has a long, dark past

and is believed to be plagued
by many evil spirits.

It's been said that
three priests passed away

inside the building,

one of whom was murdered.

During recent renovations,

there were reports
of phantom footsteps...

doorknobs jiggling...

and dozens of people

were scratched
by an unseen force.

Over the years,

many investigators
have gone to the Rectory,

including two young men
from Illinois...

who walked away
with more evidence

than they could handle.

to conduct an overnight

at the Sedamsville Rectory.

My name is Joe
and this is my video.

The feeling when I walked
into the building

was probably the most
disgusting,

most, like, palpable,
horrible feeling.

Me and Tyler both walked in
and we were like,

"No. Nope. This is weird.

This is really weird."

But Joe and Tyler
drove four hours to get here.

So, they put those feelings
aside and carry on

with an EVP session
in the parlor room

where the priests who used to
live here would wake bodies.

Who's here with us right now?

After several
minutes of silence,

Tyler makes a suggestion.

Joe's response
is startling.

During that moment,

I felt hypnotized.

I felt, like, conscious

but unconscious
at the same time.

It was like,
I was, like, numb almost.

This was really
interesting to watch.

It was so clear that
his internal focus

was somewhere other than
the actual moment

that they were in.

It's as though
someone else

is speaking through him.

And that distraction
and that confusion,

those are really
significant signs

of a possible possession.

As they head
upstairs to continue the investigation,

I felt like one big
static shock

dragging down my back
and it just kind of like

snapped me out
of whatever daze I was in.

When they get outside,

Joe's back more closely.

When I saw
the scratch marks,

I was in shock for sure.

I mean, how does something...

attack you
while there's nothing there?

Many people have
been to this rectory.

Many have come away
with negative experiences.

Back in 2012, I found myself
in the Sedamsville Rectory

for an investigation.

And I, too, was scratched.

It happened in the basement.

Along my back,

three parallel scratches.

I'm not going
back in there, Tyler.

- Did you...
- Yes.

I was just, like, possessed.

But after
a two-hour break,

they do go back inside.

And during a spirit
box session,

it's revealed who the culprit
of the scratches might be.

So who scratched Joe?

When Joe gets scratched,

they ask who did it
and receive

the response of a priest.

But why would a priest
scratch him?

We're only here
to talk to you.

We're not here to harm you.

Either the priest
is being misinterpreted

and just trying
to respond to them,

or we might have
a trickster on our hands.

Something that is posing
as a spiritual guide.

and it's not over yet.

The third time
I got scratched,

that's when I was
really freaked out.

How'd that happen
three different times?

What are the chances that...

They don't
want me in there.

Certain that
whatever is haunting the rectory

has it out for Joe,

they cut their
investigation short.

Right now, we're packing up.

As you can see,
getting all the

out of here as fast as we can.

I think it
was wise to leave.

When you interact
with energy like this,

it stays with you
for a really long time.

It can literally change who
you are and your personality

if you don't cleanse yourself

or heal yourself
from that negative energy.

And even all these
years later,

that night at the Sedamsville
Rectory still haunts Joe.

This is 100%
the most active...

place I have ever
investigated.

And it's active in a dark,
dark type of way.

It gives me anxiety
to this day.

are at home
eating lunch upstairs.

Afterwards, they return
to their bedroom downstairs

and find a dresser drawer
in the middle of the floor

with a bunch of its contents
strewn about.

Confused by how it got there,

Garret and McKenna
review footage

from their home
security camera

and what they see
is alarming.

Watch closely...

as their two dogs,
Bear and Athena,

stare at a wall and whine.

Then seconds later

as Bear sniffs
around the dresser...

one of the drawers
flies directly at him.

My name is Garret
and this is my video.

I don't know
how this happened

but it was definitely
pretty crazy.

We thought Bear's collar
got hooked on the drawer.

But the handles,
they're perfectly smooth.

There's no possible way

that it could have been
Bear's collar.

So we tried manually pulling
out the drawer

to reenact, kind of, the way
that it came out.

And we had to actually, like,
pull out the drawer, lift it,

set it down and then
pull it all the way out.

So there's was no way that
the dog could have done it.

Unable to come up
with a logical explanation

for what happened,
Garret and McKenna

are understandably
freaked out.

It was, uh, eerie.

My brain could not process
that that had happened.

We had no idea what to do.

Neither one of us wanted
to sleep in there that night.

It was just creepy.

Creepy indeed.

I watched this
several times

trying to figure out
how this could happen.

It just doesn't make
sense to me.

It really, kind of,
blew my mind.

What gets me
is how forceful

this drawer shoots out.

It's not like it comes out
a little bit

and then falls to the floor.

It's not like it starts

to creak, creak,
creak, creak, creak,

and the dog helps it along.

These dogs
are completely innocent,

and whatever's going on here,

it shoots out of the dresser
as if firing from a cannon.

If this was a poltergeist
type haunting,

it certainly is
a powerful one.

Generally we see them,
you know,

moving forks
around the kitchen

or something like that,

very lightweight objects.

This is a big heavy drawer.

So whatever this entity is,

it certainly
does seem to have

quite a bit of power to it.

And whatever caused
the poltergeist type chaos,

Garret's dogs,
definitely sensed it coming.

I've never seen them actually
just sit there

and focus on one thing
like that.

So it was pretty weird.

Dogs,
especially German Shepherds,

are incredibly
intelligent animals,

and they have incredible
sense of smell,

incredible hearing and sight.

And I think that
a lot of the time,

dogs are usually the ones to
perceive paranormal phenomena

before their humans do.

So it could make them
agitated,

they'll start
whining and crying.

And usually that's because

they're sensing this change
within the atmosphere

and it makes them feel
uncomfortable.

And after
the drawer incident...

their discomfort
only gets worse.

Bear wouldn't even
go back in the room

and Athena would just kind
of look at the wall,

and look at the ceiling,
and look at the dresser.

It was just she was trying to
figure out what she just saw.

But it took probably like
three or four days

for Bear to go back
in the room.

It also changed
Garret's feelings

about the afterlife.

I've always believed
in ghosts and stuff,

but I never thought
it would happen to me.

And now I'm certain
that they do exist.

And he looks
to his German Shepherds

to alert him
before it happens again.

If I see my dogs
act like that again,

I'm gonna be gone,
there's gonna be no traces

of Garret left.

unidentified objects

flying over
the Atlantic Ocean.

When you spend
most of your life

aboard a massive vessel with
unobstructed ocean views,

you're bound to see
some spectacular sights.

Because on a clear day,

the naked eye can see about
three miles to the horizon.

And that vantage point
is also perfect

for citing the unexplained.

Just ask
a cruise ship captain,

who recently captured not one

but two unidentified
flying objects on camera.

June 10th, 2020,

off the coast of the Bahamas,

cruise ship captain
Kate McCue and her crew

are anchored 12 miles out
to sea

while on a months'
long hiatus.

They have no guests on board.

And when the weather is good,

they go out on the deck
to enjoy the sunset.

But tonight,
they spot something else.

Captain McCue immediately
grabs her phone

and starts recording it.

Watch as a black
oddly shaped object

seems to rise up
into the sky.

My name is Captain Kate McCue
and I shot these videos.

I had turned to look forward
towards the bow of the ship

and I saw this black,

looked like a giant
jellyfish,

that was sailing
above the ship

and it started from the bow

through the center line
so right through the middle

of the ship all the way
through the ship's stack

and then past the stern.

It made no noise and...

because there was no
wind, it wasn't, you know,

like a trash bag or anything

from shore
because we're 12 miles out.

I think all of us were
kind of scratching our heads

thinking what could it be?

Even more puzzling
is where it ends up.

It actually descended
into the sea.

And, uh,
we have no idea where

the actual location that
it went into the sea was.

I've been going to sea
for 25 years

and I've never seen
anything like this.

The captain's
description of this thing

as a black jellyfish object

really struck me
because this is a person

that, because of her job,

needs to have strong
observational skills

and she needs to know what is
out there in her environment.

There's a lot
of descriptions

when it comes to UFOs
that they seem to be almost

organic creatures.

And there's been
descriptions of this,

if you go back
hundreds of years,

of people describing
what look like

squid or octopus in the sky.

Looks like a jelly fish...

And she describes this

almost like it's a living
organism.

Now eventually,
it floats down into the water.

Could it be that's
where it came from,

or did it just run out
of fuel

and that's where it ended up?

And as startling
as this sighting is,

there's more to come.

Three weeks later,
Captain McCue captures yet

another UFO during sunset.

But this one is lit up

and flying much higher
in the sky.

This was at least
30,000 feet,

you know, like an airplane.

Because we had been at sea
for so long,

there were months that went by
where we didn't see aircraft.

We didn't see contrail
from planes.

And the first time I saw
a blinking light in the sky,

and I was like,
"Wow, there's a plane."

But unlike a plane,

it's not making any noise.

And then all of a sudden...
it disappeared.

And I was like,
"Where did it go?"

And perhaps more importantly,

where is it from?

A great quantity
of the UFO videos

that we see do take place
over open water.

Ma'am, what is that?

And a lot of people have
theorized that perhaps...

these things aren't even
coming from outside

of our atmosphere,
but rather from beneath it

as if they're coming
from beneath the surface

of the water.

Of course, there's always
the possibility that

they've come from
another place

outside of our atmosphere
and are...

sort of hiding
beneath the water.

Twelve miles out doesn't sound
like a great distance,

but it's way, way out.

And, you know, that water
is deep down there,

who knows what's happening
in the sky

or under the water
that far out?

Well,
as far as these sightings go,

Captain McCue thinks
she knows.

I'm keen
to think it was a UFO.

I am a person who thinks
that it would be very ignorant

to assume that we are the only
ones in the universe.

I think we might be the only
ones in our universe,

but I would not rule out
anything else.

Captain McCue
is now surprised

that she hasn't seen
more UFOs during her career.

But she attributes that
to never being anchored

in one place for so long.

To date, as a cruise
ship captain

who's been at sea
for 25 years,

this is the most unusual
thing that I've ever seen.

It's the thing
that when guest asks

what's the most unusual thing
will always be

the top of my list
because I can't explain

what we saw in the middle
of the ocean to this day.

During renovations,

said they smelled
brownies baking.

And oddly, lemons.

The owner also claims
to have heard

unexplained footsteps
and doors closing.

But luckily, whatever
is haunting the Mirador

seems to be friendly.

Recently, three
ghost hunters went there

and got a taste of that
southern hospitality...

first hand.

it was like, "Okay,

we got what we came for."

And then it just kept going.

Who was messing
with the lights

a couple minutes ago?

The light just came on
over there.

It did. That was so bright.

Yes.

It's almost like
somebody is letting

these people know,
"Hey, we're here.

You're interested in us
and we appreciate that.

So we're gonna do
a little show for you

and turn some lights on

and affect
the chandelier above you."

The EVP
that we caught on this place

was absolutely crazy.

I couldn't believe
what we were hearing.

There was a point
where the Sprit Box

actually said light.

Can you do that again?

Light.

He said light.

And then the lights went out.

Elisa, it turned off.

- Oh!
- What?

That really took me aback.

That was probably one
of the craziest things

that we've ever experienced.

This is insane.

- Dude, you've got to

be kidding me. What?

Oh.

I mean, occasionally,

we will see a direct request

for interactivity

and then a somewhat responsive

reaction to that,

but this is like
multiple times.

The light goes on
and off and on and off,

and it's just mindboggling
how responsive this is.

With all
the positive back and forth,

the group heads upstairs

to see if they
can keep it going.

Okay, guys,
we're gonna go in this room.

What I didn't tell Elisa

is we're gonna do
this in the dark.

- Really?
- Yeah.

When we went upstairs,

it definitely felt like
a different energy in there.

Yeah.

So maybe there was a different
entity on the second level.

Look at this bed, guys.

I know you can't
see it very...

Jenn!

- Open the door!
- What?

I did not...
Can you put...

I didn't shut the door.

Please.

The bedroom door

has just closed behind Jenn.

Please.

I can't turn this off.

Oh, God! Okay. Really?

She's like, "Why are

I said,

It was crazy.

That door literally
just closed right behind you.

- And I was back here.

When you walk
into a dark room,

and you turn around

and the door shuts
on its own,

it's hard to get out
of your head

all the horror movies

that have
ever featured this motif

as a way to let someone know

that they are trapped.

Okay. How about
we turn the lights on?

- Okay.
- Let's do that.

A few minutes later,

whatever presence
is in the house...

You felt that presence
in this bathroom?

The lights just flickered...

seems
to reach out to Jenn.

Whoa.

Something touched my leg.

I had gone into
the bathroom for a second

and I felt
something swipe my leg

and I was like, "Whoa."
And I looked down

and there was nothing there.

So that was crazy.

Whoa.

Something touched my leg.

After spending
an eventful two hours

at the Bed and Breakfast...

It does not want
that door open.

This is incredible.

And that's forceful.

well in to Loch Ness now.

of the Loch Ness Monster?

When it comes
to cryptids,

perhaps the most
well-known of all

is the Loch Ness Monster.

And the reason is simple.

Something is causing huge,

huge disturbance in the water.

There's
no shortage of sightings.

The first of which took place
some 1,450 years ago

by an Irish priest who saw
a sea monster surface

and try to attack a man.

And there have been
reported encounters

and video captures

of a similar looking
creature in the Loch

ever since.

Case in point,

a group of men
recently went there

on a canoeing trip.

Well, we're just, um,
well into Loch Ness now.

Amazing views.

And captured what
seems to be further proof

of the legendary
cryptid's existence.

August, 2021,

the highlands of Scotland.

Richard is part
of a group of men,

competing in the Great Glen
Canoe challenge.

They're traveling sixty miles

over the course of five days.

On day three,

the group heads
toward Loch Ness.

They just left
to Fort Augustus.

We got Loch Ness ahead.

I think, um,
finding camping spots

is gonna be one
of the more difficult things

so we're just
gonna paddle-paddle

until we see
somewhere suitable.

Luckily,
they're able to find a spot

along the south shore
of Loch Ness

to set up camp.

While there,
Richard sends up a drone

with a camera to get
some shots from above.

And in doing so,
he unknowingly captures

something mind-blowing.

Look closely

as what appears to be
a massive creature

with a long neck

floats just below
the surface near the shore.

You can also see
what look like fins

on either side
of its body and a tail.

Richard and the others
aren't aware of it

until a week later

when someone
watching the footage

points it out

and they are stunned.

Could this be...

the Loch Ness Monster?

This is really amazing.

We have clear drone
footage on a nice day.

And in the water,
pretty close to shore,

there is this large form

that looks like
a creature of some sort.

Additionally,
there even seems to be

a visible pattern

on what could be skin.

I'm not saying it's Nessie,

but it's Nessie.

we understand
that perhaps Nessie

was a plesiosaur

leftover from the age
of dinosaurs.

And when you look
at this drone shot,

it does seem that something
of that configuration

is in the water.

One of the most
striking elements

of this very brief capture

is that we have
really clear objects

to get a sense of scale.

We see the canoes.

We know how big
an average canoe is.

This thing is a lot
bigger than the canoes.

I wanna argue that this is...

a ghost we're seeing.

And the reason why I say that

is because all of a sudden

it just manifests
right before your eyes.

It's not there

for the first couple seconds.

And then all
of a sudden you see

what looks like
a pretty massive,

dinosaur shaped,
aquatic creature.

And of course
when you pair that

with the fact
that we're at Loch Ness,

it has to be the ghost
of the Loch Ness Monster.

Maybe or could this

massive entity
be something else entirely?

Something that we have
yet to discover

that lives deep
within Loch Ness

which reaches depths
of close to 800 feet.

There are a lot
of different, uh, creatures

that could be down
in these depths

where there's
not much sunlight.

You see these creatures
in the deep, deep sea

that have no pigmentation.

They're almost translucent,

they glow, they have
bioluminescence

to, kind of, make their way.

So I think there could be
a lot more mysteries

below Loch Ness.

Whatever Richard
captured that day

remains a mystery.

But his footage
made headlines.

And continues
to fascinate viewers.

Who think it could be proof

that the fabled
lake monster is in fact...

real.

Why are people
fascinate by lake monsters

and things of these sort

because it infuses wonder
back into our world.

Something living
in the water on Loch Ness.

No idea what it is.

The thought that, all right,

there's something out there

that maybe is evading us

and eluding us meaning,

all of my other hopes
and dreams are possible.

forest on the planet.

I was excited.
I was intrigued.

I was curious to explore...

But right away,

Mihaela finds
something unsettling.

It's a group of bones
scattered in the grass.

I saw on the fields

around the forest
lots of bones.

It seemed like
they were sheep bones.

I felt curious.

It's like why,
you know, what's this,

what's with these bones?

Despite the ominous
start to her journey,

Mihaela boldly continues

deeper into the forest.

Yes.

I am that crazy

to walk alone

in the so-called

most haunted forest
in the world.

Then,
as Mihaela recounts

a local legend,

something truly
bone-chilling happens.

The legend says

that, uh, a shepherd

went into the forest.

He went in
and he never came back.

And, yes,
you saw the footage...

Did you catch that?

Watch again in slow motion

as a dark figure

can be seen lurking
in the background.

Whatever that shadowy form

in the woods is behind her,

it doesn't seem
to wanna be seen by her.

It almost seems
to be camouflaging itself

amongst the trees.

You can clear
see a head, a shoulder,

uh, you know, torso.

And this is someone
or something

standing on two legs

watching her from the forest.

And he never came back.

When I saw that figure
creeping in the background,

I got chills.

But I wasn't surprised.

I know
the Hoia-Baciu forest

because I have
investigated there.

And it is a hot spot
of high strangeness.

From reports of UFO's,
to time portals,

to ghosts,

This is Romanian's
Bermuda Triangle.

In this
particular forest,

we seem to have this
history of disappearance.

A shepherd
once famously walked in,

never walked out.

A young girl
a long time later

goes into the forest
then disappeared.

She was gone five years.

And when she came back out,

she was wearing
the same clothes.

She didn't appear
to have aged at all.

How do we explain that?

My heart leans
towards extraterrestrial,

and vortex, and time warp

scenarios
because of, you know,

just the basic claims
that come out of there.

So is she being stalked

by some form
of extraterrestrial?

Some, sort of,
time traveling energy,

looking for the next
person to abduct.

Whatever is going on,

Mihaela is unaware
of the figure

at the time and carries on.

Until...

I can hear something.

She hears footsteps.

But there's
no one walking near her

to make them.

At least no one she can see.

And as night is falling,

she makes a wise choice.

I said, okay,
I think I've seen enough,

I've done enough.

I promise never
to do this again in my life.

What the hell.

You never know in the woods
of Transylvania,

you know, what kind of
a entity you might run into.

Uh, we hear all these stories

of vampires and werewolves.

I'm really scared.

Or are they just mythology

or is there really something

stalking people
in these woods.

Whatever was
seemingly stalking Mihaela

in the forest that day

remains a mystery.

And luckily for her,
it let her leave.
