Prisons are notorious spaces
for hauntings.

A museum in Indiana

gets an unexpected visitor
after hours.

Well,
the only thing we could come up with is

it must be some kind of ghost.

Two sisters
in California...

- Ohhh!
- What is happening?

...spot
multiple UFOs in the sky.

It was very strange.
I'm just like, I have no idea what I just saw.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see...

Looks like a portal
opening up.

...to believe.

Does your basement
give you the creeps?

If it does, you're not alone.

Whether finished or not,
these lesser lived-in spaces

can be downright unsettling
at times,

and are often
the part of a house

that has paranormal activity.

But why?

Maybe it's because
these spaces are ideal

for spirits to avoid people

and hide out,

or, could it be that basements
are a little closer

to where the bodies
are buried?

We may never know for sure,

but these sublevel encounters
abound.

as a ghostly
figure...

Michelle's getting, like...

...is seen staring
at them from the closet.

So you might have
some competition when you get back!

When she pans back,
seconds later,

it's gone.

Michelle's getting, like, really good at the drums!

Neither Stephanie
nor Michelle

sees the figure at the time.

But when they watch
the footage the following day,

it's unmistakable.

My name is Stephanie,
and this is my video.

I didn't notice
when I was recording,

and I uploaded it
to my computer,

and we all freaked out.

We freaked out completely.

Michelle's getting, like--

It just looks so clear,

like it's someone
standing in the closet.

It's the right height.

It's the right size.

...good
at the drums.

And then, it disappears
on its own.

So you might have
some competition when you get back!

To this day,
I can't explain it.

Hi, Stan!

There is
no doubt in my mind

that this figure is a woman
in a long, white nightgown.

It is clear as day.

This is
a full-bodied apparition.

Everything
about this clip

is just spot-on perfect

as evidence for a really,
really, freaky haunting.

This is, to me, really one
of the best clips I've seen.

And there's more.

Nine days later,
when Stephanie gets home from work,

she's concerned
when her dog, Bella,

isn't waiting for her
at the front door.

She normally comes running
to the door,

and she didn't,
and I called out her name.

I'm walking around
looking for her.

She finally
finds Bella,

standing guard, in front of
the same basement closet

where the figure
recently appeared.

Even just seeing
her there by the closet,

I'd already freaked out,

but I was like,
"I'm gonna record this,

in case anything
crazy happens."

Bella is
so intently focused on the closet,

she doesn't react
to Stephanie at all.

Um, she
hasn't acknowledged me at all

since I came home,
which is very weird.

Bella?

She's not even answering
to her name.

She was just facing the door.

She was acting the same way
she would when she was trying

to get into one
of our bedrooms at night,

or if there was something
in there that she wanted.

See, baby?
There's nothing there.

She went right in when
I opened the door, to sniff around.

Came back out, 'cause
there was nothing there.

There's nothing in there,
crazy lady.

And then, once I closed
the door again,

she was still standing
outside the door.

Oh, she's back to sniffing it
again!

This is freaking me out.

We know
that animals have this ability

to sense spirits
that we can't see.

They have this ability
to pick up on other people,

or creatures,
in and about our vicinity.

And the fact that this dog
is zeroing in, focusing in

on that closet, where
this apparition was seen,

is no coincidence.

I was definitely scared.
I didn't like it.

And I didn't get any sort

of negative energy,
or anything,

from, um, this spirit,
if that's what it was,

but I didn't like the fact
that it was involving my dog.

I guess I felt protective.

But it definitely
bugged me out.

Oh, she's back to sniffing it
again!

This is freaking me out.

It freaked
Stephanie out so much

that she leaves a camera
pointed at the closet door.

And sure enough,
three weeks later,

while another roommate, Reese,
is downstairs alone...

It opened out of nowhere,
for no reason.

And of course,
with everything else going on,

it was about 100 times
scarier, now.

Can we talk
about the scare-trot

that Reese does,
out of that room?

I know this walk.

I like this walk.

This is a walk that says...

"I'm okay.
It's cool.

Definitely nothing
to be scared about.

I'm just going to quickly
hoof it out of this location,

uh, on unrelated business."

The door opening
on its own

is the final straw
for Stephanie.

I ended up moving.
Michelle did stay there.

She said nothing else
really happened.

Um, she basically avoided
the basement after that,

so things could have been
happening,

and she wouldn't have known
about it.

So, what exactly
is happening here?

I think all three captures
have to do with that culprit

that was captured, which was
that woman in a nightgown.

There's something going on
in that closet,

or at the space
that it sits on,

that's allowing this entity
to manifest

in more ways than one.

Perhaps
that closet is a portal to the other side.

As ridiculous as that sounds,

it has to come from somewhere.

Unfortunately,
wherever it did come from

remains a mystery.

But Stephanie is
still grateful

to have caught it all
on camera.

The experience definitely
made me feel

more open-minded towards

things having to do
with paranormal in general,

and just also believing people
when they tell you

that they
experienced something,

because we were lucky
to have this on video,

um, that we could show it,
but I think that if I had been

told the story of the figure
that appeared

while Michelle was playing
the drums,

I wouldn't have believed it.

Coming up,
a ghost hunter in Texas

is pursued by a shadow figure.

The Alamo is one of
the most iconic landmarks in Texas.

It represents
the 13-day, bloody battle

between Mexican soldiers
and Texans in 1836.

And just across the street is
yet another iconic building.

The Menger Hotel.

Built in 1859,

upon the grounds
where the battle was fought,

it's the longest-running hotel
west of the Mississippi,

and has a long list
of notable guests,

including,

Ulysses S. Grant,

Robert E. Lee,

and Theodore Roosevelt,

who gathered his Rough Riders
at the hotel's bar.

Given its rich history,

it's no surprise
that the Menger

is considered to be one
of the most haunted hotels

in the Lone Star State.

Recently, a ghost hunter
went there,

and believes
he captured proof.

August, 2020.
San Antonio, Texas.

Justin Soto is conducting
an overnight investigation

at the Menger Hotel.

When he arrives,

the staff tells him where
most of the activity happens,

so he begins there.

Third and second floor,

where I'm at,
are the most active.

My name is Justin Soto,
and this is my video.

What I've learned was,
is that they have about 30

spirits that roam this hotel,

so that piqued interest
right away.

One spirit,
in particular,

stands out to him.

There was one apparition
that's always seen and heard.

She was a maid at this hotel
in the 1800s.

Her name was Sallie.

She ended up dying
a tragic death,

by gunshot wounds
from her husband.

They say they see
an apparition of a woman,

on this floor
and the second floor.

And after just
a few minutes of roaming the halls,

unbeknownst to him,
Justin's camera microphone

picks up a message,

seemingly, from beyond.

Listen closely.

Listen again,

as something seems to whisper,

"Follow me."

When you
hear the words, "Follow me,"

it sounds like
whatever this spirit is,

wants them to go
around the hotel,

and maybe, seek it out.

Could be.

Or, it might be a precursor
to what's about to happen.

So, I just
learned that people have been seeing a spirit,

of a maid that
used to work here,

going up and down
these stairs,

between the second
and third floor.

Justin sets up
a static camera,

pointing at the stairs,

and lets it roll.

All right,
I got it going,

and I'm gonna let that run
for a little bit.

I'm gonna walk
the second floor again,

and see if we
can get anything.

Watch closely.

Did you catch that?

Watch again,

as moments
after Justin leaves,

a dark, misty figure

seems to follow him.

When we see
a very obvious shadow

get up out of the chair,
and walk down the hallway,

my jaw dropped.

I mean, this is
an incredible capture.

This is a place
that is known to be haunted.

We can see that there's
nothing that would cause

that shadow to happen.

It simply manifests,
gets up from the chair,

walks down the hallway.

There's Sallie.

Sallie or not,

Justin doesn't see the shadow

until he reviews
the footage later,

but he does seem

to sense it.

I really feel
like something's

like, up on me.

Now confident
that there's a presence here,

Justin meets up with three
of his friends,

in what is considered to be
one of the most haunted rooms

in the hotel,

to conduct an EVP session,

using a spirit box

that scans radio stations.

Where are you? What is your name?

With the spirit box,
what it does is,

it scans every single
radio frequency,

including
white noise stations.

It's believed that spirits
can communicate

using radio wave frequencies,

and you can hear their voice
in real time.

Which is exactly
what seems to happen.

Tell me more.

"I ain't telling."

If you hear, like,
full sentences,

you gotta remember
that it's sweeping

through radio stations,
at a...

at such a fast rate,
that to hear a full sentence

go through multiple stations,

is... It's unexplainable.

Unexplainable,

and sometimes,

terrifying.

Give me a sign that you are here.

"I'm in the room."

- "I'm in the room."
- "I'm in the room." Ooh!

As investigators, we're always
asking the question,

"Is there anyone here
with us?

And furthermore,
where are you?"

And when you get a response
like this...

"I'm in the room."

- "I'm in the room."
- "I'm in the room." Ooh!

...it's pretty specific.

And it's pretty clear.

Clear enough
to convince Justin

that the hotel
is indeed haunted,

and worthy
of much more investigation.

I would love to go back there

and spend, like,
a week in that hotel.

The fact that it's sitting
where the original battlefield

of the Alamo... I mean,
that right there is amazing.

And there's definitely
some energy

that is in that place.

to two sisters in California,

who were simply driving
in their car

when they witnessed
something

that blew their minds.

It's about 9:00 p.m.,

and Sierra and Savanah Llamas
are driving home from work,

when something bizarre
in the sky

catches their attention.

As they pull in
to their driveway,

Sierra grabs her phone,

and starts recording.

Oh, my God!

What is that?

It's
three bright lights

arranged in a formation.

- Look at it.
- Oh, my God, Sierra.

- What is that?
- What in the world?

Hi, my name is Sierra.

And I'm Savanah.

And this is our video.

It's just floating
up there.

Looking at it, we were just
kind of like, "What is this?"

and I don't think
we really knew what to think,

but I didn't feel scared.
I felt more, like, intrigued,

and, like, curious
about it, because

there was nothing like that
that we've seen before.

They're just, like,
red dots.

It looked to be something like

these three red lights
in the sky.

They were kind of moving very
slowly towards one direction.

And then
we compared it

to the other things in the sky
that we were seeing.

Hey!

That's a plane.

That's the plane
blinking.

- And moving.
- Blinking and moving.

- But...
- But...

There's a full moon.

I've got
a full moon, right there.

But look at those!

And we were like, "That looks
nothing like the plane.

"Nothing like the stars."

So, it was very interesting.

As Sierra
and Savanah

try to make sense
of the anomalies in the sky,

things suddenly take a turn

for the truly bizarre.

Ooh! Look what's up
with the middle one!

Once the middle one
started flashing,

I'm like, "There's something
happening here."

Like, "We gotta
keep recording."

Like, "What is this?"

Ooh, Sierra!

What is happening?

That's the...

It's gonna...

- Oh, my God! It's just so...
- What is happening?

It just, like,
came off!

Watch again,

as the object in the center

drops a glowing ball,

which seems to cross the path

of an approaching plane.

Wait, what are we,
like, watching?

The front two
are disappearing, like, they're kind of going...

Yeah, they're
flashing in and out. - Look at this...

Then,
the same thing happens again,

from the one remaining object.

Look, oh look, it's
gonna drop something again! - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Oh, it's dropping!
It's dropping it again. -

- What is it?
- It's so...

This is scary.
That... - It is so bright!

After
about five minutes,

all of the lights fade away...

It just disappeared.

It disappeared.

...leaving
the sisters completely baffled.

Now they're gone.

Oh, my God!

It was really weird,
and I'm just, like,

"I have no idea
what I just saw."

It was just very strange.

Strange, indeed.

This is insane!

So, what did
Sierra and Savanah witness that night?

They look solid.

They're bright.

They're brighter than
the plane lights.

It doesn't seem to have
any kind of propulsion to it,

and you certainly don't hear
an engine noise,

so, really, a legit UFO.

An unidentified flying object
up in the sky.

- Sierra!
- What is happening?

Right away,
when you see that light

start to lose its formation,
and start to drop down,

it seems to be on some sort
of a mission.

It seems to be on some sort
of trajectory

to go check something out,

and to me,
this is not behaving

like normal aircraft
or drones.

This is something that
is leaning, for me,

for more alien
than anything else.

Ooh! It just, like,
came off!

There are
multiple sightings

where people report
seeing something ejected

from another object
in the sky,

and we've even seen that
on this show before.

So if this is
extraterrestrial in origin,

what are they up to?

Are they making
some sort of delivery?

Or could this be
an "away team"

on a scouting mission?

It just
disappeared. - I know!

The one in the
sky's disappeared, too!

Oh, it came back!
It came back.

Where the lights
came from,

or what they were doing,

remains a mystery,

but Sierra and Savanah

feel lucky to have captured
a glimpse

of the unexplained.

This experience
was very interesting.

I'd never seen anything
like that,

so it was pretty cool to see.

I hope to see
something like this again.

I'm just, literally,
looking at the sky

all the time.
It's creepy, like,

I feel like at first, I was
looking for shooting stars,

but now,
I'm looking for, like...

...aliens.

Coming up,
a mysterious apparition

checks out a museum display

in Indiana.

Museums are some
of the most haunted places

in the world,

and it's not hard

to imagine why.

After all, these spaces
are dedicated

to preserving various types
of significant relics,

and it's believed

that the rich histories
of these artifacts

may not only attract people,

but also

ghosts,

which might explain

what happened recently
in Indiana,

when a security camera
inside a museum

captured this

creeping around.

April, 2021.

Huntington, Indiana.

Eric Bruce is
on the board of directors

of the Huntington County
Historical Museum.

About six months ago,

he set up a few CCTV cameras
around the building,

to keep an eye on things.

One afternoon,

while the museum is closed,

Eric gets an alert

that movement is detected
in the annex room,

so he rushes to the museum,
reviews the footage,

and sees something
unimaginable.

Watch closely,

as some kind of shadowy figure

walks out, by a bookcase,

and then,

retreats back

to where it came from.

Then,

just minutes later,

what looks like
a different shadow figure

follows suit.

Eric is shocked.

My name is Eric,
and this is my video.

Well, when I saw that shadow,

I felt kind of strange
about it, because it was, uh,

it was odd.

It just kind of appears,
and then it kind of darts off,

and then comes back
into the frame.

The second figure, it looks
to be very similar

to the first figure,

except that maybe
it's a little taller,

but it has the same kind
of transparency,

and it seemed
to move in and out

a little quicker than
the first figure.

Not sure
what to make of it,

Eric tries an experiment

on a day the museum is open.

Had a couple people
try to recreate it.

And they look
like live people,

where you can tell
it's a person,

you can, you know, make
out features, and clothing, and all that stuff.

Which leaves
Eric and the employees

with only one
other possibility.

Really, the only
thing we've come up with is,

it must be some kind of ghost.

This seems to be
a classic example of what we term a shadow figure.

Something dark, shadowy,

not made of light,
but almost composed

of shadow, of darkness.

Now, that's not to say
it's evil or malevolent,

it's just composed
of something

that makes it hard
for us to see.

I like this
capture because of how

intangible this form is.

Even when it takes on
a more human shape,

it still doesn't look solid,

and certainly not like any
living human I've seen.

The second
time it came out,

it looked like it was
carrying something,

and it walked over
to this bookcase,

almost like it was replacing
something on this bookcase.

I think
there's a potential

that they could be
two different entities.

If it is two different
types of entities,

they never get too far
from that beginning point,

so maybe there is something
with that dark corner,

that is a portal of some sort,

allowing entities
to come to and from.

Or, it could be
the same entity

it's just capable
of manifesting

in different ways and shapes.

My interpretation of that
second appearance,

was that it was the
same apparition that we were seeing before.

This is an entity doing what
we all do in museums,

looking at the collection,
engaging with the exhibit,

trying to find something,

perhaps something that
might contain information,

or some sort of
personal connection

to whoever that
apparition was.

My question is,

what's in that corner
of the museum?

What's on that shelf at
the foot of the stairs?

Very good question.

That's an area,
what they call the Huntington Honors.

It's a display to honor
our people in, uh, Huntington County,

so that's a display
case that has

just information and
photos of people

that are on the
Huntington Honors.

Whatever it was
that was snooping around,

and whatever they wanted,

Eric hopes they come back.

I do check it more
often than I have.

Um, and we have yet to
catch anything even similar,

uh, or anything out of place.

I think we would, uh, help,

maybe further the story,

so I think that it would
be great to capture something else.

Coming up,

a dark entity,

scales a prison
wall in Brazil.

There are
plenty of reasons

why you'd never wanna
end up in prison.

Loss of freedom.

Terrible food.

Bad neighbors.

But, perhaps one of
the lesser known reasons,

why you wouldn't wanna
find yourself behind bars,

is that many of
these facilities

are thought to be haunted.

And a couple of CCTV cameras

may have captured proof.

February, 2017.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Wardens at Campo Grande,

a maximum security prison,

are on high alert,

when they see a dark
figure scaling the walls

on one of their
security cameras.

Thinking it's a prisoner
attempting to escape,

they sound the alarm.

But when
they search the area,

they find nothing.

And when they
review the footage,

they discover that it's
not an inmate after all.

At least...

Not one that's living.

Watch as the dark figure

seems to float through a wall.

Then...

Rises up out of the earth...

And climbs around again.

What is going on here?

The figure
itself seems to be

about the right size and
shape to be a person,

but it's got no definition.

No features, no detail.

Um, and it sorta seems to
change shape as it moves.

If there's anything
that speaks volumes

to how real this shadow is,

the fact that security guards

thought they were witnessing
a prisoner trying to escape,

moving through the cells,

going through the walls,

so, to me, this just
corroborates this video and this experience,

that this was a real shadow,

whether this was a prisoner,

or another dark energy
that resides here,

it was captured
on video, and it's a really compelling one.

So, if this is
in fact some kind of spirit,

whose might it be?

Some of the inmates believe
it's the soul of a prisoner

who was executed.

It's certainly tempting
to imagine that

it is the spirit of an inmate

who perhaps died
in the prison.

Of course, that
begs the question,

well, wouldn't a spirit
be set free upon death,

and leave the prison?

But, a lot of times
prisoners get out of prison

and wish they were back in,

so, um, it's certainly

not beyond the realm of
possibilities that, um,

this is the place that
the person knew in life,

and this is the
place where they just gravitate toward in death.

Could be,
but whatever's happening,

this isn't the only
facility of this kind

to experience
bizarre activity.

For years, many
of the officers

at the Espanola Police
Department in New Mexico

have believed their precinct

is haunted.

They've been hearing
unexplained noises,

and feeling something
breathing down their necks.

And on September 20th, 2014,

it became clear
that those feelings

were justified.

Watch, as a
surveillance camera

pointed at a holding area,

picks up a misty figure

walking through a
locked chain link fence,

and across the yard.

This is really cool.

We have a security camera,

a passive eye,

that's watching an area
at this police department

that by all counts,
is inaccessible.

It's a locked space,

it's not an area that
anyone could get into

without setting off an alarm,

without having to open a gate,

which would also be
noticed, we assume,

on the security camera, and we

fairly clearly, see
an apparition,

walking, moving,

through this yard space.

I personally love
security footage captures,

especially when
they're coming from

a credible place, such
as a police department.

This is a place that's
not going to be pulling pranks on us,

or altering their footage.

And what we're seeing here,

it's not the clear
image of a person,

but it gives the
impression of a person.

It really looks as if there
is a faint image of a person,

just walking around.

Possibly someone

who once worked there.

It's a very demanding
and stressful job,

and sometimes when people
have a very demanding job

in life, they tend
to keep working in the afterlife.

Or, could
it be something

even more bizarre?

I can't
help but think about these police officers,

who are on the scene of crimes

or places where people
have lost their lives.

How, what if, some
of those spirits,

are actually attaching
themselves to the cops,

and travelling back to
the police department?

Terrifying.

Whatever these figures are,

one thing's for sure.

As long as there
eyes in the skies,

covering every corner
of these facilities,

it's only a matter of time

before they're
caught on camera.

just teleport from?

When you
hear the word "portal",

there are a few things
that may come to mind.

A mechanism by which
people are beamed

from one location to another.

A gateway to the underworld.

Or
perhaps, an alien

entering Earth's atmosphere.

All of these
sound like fantasy.

That is, until you see
the incredible phenomena

that some people
around the world

have captured on camera.

a portal opening up.

It's a rainy day,

when a dash cam

captures something
mind-boggling.

Watch closely.

Did you see that?

Watch again.

As a man seemingly
drops out of nowhere,

and into the
middle of traffic.

Luckily, he appears
to be unharmed.

But...

Where did he come from?

This is
so bizarre to me.

I watched, and re-watched,

and re-watched this
clip so many times,

trying to find where on Earth
did that person come from.

I have no idea
where he came from.

All of a sudden,
he just manifested out of the front tire.

I really wondered
if it was just a guy,

jumping out of that car,

but, based on the speed that
this vehicle is traveling,

it doesn't look like a person
could fall out of it,

or get hit by it,

and still just nonchalantly
get up, and walk away.

My first thought on
seeing this was like, man, that's like,

everyone's worst fear for an
outcome of time travel, right?

Like, someone did not
calculate their coordinates of arrival successfully.

And showed up
in a really bad spot.

The following year,

another similar,
yet unique event

occurs in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Kristina Gyarmati is
filming a thunderstorm,

when she inadvertently

captures something far more
captivating than lightning.

Watch very closely.

Watch
again, slowed down,

as a bright column of light

falls to the Earth.

This is interesting.

It seems as if something
is coming down,

almost literally like
being beamed down,

either from above, or below,

and the fact that it
has to be slowed down

so much to even be perceived,

is something else.

Now imagine for
a moment that this is extraterrestrial in origin,

and maybe this is
the beaming down of a crew member.

How quickly it occurred,

this could be happening
hundreds of times,

hey, thousand of times a day,

on our planet, and
we won't even see it.

Mind-blowing.

But, perhaps the most
awesome example

of a potential portal
to another dimension

is captured on
October 16th, 2020.

In Bend, Oregon.

Calvin Brown is traveling,

and has just stepped
outside of his hotel,

when he sees this.

My name is Calvin,
and this is my video.

It looked like
a huge, vibrant,

dark pink donut.

It was stationary and
it was eerily quiet.

Even though I was in the city,

it was like there was
no other sound around.

Looks like
a portal opening up.

It was like a hole up in
through the third density to the ethereal plane.

And it just felt like there
was an opening occurring.

Calvin
is awestruck.

Not only by what he sees,

but also, by how
it makes him feel.

There was
an electric energy

that I've never experienced
before, and the next day,

energetically, I was
just wiped out.

I mean, I just,
I felt really drained.

So...

What did Calvin capture here?

When you see
stuff like this in the sky,

you think the end of the
world is about to happen.

You think you're
gonna get sucked up

into some kind of
space time continuum,

that you'll never
come back from.

It is hard to imagine

that this is any
sort of natural weather phenomenon,

that is not about opening
a gateway between worlds.

I mean, it is so,

not just vibrant in
the sunset sense,

but vibrant in the gaping maw

in the fabric of
the world sense,

that it's hard to see
it as anything but
