The way I saw her spirit

is I'm trying
to tell my daddy

about these crazy
country boys

who left a deer
in front of my house.

Look, she's moving.

She's trying to get up.

All of a sudden, she falls.

a deer's soul leaves its body.

I just couldn't believe it.
I was like, "God is real!"

It really changed
my outlook on life

and the way
I think about stuff.

This video, I found really sort
of distressing and inspiring.

The deer's trying to get up,
it's struggling,

and then it lays back down
and expires.

And in that moment
that the deer dies,

this ethereal form
rises up out of it

and moves off to the side
and out of screen.

Which is really incredible.

It's hard to not understand that
as anything other

than this animal soul
or this animal's essence

leaving its body
in its final moment.

As part of my research
into the paranormal,

I look at countless
ghost videos and images,

and one of the things that
really sticks out to me often

are videos and pictures
of car accidents...

...that seem to show an entity
or a spirit or soul

or something
leaving the crash site.

Now, this kind of thing seems
to happen not all the time,

but more often
than you would think,

and perhaps that's something
like what we're seeing here.

Far too often, we think about
ghosts as connected to humans.

However, there are
countless belief systems

that animals
likewise have souls.

And if that is the case,

perhaps they can continue
to walk this Earth

in spectral form.

Although it was
an unfortunate way

to have a paranormal experience,

Chelsey feels fortunate for how
it has affected her life.

so I think that was
God's little way of saying,

"You're right
where you need to be."

that not only do we go on,

anonymous hears noises

and what sounds like voices
coming from his basement.

Nothing?

Everything seems to be
in order,

just as he left it.

Is anyone there?

Until...

Whoa!

Watch closely as a portable
closet rolls forward on its own.

Who, or what,
is in this basement?

Whenever you see an object move
without an observable force,

one of the quick phenomenons to
blame is poltergeist activity.

Now, it's done so because
one of the main things

they're thought to do
is move objects, make noise,

that kind of thing,
just be disruptive in nature.

So it's quite possible that
this gentleman could be dealing

with that sort of entity.

The man is a mess,

but somehow manages
to get to sleep.

But then, 24 hours later
and still freaked out,

he hears more noises
in the basement.

The last thing he wants to do
is go down there again,

so he stays at the top
of the stairs this time.

I heard some noises again!

W-Whoa!

Did you catch that?

First, listen closely
as someone

or something
seems to whisper to him.

Then, watch carefully
in slow motion

as a menacing dark figure
saunters

past the basement doorway

and makes him nearly
jump out of his skin.

W-Whoa!

The evidence
is clear --

something is down there,

and he wants no part of it.

Hello?

At the very bottom
of the basement stairs,

you see this really,
really dark figure.

You know, like, the basement
doesn't have the lights on,

and yet
we're still able to see

this figure
in the darkness.

Shadow people, they're thought
to be just blacker than black,

just void of all light.

And so that might be what we're
seeing here in the basement.

Why are those voices
calling to him?

Do they want to communicate?

Or are they luring him
down there

just to mess with him?

I struggle
with shadow figures

because every time
I've heard of an instance

of somebody seeing
shadow figures,

it's never followed up by,

"And it was my grandmother!

Yay!"

It's usually
a shape-shifting spirit

that is trying
to scare you... W-Whoa!

...or is trying to show it--
manifest itself in a way

that is comfortable to you
so that you start to trust it.

And when you put that

with the activity...
Whoa!

...that's happening
in the house...

...that's when it gets scary.

W-Whoa!

Luckily
for our hero,

whatever is in the basement

seems to be staying
in the basement,

at least for now.

But why?

Basements are like
a quintessential liminal space,

liminal meaning
"betwixt and between" --

so, a space that isn't
one of the main places

that we do the bulk
of our daily living.

So staircases, hallways,
basements, attics,

even outdoor spaces
like tunnels --

these are all in-between,
liminal places.

And liminality really draws
this opportunity

for the supernatural
or the paranormal to manifest.

W-Whoa!

So, is there anything
that can be done

about this unwanted
basement dweller?

The more that this person
interacts with this energy,

it might leave the basement
and come into the regular

living spaces and bedrooms
and bathrooms of that home.

It depends on the type
of energy that it is.

So you just got to be careful.
You know, you got to understand

what you've got going on
in your home.

And then -- then you got to
figure out how to deal with it.

and closer

A man in Toronto thinks so

after he captured a series
of suspicious activity

on his grandparents'
home security camera

that could not be explained.

December 2019,

Toronto, Canada.

Michael Pillarella

was concerned about
his elderly grandparents,

so he installed
a motion-detector light

in the bathroom
so they could see at night,

and he placed a motion-sensor
camera up in a hallway

so he could monitor them,

just in case
they slipped or fell.

Fortunately, over the next
six months,

there were no slips or falls.

But there was something else.

Orbs.

Lots of them,
floating past the camera.

Always in the middle
of the night,

always going in
the same general direction,

and always triggering
the motion-detecting lights

in the bathroom.

My name is Michael,
and this is my video.

We started getting
notifications

in the middle of the night.

And my mom would actually get
the notifications first,

saying that there's motion
in the house.

And she would take
a look at her phone

and she wouldn't see anybody
moving on camera

or any type of motion.

So she would just discard
the videos

thinking it was
maybe, like, a fly

or anything that might have
triggered the camera,

obviously not
being my grandparents.

So this continued to happen
on and on and on.

And then eventually,
we start

to look a little closer
to the camera,

and that's when we began
seeing these orbs.

And it seemed like the orbs
were triggering the motion.

But what made it even more weird
was the fact

that not only would it trigger
the motion detector,

but it would simultaneously
trigger the hallway light.

These are two devices that are
no way connected to one another.

And when you look closely
at the videos,

you can see that the orb
triggers the recording on camera

and then triggers the light.

So they're definitely weird
and eerie.

When I look
at these orbs, I think,

"Oh, this could
possibly be dust."

But then when you start seeing
these orbs move in a trajectory

that goes into a room
and sets off a motion sensor...

...it's really impossible
for little specks of dust

to set off a motion-sensor
light or camera.

You would need significant
movement and mass

to trigger those things
to turn on.

It just goes to show you that
maybe something you don't see

with the human eye

that is seen
as a speck of light on a camera

has a much bigger aura
and presence to it,

that it gets picked up by
a sensor that triggers a light.

One night, the camera
picks up something

even more bizarre
around 4 a.m.

It's Michael's grandfather

walking toward the front door,

which might seem a bit odd,
but not too concerning.

That is, until Michael
found out the reason why.

My grandfather reported
the next morning to us

that somebody rang the doorbell
at 4 o'clock in the morning.

And people don't typically

ring the doorbells here
at 4 a.m.,

so it was something
very out of the ordinary.

And then on top of it, he said
that there was a man at the door

and the man was asking him
to sign a contract.

Right away, this spooked out
the whole family.

And that's when we thought,

okay, maybe these orbs,
maybe this energy --

maybe there is
something else going on.

So,
if there was, in fact,

someone or something
at the door,

who was it?

And what did they want?

I have heard of reports
of people

that are approaching
the end of their life

or facing some sort
of terminal illness

where they do have
some chance encounter

with a figure that invites them
to the other side.

And that's been documented
in folklore and literature,

whether it's meeting
the Grim Reaper in a rose garden

or encountering
a hitchhiking angel of death.

It's entirely possible
that spirits are showing up

not to haunt the place,
not to cause problems,

but to transition them
to the next phase.

McNEILL: The idea
that the elderly have

a closer connection
to the other side

is a fairly common idea
in traditional belief.

We have the same idea
about children,

who are close to the other side

on the other end
of the lifespan,

that there's a deeper
connection, a greater awareness.

The veil is a little bit thinner
for people

at either end
of the life spectrum.

It makes sense that someone
who's maybe about to be

on the other side themselves
might be more aware of,

more drawn to,
or even conversely,

drawing toward them entities
or energies from the other side.

For now, Michael is
continuing to keep a close eye

on his grandparents

and anything else that might be
paying them a visit.

My grandparents both being 90,
it's -- it's sad,

but being in the final chapter,

the final stages of their life,

I do believe that
that could be creating

some sort of a portal
or a hypersensitivity

to that world, or even a door
that that's inviting.

So I do believe that there is
some form of spiritual energy

and activity
happening in the home.

And I do believe that
my grandparents are the conduits

for the activity, for sure.

Mysterious lights appear
near Stonehenge.

Stonehenge is
an ancient structure in England

that's shrouded in mystery.

For roughly 5,000 years,

these massive stones have stood
in a circular formation.

But to this day,
it's not certain

how or why it was built.

Some believe aliens
helped build it.

A more popular theory
is that it was erected

as some form of solar calendar

and that the stones were
strategically placed in relation

to the position of the sun
during the summer solstice.

Every year, thousands gather
around the site

on the longest day of the year

to watch the sun rise
directly behind the Heel Stone

and into the center
of the monument.

No doubt,
it's a sight to behold.

Gut it doesn't compare to what
one man saw the night before,

just a few miles away.

It's the eve
of the summer solstice

in 2019 in Wiltshire, England.

approximately 15 miles
from Stonehenge.

He's about to take photos
of the sunset when he realizes

there's something
much more stunning in the sky.

It's a group of brightly
illuminated balls

popping in and out of view

in what appears
to be a formation.

The first thing I noticed
is just a ball of light

appearing like a rocket

or a firework

just waiting for exploding,

but it was not the case.

And then a new one appeared
from nowhere,

and then a third, fourth, fifth.

No smoke, no noise,
which was pretty strange, yes.

I'm totally geeking out
over this footage.

This is the kind of phenomenon

where folklore
and the paranormal

and even paranormal
pop culture intersect.

Not only are these lights being
spotted during summer solstice

when the poles of the Earth have
maximum tilt towards the sun,

which also has deep cultural
significance across the globe --

it's also occurring
near Stonehenge.

We have layers of phenomena
occurring here.

McNEILL: Stonehenge is
one of those monuments

that was built to acknowledge
and align

with these
celestial phenomena --

the solstice, the equinoxes,

where we have places
on our planet

that are designed to resonate
with those particular times.

So we have that location,
we have the correct time,

we have these lights
manifesting in the sky --

it seems beyond coincidental.

I really, really was blown away
by this clip.

I feel like this is a phenomenon
all on its own

and it gets kind of
bumped in with UFOs.

There are these intelligent
balls of light

that are working in unison
with each other.

But as these lights diminish,
they diminish into thin air.

There is no craft there.

So, if these lights
are not some sort of craft,

then what are they?

I could not explain,
because it's very strange.

It's a light coming from...

nowhere.

One of the theories
about aliens and UFOs

is that they are
interdimensional travelers.

If we have parallel universes,

they are able
to travel between them,

and that's why sometimes we'll
see them and sometimes we won't.

Philippe is still
searching for the answer

as to what these things were.

But even if he never finds out,

he's just grateful
to have had the opportunity

to share this incredible
footage with the world.

You don't choose
this kind of thing.

It happens, and you just
have to be open.

evolved species

in East Prairie, Missouri.

Jon Parker
and his 11-year-old son Jacob

are hiking through
Big Oak Tree State Park

when they suddenly
stumble upon this.

A massive footprint
in the muddy terrain.

And as far as they're concerned,

there's only one creature
from these parts

that could have made
this track --

Bigfoot.

They take photos of this

and some other prints they find
on different hikes

and post them online,

along with
young Jacob's analysis,

to share with other
Bigfoot enthusiasts.

As you can see,
there's a shoeprint

next to the obvious
Bigfoot-looking print.

You can see it's about the size
of a grown man's print,

and that right there is telling
me that this Bigfoot print

was probably anywhere from
10 to 12 inches, maybe bigger.

and these videos were taken

by me and my son Jake.

His grandmother had told us a
story about when she was little,

about how she had went
in the Mark Twain Forest

and had seen what
she felt like was a Bigfoot.

And so, one day,
we were hiking

and we actually found
a footprint.

It was in the 40s,

so it was a little too cold for
someone to be out barefooted,

and it was
a little big for a human.

So we decided that, you know,

maybe the next time
we go hiking,

we'll just keep looking
and seeing what we can find.

Which is
exactly what they did.

At least once a week,

they went out searching
for clues

and began capturing
an impressive collection

of Bigfoot evidence --

not to mention followers.

of what appears
to be a Sasquatch

walking through the trees...

a Bigfoot shelter

ever since we've seen it

and we went past it on a trail

called the Bottomland Trail
of Big Oak Tree State Park.

And it's the trail that
we get the most activity on

every time we go.

...and even...

the creature itself.

as a tall, hair-covered figure

walks through the trees
in the background.

This is real classic
Bigfoot footage,

Bigfoot walking by,

a side view, blurry footage,

off in the distance
through the trees.

I mean, 100% Bigfoot footage.

There's definitely
something walking around

the woods of Missouri.

Whatever this thing is,
it clearly is far enough

in the distance that it feels
like it can pass by unnoticed.

And it almost does.

At one point,

Jon and Jacob capture
this terrifying audio.

Harrowing, guttural screams
echoing through the forest.

You know, really, to me,

there's really
no natural explanation.

We sit out there
and we listen to that,

and I'd say
from my experience in the woods,

it just doesn't sound
like anything

that I'm accustomed to hearing.

These noises are bone-chilling.

They sound like what the classic
Sasquatch call would.

The sounds that were
captured are phenomenal.

I listen to them over and over
and, you know,

I kind of do my due diligence.

What animal could this be?

Is there an animal that lives
in this region, in Missouri,

that could, in fact,
make these sounds?

And you look at things
like coyotes and feral dogs

and even wild pigs and birds
and stuff like that.

And I really couldn't find
anything that seemed to match up

with what we were
actually hearing.

What I love the most about
what we're seeing in these clips

is just how incredibly eloquent
and intelligent this little boy

is as he talks
about this phenomenon.

I am confident that we do
have Sasquatch down

at Big Oak Tree State Park.
There's no doubt about it.

We've just got too much evidence
down there

that supports our theory.

He obviously knows a lot
about Sasquatch and Bigfoot,

and he knows exactly
what to look for.

You might not see it
at first glance.

If I magnify it,

you can even see it better
and it stands out.

And to know that
you're that close

to a potential Bigfoot or
Sasquatch is absolutely insane.

I think we're looking at
the next generation

of 'Squatcher right here.

His enthusiasm
and his dedication

to looking at it scientifically

and without passion that would
affect what he's seeing

is something that is definitely
important in the field

and I'd like to see more of.

You can certainly tell
that there's something there.

it's a Sasquatch.

When it comes
to UFO encounters,

there are a few things
that generally run true --

The objects are far away.

Their intentions
are usually unclear.

And for the most part,
those who witness them

don't fear they will suffer
any serious harm.

But there is another,
slightly less common element

of these otherworldly visits

that could render all three
of those previous points moot --

cow mutilations.

And one man in Florida

has captured terrifying
video evidence....

It's winter 2020
in Ocala, Florida.

Aaron Linn is with a friend when
he spots a bright, orange light

above the cow pasture
behind his home.

You'd think
Aaron would be thrilled,

but he's not.

He's terrified,

because he saw something
just like this

a year earlier
with his wife, Jodi.

Look at that, Junior!

It's a UFO!
I just saw that come up.

I told you, bro.
Didn't I tell you?

I told you to look
at that UFO.

And what happened then has left
them both shaken to this day.

that harrowing experience.

and we live in Ocala, Florida.

We weren't sure
what the light sources were,

and we heard the cows screaming.

Terrified, pain and agony.

And we were just, like,

really, really curious
what's going on out there.

If you can only imagine
a cow screaming.

Not mooing --

I mean, like screaming,
just hysterical.

It'll make your skin crawl.

And it kind of
spiked our curiosity,

and we started
paying more attention

to what was going on
behind our home.

The next morning,

Aaron and Jodi head out
to their neighbor's cow pasture

to investigate.

Last night, there were
lights everywhere out here.

My tuition had already
been going off,

so I knew something
was happening out there.

And hearing the cows...

Like, I even told the wife.
I said, "Coming out here,

I bet there's something
weird going on."

So when we first get past
the first group of trees,

which is directly
behind my house,

I look down
and I start seeing bones.

All these bones are out here.
This is where we see the lights.

And I was like, "Wow, this is
a lot of bones out here."

Then, up ahead,

a disturbing sight
begins to take shape.

Oh, my gosh.

I see a mass on top of the hill,
right in the direction

where we saw the lights.

I mean, we knew
exactly where to head to

'cause of the lights
from the night before.

- Jodi, that is a cow.
- No!

For some reason,
I just knew, man.

I was like, "There is...
I'm probably gonna find a cow."

Oh, my gosh.

Aaron and Jodi
are shocked

by the grotesque sight

of a mutilated cow.

The animal has apparently
been cut open

and gutted
with incredible precision.

What frightens them even more

is that almost none
of the internal organs remain.

Holy crud.

But wait --
it gets even more bizarre.

There's no blood.

Jodi,
there's no blood.

There is not a single drop
of blood to be found.

Horrific.
Like, if they did that

to that poor thing...

You can hear it in my voice.

I'm like,
"It's...It's been cut!"

Like, I'm like, "What?
It's been cut! Look!"

No, no.
That was cut.

It don't even
really smell.

I can only imagine what
it's like to come upon this.

You're already
in a heightened state

because of what
you've seen in the skies.

So then to encounter this,

it's a natural reaction
to think,

"What's next?"

Just imagine you see
these weird lights in the sky

over your property
and you go out

and you try to track down
where they were coming from,

and what do you find?
This mutilated cow

with all of its organs removed.

Yet somehow there's no blood.

McNEILL: Its eyes
have been removed.

The skin has been
not ripped or torn,

but really cleanly,
almost surgically cut.

And the body cavity
is entirely empty.

It is really, really creepy.

Creepy, but not
as uncommon as you might think.

Since the 1960s, there's been
over 10,000 of these mutilations

recorded around the world,

but nobody really seems to know
why it's happening.

We've seen
cow mutilation cases happen

all over the U.S.

in states like Oregon,
Colorado, Kansas, Florida.

And when these happen,
they'll happen in droves

and then we won't see
a cow mutilation happen again

for another 10 or 15 years.

Honey,
there's no blood.

McNEILL: As far as possible
explanations for this go,

aliens have been a common theory

of what might be happening here.

And in fact, the FBI has
a huge file of information

specifically
on cattle mutilations

from the mid-1970s.

Okay,
so someone or something

has been mutilating cows,

but why assume
it's the work of aliens?

That's been cut.

Last night.

There's usually never
any animal tracks around

that you can point to and say,

"Oh, okay, clearly,
it was from this predator.

But the fact that these cows
are so cleanly mutilated,

I think that's why people are
jumping to the conclusion of,

this has to be the result
of some sort of high technology

because the cuts
are just way too clean.

But if this was
in fact done by aliens,

why are they doing it?

Aaron has his own theory,

and it will make
your blood run cold.

This is where we saw
the lights last night.

- I knew it.
- Oh, dude.

I knew it.

Well, from what my researching,
I've found that

supposedly there are
entities out there

that do adrenal gland harvesting

and andrenochrome harvesting

where they will terrify
and mutilate something,

and keep it alive
while they mutilate it,

to harvest the blood
and the chemical.

So, not only do these entities
live on the chemical,

but they get, supposedly,
high from it, I guess.

The scariest idea
about this is,

if they can do this to cows,

who's to say
they won't do this to us?

Scary indeed.

Though they haven't found
any more mutilated cows,

Aaron and Jodi continue
to see the strange lights

and remain extremely cautious.

My wife, I think, was a little
more freaked out than me.

And I felt...
I still feel to this day

that we could have been
abductees.

That's what I believe.
