When I watched
the footage back,

I couldn't believe my eyes.

I saw different things
going on all at once.

A convenience
store in Malaysia

is visited by a terrifying,
disappearing entity.

She's not going in.

She doesn't even
really look inside.

She simply stands outside
and then...

Gone!

Is this
string of lights in the New Mexico sky...

one massive UFO?

I've seen satellites,
I've seen comets.

Nothing comes close
to explaining what I saw.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see

... to believe.

Paranormal entities
can be terrifying.

But did you know
that sometimes

they're just as scared of you
as you are, of them.

Which is why
many investigators

will go to a location,
several times

in order to build up
a relationship

with whatever spirits
may dwell there.

Just ask a man
in Ohio

who caught a quick glimpse
of a lone shadow figure

during one visit.

and returned months later

to meet some of its friends.

2021,
East Cleveland, Ohio.

Built in 1905, this former
Masonic Temple

now sits empty and abandoned.

Which is why urban explorer,
Christopher Hill

has come here today.

Oh damn.

My name is Christopher Hill
and these are my videos.

I was first attracted
to this Masonic Temple

because the history,

it was the oldest building
that I've ever explored.

It's been abandoned
over 20 years.

With that history,

Christopher wonders
if it could be haunted.

And is here to capture
any evidence

of paranormal activity.

Not too many people
know about it.

There was one graffiti tag
on the outside of the building

but besides that,
there was no vandalism.

The front door
was still locked.

I might have been the first
person that explored this place.

And he might be
the first to capture what happens next.

Watch closely, as he enters
a large room on a lower level.

Really sad that they
let this historical place fall apart like this.

Keep your eyes
on the doorway straight ahead.

Did you see it?

Watch again, in slow motion

as a dark, shadowy, apparition
seems to walk by

and quickly disappear.

Christopher doesn't see it,

until he reviews
the footage, later.

When I finally uploaded
the video to my computer and started to edit,

that's when I saw something
in that doorway.

So, that's why I decided
to go back at night.

And
three months later,

he does just that.

I'm back.
And this time at night.

This place hasn't changed
at all.

And eventually
makes his way to the same room

where he caught
the shadow figure

I was like, right here

when I saw that shadow figure.

But now, it seems
to have multiplied.

Watch both doorways,
very closely.

I think I just
saw something.

Watch again,
as first a shadow

scurries up the wall,
through the doorway to the right.

Followed immediately
by a shadow figure,

going by the doorway
to the left.

And there's more.

On the other side of the room,
a white ghostly figure

rises up and disappears.

At the time, Christopher
is only aware

of the one straight ahead.

I think I just
saw something.

I saw the exact same image
to a T.

I walked straight up
to that doorway,

there was nothing there.

That thing's just
sitting here.

When I watched
the night footage back,

I couldn't believe my eyes.

I saw different things
going on all at once.

So, what exactly,
is happening here?

My first impression was that
whatever we are seeing here

was actually just caused
by a trick of the angles

as the investigator
entered the room.

But upon further inspection
it does look like

something is blocking out
part of the doorframe.

And then, there is movement.

Now, if this was about
the height of an adult human

it seems like there is an arm
hanging down

and where the hand would be

corresponds to where
the door knob is on that door.

So, it does look like it could
be a humanoid shape here.

And whatever
that first figure was

could it be related
to the other entities

he captures three weeks later?

In particular, the one caught
in the same doorway.

It's amazing to see
this again, this figure.

It just solidifies the idea
that what he captured before

is a shadow person because
when you can repeat this again

and capture that same thing,
that's very concrete for me.

This is how
you build rapport

with the spirit energy
in locations,

'cause you find the more
you introduce yourself to a location,

the more the energies start
to introduce themselves to you.

So, if these are
shadow figures or spirits

who are they and what are they
doing here?

To me, this is likely
a manifestation of someone who used this space,

worked in this space,
conducted rituals in this space

and, maybe, is pleased to see
that this ritual space

is till invoking interest
from other people.

Damn, man, it's crazy.

If that's the case,
whatever it is,

will be pleased to know that
Christopher is very interested

and plans to keep coming back
for more.

There's too much
activity at this place

to not re-explore this.

I'm gonna spend about another
three hours

in that place, all alone,
at night.

I think I just saw something.

in an old English prison

summons a hostile spirit.

In England, there's
a sprawling stone prison

many consider the most
haunted place in the country.

Opened in 1625,
Shepton Mallet Prison

has a dark and violent past.

Including instituting one of
the harshest penalties,

the worst offenders were to be
hanged, drawn and quartered.

Today, it is said the souls
of executed inmates

some of whom remain buried
on the grounds,

still haunt the prison.

Which could explain

what happened during a recent
seance circle,

when one of the participants,

came under attack.

the balcony of a chapel

in a nearly 400-year-old
prison,

filming a group of people,
taking part in a seance

Which is exactly
why the group

has chosen this place,
for the seance.

And shortly after
the seance circle is formed

that feeling of lingering
spirits, seems to grow.

Something indeed.

Watch closely,

as Tony's camera captures
something bizarre.

A white figure, moving across
the room.

Though no one sees it
at the time,

Tony believes, he heard it.

Even more
terrifying,

shortly after
the figure passes

the leader
of the seance, Adam,

is suddenly in distress.

Luckily, Adam
makes it outside

and fully recovers.

But, what happened
to him inside?

And could this seance,
brief as it was

have summoned
something sinister?

The idea behind
holding hands during a seance

is an amplification of energy

connecting your field
with the field

of every person around you.

It amplifies
each other's energy

so that maybe you can become

like a beacon of energy
for spirit activity.

And that's why you see
certain individuals sometimes

during seances, get possessed
or targeted by energies.

Quite clearly something
looks pale,

it looks a bit translucent.
It looks small-ish.

Just moves slowly, casually
through the space

It almost seems like
whatever is taking place

is overwhelming his body,

or perhaps he has become
the target

of some sort of activity.

But if he
is the target,

who or what is after him?

For the first 150 or so years
of this prison's operation,

um, men, women, children
were all thrown

into the prison
population together.

You can only imagine what
a horrible life

these inmates must've led.

There's
no doubt for me when you have a space

that's been known to have
hangings, executions and it's a former prison,

where you know that this
is soaked in this sadness and anger and this energy

that is gonna be more negative
than anything else.

Their spirits, their energy's
gonna be lurking in the space.

Whatever it was
the group summoned that night,

Tony is glad, he and his wife,
stayed on the balcony.

Hantu Tetek.

In Malaysian folklore,

she's the ghostly
manifestation of womanhood,

who preys on young men

using her extreme
voluptuousness

to seduce and lure them
to their demise.

Even worse, it's said she uses

this sacred symbol
of motherhood

to smother young children
to death.

Recently, this terrifying
being may have been caught,

lurking around a convenient
store in Malaysia.

And the people
who witnessed it

feel lucky to have
made it out alive.

October, 2011.
Paka, Terengganu, Malaysia.

It's a quiet night,
at the local 24-hour mart.

Manager Daniel Wan is stocking
the back,

while his co-worker,
mans the register.

My name is Daniel and I am
a witness to this video.

Never...
Until tonight,

when the store security camera
catches something bizarre.

Watch closely, on the right
side of the screen,

as what appears to be a woman

manifests at the store's
window, then vanishes.

She pops back up on
the left side of the screen.

Then...

flickers, to right in front
of the door,

where she turns
to look inside.

When Daniel's
co-worker looks outside

he sees nothing.

But a few minutes later,
the woman,

reappears one more time.

Before finally blinking
out of existence.

When this woman first appears
in frame

she seems to dart about.

She appears first
on the right hand,

but then she seems
to like teleport

over to the left side
of the exterior of the store.

Then she teleports
to the center.

And it seems like there's this

glitchy manifestation of this
being, that happened.

One of
the employees of the store

walks through the door,
he stands outside

and he looks clear as day.

So there is no glitch
in the camera or anything.

But when this other thing
appears it seems to be all weird

and weirded out!

At times,
it does look like her head is missing.

And then it starts to form

with a grey, somewhat blank,
expression.

So I start
to wonder,

is this person waiting
at the store?

Or is this something else?

Daniel believes
it is decidedly

something else.

The Hantu Tetek,

an entity from Malaysian
folklore.

With a terrifying
and extremely odd MO.

The stories of the Hantu Tetek
may seem comedic to Westerners

but she actually fits within

an established folkloric
pattern of entities in the shape of a woman

who lures children and young
men to their doom.

It's a cautionary tale about
trusting strangers

or giving in to lust.

And what's crazy is,

if you look at some
of the different pictures and drawings,

it almost looks quite similar
to that same legend.

So you'll start to wonder what
is the intention here.

Are they trying to get someone
in the store to come outside?

It seemed almost to be like
a luring tactic

to get someone to come
to the door.

In other words,
they got lucky.

But whether it was actually
the Hantu Tetek

or something else,

the experience has changed
the way Daniel

looks at life and death.

California.

Julia Marie Craig, spends much
of her free time

watching paranormal
videos online.

Then one afternoon while Julia
is at work,

her own life becomes one
of those paranormal videos.

My name is Julia Marie Craig
and I recorded this video.

I was getting changed
and ready for work.

I just had a creepy feeling.

It was kind of a heavy,
sudden feeling.

And because I've been
interested in a lot of these ghostly things

and watched a lot of videos,

it's just become my instinct
to grab my phone and record.

Which is exactly
what she does.

Pointing her phone at the area

that is creeping her out
the most.

I was trying to just
kinda record

through the window of the door

and I didn't actually see
anything until I looked at the video afterwards.

And then I was shocked.

Shocked because
what she sees, is this.

Watch the pane
of glass, closely,

as what appears to be a small,
shadow figure

slinks behind Julia,
on the left.

I had to rewind it
and, like, zoom in

and I was like, "What the hell
is that?"

There was nobody upstairs
when I was upstairs.

It kinda freaked me out.

So, if no one else
was around,

who or what was it?

Whatever this
figure is,

the size of this thing
does not look, uh,

like a child
or something small.

It looks like something that
would be described as like an elf or a gnome.

Julia has
a similar thought.

I just kinda called it
a "Shadow Goblin"

because it looks small.

It looked like it was, maybe,
two feet tall

and it had this
dome-shaped head.

And it moved really quickly.

Goblins are prevalent
throughout folklore

especially in eastern Europe.

And they're said to be
grotesque, small, mischievous,

up to no good in general.

So, if that's what she
is experiencing here,

then she's in for a whole
lotta trouble.

But as it
turns out, Goblin or otherwise,

a troubling presence in
this building is nothing new.

And it could've started, with
a piece of old furniture.

brought in long ago.

The owners have owned
the building since the '60's

they brought a couch
to the store

and then a few people started
seeing

an apparition, I think
a couple people saw

a woman that got up and walked

through this room that didn't
have an exit.

That happened a few times
and then

they got rid of the couch
and everything stopped.

So knowing that
a piece of furniture

was brought into this space

and suddenly people are seeing

a manifestation of that spirit
now in this space,

they get rid of the couch,

maybe there's something
that stays behind.

Maybe! But Julia
has another,

much more terrifying thought.

having to do with
her fascination

with the paranormal.

When I saw it, my initial
reaction was like,

"Oh this place is haunted."

But then I thought,
"Well, what if

that thing is attached to me?"

That scared the hell outta me.

Especially because in
the last few years

I have been like researching
and pursuing

these types of mysterious
topics

that we don't understand yet,
about existence.

Oh yes, when you study
these things

you open yourself up
to being studied.

It's very much like walking
around in a big city

and the minute you lock eyes
with somebody

whether they'll ask you
for directions, whatever.

It's that initial contact that
calls them to come to you.

If Julia has the
paranormal equivalent

of a stage-five clinger

then she might want to cleanse
herself to get rid of it.

Additionally she could try to
interact with this thing

and say, "Hey, you're invading
my personal space.

Time for you to
move it along."

Fortunately, Julia
hasn't seen the entity since.

And incredibly, this sighting
has only fueled her interest

in the paranormal.

It just reinforces
the idea that

you know, there is a lot of
crazy, unexplained stuff

going on everyday, all over
the world

And I believe that it's
worthwhile

to investigate it and try to
figure out

what it all is.

You're asking spirits to use
your actual bodily energy

And the strangest thing
happened.

Oh lord!

This vibration to this table.

It was after tingling through
your fingertips.

As soon as that starts,
you feel the table move.

Show us your power,
show us.

Come on, don't stop.
Don't stop, don't stop.

Oh, it's working.
It's working!

Their first
table-tipping session

is so successful...

Oh dear,
this is amazing.

... that the team
is hooked

Can you stand on
two legs?

Oh alright, okay!

And they decide to
try it again,

the following year,
in Mansfield,

at a paranormal hotspot,
called The Village,

which is thought to be haunted
by many spirits.

Including those
of several monks

who died in a horrific fire,
long ago.

Okay, so spirits,

can you come forward,
towards any one of us

and help us move this table?

For the first
couple of minutes

there's no activity.

Come on spirit,
use our energy!

Move the table!

But after a few
more prods,

Come forward!

That is moving. It's doing it.

the vibrations
and shaking

Oh my god,
this is weird.

begin!

And this time,
it escalates,

quickly!

I'm trying to stay on
the table as much as possible.

Well it got to
the point where

the table was going
round, on its own

and we couldn't quite keep up
with the table.

It's clear that
something has taken over.

It was out of control.

Then whatever it is

seems to overpower them.

Oh god!

You're so excited but
at the same time

you're a little bit unnerved
thinking,

"But actually, who is doing
this?"

You know, who is in control of
this table, because we're not.

So this is like

classic mid-19th century
spiritualism action here.

I mean, table-tipping is one
of the most

prominent forms of mediumship

as practiced by
the spiritualist movement.

And I just think it's awesome

to see it's still being used
today

where hands are laid on
a table, very gently

very delicately, so that the
energy that's in that space

can move through people

and end up moving that table.

At first I thought
when these investigators

asked for movement, we might
get a slight wobble

or shuffle but this is
dramatic stuff.

And what makes it all the more
compelling to me

is that they are very clearly
lightly touching the table

and we do get a shot of
their feet

to ensure that they're not
kicking this table.

You can see at
one point in time

only one of them had their
finger on the table

and it was moving back
and forth

faster and with more force
than it had been

when all of them had their
hands on it.

So that was a really pivotal
moment for me to see

that this was pretty intense.

Intense and also
dangerous.

The danger comes in when you
keep hearing them say,

"Use my energy.
Use my energy."

Come on use
our energy.

You're giving
spirit permission

to occupy your body

and benevolent ones may do
just that,

they'll use your energy
and then leave.

But the negative ones,
you're opening the door,

to a host of problems that you
couldn't possibly imagine,

when you innocently brought a
table into an abandoned place.

Fortunately, Claire
and the group

end this session
completely unscathed.

and while they continue to
push the envelope

as far as they can...

If you're a negative
energy,

show us that you're negative.

... they make sure,
to take precautions.

I think there is
always

an element of fear with
the paranormal.

And I do believe that's why
we do it.

But at the end of the day

we're messing about
with something

that we still don't
understand.

So you just have to
be prepared

and protect yourself as much
as you possibly can.

It's nearly midnight.

Nick Erland just left work
and is walking to his car

when he spots a group
of strangers,

all looking up to the sky.

My name is Nick Erland

and I'm the one
that filmed this video.

I was heading home from work,

I saw some people on the other
side of the road looking up

and I walked over and I just
kinda glanced up

and I probably stood there for
30 seconds to a minute

before I ended up pulling out
my phone

And this is what
Nick recorded.

A row of several
lights, crossing the sky.

while one remains steady
below.

Well the first thing, I saw
a couple of lights just moving

and then I realized these
were just

continually going across
the sky, two or three lights.

And then I saw a third
and that's when I realized

just did look like they were
following each other kinda.

That's when it
hits them.

This isn't a row of individual
lights crossing the sky.

It's something much more
mind-blowing.

That to me was like, "Yup,
that makes a lot of sense."

The way these lights are
moving and fading in and out.

You can almost see the big
ship and the lights

going around in your head
in the darkness

if you stare long enough.

I've seen satellites,
I've seen comets, nothing--

Planes, satellites, nothing
comes close

to explaining what I saw.

We don't hear
any noise,

we don't hear any motors,
we don't hear any engines.

we just see these lights

moving in the sky,
nice and slow.

There's almost a
single,

stationary light beneath them

that after you've watched it
for a while, suddenly

your brain puts it in 3D.

And at least I realized
what I'm seeing is

a singular ship,

staying in one place
and rotating

It's actually
spinning and turning around.

It definitely was starting to
make sense that we

were potentially seeing
the lights

on the outer rim of a much
larger craft,

hovering and rotating
there

and that sends chills up
my spine

because that would mean
this thing was enormous.

And if this
is in fact

an enormous extra-terrestrial
craft,

it wouldn't be the first time
something like this

made an appearance
in New Mexico.

New Mexico is fifth

in the United States with
UFO sightings.

Roswell was just that
one incident.

so there's a lot of stuff
happening in New Mexico

that we just can't understand.

The fact that this
was filmed above New Mexico

is no coincidence.
We know about Roswell,

we know about crashes
and military,

and UFOs being in this area,
long, long history.

So there's no doubt there
gonna be hovering

and showing up in
these places again.

Nick agrees.

I think it's very possible.

I not only saw one
but recorded a UFO

along with a group of people
next to me that night.

And regardless of
what was in the sky

Nick says it's changed the way
he views the world.

And his commute home.

I walk down the same road
every night to get to my car

and I go by where I actually
took the video and I

look up every time right next
to the tree where I saw it,

just waiting for it to
happen again.
