,

and that this sort of
undulating movement

that this cloud
of lights gave us

would mimic
the sort of serpentine body

of a traditional dragon
moving across the sky.

We could be seeing
one of the sources of dragon lore.

Whatever it is,
it eventually fades away into the night sky.

And while
the people who witnessed it

still don't have
any definitive answers as to what it could be,

they might be looking
a little more closely

the next time they come across
a supposed natural phenomenon.
