of a legendary creature.

What you're seeing is a

Is this evidence
of human teleportation?

For many, the thought of never
seeing your parents again

after their deaths
is overwhelming.

After all, they were there

from the
very first moment of your life,

through all your ups and downs,
till their very last breath.

But in some cultures, the death
of a parent or loved one

does not necessarily mean
you'll never see them again.

In fact, it could be just
the beginning of seeing them,

quite literally,
in a whole new light.

One woman in the Philippines
discovered this

on Mother's Day weekend

when her son took a selfie video

and the ghost of her mother,
his grandmother...

popped in.

While Teresa Ocampo
cooks dinner, her young son

entertains himself by taking
selfie videos with her phone.

Hours later,
with her son in bed,

Teresa nonchalantly reviews
the selfies and sees this.

In the foreground, her son,

and right next to him,
her mother,

who had died a year earlier.

The figure maneuvers in and out
of the shot for several seconds,

the boy seemingly unmoved
by her appearance behind him

before the footage ends.

The photo to the right shows
her mother when she was alive.

And the resemblance
is undeniable.

My name is Teresa Ocampo.

This clip
was super creepy to me.

I can't even imagine
my grandmother

looking dead and gray
with these huge black eyes.

My God, that's the scariest
thing I would ever imagine.

This is the kind of clip
that I find both mind-blowing

and chilling.

Not only does this woman,
this grandmother,

appear tangible,

but she also looks somewhat
decayed, with sunken eyes.

And there's even the appearance
of veins

on the side of her face.

That's creepy.

The face that moves into the
frame is very unnatural-looking.

If this is, in fact,
a ghost face that we're seeing,

it's probably the most

up-close-and-personal ghost
we have ever seen.

I mean, the face is only a few
inches away from the screen

that's monitoring
and recording this.

If a spirit is imprinting their
image onto recording media,

it's not gonna be vaporous,
it's not gonna be see-through.

It's gonna be solid.

It looks like a 3-dimensional,

solid person
next to that little boy.

In a side-by-side comparison,
they're a pretty good match.

Except for one
creepy difference.

Her eyes did appear to be sunken
in a portion of this video.

It's almost like
she was manifested

up to a certain extent

and then her eyes
started to hollow out.

A lot of people that have seen
apparitions mention

that the apparition's eyes tend
to be hollowed or blacked out,

almost sunken in the face,
like a skull.

The idea of the sunken
eye socket

or the gaunt look in a ghost
or a ghoul, if you will,

it goes back to the times
of burial preparation

and just dealing with
dead bodies in general.

The body decomposes,
its eyes sink in,

its cheeks sink in,

and that's sort of the look
we're getting here.

When you first watch this video
and find out

exactly what's going on,

you might be scared.

You might be terrified.

But the fact of the matter is,
look at the boy.

He seems just fine.

if he's feeling the presence,
it's of something familiar.

It's a family member.

It's someone who is there to
protect him, to watch over him.

But Teresa's son's
reaction, or lack thereof,

is not as surprising when you
consider where they are living.

The belief in a spirit world
is so deeply ingrained

in Filipino culture.

It's not a question of whether
or not we believe in it.

It is real.

Because we believe
that deceased ancestors

never really leave us,

even when they cross over
to the other side.

All they did was move on
into the spirit realm,

which is all around us and
constantly interacting with us.

You can see that
because the little boy,

he's innocently
taking this selfie video

and his deceased Lola,
just shows up behind him.

He's not afraid.
He doesn't react at all.

It's simply just
a thing that happens.

It's not surprising to me

that this Lola showed up
on Mother's Day

to remind her family,
you know, "Don't forget me."

And even outside of
Filipino culture,

ancestral visits are far more
common than you might think.

There's actually a really
long tradition

of deceased grandparents

and other relatives
visiting young children.

This is one of the most
common paranormal

or supernatural things
that kids report,

is that they have met
a friendly person,

often an older person
who they've never really known,

and when they describe
that person,

the rest of
the family pieces together,

"I think that's Grandma.
I think that's Grandpa."

Which goes to show
even though Grandma is gone

from the physical world,

it doesn't mean she isn't
still by your side.

Even though parents pass on
and grandparents pass on,

I do believe that they are
there to protect people

that they love
in the afterlife.

So even though this child
is a child now,

when this child turns
into a teenager or an adult,

those ancestral
spirit-guide energies

of, you know, grandmas or
parents that have passed on

will always be there with you.

to conceive of the technology

that there'd be something

An 18-wheeler travels
at a high speed along a highway,

when suddenly...

it's forced
to dramatically swerve.

A man wearing a lab coat

appears to pop up
in the middle of the road

and continue to walk
in a zombie-like state.

Watch it one more time.

Where did he come from?

How is this possible?

Next up, May 2018, in
Surat Thani Province, Thailand.

A vehicle's dash cam records

a highway drive
in the middle of the night,

when suddenly...

the image of a man seemingly
materializes from nowhere

in the center of the road.

The car drives
directly through him.

Not into -- through.

Finally, January 2020, in Japan.

A dash cam records this.

The image of a woman
suddenly appearing

in the middle
of a crosswalk of a busy road

where, despite being nearly
struck by several vehicles,

she, like the people
in the other videos,

seems completely unbothered.

With all 3 of these clips,
the question must be asked --

what exactly did we just see?

Each figure appears
solid and real,

unlike an apparition or ghost.

So, then, could we actually

be witnessing acts
of human teleportation?

Videos like this are, I think,
some of the most thrilling

and sort of shocking ones
that we've seen.

The figure that appears
in the middle of the road

is wearing a white lab coat.

That definitely
captured my attention

because, you know,
it makes me wonder,

is that a scientist who was
testing out

some new type of technology?

If so, that means that someone
has unlocked incredible power

that is far beyond
what we currently understand.

What's really exciting
about this clip from Thailand

is the fact that you can
actually see

the person's reflection
in the hood of the vehicle.

He's dead in front of it.

They drive completely
through him,

yet I guarantee you that person
was in that image,

he was in that video,
he was on that road.

I don't understand it, but, man,
that creeps me out.

This clip from Japan --
it's chilling.

If this is a living person,

it would be very hard
to believe.

I mean,
that is pretty explainable.

I mean, you don't know
what's going on here.

Even the guy
that was in the 18-wheeler

that this woman passed in front
of actually pulls over

to the side of the road to see
if he hit this person or not.

I actually have several
different friends

who have told me
of various times

when they were driving at night,
very tired and exhausted,

and felt like they almost
ran over somebody.

And they always chalked it up
to simply a hallucination

that they were seeing at night.

But after seeing these videos,
now I'm wondering,

what if there were really people
that they saw?

But if so, how?

Teleportation is a theory that
you can move matter

from one place to another

without actually having
to physically do it.

If you have ever seen
"Willy Wonka,"

you know exactly
how teleportation works.

It works exactly like TV.

Particles are torn apart,

they go through the waves,
and then they go into your TV

and then rejoin
and become a picture.

So if we can figure out
how to achieve that

on a biological level

and not just
an engineered level,

we're teleporting.

We're teleporting, baby!

It actually extends into
the paranormal world

further than you would think.

Many Bigfoot researchers
actually believe

that the creature
has the ability to teleport

or simply disappear.

Now, many of these stories
are accompanied

with orbs of light and UFOs,

so there's also the suggestion
that it may be an alien

of some sort
or interdimensional traveler.

So that may explain why
they're able to teleport,

and in turn could explain why
some humans are able to as well.

One of my favorite explanations
of teleportation

is the multiverse.

There are different versions
of this universe, this reality

happening in tandem with us,

and it's possible that there
could be a rift in our reality

where we can view
into other realities.

Or maybe it's not teleportation, but something similar.

Here's a wild thought.

Could this be a time traveler
arriving or returning?

Right now it's considered
impossible by scientists

because to reverse time

would not just be reversing
the time for the traveler,

but for every atom
in the universe,

and that, as we understand it,
is impossible.

But what if this is evidence
that someone can do it?

There are many
possibilities.

But if we are actually
witnessing

a new age of teleportation,
one polite request.

If somebody out there
has mastered the art of it,

I just wish they would
come up with a better place

to drop their subjects than
in front of my moving car.

Many pet owners
develop bonds with their pets

that are as strong or stronger

than any they develop
with people.

So it's no surprise
that losing a pet

is one of the most
traumatic experiences

a person can go through.

But what if when your pet dies,
it isn't quite yet ready

to go to that great
outdoor park in the sky?

A woman in Kentucky
seems to have captured proof

that one recently deceased dog
from her neighborhood

never actually left.

February 2018
in Louisville, Kentucky.

Melissa Murray is watching
the monitor of a security camera

attached to the front
of her house

when she sees a dog
meandering up the sidewalk,

its owner in tow, close behind.

But just then...

Did you catch that?

Watch again,

as a second, seemingly
transparent dog runs behind,

almost as if it's trying to
catch up

to the first dog and
its owner.

Melissa is stunned.

I'm Melissa Murray, and yes,

I found the video
on my security cameras.

I seen this little dog
walking down the street,

and then I seen this person
walking right behind the dog.

And then a few seconds later,

I seen this other dog,
and it had a shadow.

You see it on the video.

But as it get
in front of my house,

it just disappeared
out of thin air.

I was, like, shaking my head

'cause I couldn't believe
what I saw.

And then I told my son, I said,
"You got to run that camera back

because I don't think I seen

what I'm really actually
seeing,"

'cause I thought that
something was wrong with my eyes

because I couldn't believe
what I seen, you know?

The dog just disappear out of
thin air, you know.

I was really emotional,
more or less.

You can clearly see
there's a small dog

walking after the people
when the dog walk by.

What is it?

It seemed to disappear,

fades in and out of existence,
I guess.

So, what is this?

Is this like an after image
burned into the video?

If that were the case,

then the person walking the dog
should be in the video, too,

but there's no person.

It's just clear as day.

The camera doesn't seem
to be malfunctioning in any way.

Everything in the frame
of the camera looks very solid.

Now, the detail that
I really paid attention to

was the movements
of the two dogs.

They were similar, but
definitely separate.

The first dog trots across

and clearly sees that there's
somebody standing there,

stops to sniff him,
and then continues,

and we see the owner walking by.

The second dog seems to be
rushing to catch up.

The apparition of the dog
is also moving a lot faster

than the living dog.

You know, it almost seems
as if it's moving

without any restrictions,
like it's floating.

To me, what I'm seeing here is
an intelligent haunt of a dog.

This is a dog that
had a routine and is excited,

he's got a little
pep in his step,

and he wants to go on a walk
with this human

and his other little dog friend.

And, yeah,
he's just following suit.

To me, it looks like
the spirit dog wants to play,

wants to catch up with the other
dogs in the neighborhood.

But who was this spirit dog,

and what did he want with
the living dog and its owner?

Couple days after that,

I seen the lady
walking down the street,

and I stopped her and asked her,
I said,

"Was you walking two dogs
or one?"

Because I wanted to make sure
it wasn't my camera.

And she said
she was walking onedog.

So I showed her
the little, small footage

of what I captured,

and she watched it, and she
was more or less tearing up.

She couldn't believe
what she's seeing.

She said, "You know what?

A week prior to that,

I had just put my dog down
after 15 years.

I loved that dog,
and I know he loved me."

She asked me for the little,
small footage

so she can show her friends

because she couldn't believe
what she saw.

As a dog dad of two,

this both breaks my heart
and gives me a lot of hope.

I want to believe that
my little guys are out there,

if they want to be, still
following me along for a walk.

We hear from pet owners
all the time

telling us that after their pet,

whether a dog or a cat
or something more exotic,

after they pass on,

they can still feel
their presence there.

Something that's
really common is

they'll be sleeping
in their bed

and they'll feel
a little depression

as if their pet has, like,
laid down next to them.

I had a little, tiny
Chihuahua I had for 14 years,

and after we had
to put him down,

there were days when
I'd be in my apartment

here in New York City
and I could swear

I would hear him
shaking his head.

His big, giant ears
would flop up against his head.

And I heard that for months
after he went down.

What causes these visitations?

Why do they happen when they do?

One of the theories is that
perhaps a spirit

isn't ready to let go,

isn't done here, isn't prepared
to move on to that next step.

So, the next time you're forced to make a difficult decision

about the future of your pet,

just know there might be
a silver lining.

Animals -- and especially
dogs and cats, these animals --

it's unconditional love.

You know, it's unconditional
love that they feel for you.

So maybe they're gonna
try and hang around

for as long as they can.

And I hope that's the case.

Aside from Bigfoot's unique physical characteristics...

common trait attributed

to the legendary cryptid
is its reclusiveness.

That might be because
whenever we try to find one,

it seems to know
we're there.

That's why this footage
recorded by

an unmanned stationary camera
in Washington state

is so compelling.

Because when
no humans are around,

Bigfoot might not be
so reclusive after all.

It's the winter of 2020
in Snoqualmie Pass, Washington.

Along the
I-90 wildlife overcrossing,

a Washington State Department
of Transportation camera

captures this.

An ape-like creature trudging up
the hill, away from the camera.

At one point, it stops
completely and turns around,

almost as if it senses
the camera is there,

before disappearing
over the hill

and back into the abyss.

So, what exactly
was this creature?

Well, it looked like
a Bigfoot to me.

What you're seeing is
a bipedal humanoid creature

covered in hair.

By all accounts,
that's a Bigfoot.

It has all of
the characteristics

that we think of
when we think of Sasquatch.

It's very tall,
it's broad and hulking

and covered with hair
from head to toe.

It sort of lumbers up
over this rise

and seems to be very comfortable
in its own environment.

Well, one thing that
I notice that was different

about this video
than other Bigfoot captures

is that you can
actually see the limbs.

I feel like with all the other
footage that I see,

you just sort of see
a dark, vague silhouette.

Here you can actually see the
body a little bit more clearly.

As he walks across the overpass,

he pauses to look back.

Do you ever feel
somebody watching you?

Do you ever feel that sensation
on your neck where

"Ooh. I'm being watched"
and you turn around to look.

Maybe he has this sense
that something is observing him

and he turns around to look.

And when he does,
it doesn't seem to be

a person wearing a hat
or a suit or something.

It definitely
seems to be simian.

That pose right there
is very reminiscent

of the 1967
Patterson-Gimlin film

where those two cowboys
obviously caught the creature

walking across a sandbar

and it gave that
iconic turn to look at them.

I couldn't help
but notice the similarities.

McNEILL: That turn,
that sense of awareness

of "I know I'm being watched,
I know I'm being filmed,

I know you can see me,"

is one of the most compelling
moments in these things,

because wildlife will often
not react in that same way.

And that's one of those small,
little nuances that gives us

that uncanny feeling that
we're seeing something special.

There are also two more reasons to feel that way.

One is the source.

It was captured
by a state-run video camera.

The Washington State
Transportation Department

actually set this thing up
to kind of monitor

different road conditions
and that kind of thing,

and that's how
they caught this thing.

So that kind of lends
some credibility to it a bit.

You don't think
they would be faking footage

on a state-run camera.

The other is the location.

This was captured in Washington,
and the Pacific Northwest

is sort of notorious
for Bigfoot sightings.

And there's hundreds
of sightings every year,

and this may be yet another.

Native Americans
have been telling these stories

thousands of years ago about

these big, hairy, bipedal
creatures that roam in the area.

Based on the clarity
and steadiness of this video,

perhaps our Bigfoot-hunting
strategy going forward should be

set up a camera...

and wait.

passed away from a suspected
heroin overdose

at the Landmark Motor Hotel
in Hollywood, California.

She was just 27 years old.

Nearly half a century later,

the hotel room where Joplin
met her untimely demise

serves as something of a shrine
for the fans she left behind,

who flock to the room in droves
to this day

to pay their respects.

One such fan is paranormal
investigator Colin Browen,

who booked a stay
in that very room

and attempted to make contact
with Janis...

or whoever was
still haunting it

and experienced a level
of communication

that blew his mind.

September 22, 2019,
in Hollywood, California.

Colin Browen
and his girlfriend, Payton,

are spending the night
in room 105

at the Highland Gardens Hotel,

formerly
the Landmark Motor Hotel,

where singer Janis Joplin died
49 years earlier.

If any part of her energy
is still here,

we just want to contact her
and see if we can feel that

or access the memory
that she's left here.

My name's Colin Browen,

and I'm the person
who shot that video.

Actually, going into the room,
if you go to the right,

there's a bathroom
and there's a closet area.

Whoa.

And when you open up the closet,
there are thousands of messages

that people have written
for Janis.

"Janis, I stand here
feeling an emotion

so intense,
I can't help but cry."

It makes you think
and kind of realize

that a lot of the people
that stay in this room

and kind of request
this Janis Joplin room,

they are bringing
their own issues with them

and they're kind of
exerting that energy.

It's always interesting
when a very, very famous,

beloved person passes away
at a particular spot

that other people can go visit.

It just piles on
to the energy of these places.

So, we have a person
who themselves had

what we could certainly see
as a larger-than-life presence,

and that presence
has been extinguished.

But perhaps there's
still something there.

There's this energy there.

There's a presence
of that person there.

And then all of the people,
this pilgrimage site

that these locations
turn into --

the Landmark Hotel, or Graceland
as another example --

just add to that
sense of importance and weight

of that particular location.

With that in mind,
Colin has an idea.

I'm going to do a Spirit Box,

because I feel like
if during this Spirit Box

we can hear any of Janis' music
or something like that,

it would be pretty crazy

and conclusive that there is
some sort of energy here.

And it doesn't
take long for the Spirit Box

to yield the results
Colin is looking for.

It's been debated by
a lot of people

exactly how you died.

Can you tell me in one word
how you died?

You can just speak it.

I think the "wasn't
expecting it" response was,

to me, just hard to process,

because, obviously,
she died of an overdose

and her death
came at a young age, 27.

Totally shocking and tragic.

And to hear something say
"wasn't expecting it"...

...to me, while sitting
in the room where she died,

is kind of sad.

Hearing that voice
was just so shocking to me,

because I've watched so many
interviews that she's done

and I've listened
to her music my whole life.

To hear that voice chime
through on the ghost box

gave me the chills,
because I was like

"that, no doubt in my mind
is, like, Janis."

It's, like, so cool.

Hoping to obtain
further evidence,

Colin turns to another device.

exactly what happened
that night.

And I wasn't even
thinking about it at the time,

when I got the word "plants,"

but, obviously, heroin
is made from plants.

And it played,
obviously, once again,

a major part
in the death of Janis.

Asking "are you happy
where you are," Janis?

Are you happy?

"Memories."

Colin, the investigator,

makes the immediate connection
between heroin and poppies.

Poppies, obviously, are a plant.

And then that word "memories,"

in response to
"Are you happy where you are?"

and that sort of nostalgic
reply of just "memories."

Asking "are you happy
where you are?"

"Memories."

I don't know
if she's trying to say

that she's now living
in those memories

or she's happy that people
are celebrating hermemory.

But either way, the response...

I mean, it could have
been anything.

Anything.

Including, perhaps, Janis' fans,
rather than Janis herself.

In my opinion,
it's not fully Janis.

It's this weird other energy

that has kind of been brought in
by these different people.

For someone like Janis Joplin, who has been so important

to so many people
over the years --

I don't necessarily think
that sheis there,

but most likely, it's
the intentions and the feelings

of the people who go there that
gets deposited and builds.

And it's not necessarily Janis,

but almost like
the adoration of her

that is haunting that location.

As for Colin,
he has a theory of his own

on where Janis might be.

Janis loved the stage

and she loved all these
different places in her life.

She even loved her car.

So no matter where she died,

I don't think that
that would necessarily,

you know, define where she would
haunt or come back to visit.

For an extraordinary event,

the experience
of witnessing a UFO

can be a fairly ordinary tale.

One person sees
a flying object in the sky...

Where is it?

...takes out
a camera to film it...

I gotcha.

...and voices their amazement

Look at that.

Meanwhile, the rest of us

are left to judge
the legitimacy of the footage.

Which is why it always helps

when there's
more than one witness.

And in the case of one
UFO sighting in Louisiana,

there wasmore than one.

20 other witnesses.

And they all had roughly
the same reaction

to what they were seeing.

November 1, 2019,
in Shreveport, Louisiana.

taking a break
from work with colleagues,

when in the skies overhead,
they see this.

Flashing white and black
specks -- hundreds of them --

hover above, appearing
seemingly from nowhere,

baffling the onlookers below.

Unable to figure out
what the objects are,

the witnesses continue
to rule out what they're not.

The sighting lasts
for about 20 minutes.

Then the objects
slowly fade away.

My name is Ted Nelams,

and I am the person
who filmed this video.

My primary feeling
was shocked and excited.

For some reason,
I never felt any fear.

It was just "Wow. What are these
things in the sky?"

Yep.

There was so many.

Actually, there were
way more in the sky

than what the video captured.

That was just what
was in my video linked.

There was no sound, no colors
other than black and white.

There were
about 20 of us out there.

I mean, we were just
left with amazement.

This is an incredible capture.

I don't know what
we're looking at,

but these seem to be
some sort of flickering lights

or white objects
very high up in the sky.

What are these things?

I can say what
they're probably not.

They don't appear to be birds.

They don't appear
to be balloons.

They're certainly not
planes or helicopters.

They don't seem to be drones.

And they're certainly
not flares.

So, you have these
hundreds and hundreds

of what look like white crafts
flying in the sky.

Manned somehow, because
they're flying intentionally.

They're not just floating
around, like balloons would.

And then you see these
little black crafts

that are kind of floating
around the white crafts,

almost documenting them.

Anything paranormal
happening during the day

is rare and amazing to catch,

especially when dealing
with UFO sightings,

because they deal in discretion.

The point of a UFO
is to be unidentified.

They don't want to be seen, or
else we would know about that.

This might be
communication.

Who are we to say
that any other life form,

any other intelligence

would communicate
the same way as we do?

Perhaps this flashing of lights
is very much like a binary code

where they think
they're saying "hello."

They think they're
saying something to us

and they're wondering "Why don't
the humans understand?"

Whatever these things were,

they left Ted and the other
witnesses -- all of them --

absolutely dumbfounded.

We are dealing in
the paranormal, and you have to

take human reaction
into consideration.

And you can't ignore
this group's reaction

to what they're seeing.

There's a very clear,
very visceral reaction

to whatever's
happening in the sky,

and you have to trust that.

Ted has his own theory about what he saw that day.

And it's not
what you might expect.

I'm religious,
and I believe in God,

and so, then,
I believe in the adversary.

And so I know that God
fights battles for me.

And when I initially
sent the video,

right after filming it,
to my oldest son,

that was his
first impression also --

"Dad, I believe those are
angels and demons."

If you look at the video,

the white objects appear to be
attacking the black objects.

And so, having watched
it many, many times now,

I believe this was some type
