I knew straight away,
this is a ghostly apparition.

A large, hairy cryptid

is spotted in the Ohio woods.

Look at the hair.

See all the hair?

There was fear, adrenaline,
excitement --

just pretty much every emotion

you could feel all at one time.

A man in England

reckons
with an aggressive poltergeist.

Chairs falling over,

stuffed animals
flying off shelves,

doors opening,
blankets being pulled.

These are all really, really
classic poltergeist behaviors.

A ghost hunter
fends off spirits

at one of the most haunted dams

in the world.

I hear voices.

It was just the craziest thing
I've ever experienced.

and even more
paranormal footage

you have to see...

Anybody tell me
what that is?

...to believe.

For centuries,
throughout the world,

there is a legend of a reclusive

mysterious monster
that lives among us.

The name of this beast may vary

from location to location,

but the description does not.

large...

hairy...

bipedal...

ape like...

hiding in the woods.

Experts have been trying
to track down this cryptid

who goes by Yeti, Sasquatch,

Bigfoot, or Skunk Ape, for ages.

And recently, one lucky Ohio man

may have stumbled across one

that goes by yet another name,

January 2020

at Salt Fork State Park, Ohio.

Nathan Gray and his friend Eric

get permission from the state

to test out a drone camera

around the park.

They begin by wandering
hiking trails,

using the drone,

as well as handheld cameras

to capture scenic footage

of the winter landscape.

Then out of nowhere,

the drone picks up a noise --

a terrifying noise.

Listen carefully.

Intrigued, Nathan and Eric use
the drone to follow the noise,

when suddenly,

the drone
captures something moving.

Did you see that?

Watch again.

Just beneath these trees,

It's a large black creature,

standing next to a stream.

Nathan and Eric immediately rush

to where
the creature was spotted

and,
using their handheld camera,

attempt to catch
whatever this creature is

up close and personal.

It's large, hairy,

bipedal, and ape like.

Sound familiar?

I'm Nathan Gray,

and I'm the one that
filmed the video.

It's real hard
to describe the feeling.

There's fear, adrenaline,
excitement --

pretty much every emotion

you could feel all at one time.

But in this video,
we get a really great,

uncommonly good capture

of a Bigfoot-,

Sasquatch-like creature.

This is
the clearest footage

I've seen of a cryptid
being captured on camera.

What I loved about this is
seeing the details of the hair

around the shoulders
and the head, you know,

seeing the gradient
between the fur,

how it was black
and brown and silver.

It's sort of
lumbers along

at the pace and the gait

that you would expect

from a creature that large.

You can tell
that the posture is not human.

You do see the stance

to be a little bit
more hunched over,

unlike kind of a human

in a gorilla suit.

it does seem to have, like,

more of the primitive

Bigfoot features.

This is me being a Bigfoot.

Better known
in these parts as...

The Ohio Grassman is

that region's
personalized version

of the creature we all know
and love as Bigfoot.

Going back
more than 300 years,

the indigenous Americans
of the Ohio grasslands spoke

of these wild ones of the woods.

Salt Fork State Park

is the Grassman's home turf.

This is where he's known
to reside.

There are conferences scheduled
just for this creature.

So if you're gonna see one,

this is the place to do it.

Nathan and Eric
did have a moment

when they thought
it could be a hoax,

but then realized there were
two very good reasons why

it almost certainly was not.

One was the time of year.

It was during
hunting season,

and there was definitely
no orange on it.

It's dangerous just
to go into the woods

with a bright orange vest on

during hunting season.

I wouldn't get
in a big hairy suit

and go out
into the woods of Ohio

when people are out there
with weapons.

And the second reason,

the extraordinary stink.

It was a pretty good distance
away from us,

for the most part --

good 100 yards or so.

But there was always
this faint smell,

like a sulfur, rotten-egg,
or a skunk type smell.

I've never smelled anything

quite that pungent before.

McNEILL:
This is a really common trait

that, for a lot of people,

distinguishes
a Bigfoot encounter

from an encounter
with another animal

that is not easily identified.

So a very, very rank

pungent, offensive smell

that a lot of people attribute

to a natural ability

to persuade humans to stay away.

Sort of an evolved trait

that has helped hide the Bigfoot

from human discovery

for so long.

Whatever the reason
for the musky stench,

Nathan is convinced

that what he saw that day

was the real deal.

I am definitely
a firm believer now

after having this experience.

in the U.K...

one that had
probably performed

many thousands of weddings
during its time...

maybe they shouldn't
have been so surprised

to see this
waiting in the wings.

are exploring
an abandoned church,

through its decay.

The pair discovered
the church online

and had been told directly

that it was haunted.

Now Andy and Danny are here

to see for themselves.

And sure enough, before long,

they begin
to hear what sounds like...

humming.

The noises lure Andy and Danny
deeper into the church...

...and farther away

from any quick exit.

Then, as they approach
the back room of the church...

As a figure who seems
to be wearing a wedding dress,

leans out from behind a wall,

staring down Andy and Danny.

- Oh, !

and I'm the person
that filmed the video.

there we go.

Holy crap.

This totally caught me
off guard.

There is clearly a shape

poking around the corner

that is full-bodied in nature.

You can see the long
stringy black hair

and the very pale face

and what looks like a gown
or a wedding dress perhaps

that the entity is wearing.

You can see that it's in
this flowing outfit.

It's sort of a pale gray.

The face is is a stark white.

It really does seem
very reminiscent

of a bride

in a wedding dress and veil.

Holy!

Go, go, go!

Go on!
!

There was something in there.

You get the real sense of horror

in their reaction.

There was
something in there.

Go! Go, go, go!

!

- This is sketchy, this.
- Oh, God. Really sketchy.

- Watch it.
- There's no floors.

I wouldn't fancy
fallin' down this.

So, what exactly did

Andy and Danny see that night?

Was it really a bride
in her wedding dress?

And if so, why?

Multiple weddings

were performed in this chapel.

So the spirit of a bride

sort of makes sense here.

What I saw was, to me,

emotional manipulation.

When you see something
that is pure,

something that's vulnerable,

like a woman on her wedding day,

chances are

that ain't what it seems, buddy.

Usually when you see something

like a woman in white

or a child as a spirit...

...it's something
a little bit more malicious

that is trying
to emotionally manipulate you

into trusting them.

Oh, Danny.

Danny, over there.

What the is that?

- Oh, !
- Oh, that!

Or could it be even darker,

this could be an attempt
to lure towards her

in the sense of,
"Hey, I lost my man.

One of you will do
quite nicely."

That's the classic Ghost Bride,

is, "I didn't have my big day."

I was robbed of this moment.

I'm going to have it."

Luckily
for Andy and Danny,

neither of them ended up a part
of this match made in hell,

and both have no plans
to go back.

We're in the middle
of the ocean.

Being on a ferry

in the middle of a body of water

can be
a very liberating experience.

The smell of the sea,

the fresh open air,

the wind in your hair

all contribute to a sense
of tranquility

that is hard to find
anywhere else.

But there's a flip side to that.

Because being on a ferry
in the middle of a body of water

can also make you feel

like a sitting duck,

especially when you suddenly see

what appears to be

an alien invasion
on the horizon.

what that is?

September 2019,

in Pamlico Sound,

off the coast of North Carolina.

William and Jamie Guy
are on a ferry

returning to the mainland
from Ocracoke Island,

when suddenly, they
and everyone else on the ferry

see this.

Bam, what is that?

A group of 14 lights

suspended in the sky above.

Anybody tell me
what that is?

The lights do not move at all,

almost as if they are
closely studying

the people on the ferry.

We're in the middle
of the ocean, on a ferry.

There's nothing around.

Look. Nothing around.

No land, no nothing.

My name is
William Ryan Guy.

I'm Jamie Guy,

And we filmed
the videos.

As soon as the sunset
went down,

they just appeared.

And then, all of a sudden,

they were there
for about three or four minutes.

They disappeared,
and then they come back

for about three or four minutes
and disappeared again.

William and Jamie each film

their own version of the events,

with Jamie noting the reaction

of the others on the ferry.

Everybody on this
ferry boat is out looking at it.

What is it?But nobody knows.

Nobody.

And that was freaking
everyone out.

There's no plane.

There's no nothing in the sky,

It's just lights.

I have Googled
military players.

I've watched
YouTube videos.

and they all have tracers.

They all fall.
These didn't fall.

They stayed in one spot,
disappeared,

come back a few minutes later
in the exact same pattern.

It was more of a shocking moment
at the time

because we just
couldn't --

Nobody could really identify
what was going on.

Footage like this
is very reminiscent

of your classic
alien movie encounters,

where the populace of a city

all is united in looking up
at the sky and saying,

"Oh, no.

What's happening?
What's coming?

It's an attack.
It's an invasion.

And all the people on the ferry

seem to be of the same mind,

- What? What is it?
- Nobody knows.

There's almost
an unspoken threat...

in that image of the lights
just hanging there.

I mean, there's many of them.

They're stationary.

They appear to be in position.

They appear to be watching.

If I were on the boat
with these people,

I would not be letting this go.

I would be insisting
other people film it.

I would be asking
whoever's driving this boat

who has the most authority
on this watercraft,

what the heck is that?

But just because no one

knew what these things were

doesn't mean
they haven't been here

this whole time.

Could it be that
we've been looking

in the wrong direction?

Within Ufology,
there is a subclass of craft

not known as a UFO,

but a UUO --

an unidentified

underwater object.

And these are often considered

to be craft that have
bases underwater

that either come from the water
into the sky

or from the sky into the water.

People have even speculated

that their bases
are hidden from us

beneath the surface
of the Earth.

I think we need to start
to expand our minds

to understand that
when we see UFOs

it doesn't necessarily mean
it comes from outer space.

It could be something that comes

from the same terrestrial plane
that we live in.

But on another frequency

and vibration
that we're unaware of.

And that's their reality.

And that reality
is a lot to consider.

As for William and Jamie,
they're just happy to have

witnessed something
so mind blowing

firsthand.

It was just
something different

that we've never
seen before.

It was very exciting
to see.

the owner of a paranormal
tour guide company,

who, after his daughter
brought home

a particularly active doll
from an investigation,

captured a plethora
of unsettling activity,

using night vision CCTV cameras.

Months later,
as Lee and his family

continue to grapple
with the reality

of their uninvited
guest or guests,

the intensity of the activity

has only increased.

Now, the only thing
that's left to wonder is,

how exactly is he going
to vanquish...

this unwanted housemate?

October 2019,

near Manchester, England.

After months of capturing
strange paranormal activity

on night vision cameras
around his home,

Lee Hart continues to document
further evidence

that he may have
an unwanted spirit

or spirits on the premises.

Like last time,

the activity begins
as seemingly playful.

Watch the two teddy bears
on the ottoman...

as they rock back and forth
slightly

on their own.

Then on the same night,

a camera in the kitchen

catches this.

A chair apparently
thrown onto the floor

from another unseen area,

which just a short time later...

...remarkably writes itself.

This October night would mark

the beginning of the escalation

of whatever is
haunting Lee's home.

Over the next several months,

the CCTV cameras capture

increasingly unsettling amounts
of ghostly activity,

from the refrigerator door

opening by itself...

...to heart-stopping activity
happening around Lee

while he sleeps.

First, keep your eyes
on this teddy bear

in the corner of the room.

Then watch...

as Lee's blanket is pulled down

while he sleeps.

And perhaps most terrifying,

a seemingly intelligent shadow

visibly hovers nearly

a few nights later,

watching him sleep.

Needless to say,

Lee is deeply concerned.

My name's Lee,

and I've been recording

the activity in my house

for about 12 to 13 months now.

The first time
that we caught activity

on the CCTV cameras,

it was shocking.

We've run events for years,

and I've never witnessed
anything like we have here.

So, it did scare me.

This house seems
to have a real plethora

of spiritual activity going on,

some of it's a little creepy.

The teddy bears moving around.

There's two teddy bears
on this chair

fidgeting around.

It's very sort of eerie.

The one that really
stood out to me

was the refrigerator door
opening.

Anyone who's gone
to get some ice cubes

and then go grab a soda

knows that the suction
of the door when it's closed

sometimes can be
really hard to open,

even when
you're giving it good force.

And if it is spiritual
in nature,

that's got to be a good, solid,

focused punch of energy

to cause that door to open.

The speed at which that
bear flies off that ottoman...

it really looks like somebody's
whipping it across the room.

I throw things
around my apartment.

It's usually I'm annoyed
at something.

McNEILL: Chairs falling over,

stuffed animals
flying off shelves,

doors opening,
blankets being pulled --

these are all really, really
classic poltergeist behaviors.

The shadow figure
not withstanding.

This shadow form
is bone chilling to me.

It calls to mind pieces

of an inky black form

moving along the floor,

like a sentient puddle,

and then taking shape

next to someone in bed.

And that strikes me as,
not only intelligent,

but definitely unfriendly.

So, if there is
obvious poltergeist activity

going on in Lee's home

and a visible shadow figure
at the same time,

what exactly is
Lee dealing with?

Those are two separate things.

So, they've got two hauntings

that they're dealing with here.

A poltergeist
can wreck your house,

Shadow entities --

They're more of
an evil presence.

So you got a poltergeist

and an evil presence
in your house there,

so something must be very bad.

How bad is very bad?

It seems like succubus energy
to me.

A succubus
is a spiritual energy

that thrives off you

losing energy.

It will try to keep you awake
during the night

so that you feel vulnerable

so that your wits
aren't all about you.

Then at that point,
once you're weakened,

it can start to mess with you
a little bit more,

which, you know,
if it is a succubus energy,

that's very bad.

But it makes sense that
you would see a shadowy figure

with some sort
of succubus energy,

because that is dark energy.

We've actually been talking
to our local church.

We've had a couple
of meetings now.

So we are actively seeking help.

But not everyone
believes in cleansing.

So then, how can Lee
get rid of this thing?

I don't think you can come in,

wave some sage around,
and suddenly --

You know,
nothing's gonna happen.

But if the person

who is the human agent

really believes that will help,

I think then that will help.

It's the power of suggestion

that's gonna cleanse that house.

When you deal with spirit

and anything esoteric like that,

I would always recommend
seeing a shaman...

...because they are
spirit workers.

Their job is to understand
the want of the spirit

and to make sure that you are
not in that line of want.

Whatever method
he ends up going with,

One thing's for sure.

Lee won't be bullied.

We will be staying in the house.

We're actually just
in the middle of renovations,

so we're not gonna
be pushed out.

on the Tennessee River,

just outside of Chattanooga.

But during the eight years
it was being built

many believe that the souls
of the fallen

still haunt the corridors

of the dam today.

Ghosts of workers who died
trapped in the concrete,

lost children

wandering its halls,

and some say, a demon.

in Marion County, Tennessee.

Justin Soto
and a fellow ghost hunter

are about to investigate
the Hales Bar Dam,

one of the most notoriously
haunted places

in the world.

My name's Justin Soto,

and I'm the one that filmed
the video at Hales Bar Dam.

I was with a friend of mine
named Frank,

and he picked me up
at the airport.

I didn't know where I was going

until we pulled up to
what is the Hales Bar Dam,

and I had no prior knowledge

of this place at all.

Justin and Frank
start their investigation

by meeting up
with a dam employee

for a guided tour.

This is Steven.
He's the curator of the place.

He kinda runs
the whole joint.

It wasn't until
we got the tour guide

to show us around
at the beginning,

and then I started hearing
all the stories about it.

All the power...

So dark in here.

So, the Hales Bar Dam
was actually built in 1905,

and its history is just littered
with tragedy.

Hundreds of workers actually
fell to their death.

They fell into the concrete,

actually sealed
into the concrete,

like many dams
across this country.

As soon as the stories
were getting told to me,

it kind of almost sets you up.

It prematurely builds fear.

When the tour ends,

Justin is allowed to quickly

explore the dam's
infamous tunnel system alone.

Oh, my God.
this thing goes on forever.

And within
just a few minutes...

I hear voices.

Whoa! Hello? Hello?

The tunnels tenfold are
the scariest thing

about that place,

because, really,
there's only one way in,

and there's one way out.

And I heard so many things
in those tunnels --

so many things.

Hello?

Did you catch that?

Listen again,

and you can hear what sounds
like a voice.

Hello?

And then...

...a coin being dropped

somewhere in the tunnel.

Remember...

he's alone in this tunnel.

Hey.

When I first
started hearing

the noises and the voices,

after that rush of excitement
comes in,

it turns into instant fear.

Do I really want to see

if something is going to,

you know, manifest itself,

especially when you realize

you're all by yourself.

Let me get my flashlight?

Then...

...what sounds like
the voices of children.

That was -- That was a voice.

That was a legit voice.

That was a...

I can probably explain why

we heard children's voices.

The tunnel that I was walking in

actually stretch
underneath the Tennessee River,

and it connected all the way
on the other side

to where school a was.

During the construction,

the kids would actually
walk through the tunnel

to and from school.

And it is confirmed
that there has been

two little girls that died
because of a collapse.

The water that came in
through the tunnel,

and they ended up dying

because of that.

But why would Justin
only be hearing activity

from what seemed
like the spirits

of two young girls...

...when so many other entities

were supposedly present
in this dam,

It could possibly be

the two spirits
of those little girls

that I kept hearing.

But then again,
we heard through the tour

that there's a demon that might
be walking around in there.

Demons can mimic.

They usually, I believe,

can mimic little children

to kind of get your attention

and, you know, search.

So, I -- I don't know.

This is where we heard
the kids laughing.

It's a really common tactic

for demonic entities
to imitate a child

because children are innocent,

and so we'll trust them.

There's a chance that
the children's laughter

may not be from a child.

Oh, my God.

This sucks.

When you hear
a crying child

or the voice of a child
in a location like this,

that is not your friend.

that is not something
that needs help,

That's a negative energy

that is trying
to emotionally manipulate you

into being vulnerable

in that space.

This frightening possibility

is not lost on Justin.

when I was there,

I felt like I was
being toyed with.

Oh, my God.
Hello?!

I don't believe
it was just one spirit.

I believe it was
a handful of them...

I just heard walking.

...because no matter
where you went,

they always seem
like it followed you.

That's what tired you out
the most, actually.

That's why the fatigue
kicked in.

Just, you're always
on this guard.

It's way scarier this time.

It's way more scary this time.

Get behind me.

Exhausted and freaked out

by the uncertainty
of what he was dealing with...

Seriously terrified.

...Justin meets
back up with Frank,

and they both get out before
things escalate even more.

Justin still has no idea

what exactly was happening
during his visit to the dam,

but he is certain of this.

Its reputation is well earned.

It was the most active place
that I've ever been to.

And I-I vouch that it's haunted,
for sure.

Coming up,
two men in Russia are stunned...

...by a fleet of UFOs.

By area,

Russia is the largest nation
on earth,

comprising
6.6 million square miles

of tundra, forests, and plains.

So, it's no surprise

that the country has witnessed
a tremendous amount

of documented oddities
in the skies above,

from fireballs...

...to, well, giant eyeballs.

And given all that
the average Russian citizen

has likely seen
in his or her lifetime,

just imagine
the type of sighting

that has to happen
for them to react like this.

August 19th, 2017,

In Saratov, Russia.

Two men are out in the town,

enjoying a late night stroll,

when they look up and see this.

A cluster of UFOs,

traveling seemingly in unison

in the night skies above.

There are so many of them

that the men can't even seem

to agree on exactly
how many there are.

And despite how mind blowing

this all is from
their perspective,

they can't help but note
how casual it seems

from the perspective
of the UFOs.

What we're looking at here
is very undescribable.

I'm having a hard time
putting this into words.

They almost look
like Chinese lanterns,

but they have a lot more mass.

They're a lot bigger.

And they seem to be moving
and hovering in a way

that is "discongruent"

from anything that
I've seen naturally.

I don't see any propellers
on these objects.

I don't hear any propellers,

no contrails, nothing.

But if you look closely,

it doesn't seem that the waiver
in any way.

They stay in that
rigid formation.

It doesn't seem to be
a very well structured

formation,

but it is definitely a grouping
of some kind.

They're all flying
in the same direction,

and it's clear that they all

have the same idea in mind.

They're of one mind.

So if they are,
in fact,

guided by a single intelligence,

is it possible the men

weren't actually looking

at several crafts at all?

At one point, I got the feeling

that this wasn't
a grouping of objects,

but it was more a single object

because it seemed to be moving

in one vector,

and all the lights,
all of the reflections on it,

stayed roughly
in the same position.

These sort of seemed to be,

like, a bunch of craft
currently in neutral,

being hauled by some sort
of unidentified semi truck,

pulling them along,

And we're just sort of seeing

the, you know, brake lights

or something like that.

Sound crazy?

Maybe.

but remember, this is Russia
we're talking about.

McNEILL:
Russia is one of those places

where we get a huge amount

of unexplainable,
unidentifiable,

possibly paranormal content.

And it's for a variety
of reasons.

It's a huge landmass mass.

There's a lot
of uninhabited space.

So, for videos of cryptid

or nocturnal lights,

we have an excellent setting

to capture things like that.

Is this some sort
of military experiment

Is this something
we've never heard of before?

And should we be worried,
I guess is the bigger question.

Whatever it is,

you can almost certainly count

on seeing it again.

A lot of the cameras
that are rolling in Russia

are for Russians
to keep themselves

from being pegged by the law.

It's like their form
of documenting something

to prove it's not their fault,

but then in the process,

are bumping
into things like UFOs,

cryptid, and ghosts.

I guess that's a good thing
about Russia's camera culture.

You're gonna always be able
to capture something on a whim.

What should you do

in the event you witness
something paranormal?

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

Bring multiple cameras.

Look at the hair.

Check your security footage,

and then check it again.

Overcome your fear

of the unknown.
