The fact that
the cops were called

and they actually
saw this entity

and wasn't able to find it,

that speaks volumes to me.

A mysterious creature

crosses a highway
in Great Britain.

We have to consider
the fact that this is something

that we don't have
a category for yet.

And this is its
first appearance.

A couple
in Missouri...

are living...
with a poltergeist.

That was probably
one of the scariest things that's happened

'cause I was actually
touched and I didn't know.

And even
more paranormal footage

you have to see...

What is that?

...to believe.

Moving into a new
place should be exciting.

Right?

Unless of course...

you realize that
your new space

is already occupied...

by someone or some thing

you can't see.

That's what's happening
to a couple in Missouri.

And they
are already preparing

to pack all their
things up again,

and move out.

Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Chris Schaffer and his wife
just bought a house.

After settling in,

unexplained things
keep happening,

making them
suspect their home...

might be haunted.

So Chris installs a couple
of security cameras,

hoping to find out if
what they are sensing

is true.

And over the course
of five months,

he accumulates enough evidence

to prove it is.

Case in point.

One morning,
Chris is downstairs

getting ready for work

when the camera that sits
in his living room window

detects movement in
the dining room.

Keep your eyes on
the blinds in the background.

And the sliding glass doors...

are closed.

My name is Chris
and this is my video.

I was downstairs
getting ready for work.

And, uh,

I just came upstairs
to let the dogs out

and then I just left for work.

I didn't even know
until that afternoon,

because I got the notification
but I assumed it was just me

walking in front
of the camera.

It looked
like a spirit had

entered into the home through
the sliding glass doors,

because those blinds
moved in such a way that

something kinda walked through
and spread them open.

You can see them move
forward as if something had walked through.

A different day,

the same camera
captures a light fixture

moving on its own.

Even one of Chris'
dogs takes notice.

Meanwhile...

Chris is downstairs.

I kept getting notifications
and I was just ignoring them

'cause the dogs were up there.

And then I got it again.

So I pulled the app up

and I seen it moving
before I started recording

on my desktop.

And I watched it for a while.

In the video you can
see it come up

and kinda stop for a second

before it drops down, so...

It's not really a
normal movement.

Chris is baffled.

So he goes upstairs.

I'm walking up here...

In my mind,
I'm trying to figure out

what caused it.

When stuff like
that kinda happens

in front of you,
it kinda throws you off.

It's like a... it's kinda
like an adrenaline rush,

to be honest.

On another night,
a wine glass inexplicably...

...falls from the countertop.

We were just
cleaning up a little bit.

And I grabbed a couple
of dishes from downstairs,

brought up,
I set on the ledge,

and I went back to our room

and my wife is
ready to go to bed.

So I went downstairs
to grab her blankets

out of the dryer,
and as I was coming upstairs,

it just went...

It just shot off the counter.

Now, if you look, the thing
doesn't slide, doesn't fall,

it seems to be
knocked straight out.

As if somebody,
with an unseen hand, perhaps,

hit it and knocked
it straight forward

before it actually went down.

What's interesting is
that he puts two wine glasses

on the counter,

and yet only one of
those wine glasses

gets thrown to the floor
with such motion

that it shatters.

That seems very
intentional to me.

And the activity
is not limited to upstairs.

Late one night,

Chris hears a banging sound
on a door in the basement.

So he grabs his phone

and starts recording.

Chris is freaked out

and walks over
to the sliding door.

But finds
nothing in the bathroom

that could've
caused it to open.

When poltergeists
move stuff in a house,

it's usually stuff that's
really easily movable.

So, things on hinges,

things that can swing
open and swing closed.

But the motion

that opens a pocket door

is a lot more purposeful
and a lot more forceful

than something that simply
swings open a door

that's already on
well-oiled hinges.

So, whatever is
happening here,

it's got a lot of
force behind it.

But all
those events

pale in comparison

to what happens
to Chris one day

while he is sleeping.

Watch closely.

My wife said she was hearing
things earlier that night

so I rewatched
over that footage

and when I was fast
forwarding through,

I can just see my shirt
move real quick,

I went back and saved that...
that section.

That one's probably
one of the scariest things that's happened 'cause...

'cause I was actually touched.

And I didn't know.

When you live in
a house where it seems like

things are being
manipulated on their own...

that's one thing.

But when something gets
up close and personal

and you're the one
being manipulated,

that is eerie.

So, who or what...

is haunting Chris' house?

There definitely
seems to be some

elements of a residual
haunting where you see that

kind of common
activity, right? Where someone's coming in

and out through the sliding
glass doors, or

things start to
get moved around.

So, these things could
just be this residual

of someone that had
lived at this place before

that had since passed on
and wants to come back

and visit this location.

Or, could
it be something...

even more mind-blowing?

There's
another theory that

hauntings may not
necessarily be because of

people from the past.

Hauntings could also be coming

from the future.

So what if that spot

is some sort of time slip,

and the activity is coming
from the people who

lived in that house
after he leaves.

Whatever's going on,

Chris is learning
to live with it.

There's times
I'm used to it,

and there's times that...

if nothing happens
for a while,

I kind of forget about it.

His wife,
on the other hand...

If it keeps up
the way it's going,

or if it gets any stronger,

we can't get anybody
to get rid of it,

my wife definitely
wants to move.

And really...

can you blame her?

This is haunted.

When you
check into a hotel,

do you ever think about what
might've happened in the room

before you got there?

Chances are...

you're better off not knowing.

And it doesn't have
to be an historic inn

with a guestlist that
dates back decades.

Because sometimes,

even the newest
and most modern hotels

have a tale to tell.

Recently,

two paranormal investigators

found themselves in
what seemed to be

a very haunted
Las Vegas hotel room.

And it's safe to say...

Whoa, whoa, dude.

... they
were shocked...

Go that way, go that way.

... by what
they discovered.

December 2020.

Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sonny Deeds and CJ Faison

are staying at
a hotel on the Strip.

They weren't planning on doing
an investigation this night.

But when a housekeeper comes
to bring them extra linens,

something she says

freaks them out.

So Sonny grabs a camera

and CJ rehashes
what just happened.

- My name is CJ.
- And I'm Sonny.

And this is our video.

The way that the maid
looked at us,

I knew there was
something severely wrong

at that point in time.

And that's why
I looked at Sonny,

he looked at me,

and we just kinda
had that weird

feeling like, "Okay,
something's off here."

You could
actually hear it

in her voice.

You could just tell

that she had seen
something that scared her.

So we're like,
"Okay, where...

Where did she see this man?"

Hoping to find
whatever frightened the housekeeper,

Sonny and CJ

break out their
ghost hunting equipment

that they still have with them

from a prior investigation.

We have the PMB box,

we have the dowsing rods
and we have the Estes Method,

uh, Spirit Box.

So, what we're gonna do,

we're gonna go ahead
and get set up here,

on this table

and, uh,

we are going to start, uh,

the investigation.

First, they set a
motion detector in the hallway

near the front door

where the housekeeper
saw something.

All right,
so if that goes off,

obviously something has
made motion in front of it.

Then, they sit
down with dowsing rods,

which are used to
detect a flow of energy

and help people to communicate

with the other side.

If the spirit wanted
to move those rods

in a yes or no fashion,

you say "Yes"
to cross 'em or...

"Yes" to open 'em,
whatever you choose to.

If there are any spirits
here with us right now,

answer "Yes."

Are you trying to mo-- Oh!

Okay. Okay.

That's, like, a surefire,
like, definite "yes."

Okay, and if you
died in this room,

can you point these

to a direction

of where your body was?

When he starts
to see them start to move

and cross and you
see his eyes light up and...

I've been there, I've felt
that, I've held them.

Seeing them kind of go

crisscross or seeing them

completely turn in
a certain direction

and feeling that pull...

These things work.

Then, as CJ is
resetting the rods...

Just trying to get
them straight back together--

...two loud,
unexplainable noises

come from either
end of the suite.

All of a sudden, over here,
near where the minibar was,

something flew
off the counter.

As soon as that happened,
I startle back, right?

And Sonny...
he fell back, too.

You jumped back into me.
It scared you so much.

Just be honest,

it scared...
You jumped back into me.

I was terrified.

And then there was
a noise off to our right.

I mean, we both
fell backwards and...

extremely embarrassing.

And now that's on TV.

After
recovering from the fall,

CJ and Sonny go to find out
what made the noise.

Oh, my God!
Look at this, dude!

Holy!

I had set up
all of my items,

toothbrush, deodorant,
everything like that on the counter.

And all of it was
on the ground.

I had all my
toiletry stuff right up here.

I think there was more
confusion than anything

at that point.

And the activity...

continues.

What the hell
was the noise over here?

What the?

These are... these are
strobing just like this one.

From all
sides of the suite.

Normally,
in a... in a location

where you're getting
some paranormal activity,

you usually get one
thing that'll happen,

you know, maybe something.

But just the rapid
succession...

Dude, I don't know.

What the hell?

There was more going on than
we had ever anticipated.

This is haunted.

One thousand percent haunted.

Now realizing
a spirit is likely in their room,

CJ and Sonny try to
communicate with it

by using another technique

called the Estes Method.

That method there is when
someone is blindfolded

and has, uh, noise
cancelling headphones on,

connected to what
we call a Spirit Box.

Now, Sonny is in a different
room asking questions

and all I can
hear is just static.

And every once in a while
you'll get a word

or a sentence or a phrase
within there.

And I'm just calling out
all that I'm hearing

the entire time.

Can you please help
me try to communicate

with the spirit that could
possible be here--

She came!

Who came?

Private something.
Private something.

Richard!
That was clear. Richard!

Richard? Okay.
We got Richard.

"Everybody on the floor."

So what's
really interesting

is that the investigator
that's in the experiment

is spitting out all of these
names, these occurrences,

and that makes sense
to me, because

he might be connecting with
energies of previous guests

who have stayed there.

And maybe not
just in that room,

but in that whole hotel.

Tell me the name
of the female

that is involved
in this incident.

"Real blood."

"Oh, no!"

Dude, I gotta take this...
I gotta take this off.

Okay, yeah.
There is a lot of--

Jeez!

There is a lot
of things coming through.

At this point,

CJ and Sonny feel they
have enough evidence

to conclude that
the housekeeper was right.

Something is definitely
haunting their room.

Vegas
is literally Sin City.

So yeah, these rooms are
highly active, you know,

and it's gonna take
a lot more than

room service
turning over the suite

to get rid of that energy.

It did cross our minds,

"Do we need to go find
another room for the night?"

Oh, we do,
we gotta sleep in here.

But even though
they were freaked out...

...they plan
on going back for more.

We're heading out
there next month

to go do another
investigation.

So many questions that
have got to be answered

for us to be able to be like,

"All right, let's
take this out of our head now and be done with it."

Dude,
there's no way.

This is nuts, man.

what bizarre being

crosses this highway
in Great Britain?

When you're driving
down the road at night,

there's nothing more startling

than a near miss
with a crossing animal.

- After all...

... a head-on collision...

...could be catastrophic
for everyone involved.

But, did you know
that every single night,

all around the world,

creatures cross
busy roads in traffic

without ever even
being noticed?

Because they're
either too fast,

too small,

or in some very rare cases,

too... otherworldly.

Such was the case
in England one night,

when a CCTV camera caught
something crossing the road

that defies all explanation.

November 2007.

Dorset, England.

It's a seemingly normal
night on the A338 motorway.

But not for long.

Did you see it?

Watch again in slow motion,

as some kind of
creature on all fours

comes out of nowhere

and dashes across
the highway's four lanes,

just missing a collision
with a passing motorist.

An animal crossing
a highway is not unusual.

But watch again.

In even slower
motion and zoomed in.

And you can see that
this is no ordinary animal.

If it's even an animal...

at all.

This creature
crossing the highway,

at first it looks
like it's a deer.

But then, upon
closer inspection,

you see that this looks
almost humanoid,

kind of bent down
and moving on all fours

where it would naturally
be walking on two feet.

There are cars going about
60 to 70 on this highway,

and whatever this creature is,

is moving so fast that it is

avoiding being
hit by these cars,

and is strong enough to jump
and easily clear a divider between the lanes.

The shape that we see, the
form that this thing takes,

long legs,
very humanoid-looking.

It doesn't seem to
make sense, my...

only natural,
potential explanation is

some primate,
some close to human-shaped creature

that might run this way,
run on all fours.

But of course,
there are no large primates

that are indigenous to the UK.

And no human being
could ever move like that.

So then... what exactly
are we looking at here?

The way that this moves
says "cryptid" to me.

Says that this is
some sort of creature,

a monster-seeming creature,
made more monstrous

by its similarities
to human form.

My mind immediately leapt
to things like skin walkers,

humans that
change into animals

in an unnatural way,

something in between
human and animal.

This reminds
me of a creature that we've been studying

here in the States for
a couple of years now called the Pale Walker.

Now, this is
a humanoid-type creature

that's said to live
underground in caves.

And it's said to be very
skinny, and hairless.

Now, if you look
at these two creatures,

and you kind of put them side
by side, they certainly look

very similar.

Terrifying, but...

there is also the possibility

that this is something
that we simply cannot wrap our heads around

just yet.

Because this
doesn't line up neatly

to the things that have
been pre-established,

we have to consider the fact
that this is something

that hasn't been seen before,

that we don't have
a category for yet.

And this is its
first appearance.

a neighborhood in Ohio

with a ghost problem.

There are
plenty of specific places

that are notorious
for paranormal activity.

Such as hospitals,
hotels and theaters,

but can a large area,
like an entire neighborhood,

be haunted?

That seemed to be the case
of one town in Ohio,

where residents have
called upon the police,

more than once,
to come check on suspicious

and perhaps
supernatural activity.

Like this.

Mentor, Ohio.

March 10th, 2021.

It's 10:40 p.m.

Multiple residents
have called the police

to report a young girl
running erratically

around their neighborhood.

Officer Mike Mullaney is
dispatched to check it out.

When he arrives,

he sees what looks
like a small child...

running.

But when he gets out of
his car to approach her,

the child seems to vanish.

A K9 unit and drone

are sent out to
search for her as well.

But they find nothing.

Strange, right?

Even stranger is when
Officer Mullaney checks the footage from his dashcam.

The child he saw
with his own eyes,

doesn't show up.

But one piece of evidence
does turn up,

from a resident's
security camera.

Watch closely.

Did you catch that?

Look across the street,

as a small transparent figure

runs from left to right.

This is enough

to make people think that
whatever was running around the neighborhood that night,

was no child.

At least,
not one that's living.

This is exciting footage,

because you can
clearly see a figure

emerge between a
house and a tree line,

take a turn and hustle
down the street in a hurry.

But what makes
this really incredible,

is it lines up with multiple
eyewitness accounts.

It's been documented
on camera,

and we have a police officer

going on record
with visual confirmation

of something strange.

But, how did
residents, a CCTV camera,

and the police officer see
the child-like figure,

yet the dashcam
in the patrol car

did not?

We know that technology

can often see things that we
can't see with the naked eye,

but sometimes the
naked eye can see things

that technology can't see.

And we seem to have

an instance of both

in this case, so,

the surveillance camera
is capturing something

that was not perhaps
visible with the naked eye at that moment,

but the police officer
sees something

that the cameras that
he has don't even detect.

Just those two
things put together

seem to suggest,

"Okay, something
anomalous is happening."

And this
wasn't the first time

Officer Mullaney was sent to
check on something anomalous

in that very same
neighborhood.

In 2018,

a couple called 911

when their baby monitor
captured something terrifying

in their daughter's bedroom.

This is a photo
taken from the monitor

for the police report.

The woman in this photo

was not in the room

when they rushed in to
check on their daughter.

And they have no idea...

who she is.

When Officer Mullaney
arrived at the scene,

he couldn't find any
evidence of forced entry.

And to our knowledge,

the incident remains
an unsolved mystery.

this is terrifying.

Now, obviously there
shouldn't be anybody in there,

yet, there we
have a clear picture

of an elderly woman
in possibly a nightgown

looking over this crib.

Now, if you zoom
in on the face,

there's just
something odd about it.

The face that
the person is making,

it just doesn't look
like a comfortable face.

Just something about
the entire image is just

terribly upsetting.

If they had known that woman,
that would've been in the report.

If there had been
a woman in their house,

the police investigation
would've discovered it.

And yet, there it is,
clear as day,

a woman. I mean,

she doesn't even
look particularly scary

other than the fact
that we know

she couldn't actually
have been there.

So, could
these two ghostly sightings

in Mentor, Ohio, be connected?

The fact that this elderly
woman in this image

and the ghost child

that was seen running down
the road seem to be

generating from
the same little area,

that kinda makes me
wonder if there was something

tragic that took
place there years ago.

Or is this some
sort of window area

where spirits can
come in and out?

It's not
far-fetched for me

to think that a whole
neighborhood is haunted.

I think that collectively,

there is a phenomenon
happening within this neighborhood,

and the fear of the residents

might actually be
feeding the activity.

And so, therefore,
perpetuating

more ghostly sightings
and activities to happen

in the neighborhood.

For centuries,
classic monsters

like vampires,
werewolves, and mummies

have taken
center stage in folklore.

But...

around 2009,

a new terrifying being
emerged online,

quickly becoming
the stuff of nightmares.

The Slenderman.

A tall, faceless creature
in a black suit and tie

with long arms, perfect for
snatching its young victims.

And though its origins can be
traced back to Internet lore,

there are those who believe
that the collective power of thought

has manifested this creature

into a real world horror.

And a woman in West Virginia

might have proof
of its existence.

July 2014,

Ronceverte, West Virginia.

Loriann Butler is
filming some deer

in the field across
from her house.

Later on,
she uploads her footage

and forgets about it.

Until years later,

when in January 2020,

Loriann is rewatching
some old videos,

and happens to notice
something peculiar

about this one.

Watch closely

as a tall stick-like figure

runs across the field
in the background.

Loriann is understandably

freaked out.

My name is Loriann Butler

and this is my video.

I noticed something moving
and I couldn't figure out what it was.

It looked really eerie.

It definitely wasn't a person.

It was frightening to look at.

Whatever this
thing is, runs out of frame

and seemingly
disappears into thin air,

only to briefly
reappear moments later.

Then... vanish for good.

It looks like a very
tall, dark... figure

up on stilts,
walking through the field,

and I guarantee you,
there was no one on stilts anywhere.

And I never noticed anything,
everything was just normal.

It was fine.

And I... Lookin' at that
off in the distance,

I'm thinking,

"What is that?"

Good question.

It's hard to say

what we're seeing in
this clip because it's so...

unexpected, it almost sort of
breaks your brain to try and figure it out.

I have seen a lot of clips

of paranormal
and supernatural things.

I've not seen
anything like this.

It appears to be tall,

skinny, almost impossibly so.

And the way it moves

is not quite natural, it's
almost cartoonish in nature.

And at one point,
it disappears from view,

it blends into its background.

Later, as she pans over,
it appears again.

But then you see something

almost very similar,

almost another of its kind

follow it and then
both disappear,

only to be seen a third time

as it pops into view
and then disappears.

What's
often described with

beings, whether
it's UFOs or spirits,

there seems to be this
interdimensional element

that they can just disappear
or reappear or vanish.

And this seems to react
and behave in that same way.

Almost like this flash
of light, then it's just...

gone.

So...

how did such a large,
imposing creature

go completely
unnoticed by Loriann

when she was filming?

The fact that Loriann
did not see this figure

as she was filming could
suggest one of a couple of things.

Perhaps this entity simply
cannot be seen by the naked eye.

Maybe it's one of
these strange things that only seems to be

picked up by video cameras.

Your eyes can deceive you...

don't trust them.

A camera, however,

isn't looking to see
or omit anything,

it just captures what's there.

And what is here

is almost unexplainable.

Well, there is
one possible explanation.

The Slenderman.

An eerie, faceless figure

who is said to stalk
and abduct children.

Slenderman was
a creation of the Internet,

but if millions of people

collectively
invest their energy

in assigning characteristics
to this creature,

we could essentially
be creating

a tulpa, a thought form,
that comes from our own minds

and enters the physical realm.

Fear energy can
actually create a reality.

If enough people fear
the Slenderman,

that collective
consciousness of fear

towards this character
will actually manifest it.

A scary thought,

but not quite as scary

as some other theories.

It's entirely possible
there could be something ever more nefarious

and more dangerous
going on here

that we simply
haven't uncovered yet.

Imagine that this is
something that's extraterrestrial in origin.

An alien race that can
tap into our thoughts,

our dark thoughts, our deep
thoughts and maybe

in that search of
our consciousness,

it came upon
the Slenderman creature,

and decided to
manifest as such.

So, maybe
Slenderman isn't real

because something that
existed in this world,

but now,
because of our thoughts

and an interaction
with an alien race...

maybe now he is real.

In a sense.

Whatever
this creature was,

Loriann thankfully

hasn't seen it since.

There's been
a lot of times

when I'm letting my cat out
or in and I'm standing here in the doorway,

I don't see anything,

and I'm thinking...

is it gonna be something
that would come back?

Or is it something
that just moves along

from one place to the next?

If it is
what we think it is,

let's hope it just
keeps on moving on.

is always
a startling experience.

But despite
how mind-blowing it is,

there is usually something

familiar about
the object itself.

Round, glowing,

moving in a slow,
steady pattern.

And even though we may
never have seen it before,

we somehow know exactly
what we're looking at.

That's UFOs
for sure, man.

But that
wasn't the case for three

recent UFO sightings
from around the world.

Because the shapes
of the objects were so odd,

and so unfamiliar,

that the only reasonable
response to seeing that

was...

Dude, what is that?

August 2017,

Wildwood, Missouri.

Jordan Guest
is in her backyard

with a couple of friends,

when she spots
something odd in the sky

and...

it's heading their way.

Dude, what is that?

It looks like a person.
Dude!

It's a floating,
black object

in the shape of a person.

And it seems to be rotating.

It doesn't have
propellers or lights

and it's completely silent.

Now, this thing almost
looks like a flying humanoid.

And believe it or not, these
things have been reported all throughout the country

for quite a while now.

It looks like a person.

There's all
kinds of different theories

as to what these
entities actually are.

They range from aliens to
interdimensional travelers,

time travelers, to even

military experiments
with the jetpacks.

But the bottom line is,
we don't know what these things are.

Another head
scratching sighting took place in Anaheim, California,

January 2020,

when Christian Benoulos
captured this black object

floating in the sky.

At first glance,
it looks to be a bird.

But no bird can
defy the laws of gravity.

It almost looked
like it was tumbling

through the sky.

Because it kept changing shape
it was changing formation,

but it wasn't falling.

It wasn't moving,
it was just tumbling,

somehow.

We just assume

that an alien craft would
have to be large enough

to carry humanoid shapes

that are roughly our size.

And what if they
were a lot smaller?

What if they were even
microscopic in nature

and something like this could
be a craft that is holding

hundreds of thousands

of alien beings, but to us,

it seems insignificant.

The fact that
it's frozen there

hovering, almost,

we would dismiss it as just
another bird in the sky.

But maybe
that's what they want.

Maybe.

Seven months later,
in Zamosc, Poland.

Merzhard Molas is near
the city's historic fort

taking photos of the sunset,

when he notices
something rise from a tree

and fly toward him.

At first
Merzhard thinks it's a bird.

But as it descends
closer to him,

it appears to
diminish in size.

The mysterious
object hovers for a moment,

then falls toward the ground.

Then suddenly,
it reverses course

and flies away.

Once again, changing size.

Even more puzzling,

Merzhard claims there wasn't
any wind that day

and the UFO was
completely silent.

How can something
like this stay in the air for so long

without any
noticeable propulsion or wind?

A good question,

which can be
asked of all three UFOs.

But, we may never
know the answer.

The only thing we
do know for certain,

is that these things
are out there,

and until a logical
explanation presents itself,

we'll just have to
keep wondering,

Dude, what is that?

What should you do
in the event you witness something paranormal?
