It was terrifying to hear.

paranormal footage

Nursing homes are meant to help the elderly

live a higher
quality of life.

Most of them, at least.

In 2015,

a surprise inspection
at one facility in England

revealed a horrible truth.

Residents went weeks
without being bathed,

rooms overflowed with garbage

and reeked of body odor
and urine.

It was clear
that patient abuse

was rampant.

Shortly thereafter,
it was shut down,

leaving the building
abandoned and bad energy

bouncing
through the hallways.

And you know
what that means.

arrive at
the Mossley Manor Care home

to finally check it off
their list

of places to investigate.

Look at that.
Absolutely amazing.

And almost immediately,

the two of them
get a troubling vibe

from the building.

I explored an abandoned
care home with Matt.

We go to a lot
of abandoned buildings

and we're quite used to it.

But this place,

it just got a bit
of a funny feeling about it.

The overwhelming feeling
of... you're not alone

and there is
something else there

and it feels uncomfortable.

The camera
will never pick that up.

Don't be
so sure about that.

Matt and Andy are
in the manor's laundry room.

When their camera
picks up something

they don't.

Yeah.

Did you catch that?

Listen again
as the voice of a young girl

seems to answer
Matt's question.

Matt and Andy
only hear it later,

when reviewing the footage.

I'm a bit of skeptic,
so I asked him later

watch it back or listen to it
two or three times

before I actually
believe anything.

But, when you do hear it,

you think: "Yeah, there's
definitely something there."

What they captured here

is what's classically known
as an EVP

or electronic voice phenomena.

It's a type of phenomena that,
in the present moment,

when you're investigating,
you don't hear it at all.

But, at the time,
Matt and Andy

have no idea
that a spirit is nearby,

until...

It's
like good quality wallpaper.

Yeah.

Yeah, you can see,
it goes up again.

Hello?

Watch closely
as Matt sees a dark shadow

at the top of the stairs

that quickly darts away
and out of sight.

Hello?

Andy didn't notice
it straight away,

and it was somebody stood
at the top of the stairs

and as soon as I looked up
and moved the camera up,

whoever or whatever
that might have been decided

to move off.

My initial reaction was,
who's that?

Not, what is that?
It was, who is that?

I thought, "It's a person."

I'm going up.

Hello?

Then he went that way,

and there's no way
he can go.

Matt and Andy
are freaked out.

I did feel scared.

I felt on edge
when I got to the doorway

and I looked
up and down the corridor

and there was nobody there.

There is, undeniably, a figure
at the top of the stairs.

It's unquestionable,
it's not even a suggestion.

It's not even like if I squint
my eyes and look to the right,

I sort of see it
after the edge, no.

And it clearly
walks off in one direction.

And when they get up there,
it is clear

that that is not a direction

that any corporeal creature
or person could have gone.

There's a solid wall there.

This is really
compelling footage.

Yeah, you can see,
it goes up again.

Hey, wait.

Hello?

Whatever this figure is,

could it somehow be related

to that voice they heard
in the laundry room?

I've received a lot
of reports of spirits

mimicking not only the living,

but other people.

Little girls, animals,
you name it.

They basically seem to try
to trick you into anything.

So, the bottom line here

is that this could be
the shadow person

using a little girl voice

to simply lower the guard
of these two gentlemen.

That's much more scary
than anything else,

in my opinion.

Luckily, Matt and Andy

walk away
that night unharmed.

But what they captured

will forever be imprinted
on their memories.

I think the whole event
in general

made me believe more
in the soul spirit world

as something
that I don't think

I'll ever experience again
to that extent.

a man's renovation's...

This is a really
big old building.

So that's got me
a little bit freaked out.

...stir up
a spirit in Australia.

Renovating an old building

is an arduous

but ultimately
rewarding task.

However, be careful,

because there's
always a chance

that while you're
tearing down walls,

you're stirring up
something else,

namely, ghosts.

Which seemed to be
the case in Australia

when a man
converting an old warehouse

into a business

- captured this terrifying
apparition in a stairwell. - I think I'm done.

August 2020,
in Redcliffe, Australia.

For about a year and a half,

Mason Kratz
has been renovating

the second floor
of a 1940s warehouse

into a business
called Arts and Drafts.

But ever since he started
working on the place,

he's noticed some oddities.

I've been working
in the studio

and the last couple of nights,

I've been hearing
really creepy sounds.

I've been hearing
footsteps and...

And...

And like, seeing things
out of the corner of my eye.

My name is Mason
and this is my video.

The first things I noticed,

I actually assumed
were possums

or critters of some sort.

I... the last thing on my mind
was ghosts.

But I would notice something
jumping from joist to joist

above my head.

And I always felt
like there was something

watching me from above.

And so I'd turn
and I'd catch it

just in time
to see a shadow or something.

And so, of course,
the first thing I did

was I got the place
pest proofed, you know?

But, after that,
it didn't change.

Surprisingly,
working with a shadowy figure

lurking about
doesn't bother Mason

until late one night,

when he is in the men's room,

and whatever this thing is
crosses the line.

I'm standing in the stall
and, I swear,

someone grabbed
the back of my shoulder

while I was standing there.

Just like the person
would come up

and put their arm around you.

It was, it was
a very eerie feeling

and it was very real.

And I freaked out.

And I'm not one
that scares very easily.

So, for that to have...

a physical thing
like that happen

was really what put me
over the edge.

Later that same night,

Mason hears a noise
in the women's restroom

and goes to check it out.

Hello?

Hello.

Then, suddenly...

There was a slam
above my head.

I got the feeling
that I'd angered it, somehow,

and so then I was like,
well, "That's, that's enough.

It's time to go."

Now, watch closely
as Mason walks down the hall.

I think I'm done.

I think I've had
about enough for today.

Did you catch that?

Watch again
at what appears to be

a large face
peeking at Mason

from the stairwell.

Mason only notices
the face later,

when he reviews
the footage at home,

and he is sure
that what he sees

is no living thing.

If, if it was a person
standing on the stairs,

that person
would have been 15 feet tall.

There's no support there
or anything to stand on.

And where the face was
is about 15 feet in the air.

All right.
I think I'm...

I think I'm done.

I think I've had
about enough for today.

It's only
a very quick glimpse

that we get of this image.

But, when you
slow down and isolate it,

I don't think
there's any denying

that it definitely appears
to be a very large human face.

That might be
one of the shadow figures

that he had seen previously.

Shadow figures are known
to lurk in the background,

just out of view enough
to make them not noticeable,

but enough that if you
were really looking,

you could find them.

So,
could Mason's renovations

have triggered this haunting?

This is a really
big old building

and so that's got me
a little bit freaked out.

Sometimes,
paranormal activity

can increase when you
are renovating a location.

The reason why that happens

is because you could be
confusing the spirits.

They've been in this place
for so long

and now, all of a sudden,
it looks different.

That, or you could also
be making them upset.

Maybe they're not happy
with the fact

that you are making changes
to their home.

I don't feel
he's an aggressive spirit,

I feel like he was there

long before we were there.

You know, I kind of feel
like it's his place

to do with as he wishes.

And it's a good thing

Mason feels that way

because he still sees him
on a regular basis

as the renovations carry on.

I saw him again last night,
as I was standing,

he came bouncing across
the truss right over my head.

It's almost become
a regular thing now.

Until he does
something scary again,

I'm just going to let him
do as he does.

I think I'm done.

a UFO that can only be seen
through a piece of glass.

When you
look up into the sky

at any given moment,

the chances that you'll spot
an actual UFO

are close to none.

Because seeing one
is an incredibly rare event

that most people
never get to experience.

But what if we told you

that the sky
is filled with UFOs

and the only reason
we can't see them

is because we're not looking
at them in the right way

or through the right lens?

Recently, one man in Russia
had an experience like this

when he discovered
that a small piece of glass

angled in just the right way

was the key
to a whole new reality.

August 2020, Russia.

A man is walking
around his neighborhood,

experimenting
with his phone's camera.

At one point, he decides
to use a small piece of glass

in front of the lens
to deflect some light.

And when he does,

he sees something
that blows his mind.

Watch closely.

Watch again.

As the glass passes
in front of the lens,

it reveals
a giant hovering craft

in the sky above.

He moves a bit closer
and, again,

places the glass
over the lens.

He continues to use the glass

to track the massive object
from different angles...

until he is almost
directly underneath it.

Then, as he moved
to yet another location,

the craft suddenly...

takes off.

So, what on earth
did we just see?

Oh, my God.

This is awesome and weird.

I would expect this
to be a trick, to be a hoax,

to be something
that's been CGI,

but it's too real.

Looking the way
that the object in the sky

changes size
as the person filming it

changes position
in relation to it.

This is one of the most
unbelievable clips

I've ever seen.

At one point,
he seems to be

almost directly beneath it

and we get to see details
of the craft itself.

And it seems to have
these ports beneath it

as if that's
where landing gear would come down,

or that's
where the propulsion

for the craft itself
comes out of.

We see such great detail

that it's clearly the most
detailed UFO flying saucer

perhaps we've ever seen.

But, the big question,

why would a simple
piece of glass

enable this man
to suddenly see something

that is invisible
to the naked eye?

Now,
at first glance,

you may think, "well,
this seems pretty silly,

it's just a piece of glass,"

but there's all kinds of
equipment that we use to see

worlds that we can't
with our naked eye:

thermal imaging, I.R. lights.

There's all sorts
of different ways

that we can view

the invisible world
around us.

And maybe this glass

has the ability
to do just that.

Maybe so,
but is it also possible

that there's a more
earthbound explanation

for what we're seeing?

After all, this is Russia.

There's
a long-standing tradition

that Russia's scientists,

that Russia's
aerospace engineers,

that Russia's military,

are really giving us
a run for our money,

so they're are the ones

coming up
with new technology.

What is this?
Is it a cloaking device?

Is it an invisibility device?
What's happening here?

Whether
from this world or another,

it's clear
that the technology involved

is unlike anything
we've ever seen.

that's said to be harboring
the spirit of a little girl.

Many report hearing her cry
among the tombstones

while some have seen

that the local police
have been called

to investigate
on several occasions,

but, each time
they go to check it out,

they come up empty handed.

of investigators went there

hoping to finally capture

proof
of the ghost's existence.

of paranormal investigators

are at the Municipal
Cemetery number three,

trying to gather proof
of a rumored ghost girl.

They are equipped with
several ghost hunting tools,

including an EMF meter

that detects the presence
of electromagnetic fields.

If a spirit comes
close to the device,

it will go off,

and almost immediately
it does.

...and I live in Guadalajara,
Jalisco, Mexico.

The team moves
deep into the cemetery...

...when, suddenly,
they hear something

that stops them dead
in their tracks.

Then, as Alberto and his team
walk toward the crime...

as a child-sized ghost

makes a terrifying sound
and can be seen running away.

The scream
just went right through me.

It sounds like something evil.

It was terrifying to hear.

This entity, whatever it is,

seems to be very anguished,

that this plaintive sound
that it's making.

It doesn't seem pleased
with them being there

and is very eager
to get out of the light

and the camera's eye.

The team
is understandably shaken,

but Alberto is determined

not to let
this rare opportunity

slip through his fingers.

The team then runs
into a homeless man,

who lives
in one of the mausoleums,

and he's not only seen
the little girl's ghost...

but he claims to know
where her body is buried.

It's always compelling

when a local legend
is confirmed

not just
by paranormal enthusiasts

or investigators,

but by the community at large.

Many people have seen her,

people who are here to help,

people who are here
by accident.

All that consensus
can't be wrong.

Alberto and his team

don't encounter
the spirit again that night,

but are now convinced
that a girl's ghost

is indeed
haunting the graveyard.

And even though it was
a chilling experience,

to Alberto,
it was well worth it.

of a killer whale.

It's been sighted
in Lake Shuswap

as far back as 1904
and several times since.

But no one has been able
to capture video of it...

Brodie spots something
in the distance.

look at that, it's causing
big waves over there.

...as something
seemingly huge

disturbs the surface
of the lake.

Where did that come from?

Brodie
takes an immediate stab

at what it could be.

What the heck is that?

Now it's gone.

and this is my video.

What was that?

I heard something
come to the surface

and my friend Brodie
pointed to it

and he said,
"Oh, that's the Shuswaggi."

And I said,
"Oh, what is that?"

- That's a Shuswaggi.
- What the hell was that?

I thought he was
just calling me another name,

as he usually does
when we're fishing.

Brodie tells Les
that the Shuswaggi

is a legendary monster
rumored to live in this lake.

Oh, well.
So I got a good video of it.

My name is Brodie
and I spotted the Shuswaggi

while fishing with Les.

- It's in the water.
- Yeah.

What the heck is that?

It was reaching the water

and it was creating a bit
of a wave and would disappear

and would come back.

Right there.

Right there.

What's causing that?

Shuswaggi.

What the heck is that?

- It's real.
- Yeah.

What the hell is that?

A Shuswaggi.
I'm telling you.

I'm trying my best
to zoom in on it.

Right there.

When it came
to the surface,

you get to actually see
the humps on it.

What in the hell?

And then the waves
it was causing,

they were probably
60, 70 feet long.

That was the weirdest
bloody thing I've ever seen.

Oh, yeah, look at that.

It's right over there,
causing that wave.

Whatever it is, it's huge.

During that time,
I was a little nervous.

I was wanting
to keep eyes on it.

Meantime, I was trying
to bring in a fish

and I didn't want
to lose the fish,

but I didn't want
to lose sight of that.

It's coming towards us.

I think you
might have to put it on.

You think
you're safe in a lake

from sharks
and things like that,

But now you have a situation
where something like this

is swimming
next to their boat,

big enough
to grab their attention.

That's not something
I want to deal with

when I'm out there fishing.

I want to have
some peace and quiet,

and I don't want to be dealing
with a sea serpent.

Whatever this thing is,

it makes its way
toward Brodie and Les,

and swims near them
for about 30 minutes.

Then, it vanishes
out of sight.

In the end,
it was just at the shore

and it was like the water
was boiling

or just bubbling and bubbling,

and then, all of the sudden,
gone. Just disappeared.

That is the weirdest,
freaking, bizarre thing

I've ever seen.

Brodie and Les
tried to figure out

what it could have been
if not a lake monster.

We thought
of a couple of scenarios,

we thought maybe

it had popped up
from the bottom.

We thought maybe
a huge fish jumped.

But you can see the video,
you can see the humps,

and it was
30, 40, 50 feet long.

There's no fish that long.

What the heck is that?

- It's real.
- What the hell is that?

And Les and Brodie

aren't the only ones
who've spotted it.

Two months later,

Donna Fresen was out
jogging around Shuswap Lake

when she witnessed
the same exact thing.

There is something big there.

What is that?

The fact that we have
two separate sets of locals,

each filming this
and each saying, "Holy cow,

I have never seen
this before,"

There's something
really big there.

Oh, yeah. It's causing
that big wave over there.

And when we combine that
with the known legend

of the Shuswaggi

being a creature
that lives in this lake,

it really
is compelling evidence.

Whatever has been
swimming around Shuswap lake

remains to be seen.

So I got
a good video of it.

But one thing's for sure,

these two fishermen
will never forget

the biggest catch
of their lives.

It was quite the experience
that was very, very lucky

to have this thing
on the camera.

Kind of freaky.

I'm excited we found it
and we want to go

and find it again
and get more videos.

We can't wait
for spring to come,

because we'll go
to the same spot to look.

What the hell is that?

a haunted house in Russia...

...lives up
to its reputation.

There's
a house in Russia

that's said to be
extremely haunted.

It's called
"The House near the Road."

According to reports,

a man was driving
through a village

when he accidentally hit
a little girl with his car.

But when he jumped out
to help her,

she was nowhere to be found.

Then, he looked
at a nearby house

and saw a girl standing
in front of a window.

So he ran over
and went inside,

but there was no one there.

Suddenly,
a mug flew out of nowhere

and hit him in the head,

sending him bolting out
of the house in a panic.

Recently,
a paranormal investigator

went to the house

to see if there was
any truth to the story,

and it quickly became clear
that there was.

August 2020,
in Znamenka, Russia,

Timur Morozov
has just arrived

at the House near the Road
to conduct an investigation.

There is no electricity.

He is all alone
and in complete darkness.

As Timur sets up
multiple infrared cameras

in several of the rooms,

he already has a sense
of an otherworldly presence.

My name is Timur
and this is my video.

Timur
begins his investigation

by trying to communicate
with whatever it is

that seems to be
watching him.

And it doesn't take long
to get an answer.

He checks the wall,

the screw that's on the wall
is firmly in place.

So, for that shelf
to have moved like that,

it couldn't have just been
simple gravity.

Something would have had
to have lifted it up, off

and released it to the floor.

Timur's freaked out,

but eager to keep
the communication going.

Those sounds are
coming from the dining room,

so Timur immediately,

checks the footage
from the static camera there

to see what's going on.

Keep your eyes

on the silverware
on the table.

It's not just
one piece of silverware

that launches itself off
of this table.

It's a repeated action,

as if something
is trying to communicate

with this guy or scare him.

It seems to have more

of an intelligent
determination to it.

Then,
Timur hears some tapping,

This time, from below.

Timur pulls up a floorboard

revealing the crawl space
beneath the house.

He's terrified,
but determined to confront

whatever is
in or under this house.

Listen again,

as something
seems to hiss

right next to Timur
as he's filming.

That was
a big no thank you from me.

You hope when you go

into an investigation
like this

that you're just dealing
with some dead people.

You know, you hope
that you're just dealing

with some energy,

and then you go
under the house

and something growls at you.

It just makes it a whole
different kind of party,

you know?

And this party
was about to get even worse.

Watch the knife
on the mattress.

Watch again

as the knife is somehow

thrown directly
at Timur's head.

And that's enough
to chase him out of the house

for the night.

This is
a very intentional

and intellectual move
on its part.

There is
an intelligence there

that is even beyond sending
a message to get out.

It seems to want to do
him bodily injury.

Timur agrees.

And though his investigation
lasted less than an hour,

he gathered
more than enough evidence

to make a solid assessment.

Never stop recording,
even when you're scared.

Keep your eyes
on the skies.

Trust that what you're seeing
really is otherworldly.
