From the moment
we started investigating,

things were absolutely
off the charts.

Two ghost hunters
in Pakistan brave a highly haunted auditorium.

This is a place
that just feels ripe

for something terrifying
to happen.

Spirits open doors...

It definitely opened
my eyes up to what else is out there after life.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see... to believe.

Imagine moving into a house and just days later,

you start hearing
unexplained sounds,

like footsteps

and seeing apparitions.

That's what happened to a woman in Ohio.

And to make matters worse,

anyone who lived in the house
with her became violent

or disturbed
and had to move out.

Recently,
a team of investigators

went there to see
if they could help,

and what they found...

What was that?

...is enough to make anyone...

...want to pack their bags.

May 2021, Aetnaville, Ohio.

Ever since moving
into her home about a year ago,

a woman has been experiencing
intense paranormal activity.

The most disturbing
of which happened late one night

when she saw
what she describes as a creature man

that looked like a wet log
with branch-like arms and piercing eyes,

crawling up the stairs
toward her.

Understandably terrified,

she calls
upon four investigators, Pam, Dave,

Ryan and Steve,
to see if they can help out.

He's causing
all the activity up here.

My name is Ryan,
and this is my video.

From the moment
we started investigating,

things just were absolutely
off the charts.

It wasn't me.

The team heads
upstairs to investigate the noise.

Who's up here making noise?

Who is
or what is the creature man

who crawls up these steps?

Ryan fires up
the SLS camera

and invites any spirits
that might be lurking on the stairs to manifest.

Can you show yourself
on these stairs for us?

The SLS camera uses laser,

structured light lasers,
to map shapes.

It's the same technology
that you would use for

a lot of the motion-activated
video games.

And these lasers
will reflect back off

of whatever they're cast onto
and the sensor within the camera

can see the shapes
that are made.

Even if those shapes are paranormal.

- Whoa.
- You got something?

There's something mapped
right down here on the stairs.

Can you walk out towards us,
so we can see you?

Come and show yourself to Pam.

- What was that?
- Did you hear that?

- Yeah.
- That was creepy.

It sounded like
there was an animal right in front of us.

The team is undeterred

by whatever entity is present
and apparently growling.

So whatever it is seems
to drop another hint.

- What was that?
- What the hell is that?

We were walking towards
that back bedroom,

and as we were walking there,

it sounded like
a voice said, "Need to go."

It was pretty chilling to hear
that message.

And the chills
are just beginning.

Are you in here?

Watch closely.

If you don't want us
in this house,

close the door to that bedroom
and we'll leave.

Whoa.

I've got cold chills.

- I do too.
- Oh, so bad.

As I was using the SLS,

there was a figure
that showed up on the camera,

and it looks like
it reaches down

and the hand of it touches
Dave on the back.

And as soon as that figure
touched his back,

all of a sudden,
Dave says, "I have chills."

I've got cold chills.

So bad.
That was weird.

Temperature drops
are a really common

sensory experience
for investigators to have,

and to correlate
that with the SLS camera

showing this humanoid figure
touching Dave,

making contact with him
and knowing that he felt that,

this is the good stuff.

This is where paranormal
investigation really starts to bring together

these scientific devices
with that subjective personal experience.

Since the conversation thus far is decidedly one way,

they try communicating
with the spirit

by using a technique
called the Estes Method.

With the Estes Method,

what they're trying to do
is have the person

who's hearing the input
from the spirit box

be completely cut off
from the questions being asked.

So that the questions
that are being asked,

whatever the person
who's listening in to the spirit box is saying,

if those things match up,

chances are high
that it's not just a coincidence.

Danger.

Who's on danger?

Dave.

As the voices
were coming through,

there was one common
thread that whatever was

there seemed to be
focusing on Dave.

Dave.

Get out.

Why?

But before
they can get a clear answer to that question...

Ow!

What the was that?

Something just poked me right
between the shoulder blades.

Damn, that hurt.

It was like this really
sharp stabbing pain

and it was so intense
and so sudden...

Ow!

...that it caused me
to physically get up and move.

As soon as I walk
back upstairs,

I wanted to see if there was
any marks on my back.

There's something there?

Yeah.

Looks like
it's getting darker, too.

Yeah,
it's starting to burn now.

That's not good,
that's not good at all.

After Ryan is poked,

the activity completely stops
for the next three hours.

Right now, there's nothing.

So the team calls it a night,

but they leave
with more than enough evidence

to validate
the resident's feelings about the house.

That was our goal
on how that investigation was to go in

and not only provide
her with closure

but to also hopefully help
her live in that house more peacefully.

I've got cold chills.

So bad.

Coming up,

ghosts take their seats

in a haunted auditorium
in Pakistan.

There's nothing
quite like a live show.

From the moment
the curtains rise...

to the encore.

The energy shared
by the performers and the audience is palpable.

But what happens to all
that energy

when a theater closes
its doors after a tragic event

and the seats
are left empty for years?

According to one investigator
in Pakistan,

it becomes the catalyst
for a haunting,

and he has the footage
to prove it.

January 2021,
Karachi, Pakistan.

Ghost hunters,
Kashif Khan and Faisal Akhtar,

have just arrived
at an auditorium

that's been sitting empty
for over a decade after a fire broke out,

killing several people.

Recently, it's been undergoing
renovations to reopen,

and workers have reported
hearing screams,

seeing doors open and close
and feeling a presence.

The caretaker
of the auditorium has asked

Kashif and Faisal
to come by and check it out.

And just a few minutes after they enter the building,

Faisal senses something,
and it's not good.

Moments later,

those horrible feelings
turn to terror.

They head to the room

where Faisal
saw the movement.

Hello, this is me,

Kashif notices
a door that is slightly ajar.

And as he pushes
it more open...

Watch again,
as a large board slides across a table on its own.

This large slab,
it's a big item.

For it to have the energy
to move that,

it makes me think
that whatever this is, is fairly powerful.

Powerful enough
to do this right after.

Ahhh!

Ahhh!

Maybe these investigators aren't welcomed here,

because when they go
to enter the room,

the door slams in their face.

It's an obvious reaction
to them coming into that space.

Kashif and Faisal
are freaked out,

but they still
need to investigate the auditorium itself,

so they head there next.

They place
a night-vision camera

pointed at the front row
of seats and let it run.

Then they head up
to the control room at the top of your screen.

Now, watch the seats
on the left-hand side of the front row.

Two seats
have just pushed down

as if someone
is sitting in them.

Then suddenly,
they pop back up.

I've investigated
a lot of auditoriums,

and I find them to be
incredibly haunted locations

because of that type of energy
coming from the performers and the audience members.

All of that energy resonates
within this space

and forms
its own type of haunts.

It seems more like
a residual haunting to me than an intelligent spirit.

These are seats
that would go up and down

when somebody walked
into the theater

and sat down to watch
a play or a movie.

I think
it would be interesting to go back on...

on another day and see
if those same two seats move at the exact same time.

Or maybe
it has something to do with those lives

that were lost
in the fire years ago.

Fire is probably
one of the most traumatic

and painful ways
a person can die,

and that type of energy stains
the location, um,

with the trauma
and the fear of going through that.

Whatever the case may be,

Kashif and Faisal leave
the auditorium

with all the evidence
they need to prove

that the building
is indeed haunted.

Coming up,
when one door mysteriously closes,

another one opens.

What the.

Out of all
the objects for spirits to manipulate,

doors seem to be
the most popular.

Maybe
it's because they're hinged and easy to open and close.

Or perhaps,
they symbolize a passageway

between the deceased
and the living.

Or could it be that ghosts
are simply trying to get into... or out of somewhere?

While we may never know
the answer to those questions,

we do know this.

It can certainly be unnerving
when it happens.

Erie, Pennsylvania.

Todd Peterson has two
70-pound pit bulls

that keep pushing
his bedroom door open to go lay on his bed.

So Todd installs a latch
on the outside of his door to keep them out,

which seemed to do the trick
until something bizarre starts happening.

Watch closely,
as Todd demonstrates.

Okay,
I'm going to lock this.

It's my bedroom door.
I'm gonna lock it.

Okay.

Now, I wonder
if it's going to do it this time.

Probably not.

The latch stays
put for about a minute.

Then...

What the.

It unlatches by itself.

Now we see doors
swing open a lot on this show.

We do not often see
a mechanism,

like a hook and eye lock
being manipulated invisibly while we watch.

This one really, I think,
was especially mind-blowing.

What the.

Todd believes
it could have something to do with the tenant upstairs

who passed away
a month earlier.

You know,
it's a possibility that,

you know, this spirit
was helping out the dogs

and giving them
a place to lay down.

It could be
something as simple as that.

Could be.
Because this type of activity happens a lot.

with a friend when suddenly...

What the.

...a latched
cabinet door swings open on its own.

My name is Amber
and this is my video.

We were just hanging out,
watching TV.

We just noticed,
like the cabinet,

the lock just popped up
and the door swung open,

and it swung open like
halfway and then all the way.

And I was just like...
I was lost for words.

I couldn't believe it.

And it's not over yet.

Watch again,
as now the cabinet door

on the other side
also opens by itself.

Look, look, look.

Okay. All right.
Come on with it.

Come on.
I'm with you.

Oh, my gosh,
that is so creepy.

I'm with you, spirit.

Just like Todd,

Amber thinks she knows
why this is happening.

Just before that happened,

the gentleman that lived back
behind me had passed away,

and apparently,

he was in his apartment
for three days before anybody found him.

The fact
that this man's body

was left undiscovered for days
after his passing is terribly sad,

but also quite curious
from a paranormal standpoint

because there are theories

that ghosts
are restless spirits with unfinished business,

and that unfinished business,
in this case,

could be wanting to be found,
wanting to be more.

What the.

And sometimes,

these phenomena might be
caused by someone even closer to home.

King George, Virginia.

Chris Johnson gets an alert
that an outdoor security camera

had been triggered
while he was sleeping,

so he checks the footage
and sees this.

The refrigerator door opens
and then...

closes on its own.

My name is Chris,
and this is my video.

At first, I was like,

"No, this...
this just didn't happen."

I thought maybe,
at first, it might have been wind doing it,

but we've had storms with
30-plus mile an hour winds after that,

and I've sat outside
and watched it,

and that refrigerator door
never moved.

Generally,
refrigerators are not an appliance

where you want the doors
to be popping open randomly.

First of all, it defeats
the purpose of keeping the things inside cold.

And secondly,

you don't want a child
or an animal

or something crawling
in there,

getting locked inside.

So these doors
are usually pretty secure.

For one to just fall open
like that seems...

very unusual.

Unusual, yes,
but there may be a very clear explanation for it.

Chris and his wife moved
into his parents' house

soon after his dad died
to keep an eye on his mom.

And he believes
his father's passing

might have something to do
with the refrigerator door opening on its own.

He actually passed away
at the house in his workshop that we had out back,

literally right by the fridge.

It was actually
his refrigerator.

He had his own shop
in the backyard

and that refrigerator
came out of there,

and that's where he kept
all of his drinks at.

And the refrigerator door isn't the only sign

that the spirit
of Chris's father might still be around.

We've had incidents
where there's been a kitchen chair

from the dining room
in front of the kitchen door.

Now it could be
the wife at home,

nobody else here.

And I didn't do it.
She didn't do it.

So we don't know
how it got there.

Is it a possibility
that the dad is still at this home

and walking around?

I'm going to say yes.

Maybe this gentleman
was just opening

and shutting the refrigerator,

just checking out
what was in there and making sure,

uh, he was still fully
stocked.

Luckily,
no one in the home is bothered by all the activity.

In fact, Chris and his family
welcome it.

I check that camera
religiously now to see what else I could catch.

It's really brought it
to my attention that,

you know, maybe there...

there are spirits around us
that we...

we can't see them,
but they're there.

Coming up,

a Sasquatch-like creature
is spotted in Utah.

When you think of Utah,

what comes to mind? Skiing?

National parks?

Sasquatch?
That's right.

Believe it or not,
Utah is a major hotspot for Bigfoot sightings...

which makes sense because
the mountainous terrain

is ideal for such a creature
to not only thrive,

but also hide.

But that didn't stop a man
and his son

from catching
a remarkable video

of the legendary cryptic.

October 24, 2020,
Logan Canyon, Utah.

Tom and Nathan Jewkes
are driving to town

after a day spent
in the woods deer hunting,

when they see something odd
at the base of a mountain.

To get a better look at it,

Tom pulls over and grabs
a pair of binoculars,

while Nathan starts
recording on his cell phone.

Look closely at what appears
to be a large, dark,

bipedal figure,
walking rapidly across the field.

After observing it
for a few moments,

Nathan and Tom
have the same thought.

Could this be Bigfoot?

My name is Tom.

My name is Nathan.

And this is our video.

I just remember taking the video and thinking like,

"Wow, that really
looks like Bigfoot."

When I looked at him
through the binoculars,

he was definitely all covered
in black except for his eyes.

And I remember nowhere else
on his body was exposed.

It wasn't that cold.

I mean, it was chilly,

but it wasn't
that kind of cold

where you'd wear a ski mask
or even a heavy,

heavy coat
at that time of day.

And even more notable is that the figure

is not wearing bright orange
during hunting season.

Since he wasn't wearing
orange, it was kind of like,

"This guy better
put some orange on

or else he's going to get
shot, possibly," so...

Yeah, especially
all covered in black.

This is an area
where people use high-powered rifles,

and if you're not wearing
an orange hunter's vest,

you're really
just asking to be killed.

After a few seconds,

whoever
or whatever it is seems to realize

that Tom and Nathan
have their eyes on it.

I saw his eyes
and he looked at me

and he kept eye contact
with me for quite some time until I backed down.

And I remember thinking,
that's odd.

And I pulled away
and didn't think anything of it, except for,

"Hey,
we've got this great footage of what looks like Sasquatch."

And later that day,

when Tom and Nathan
review the footage,

they find even more reason
to believe that what they saw was Bigfoot.

We were fortunate
because there was in the video,

you see,
there's some snow markers

where he walked by
and we know how high those snow markers are,

so we were actually
able to sort of get an estimated height

and we figured it was at least
over 8' tall.

You can tell
whatever this thing is, is massive.

It has broad shoulders,
long arms,

and it maneuvers the way
Bigfoots are described as walking.

This is right in my backyard,

and this is absolutely a place

where lots and lots of people
have seen Bigfoot.

I've had students bring
casts of footprints

they've made into my office
that they themselves took in Logan Canyon,

so it's not surprising
to get additional footage from this place.

This is an extreme
environment for us,

and that's prime habitat
for something like a Sasquatch to live in.

They want to be in a place
where it's very difficult for humans to traverse,

for us to navigate.

And so when you have territory
like this location,

I think it's a prime,
prime place for them to hide.

A week later,

Tom meets up with Kelly Shaw
from the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization

to try an experiment
at the location of the sighting.

Tom walks the same exact path
as the figure had,

while Kelly films him
from the spot

where Tom and Nathan
had seen it.

Hunting season is over,

so Tom doesn't need
to wear orange.

I'm 6' tall
and about 210 pounds,

so I'm a fairly large man,

but this figure trumped me
by two or three times.

It's difficult
to say for certain

if Tom and Nathan captured
proof of Sasquatch that day,

but it's even more difficult
to say they didn't.

We weren't believers,
but I'll tell you,

I'm a lot more of a believer
now than I was before we took the video,

and the things
that I can't explain

in that video
are more circumstantial than the things that I can.

Coming up,
a ghostly figure manifests,

then walks toward
a morgue in Peru.

Working in a hospital is not for everyone.

Even employees
who don't deal directly with hurt,

sick or dying patients,

such as administrators
or security guards,

might have to face
some ghastly sites.

And then, of course,

there is all
the paranormal activity.

Because with all that death
and trauma,

some hospitals are among
the most haunted places in the world.

Just ask a man in Peru
who captured something

that hospital staff members
everywhere can probably relate to.

A ghost.

Callao, Peru.

For three years, Jesus Marzano
was an administrator

at the Daniel Alcides Carrion
National Hospital.

And over that time,

he experienced
what can only be described

as disturbing
paranormal activity.

My name is Jesus Marzano, and this is my video.

All of this, unfortunately,

was never caught on camera,

that is, until the night
of March 19, 2018.

When two coworkers
in surveillance call Jesus to their office

to show him something bizarre.

It's CCTV footage
from a few hours earlier

that was captured
in the passageway

between the burn unit
and the morgue.

Watch closely,

as a figure seems to manifest
as it walks past the camera,

and then it slowly disappears
as it reaches the other side.

Jesus and the others know
immediately

that what they are seeing
is not of this world.

Okay,
this one is pretty wild.

We have this clearly
human figure materialize

out of nowhere.

And as it walks along,

it sometimes seemed
to phase out with its head even disappearing at times.

What also strikes me
about this is the casual walk of this figure.

It doesn't appear
to be in any hurry,

and yet it is moving
with purpose.

It's going somewhere.

This section of the hospital
is near the morgue,

and that would seem
to make some sort of sense.

Because if this is
where the body

is right before it takes
that final journey,

either to the grave
or to the crematorium,

maybe there's still
some lingering of spirit,

maybe there is
some transitory time

where the spirit gets to do
its final walk,

its last rounds, if you will.

I think what adds
a lot of credibility to this video

and that it is a ghost
is the fact that the staff here

have seen spirits walk
right past them in the office.

They've had
all of this activity happening indoors,

so they're seeing basically
the same thing.

And now we just have
this ability to see it outside walking

and captured
on the security camera.

And this kind of activity

is not limited
to this hospital alone.

I've talked to a lot of people
that work in hospitals,

and when they find out
what I do, they go,

"Oh, man, you know
what happened to me?

And you know
what I saw this one time?"

It doesn't surprise me
that the staff at this particular hospital

are experiencing phenomena
like they are.

And though Jesus is no longer at this particular hospital,

he is just grateful
to have something tangible

that validates what he felt
while working there.

Coming up,

a blinking UFO stuns
a family in Arizona.

Arizona has
long been considered a hotbed for UFO activity.

From a reported crash
near Phoenix in 1947

that some believe
was covered up

by the building of a dam
over the wreckage,

to a man named Travis Walton,

who claims to have been
abducted by a UFO

while at Apache-Sitgreaves
National Park in 1975,

to perhaps
the most widely-known event,

which took place in 1997,

when thousands of people
saw silent orbs in a boomerang formation,

also known
as the Phoenix Lights.

And recently,
a man captured footage of yet

something else in Arizona
that only adds to the lore.

June 2019,
Cave Creek, Arizona.

A man named Shane
and his family are swimming in their pool

when they spot something
peculiar in the sky.

So peculiar
that Shane jumps out of the pool,

grabs his phone
and starts recording.

Watch closely,

as a solid black object seems
to blink in and out of view,

mesmerizing Shane.

My name is Shane,
and this is my video.

This is the first time
I've seen anything

I would call a UFO
or something I couldn't identify in the sky.

I'm familiar
with what UFOs look like on TV and Internet,

but this looked different
to me,

so it was particularly
intriguing.

The bizarre
UFO hovers in one spot for about five minutes.

Then slowly
drifts toward the east and out of Shane's view.

I was excited,
it was something different

and it was so far away
that I didn't feel like threatened or anything.

So, what did Shane
and his family see that day?

Whatever this UFO might be,

it doesn't really behave like
any other UFO I've ever seen.

It doesn't seem to have
a recognizable flight pattern.

It just seems suspended
in mid-air,

but it's sort of flip-flopping
back and forth.

And when it goes sideways,
we can't see it anymore,

so it's sort of blinking
on and off.

I don't think
my brain sees blinking when I look at this,

it's not a light turning
on and off,

it's something that's there
and then not there.

The closest I could come
to understanding

this was something
is testing some sort of invisibility shield

or a cloaking device,
something that makes it visible and then invisible.

It almost appeared
to be shaking

or doing some kind of maneuver
that revealed an underbelly

or a side of it
that was completely black.

There's no wings
on this thing.

There's no propulsion.

It is just stationary
up in the air,

like it's searching
for something.

If this is in fact a UFO,

it doesn't seem to be
flying very well

and it almost seems to be
in distress.

If so,
it wouldn't be the first time.

There are actually
two versions of a story

about a UFO crash
in this area.

On one hand, we have
the Dreamy Draw Dam crash site,

which is said
to have taken place in 1947

and the government supposedly
built a dam atop the wreckage.

On the other hand,
there's the Cave Creek story,

and in that one
which occurred later,

supposedly a landfill
was built atop the wreckage,

which then
led to contaminated water and toxic land.

Think about how rare
a UFO crash

that we have any sort of
certain evidence,

whether
that's physical evidence

or oral history
or documented history.

That's a rare occurrence
on the whole.

So if a place
where that has happened

starts to see
additional UFO activity,

there's sort of no way
that's a coincidence.

Whatever Shane
saw that day remains a mystery,

but he feels fortunate
to have seen it at all.

I feel like
I don't ever see strange things,

so it was pretty thrilling
to see something that was strange

and out of the ordinary
and be able to catch it on camera.

What should you do
in the event you witness something paranormal?

Ow!

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

Keep a safe distance
from the creatures.

Never stop filming,
even if you're scared.
