Bunch of fighter jets.

Several fighter jets

are flying past Daniel Robb's
apartment complex.

It's a rare sight
where he lives...

...so he grabs his phone
and starts recording.

Another one.

You don't see many
fighter jets over here.

For about 30 minutes
the jets fly back and forth,

then they leave the area.

Daniel thinks nothing of it.

But later that night...

...during a bizarre
lightning storm,

he's startled by a shrieking
sound coming from the sky.

So there's this weird
sound off in the distance,

and I'm trying to
figure out what it is.

What is that?

It's coming from up in the sky
in that direction.

And it's so loud.
It sounds like screaming.

I thought at first
that maybe there was a woman

that was in danger

because it kind of sounded
like a woman screaming.

What is that?

I never heard
anything like it before.

What the is that?
That sounds so scary.

It sounds like somebody's
opening up the gates of Hell

and it's resting
on some very rusty hinges.

That is so freaky!

For about an hour

the high-pitched
harrowing sounds continue.

Like, it's
literally like --

like a demon
screaming in the air.

Then, suddenly Daniel spots
something inside the storm.

See that thing in the sky?
What is that?

Did you see it?

Watch closely.

It's a dark menacing object
hanging in the sky

and it's only visible
when lightning strikes.

It's coming from up in the sky
in that direction.

When I first saw the black thing
in the sky,

it kind of blew me away.

It raised the hair
on the back of my neck.

It was very eerie.

From my estimation,
it was in the same area

as the jets were flying
earlier that morning.

It was in the exact same spot

at the exact same height
in the sky.

Right there -- There's
something dark in the sky.

I don't know what this is,
but it's terrifying.

This looks like
an apocalyptic scene.

It looks like the end
of the world.

That is so scary.
I get goose bumps.

Alright, I'm going
back inside.

And Daniel's neighbors
were just as concerned.

Can you hear that?

I know. It's been going on
for like half an hour.

Hoping to find some answers,

Daniel calls
his local news station.

And I asked them, "Have
you heard anything about this?"

And they said, "No,
we haven't got any calls."

And I was like, "Wow.

Because this is something
that's filling the entire Sky.

I'm really surprised
no one's reported this."

As it turns out,

the noise had been reported...

plenty.

10 minutes later,

the local news department
went on air.

And in Bryan tonight --"Hey, Bryan, Texas,

if you heard that sound
in sky tonight, it was...

...a steam pipe releasing steam
at the college."

They actually said
that it was just a valve

that was loose on a boiler
in one of the buildings

that was releasing steam
under high pressure.

But Daniel wasn't
convinced.

The next morning,
I went to the building

and the steam
was still being released.

You could still see the steam,
the steam coming out.

There was no sound.

I believe that they did
a cover-up of it.

Even if it were a
steam valve making the noise,

what was that black object
in the sky?

And did the fighter jets
flying by earlier

have anything to do with it?

The Jets were sort of
flying in that vicinity

of where this was all going on.

It's like, were
they deployed there

on some sort of a recon mission?

You don't see many
fighter jets over here.

I didn't sleep for about
5 days after that.

I had a lot of people flooding
my inbox asking me questions

and so I was up for a while

responding to every message
I could

It was something
that really stuck with me.

And Daniel has been
looking for an explanation

ever since.

I've had people tell me
that maybe it was something

coming from another dimension
or from outer space.

I mean, I don't know
what it was.

Maybe one day
he will find the answers.

went to one of these abandoned
churches to see for himself.

abandoned buildings.

His friend recently told him
about an old church

that he thought Brian would be
interested in photographing,

so he's on his way
to check it out...

But before Brian
even enters the church,

he hears a disturbing
sound coming from within.

Freaked out but determined to get some good shots,

Brian enters
through a broken window

and starts looking around
for the source of the noise.

I searched virtually
every room in building...

This is iconography

that's employed
by the Church of Satan.

So this definitely
seems to be more

than your
run-of-the-mill teenage kid

with a spray can that paints
a pentagram on a wall.

Whoever left these here

actually has some knowledge
of Satanic rituals.

And for good reason
because just seconds later...

That chair just moved.

When I saw that chair,
I was terrified.

Then the wood went
and I was out running.

unharmed.

But what was it
that chased him out?

And how did it get there
in the first place?

In this case, it seems like whatever ritual that they did

definitely invited some sort of
energy in,

but that energy didn't seem
to go with the practitioners

out into the world.

It stuck around
inside this church.

Whatever was trapped
inside the church

and whether it was evoked

by the ritual Brian stumbled
upon or not,

it shook him to his core.

have installed
a trail cam in their backyard

to spy on a fox that's been
digging under their house.

One day, Ty checks the photos
from the camera...

...and spots an image

of what looks like
their golden retriever

named Koda on the porch.

But Ty is baffled because
Koda died seven years ago.

Look closely
at what appears to be

an apparition of a dog
on the left,

and Cathy in the center

bending over to pour cat food
into a bowl.

I think what's cool about this

is that it's really obviously
a golden retriever.

It's not an ambiguous shadow

that could be shaped like a dog
if I squint my eyes.

It's not, "Well, it's a dog
but it's not the right breed,"

or whatever.

It looks like a
golden retriever,

just standing there looking
at the house

like any pet would
as it wants to come in.

The interesting thing
about the picture

is we clearly see
the woman of the house

bending down to pick up
something off the deck,

but had there been an actual dog
or even a fox

at the time when she was
out there,

she clearly would have
seen it.

She's only a couple feet away.

And we can kind of see
right through the dog,

so that's no living dog.

Even though it was
only a brief glimpse of Koda,

the Jacobs find comfort

in seeing her spirit
on their back porch.

There's nothing
stronger or purer

than the bond between a pet
and a pet owner.

That is an unconditional love

and it's also an
unadulterated spirit.

The spirit of a dog --

I mean, all dogs go to Heaven.
We all know this.

The spirit of a dog is
untainted.

It is pure, and that is the
strongest kind of energy.

And for you
cat lovers,

a similar incident
happened across the pond

three months later.

July 2020, Essex, England --

Roommates Juliette Bird
and Dee Crawte

are getting ready for bed

when their outdoor motion sensor
camera sends them an alert.

My name's Juliette.And my name's Dee.

And this is all video.

I'm was up in bed and the
camera alarm was going off.

So I went onto the app
and had a look

and there was nothing there.
So then I was like,

"Alright, if I press record,
record something,

and see if anything appears up
when I watch it back."

And I did it and it
just so happened

that the cat was walking past
as I pressed record.

And then when I watched it back
was when I noticed

that obviously
I can see the white cap,

but then there was this shadow
following behind.

The white cat, which is actually
next door neighbor's cat,

Topsy.

You can see Topsy
walking past

and then suddenly
within, like, a second,

out of nowhere,
what looks like another cat.

But as it goes past,
it just disappears.

It was see-through,

which you could still see
the cars behind it

and the white cat,
you couldn't.

So that's how we thought
it was strange.

And watch again
closely in slow motion

as a split-second before,

an orb seems to come down
and land

right where the
ghost cat appears.

I walked downstairs after
and I had a look outside

and Topsy was sitting outside
right by the cars,

but there was no other cats
in the area.

This one was
really impressive

as far as video evidence
of an apparition.

I saw a cat walking from
in front of a car

and then something that looks
like an orb almost shoot down

from above, hit the ground,

and bam,
turn into a spectral cat.

When I saw the beam of light
kind of shoot the cat

into frame,

I couldn't help
but question if this

was a glimpse into a multiverse.

If this was some copy of the cat

that we're seeing
in some different dimension

almost the exact same,
just so slightly different.

My first thought was,

"Is this sort of just an after
image burned into the film?

Is it sort of just like
a repetitive shadow

of the actual live cat?"

But when you look closely at it,

that doesn't seem
to be the case.

The image of the second cat

does not seem to be a pure white
cat like the first one.

There seems to be markings
behind its left ear.

It seems to be slightly darker
in its fur,

but it's transparent.
There's no doubt about it.

It's certainly doesn't look like
a flesh-and-blood cat.

I'm a firm believer that

human beings are not the
only things that haunt spaces,

that animals
can do the same, as well.

And it's very likely
that a cat's energy

can still linger around.

Juliette and Dee are fascinated by their ghost cat capture

and they are hoping to get even
more evidence of the afterlife.

I'm skeptic and I believe.
Does that make sense?

I need to see before I believe,
and this has sort of like

given me a little bit of maybe
there is something out there.

I don't know.

Generally, they have an engine
to produce thrust,

the laws of physics,

these are the elements required
to keep an airplane flying.

So when in Ohio couple saw an
object hurtling through the sky

that seem to have none
of those things...

What is that?
It's not making any noise.

I don't see wings on it.

...it was clear to them that what they were seeing...

...was not of this Earth.

It's early evening,

are walking their dogs

when they suddenly
spot something in the sky...

...a shiny, cylinder-shaped
object moving at a rapid pace.

What is that?
Is it like a glider something?

I'm not exactly sure
what it is.

It's not making
any noise.

a cigar shape.

wings on it.

It was a beautiful summer night.
I just happened to look up.

I was looking at the sky,
and I saw it.

And in my mind, I'm trying
to figure out what is this?

Is it a plane?
Is it a drone?

And we've seen planes
and drones before,

but this didn't look

like anything
that we had seen before.

And it didn't make
any sound whatsoever.

It looked like a white Tic Tac
shape gliding in the sky.

Then, just 15 seconds after
the object goes out of sight,

Krista and Dan spot something
they do recognize,

and the difference
is clear.

No, it's not shining
anything like it was.

Now they are starting to get
a little nervous.

Well soon as
I figured out

that I didn't know
what it was,

I really wanted to get the dogs
and get back home

because I thought,
should we be worried?

You know,
what is this thing?

I just wanted to know
what it was.

Then Dan and Krista
think of something else

that makes the sighting
even more alarming.

We're not very far from
the Shippingport nuclear plant

in Shippingport,
Pennsylvania.

So, I know they always say
that UFOs

go around nuclear plants
and nuclear sites.

We thought maybe that's
what -- you know,

it was in this area
because of that.

So what exactly was this object
in the sky?

This is a pretty
intriguing video.

What it looks like to me
is the fuselage of an airplane

without the wings or a tail.

And we all know that something
that shape simply can't fly.

Now, ironically enough
over the past 100 years or so,

we've received hundreds
if not thousands of reports

of UFO witnesses
describing craft

that looks exactly like this.

They describe it
as a cigar-like object.

Now, if you look at this video,

that's almost exactly
what it looks like

we're looking at here.

I don't see wings
on it.

And what about
the nearby nuclear power plant?

Could that really have been
its destination?

Anyone that's researched UFOs

know that there's
some sort of connection

between UFOs
and nuclear power,

or more specifically,
nuclear warheads.

Past couple of decades,
we've had a few instances

where UFOs have seemingly
shutdown launches

by our U.S. military.

Terrifying.

And though
we may never know why,

or even if that's where
it was headed,

Krista and Dan
are sure of one thing --

whatever they saw
was extraterrestrial.

There's no doubt in my mind that there's other things out there.

Absolutely. You know, I think
we'd be arrogant to think

that were the only creatures
in this whole universe.

I'm definitely looking up
to the sky a lot more.

Just even in my normal
day-to-day activities,

I catch myself just looking up
just to see what's up there.

we can bring them in.

the reportedly haunted campus

of Crow Creek Reservation
High School.

It started out
as a boarding school

for Native American kids.

In 1971, it was converted
into a high school,

but was eventually shut down
due to what some believed

were the building's
unsafe conditions.

Since then, locals have reported
hearing strange sounds

and seeing mysterious figures
in and around the building.

Tonight,
C.J. and his friends are here

hoping to find some
sort of paranormal activity

for themselves.

and this is my video.

I felt real nervous
when I walked in there,

only because, like,
I didn't know

what we were gonna find
in there,

and I didn't know
what we were gonna see.

Those are dead birds?

Dude, this is...crazy.

There was actually, like,
Satanist writing on the walls

in a lot of the rooms,

and that kind of drew
a lot of red flags

for all three of us
'cause we're like, you know,

why are people right
in the stuff in here, you know?

in this room.

They are now deep
inside the abandoned building...

out here alone, you know.

Then, C.J. spots something that stops him dead in his tracks.

at this building --

As C.J. points his flashlight
toward the 3rd story window,

he spots a dark shadow figure
peering back at him.

I wasn't expecting to see
anything that night, you know,

but as I get closer
to the school,

and I point my flashlight up,

I see something, like,
in the windowsill,

and it's staring at me.

And, like,
I didn't know what that was,

so I freaked out,

and that's when
I dropped the flashlight,

just out of,
like, pure fear reaction.

And I pick it up,

and I pan back up with my camera
and with the flashlight,

and it's not there no more,
and I'm just like,

whoa, you know,
like, what did I just see?

And then, not even probably
2 seconds after that,

you see that thing walk across,

and, like, it was just
the craziest thing ever.

That's the money shot.

There is this obvious,
clear shadow figure

moving across the windows
on one of the upper stories.

This looks like
the classic definition

of what a shadow figure is,

being that it's completely
black, feature-less,

sort of in the form
of a person moving around

and sort of peering out
from behind a door or window.

Whatever
this shadowy thing was,

it definitely
seems to be aware

of the presence
of this videographer.

I mean, just look
at this building --

Whether it was
aware of him or not,

the shadow figure sent
C.J. running back home again.

and then I got home,

and I couldn't stop watching it.

I would replay it,
replay it, replay it.

I've seen a ghost before,

but I've never seen a ghost
in that type of form before.

That's why it was, like,
so scary to me

because I've never seen anything
like that in my life.

And although the shadow figure encounter was terrifying,

it also peaked C.J.'s curiosity.

It put a whole new perspective

of, like, you know,
what else can be out there?

So, it actually made me
more interested

than anything, even though,
like, it scared me to death.

a man who shares
his house with a ghost.

When looking
for a house to buy or rent,

many people rely on the vibe
they get from the property

to help them
make their decision.

If the house seems
to speak to you in some way,

that can often
clinch the deal,

which is what compelled
one man in South Carolina

to purchase his new home.

But he later discovered

that it wasn't the house
that was speaking to him...

...it was the spirit
that lived inside it.

2014 in West Columbia,
South Carolina.

Mark Podmore and his husband
were looking at houses to buy

when Mark found himself
inexplicably lured

by one home in particular.

My name is Mark Podmore,
and these are my videos.

When we first
looked at the house,

it was almost
an unnatural attraction

I had to the house.

It was a feeling
of "I'm home,"

almost like my mother
were here greeting me.

They purchased
the home and moved in.

Not long after,
strange things began to happen.

We'd seen flashes of light
out of the corners of our eyes.

We'd seen
shadow figures.

Neighbors have seen people
standing in the windows.

Those neighbors told Mark

they believed
the house was haunted

by a previous owner
named Sylvia who died there.

It didn't bother me a bit.

I don't know why.
I've never felt that way before,

but it wasn't
a scary feeling.

It was just a feeling
of...warmth.

Then, in 2016,

after Mark had a motion detector
security camera

installed in the living room,

his suspicions
that the house was haunted

were finally confirmed.

I was at work,
and I got an alert

that the security camera
had picked up some some motion.

So I pulled it up
on my phone.

I saw a shadow

and then a little,
like, a flash of light.

And there's my dog
looking over at it.

And then, looked like
the afghan started to,

like, try and pick up,

and then the rocking chair
started rocking.

Watch as the rocking chair seems to gain momentum.

And then, the afghan
is suddenly almost lifted

off the back
of the chair.

I felt kind of like, well,
I knew it all along,

and now I have proof.

It definitely looks too steady and too much force there

to be just a passing draft
or a fan or something coming on.

That chair is really rocking
at a good pace for a while.

It seemed like this spirit was intentionally trying

to get the attention of the dog
or just attention in general

and the dog happens to be
the closest thing to it.

Dogs are able to sense
when there is a spirit presence

because they have
heightened abilities.

The fact that this dog

didn't seem too upset
by this chair moving

makes me feel like
it could sense

that whatever was there
was friendly and benevolent

and wasn't going to harm them.

And there was more.

In 2020,
Mark's home security camera

captured another
startling event.

Watch as the living room
light fixture

swings back and forth
on its own.

We had some friends give us that wagon-wheel light fixture,

and the lady that used
to clean the house

stopped by
with her daughter one day.

She saw me out in the yard,
and she came in, and she said,

"Oh, I see you got
Miss Sylvia's light fixture.

It's exactly like the light
fixture that was here before."

McNEILL:
I think that the story behind it is the most interesting part.

The previous owner of the home,
who is now deceased,

liked that kind of style,
had a really similar lamp.

I feel like
it's pretty clear.

Like, Miss Sylvia
likes the lamp.

She's given it
a thumbs up.

Spirits have
a really interesting

and subtle way of interfering
with our lives,

and it definitely feels
like Sylvia

is pretty involved
in his life.

And I'm wondering if she somehow
influenced the gift giver

to give this particular
light fixture to him

because she likes it so much
and wants it in her house.

If in fact Sylvia
is interfering with Mark's life,

he's totally fine with it.

There are certain times when I'll be in the kitchen cooking,

I'll have the burner on,

and something is just about
ready to be scorched,

I imagine,
and I'll turn back around,

I'll hear a click,

and the burner
is turned off.

I mean, it's like
she's looking out for us.

I talk to her all the time.
I thank her for things.

It's like a relationship
you have with somebody

who was like an angel,
I guess.

Somebody who's constantly
around you.

It's a good feeling.
It's not a bad feeling.

And Mark has no plans
of ever leaving Sylvia

or her haunted house.

This is our forever home.
I don't see us leaving at all.
