The employees
of a local office

are experiencing strange
and unsettling activity in their workplace.

So paranormal enthusiast
Cody Church

is brought in to investigate
for a couple of weeks after hours.

My name's Cody Church
and these are my videos,

and I'm actually
sitting in the office where I filmed the videos.

Weird stuff
had been happening,

like people feeling like
they weren't alone and things like that.

Even one of the owners,

she felt uncomfortable
being here by themself.

I'll start again tomorrow,
maybe,

and we'll see what...

Cody hopes to find
some answers for them.

During the investigation,

he is able to monitor
the office's security camera system.

And he also sets up
a few of his own cameras to cover any gaps.

Incredibly,
over the first few nights,

he catches
some startling activity...

from the break room...

To one of the offices.

This is a really
intense set of clips

because we see
what starts off as indicators of sort of a typical,

if we can use that word
in these circumstances,

haunting, where objects
are moving,

doors are opening and closing
and a chair is spinning.

But that is nothing
compared

to what Cody catches
a few days later while alone in the office

making a video update
for social media.

Watch closely.

I'm just tired, you know,

there's absolutely
nothing here this time.

Did you catch that?

Watch again, in slow motion.

Right behind him
is what looks like a female form with pale skin,

sunken dark eyes
and long hair hanging over her face.

This is top-shelf creepy,
creepy stuff.

I gasped out loud
because this is not an office worker.

This is not someone
who's employed in this place, obviously.

Cody doesn't see the face,

until shortly
after he posts the video.

It was actually
one of my Tik Tok followers that first told me was like,

"You're not alone."
And I was still here.

Freaked out,

Cody runs
to the security camera room to check all of the feeds.

And that's when he discovers
something,

even more distressing.

Keep your eyes
on the dark corner of the office,

as what appears
to be a ghostly white face swirls next to the desk.

We clearly see motion here,
it's a large form,

and it looks like
it is lurking in the corner, in the shadows,

and yet the motion sensor
doesn't pick it up.

It almost looked like
it was stepping through the doorway

and stepping back in,
stepping through, then stepping back in.

I found myself
thinking it looks like

an apparition attempting
to emerge into our world

or into our dimension
from somewhere else,

but sort of constantly
being pulled back in.

Did you see that?
It disappeared.

I'm going over.

Cautiously,
he heads to the office.

Let's do it.

Listen again,
as an otherworldly,

guttural scream...

...ends
Cody's investigation for the night.

Uh,
I'm not going to do this by myself.

It almost sounds like
a metal band scream with a woman's voice.

What on earth was that?

That sounds like
a demonic presence.

It sounds like a, like a demon
from another dimension or something.

I think any time that you deal
with something like this, it's demonic.

I usually
don't get intimidated or really afraid,

but actually got up
and just left.

But... the following week,

he musters up the courage
to return and complete the investigation.

This time,
with his good friend, Eric.

And while Eric stands
in the doorway of the office,

where Cody heard
that terrifying scream...

Then the door shut in my face
and Eric got kind of spazzed out.

I think
this was his first time

actually seeing something
like that happen.

When that door shut
between Cody and his friend,

Eric, it was to me a message
that it didn't want either of them there.

It... it was using that door
as a way to say,

"Hey, it's time to go."

And if that message
isn't clear enough,

just moments later,
something gives an encore.

That's when you get out,
that's when it's time to go.

It was one of those jump
scare moments 'cause,

like,
I really wasn't expecting it.

And honestly,

the first thing
that I thought about,

"Man, if they come around
that corner, we're dead."

my name is Chad Gassert,

and I'm the one
that shot the video.

I was actually home alone
and...

I've heard,
I've heard it before,

like the ticking on the glass,
it's straight out of a movie,

you know,
somebody that taps on a glass.

So it's kind of creepy.

I decided to just jump up
and start recording.

But before
he's even able to press record,

he sees one of the dolls...
move.

And it happens again,

this time on camera.

Watch again, in slow motion,

as a large doll moves toward
the glass and taps it.

Chad hightails
it out of the house.

I kind of got like
a chill through my body,

like, you know, cold chill.

I went outside,
took a breath and thinking,

you know, this...
this really just happened.

And what's even more chilling,

when Chad reviews the footage,

he notices
after the doll moves forward,

it then moves back
to its original position,

all on its own.

It actually looks like
it leans and then goes right back into place.

That kind of did it for me,
too.

When it leaned, you know,
it should have just stayed there.

It shouldn't have just moved
right back into place.

And that's not all.

When Chad comes back inside,
he begins to record again,

trying to make
sense of what happened.

Guys, I'm literally
the only one that's here right now.

My wife is gone.

Oh, my God, dude.

Watch again,
as the second doll...

moves on its own.

This time,
Chad checks out for good.

As soon as that happened,

I had to pull away
from that one.

So I left for a little bit.

I drove around, whatever,
went and visited family.

I really
didn't want to come back here at that time.

He finally tells his wife he will come back home

only under one condition...

they move the dolls.

So the dolls
are no longer there.

They're just locked up
in a spare bedroom.

I moved the entire case
into bedroom.

If I had these dolls
in my home,

either I wouldn't be
in that home anymore

or they wouldn't be
in that home anymore.

I do think that these dolls
are asking for something,

they're moving,
they're leaning.

They are making it obvious
that they are trapped in this small space.

Seems to me
they want to be untrapped.

Something like a doll
that is supposed to be lifeless,

it's supposed to be
nonexistent...

and to see not just
one of these dolls move,

but several of them together
in this little container of this glass,

uh, was one of the creepiest
things I've seen.

I've asked my wife
and she wanted to get rid of 'em.

No. I mean, I understand
because her grandma made them when she was a baby.

And with such
a personal 30-year family history,

perhaps activity like
this is almost to be expected.

In general, we interact
with dolls physically,

we're handling them
constantly

and it is said
that we imbue them with a psychic residue.

Then when you consider
an antique doll that has been passed down,

that's multiple people
over time that have interacted with this thing.

So maybe
there is a lot of energy connected to it.

There could also be
a spirit attachment to that doll

that used to be a living,
breathing person.

So maybe that could be
the reason

why we see that object
kind of moving is

because this is the energy
grasping to hold the doll with...

out having an actual body.

Whatever happened
in the Gassert household,

Chad's vowed to move on,
even while the dolls stay put.

They're still
in the glass case.

I haven't,
I haven't touched it since we've moved.

It was, it was creepy,
I'm not going to lie about that.

But as far as, you know,

living in this house
or whatever,

it hasn't really changed much.

pulsating lights moving across

From what we could see
with our own eyes,

they were a yellow
orange-ish kind of color,

kind of like a fireball.

There was probably
between like five or seven,

like,
in a group in that formation,

but they kept coming
one by one

and just they kept coming.

I'm having a weird...

And when a few
of the lights begin to blink out,

right over the Stewarts' home,
they start to fear the worst.

This is not normal.
They turned their lights out, babe.

but you could still see them, like they're not really...

They're right
above our house.

I will say it gave us
this fear,

like they can...
they're watching you.

That is
the most terrifying thing I've ever seen in my life.

I was having a heart attack.

they're above the house.

They're moving around.

I think we need to go inside.

But before running for cover,

they run
to the neighbor's house...

what they are seeing.

And their neighbors
are just as freaked out as George and Hillary.

pattern of a series of lights in the sky,

blinking
in and out of visibility.

But what's really compelling
for me is the reaction of the witnesses.

This is not something
they are used to seeing in the skies above their home.

They are here.

At first,
I thought that these lights in the sky

might just be something
as simple as sky lanterns.

But when the couple says
that they can still see them after their lights go out...

They turned their lights out, you could still see 'em.

A sky lantern,
when the flame burns out, uh,

it falls out of the sky.

But we are freaking
the out.

UFOs.

Clearly,
George has a very strong idea about what he's seeing.

I feel like these things
are not from here.

I feel that way.

If these lights are
extraterrestrial in nature,

then why would
they be presenting themselves so obviously to us?

Maybe the frightened
reaction of these eyewitnesses is precisely why.

this couple filming them

and turn their lights off
so that they're more obscured,

So it was like really creepy.

Disturbed,
but not wanting to scare the girls,

until their oldest daughter,
Elena,

who was nine at the time,

starts having
trouble sleeping.

Elena kept saying,

"Mom, something's bothering
me at night.

I can feel something like
trying to wake me up or trying to tickle me."

And that scared me, too.

And Celsa gets
even more scared

when she checks
the security camera installed

in the girl's bedroom
and sees this.

The blanket
on the bed is moving on its own,

tugged hard enough
to disrupt the sleeping girl.

There's no fans
in her bedroom,

and there's nothing
that could have made that happen or made that move.

Yeah, there's no windows.

So we were,
we were just looking at it like,

"What is that?"

Two weeks later,
it happens again,

but this time
while Elena's younger sister,

Ariana, two at the time,
is playing in the room.

And on this night,

the blanket
on Elena doesn't stop moving.

She couldn't move
her legs in the fashion that the blanket moved

because either
she wasn't tall enough

because they were at the end
or else you could tell her legs

were over to one side.

I'm looking
at that child sleep in the bed,

and in order
to move even your foot in the slightest way,

you'd be shifting your hips,
your legs, your knees.

The bed would move,
the blanket would shift.

But we're not seeing that.

The child
is absolutely dead asleep.

There's something else
manipulating it.

Even spookier,
while the blanket moves,

Ariana seems to be
speaking to someone...

who isn't there.

The fact
that the two-year-old actually hands her phone

to what looks like
nothing to our eyes.

She holds it out as though
passing it off to someone else or showing it to someone else.

That really seems to highlight
that she seems to think

there is someone
or something else in that room.

To her,
there was somebody else with her.

It was nerve-wracking.

I...
it was a very scary feeling.

It doesn't seem
like this little girl is particularly frightened

by whatever she's speaking
with...

...which suggests to me
that she's familiar with it.

She's used to seeing
this thing.

And that's not all
that unusual.

It seems like
there are a lot of kids that speak

to what we dismiss
as an imaginary friend.

But what if those friends
are not so imaginary,

they're just unseen by us,
grown-ups?

And what if what it's doing is not so harmless?

I thought
it was very odd

that the sleeping sibling
wasn't moving at all.

And what we could be
witnessing here

is in order for the spirit
to manifest

for the other girl
to see in a way and have a communication,

maybe the spirit is pulling
energy from the sleeping child

and maybe she's not
able to really wake up.

Maybe she's feeling drained
because of that energy

that's being literally
sucked out of her.

Terrifying.

After a few more
disturbing incidents,

the family makes
a dramatic decision.

Elena came in our bedroom

and said that somebody
had threw a book out of her closet,

not just like it fell
out of the top shelf,

but it threw a book,
like phew!

Unfortunately,

whatever it is they are trying
to get away from seems to move with them.

When we moved
out of that house,

it was here and we're like,
"No!"

But we could never
catch it live,

but we saw
it after watching the cameras.

A lot of the time
when there are spirit attachments,

it doesn't matter whether
or not you move to a different space

because those energies
will follow you.

what it is,

We learned
that there was witchcraft

and necromancy being
practiced in that cabin.

There were some, like,

strange occurrences
that were happening around, so...

That's kind of what sparked
the interest for us.

The pair divide
their investigation into two nights.

Night one,
armed with handheld cameras, rempods,

and a device
with preprogramed words

that spirits
can communicate with.

They begin exploring the cabin
and calling out to any spirits around.

Are we talking
to a witch?

It doesn't take
long to get a response.

Soul.

Dude,
I heard that.

Something is in this cabin,

and it's doing a lot more...

than just making noise.

Everything was turned around,
the flashlight was swinging,

the coffee table
was moved over two,

three feet away from me
in the kitchen.

Holy.

You can see that the guitar
was completely flipped around in its spot.

Look at that,
it wasn't like that.

The movement of this guitar
is really quite drastic.

We see it facing forward,

and as soon as they turn
their backs to exit the room,

you hear a lot of commotion.

They turn around
and then that guitar is turned backwards.

I have a bad
feeling in here, dude.

And the strange
activity doesn't stop there.

Oh, my God!

Oh, man.
I'm freaking out.

Oh!

Holy.

Oh, man.

So, Jordyn and Johnny make a bold decision.

An attempt to communicate

using a little ritual magic
of their own.

Jordyn is blindfolded
and surrounded by a circle of salt.

You can speak with Jordyn,

but you cannot cross
the salt circle.

The whole idea
of a salt circle is a protection circle

used by witches
when they cast a circle of protection.

But to be honest,

if he becomes the conduit
channeling those energies,

that salt circle
is not going to protect him

because he's turning himself
into a giant battery

that's channeling
all this information.

A chair is placed
outside the circle,

an invitation
for spirits to join them.

A rempod is placed
on the chair.

Come sit in this chair.

They're here.

The place was used
for witchcraft and rituals,

so there could be
some kind of attachment left to the building.

It's not just things
being tossed around a room,

it seems to be there.

It wants
to kind of communicate with them somehow.

What do you want?

What it wants
during the ritual is unclear,

that is until the next night.

When a static camera
on the first floor catches

what could be
the manifestation of the spirit

they were communicating with.

That shadow that we see
in the doorway was extremely creepy,

and it seemed to behave
in a strange fashion,

almost unhuman-like
and maybe more like

something that would be
considered demonic.

And possibly
something that could cause some serious harm,

because not long after...

That bang at the door?

- What happened?
- I don't know.

- I felt like pushed.

by an unseen force.

It almost felt like
a sweep of the legs from behind.

It was terrifying.

I don't know,
it felt like I got pushed.

I thought he fell
and I felt it get cold in the cabin right away.

And like, I went
and saw and was like,

sure enough,
the door was open and he's on the ground.

Was the door open
before or after you fell?

I don't know, man.

It could have been
that Johnny had this moment

where he walked straight
into a line of energy as it was manifesting.

That's why you see
the door opening as it did,

and he could have straight up
walked through this entity as it was coming in at him.

Whatever's happening here...

...and whether
or not it has anything to do with the ritual...

a man in Mexico captured something on camera

that not only seems
unafraid of fire,

it can walk right through it.

Sonora, Mexico.

A man is out walking
late at night

when he spots a small
but raging fire between a car and a home and starts to film.

Then something
remarkable happens.

Watch...

as a childlike figure
emerges within the flames...

and casually
walks through them.

How can this be?

WTF.

I mean, what is this?

It's so brief,
but it is so compelling.

We see very clearly

a human like figure emerge
within the flames.

This is truly mind-bending.

It's this inky black figure,

and it appears to be
about the size of a child.

But there's something
wrong about it.

Obviously, a child can't be
standing in this roaring fire.

This was totally bizarre.

We know for a fact
that no human can walk through a fire

like that and survive.

But if not a human,
what exactly are we seeing here?

The world is full of belief in fire creatures,

fire lizards, fire elementals,

spirits
that are made of flame,

that move through
the world as flame.

There is nothing to say
that elemental spirits

cannot take on the shape
of a human being for the sake of making contact.

Maybe this is something that's demonic

or from that realm
where it can emerge from the fire,

because something clearly
walks out of this

as if it's come through
some sort of doorway.

If perhaps this is just
a trick of the eye, and that's a child standing

between the camera
and the flames.

It still doesn't behave
the way you would think a child would.

Being in such close proximity
to a roaring fire,

I think most people would be
a little more cautious not to get burned.

Unless, of course,

whatever this is can't feel
the fire.

Wouldn't it be strange
if this creature was there the entire time,

invisible, and whatever caused
the fire caused it to reveal itself,

perhaps caused it to
become visible that the flame

in some way interacted
with its molecules to literally char it

so that the human eye
could detect it.

Anything's possible,

but whatever it was seemed
to disappear with the fire,

meaning the mystery
will remain, at least for now.
