When they showed me the footage,

it was a dancing figure,

and it did really spook me.

Plus, even more
paranormal footage

you have to see to believe.

It seems almost every bar
in the world

has some sort of
interesting backstory

and maybe there's
a reason for that.

For many, a favorite bar
is more than just a place

to sit and drink.

It's a cherished sanctuary,

a member of their family,
a part of who they are.

And as a result, it's no wonder
that some bars

seem not just to be filled
with the souls of the living

but also, as the Milner's Gate
can attest to,

the souls of the dead.

What the

July 2019
in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Brian Rambur and his co-worker
Chris are beginning

to wrap up the night
at Milner's Gate Brewery.

So, I'm Brian Rambur.

I'm the bar manager
at Milner's Gate.

And I was upstairs
mopping the bar floor,

and I heard chairs
grinding in the basement

on the concrete floor.

We have a bar down there
that we use for special events.

I didn't think too much of it.

I thought that Chris was
downstairs moving chairs around.

But just after that happened,

he came out
of the office upstairs,

and he started yelling at me
to come to the office.

When Brian arrives
in the office,

Chris is panicked
and as white as a ghost.

He plays back to security
footage from moments ago.

Watch the top edge of the bar
in the middle of your screen.

Oh, my God.

What the

One by one,
the stools move back,

as if multiple ghosts

were pulling up to the bar
for a drink.

When we're looking at
the security camera playback,

like, "This is for real.
This is nuts."

Because, you know, I've heard
voices, Chris has heard voices.

We felt, like, taps
on the shoulders.

We've heard the stories
about it being

in an old, haunted building.

But we've never seen,
until that day,

something physical happen
like that.

A week later
on the same security camera,

Brian and Chris see this --

some kind of apparition
dancing around the bar area.

Well, that's pretty
damn active.

The first thoughts
was just bewilderment.

"This is real."

I'm pretty sure
I got goose bumps.

It was very bewildering
and very creepy.

It appears the rumors are true.

Milner's Gate is haunted.

The bar stools moving around by themselves is interesting,

but also the fact
that the managers and employees

are watching it like spectators
on the video footage.

They're very cognizant of it.

And it seems like
they're entertained by it.

The second one, we're not really
seeing the stools move so much,

but we're seeing this sort of
line of vaporous lights

that dance around exactly
in the same spot

where the stools moved.

Well, that's
pretty damn active.

This isn't see-through.

It looks like it's generating
its own light,

and it's moving specifically.

It's moving up and down.
It's moving left or right.

It's not sort of just randomly
flipping around.

It looks like there's
some purpose to its movement.

But what's perhaps
most remarkable...

Camera 11 at 11:00.

...is that
both incidents happen

at the exact same time of night.

11:00 again.

Coincidence?

Maybe not.

It was an Elks Lodge.
We bought it from the Elks.

They had their meeting place
in where the bar is now.

So there's an Elks Lodge
tradition to ring a bell

at the 11th hour toast to toast
the fallen Elks members.

11:00 figures
very prominently

into the Fraternal Order of Elks
rituals and their mythology.

And it is part of their sort
of secret initiation ceremony.

All you have to do
is look at the logo

of the Elks organization.

It is set on the face of
a clock, set to 11:00.

Rituals carry a lot of power,
and that ritualistic power

can be associated
with paranormal activity.

They're doing something
to honor the fallen

and to remember the fallen,

and the fallen
might be responding.

So the next night,

I left four shots of whiskey
down there

in front of those four stools.

And the Milner's Gate
wasn't just an Elks Lodge.

The building has a long history.

It's the oldest building
in downtown Twin Falls, Idaho.

And it's been a library,

and then like a Woolworth,
like a clothing store,

and then the Masons Lodge
and then the Elks Lodge.

Here's where it gets
interesting.

Because buildings can go through
different phases

and house different things
over the years,

the energy and identity
from each one

can lend a little piece that
over time can become a haunting.

Something that was
a Masonic Lodge

that became a library

that became maybe a hospital
during wartime.

Each identity gets absorbed
by the bricks

and the wood and the land.

And it might not cause
a haunting right away.

But given enough time,
those identities will coalesce

into something that most often
is a residual haunt.

But sometimes it can attract
those intelligent spirits

that want to check out who
and what they are now.

As for Brian,
he's a believer.

Before the barstool incident,

I thought that maybe
I was hearing things.

Maybe we're all
just hearing things.

We're all kind of paranoid.

I was a 90% believer in it.

But after that, 150% believe

that there is something
in that building.

Oh, my God.

What the

Coming up,

is this Hawaii military base
harboring UFOs?

Hawaii is arguably
the most scenic American state,

filled to the brim
with beautiful beaches,

lush forests,
and breathtaking volcanoes.

But there's another
characteristic

Hawaii should be known for --

top-secret UFO activity.

Because if one man's
casual snooping

around restricted government
property revealed this...

...there's probably
a lot more where that came from.

2010 on the big island
of Hawaii,

a man who wishes to remain
anonymous

peels off a north-bound road
to Kona

onto some apparent
private government property,

where he takes out his camera
and captures this.

Look at the sky.

Watch again
as three glowing orbs

fly in seeming coordination
with each other

over a field behind
a closed-off steel fence

before suddenly disappearing.

This is a great video.

You see these three
bright-colored objects

operating independently,

yet there is a unity
to their movement.

I find this video interesting

because unlike some of the other
UFO videos I've seen,

this one feels closer.

You can see the perspective
of the mountain,

the fence, and these things
flying around inside of it.

Usually it's off in the sky.

You can't tell exactly
how far away it is.

But here you have these separate
lights flying in formation,

coming together,
separating again,

and they're all
different colors.

This is almost like Voltron.

They're joining
to form one thing

and then breaking apart again.

And there at the end,
they actually just

simply disappear.

You don't see an object
anywhere.

They're just gone.

They're three different colors.

It's not a laser pointer.
It's not anything else.

It's definitely controlled
somehow.

It's moving around.

But why is it around, you know,
government bases?

I mean, what's the government
trying to hide?

Well, when it comes to UFOs, there are many who believe

that the government
is trying to hide a lot.

You have to consider the source

and you have to consider
the location,

and the location is right inside
of a military base.

So do I think it's a UFO? Yes.

Do I think that
it's an alien UFO?

No. I think it's homegrown,
baby.

Military bases give us that
element of possibility

without needing to get
to science-fiction

when it comes to belief
in these things.

It is entirely possible,
I think, in most people's minds

and probably even desirable

to think that our military
is designing things

that they are not being
super openly public about,

things either designed
for espionage

or surveillance or whatever.

On the whole,
people assume that's happening.

So whether these are terrestrial
but mysterious,

unknown, conspiracy-based

or extraterrestrial
is almost beside the point.

If it were a military test,

this is a good place for it.

If it were
an extraterrestrial encampment,

this is a good place for it.

Either way,
whatever happened here

has secrets that have yet
to be divulged.

Or could these
three glowing orbs

be something else entirely?

Is it a craft?
That's my first question.

Or are these, like,

types of energy
that are intelligent energy?

Are they manned by
some sort of other being?

It's hard to say.

They are bright lights
that can coincide

and interconnect
and then split apart.

But they're always in some sort
of unison flying formation.

I do think that there
could be something related

to more of the natural splendor
of the place.

Let's not forget
that these islands

are also a hub of
spiritual activity

for the indigenous people
of Hawaii.

So it could be because
there is that religious

and spiritual component as well.

We have seen a preponderance

of UFO activity
or UFO sightings in areas

that also have
spiritual importance.

Whatever they are
and wherever they came from,

until we get concrete answers
from the government

or elsewhere,

all we can do is continue
to speculate wildly.

What we did see was that
it was happening in an area

that was off-limits
to the public,

which makes me go, "Alright.
Now I really want to know."

Caves are inherently creepy.

Like this one carved
into the limestone cliffs

of Finnis Hill
in Dover, England.

Comprised of five tunnels
with adjoining passages,

this cave system was said
to have been built

in the early 19th century
by Napoleonic prisoners of war.

It went on to be used
as military barracks

during World War I

and an air raid shelter for
civilians during World War II.

Currently, the dark and eerie
cavern is unoccupied.

By the living, that is.

Many believe it's haunted
by several spirits,

including a young boy
named William.

In 1941, he died of
carbon monoxide poisoning

from a coal fire his father lit
in a bucket

to keep his family warm.

After hearing reports
of shadow figures

and the sounds of footsteps
and a child's voice,

a paranormal team
went to the Finnis Hill caves

to see
if they could contact William.

But it was William
who contacted them.

What was it, Mark?

Like that.

November 2019
in Dover, England.

Phil Bradshaw,
Mark Jones, and Jeff Young

enter the Finnis Hill Caves,
hoping to make contact

with the spirit
of a young boy named William

who died in the caves
almost 80 years ago.

As part of their investigation,

they set up static cameras
throughout the caves

and several REM pods --

devices that emit
an electromagnetic field

to detect movement.

If a spirit
comes close to the device,

it will light up and sound
an alarm.

Almost immediately,
one is activated.

Come on, guys. Quick, quick,
quick, quick, quick.

The REM pod's dead.

That was a new battery.

My name is Jeff Young,
and this is my video.

We always put
brand-new batteries

in every piece of our equipment.

And whilst we were
just continuing to set up,

the REM pod goes off.

It just continuously
just went nuts.

We rushed there
as quick as we could.

The REM pod was completely dead
within seconds.

Has completely died.

It's drained the energy from
the battery of the REM pod.

It's dead.

It's an ongoing theory
that ghosts or spirits,

if you will, need energy
to manifest themselves,

and they will pull that energy
from anywhere they can,

be it heat, in a lot of cases,
it's batteries from camcorders

and other equipment.

So ghost hunters oftentimes

will turn on a brand-new machine
with brand-new batteries

and watch it die
right in front of their eyes.

The team is
a little freaked out,

but they replace
the REM pod's batteries

and continue
with the investigation.

Then things go from weird
to downright creepy.

What was it, Mark?

Sorry, say again?

Something pulled the bottom
of my coat.

Like that.

Phil attempts to communicate

with whatever
pulled Mark's coat.

Did you just
pull Mark's coat?

Do it to me.

Mark actually thought he had
caught himself on something,

but he was completely
in an open area.

We've been to so many places

where if a spirit
can't actually speak to you

or doesn't know how to interact
with our devices,

it will do things like that.

I've been touched several times.

Mark has.
And so has Phil.

That happens quite a lot

on our investigations
at the locations that we go to.

But there's more.

When Mark, Phil, and Jeff
review the audio later,

they notice something else.

An EVP,
or electronic voice phenomenon,

was captured on
one of the recording devices

right after Mark's coat
was pulled.

Did you just pull
Mark's coat?

This is a great piece
of evidence,

and it is a class-A EVP.

It is very clear.

You can easily understand
what it is saying...

...and it corresponds with
the tug on the jacket

that the one gentleman felt.

"Shouldn't come bother us."

It makes it feel like
whatever spirit is in there

is there forever

and just, like, doomed.

It just can't get out.

And I think maybe this spirit
has just succumbed to that fact

that "I am always
going to be here.

Just please don't bother us.
Just go away."

Jeff is certain
they are onto something

and attempts
to make contact again.

If you can hear my voice,

can I ask you to light up one of
these devices that's here?

Can you do something?

Whoa.

The range of the REM pod
is fairly close,

so you have to be right up
on the device to make it go off.

So being across the room,
that won't set it off.

It's literally a field.

So unless you break that field,
it won't go off.

Since no one on
the team was near the REM pod

when it went off,

that leaves just
one possibility.

Now that the back and forth
is flowing a bit more,

the investigators take it
to the next level.

We decided to fire up
the SB7 Spirit Box,

which scans
through white noise,

allowing the spirits to come
through to communicate with us.

We was hoping William would.

William,
can you speak to us, please?

That was a little boy's voice.

That was a boy's voice.

When William come through
and said hi,

everything sort of changed.

The coldness got colder,

and I remember Mark
saying to me,

"I'm absolutely freezing."

William, is that you?

- I've got...
- I've got cold real bad.

Absolutely freezing
at the moment.

And what that usually is,
that's usually a spirit

taking the energy from the air
to try and do more things

and maybe to actually
show itself physically.

William, is that you?

And when I heard "We are here,"

suggested to me
that there were others.

I think the responses that he was getting on his Spirit Box

definitely show that they were
intelligent energies.

They were very much aware that
the investigators were there.

REM pods were drained
of their battery energy

and that they were
getting cold spots --

It shows that this energy
was trying to manifest a way

to communicate
with the investigators.

The communication
eventually trails off.

But Mark, Phil, and Jeff
are convinced these caves

are filled with spirits.

And one of them is William.

Is there anything that we can do
for you before we go?

We just wanted to know
if he was okay,

which we believe he is.

William, is that you?

When it comes to unexplainable supernatural activity,

little can compare
to miracles of divine nature.

For believers, these astonishing
events can be reassuring,

affirming their belief
in a chosen deity,

yet they can also serve
as a reminder

that something far more powerful
than man

constantly surrounds us.

Which is why witnesses
to these events

can be both inspired and shaken
to their very core.

From the beginning of time,

man has sought a closer
connection with a higher power,

and that desire has led to many
legendary accounts of messages

and visions of a spiritual type.

in Kongwang Village, India.

Inside a small shrine,

a worshiper captures
a strange phenomenon

that has attracted the attention
of many from miles around.

The crucifix on the altar shakes
back and forth continuously,

seemingly on its own,

while everything else
remains perfectly still,

leaving those who witness it

to believe
a divine presence is the cause.

The shaking that the crucifix
did was very intriguing.

I'd never seen anything
quite like that before.

The fact that this thing
was moving

and nothing else on the table
even moved an inch

kind of tells me something
strange might be going on.

Most who have
witnessed this event

consider it a good omen.

But could it be something
decidedly less benevolent?

If you are a nefarious spirit

and you are aware of the world

and you are aware
of these tropes,

wouldn't you do anything you
could to provoke that reaction

from the people you're trying
to provoke the reaction from?

I'm wondering
what the circumstances were

around this shaking.

Did something happen
before it started?

I don't know.

To me, it doesn't really feel
like a good sign.

Perhaps the sign, good or not,

is ultimately in the eye
of the beholder.

People are looking to believe,

and this is often one of
the signposts for that belief.

For those who do witness
such things,

to them, it's a miracle.

It's a reinforcement
of their faith.

It's a sign
that someone is watching

and it's all gonna be okay.

Next, about
1,000 miles away in Kazakhstan,

the faithful come from far
and away to witness

another miracle at Zhylagan Ata,
a Muslim holy site.

Near the mouth
of this mountainous cave,

legend has it that water
flows down this channel

only when the Qur'an is recited,

which is why this man
is here today.

He begins to recite the Qur'an

but understands it's not
a guarantee of a miracle.

Some visitors
who make the pilgrimage

have been known to wait days

or even weeks
for the waters to run,

sometimes coming away
with nothing.

It's only been
a few minutes of prayer,

but there is no sign
of water anywhere.

Then a faint sound
in the distance.

Now watch the upper-middle part
of your screen.

A rush of water begins
to flow down the rock channel

that was bone dry
just moments before.

McNEILL:
Now, this is an interesting one,

that idea that prayer
or meditation

could affect the natural world
in that way.

There are a lot of sacred
springs all across the planet,

sacred wells, sacred waterfalls,

springs that come up
out of the ground.

The idea of being able
to control them through belief

or magical practice
is an interesting element.

I think the people,

they want to believe,
they want to connect.

And when you see
incidents like this,

I think it plays
into their desire

to believe that there is
something bigger than just us.

But perhaps no religious miracle

has had more reported
occurrences on Earth

than sightings
of the Virgin Mary.

Accounts of the biblical mother
of Jesus

have been recorded for centuries
all around the world.

And it continues.

On April 20, 2011,

in the Yopougon district
of Abidjan, Africa.

Worshipers are suddenly blinded

by an incredibly bright light
in the sky.

At first, it's unclear
to the many people gathered

what they are seeing.

But then look closely
within the circle of light

as an image of what looks like
the robed figure

of the Virgin Mary
seems to appear.

It slowly fades from view,
returns again,

and then fades away for good,

leaving many in the crowd
moved to tears.

It does seem to be a figure wearing robes of some kind.

So, of course, true believers
will say that, though,

that's the Virgin Mary.

It really is, again, a reminder

that human beings,
a collective unconscious,

can come together
and formulate something

in their minds all together

and perhaps create
something like

they were just seeing in
their minds the Virgin Mary.

Whether you believe
this really is the Virgin Mary,

some other
paranormal phenomena,

or something in between,

there's no doubt
that sightings like these

leave almost everyone
who witnessed them

touched in some way.

Makes you wonder,
why would the Virgin Mary

just appear in the sky?

To someone without faith,
would it mean anything to them?

That spot -- Did it have
particular significance

to that story?

Whatever those answers are,

those gathered people
were changed by it,

were affected by it.

It did something to them,
reinforced their faith.

And whatever that was
in the sky,

we know what effect it had.

Coming up, a dance of the dead.

carry on dancing,

as long as they do keep
themselves to themselves.

to a woman in England

when she captured this.

And now that she's seen it,
she'll never be the same.

It's the spring of 2019
in Essex, England.

Victoria Hopkins and her family
live in a home

that was built in the 1920s.

Ever since moving in
two years ago,

she's had the feeling
that someone is watching her

and gets occasional glimpses
of a strange shadow

near the hallway
by her staircase.

My name's Victoria Hopkins.

When we first moved there,

we didn't know the complete
history of the house.

But over time the locals
have told us that

it used to be
an old dance academy

run by the former owner.

And it is haunted.

According to locals,

people have reported
odd feelings in and around

the house for years,

similar to what Victoria's
encountered since she moved in.

My friend got wind of it
who loves haunted houses

and visits them for a hobby.

Wanted to come down
and do some filming.

Again, I didn't think that
they would find anything

particularly interesting.

But Victoria was wrong.

Her friend set up a camera

pointing toward the hallway
by the staircase,

hoping to capture
something tangible

to confirm
Victoria's suspicion.

And sure enough, they did.

Keep your eyes on the bottom
of the staircase

as a shadow passes
in front of the door

at the end of the hallway.

Now take a closer look.

When the footage is zoomed in,

it becomes clear
that the shadow looks more like

an apparition of a young dancer.

You can see what looks
like a shoulder and arm here.

When they showed me
the footage of, well,

it was a dancing figure,

it did really spook me.

My first impression
of this video was,

"Oh, it's a shadow. Okay.

Someone's walking in
front of the hallway."

But when I watched it again
and looked more carefully,

that shadow seems
to be accompanied

by what I can only describe
as a shape of light

to offset the shadow.

A shadow would just be, okay,

a light being blocked
from a source.

This one almost
had definition to it.

That's a great, compelling
apparition right there.

There was a definite
almost outline

of a human shoulder
head shape in there,

which takes this from a shadow

to something more like
an apparition,

which is more of a fully
formed appearance of a person,

which I think
is much more compelling.

This doesn't seem to be any sort of intelligent haunting to me.

It's simply something that's
there and passing through.

And as you watch,
you can actually see

some dust orbs follow.

So it almost looks like
something physical

was actually moving there that
was enough to kick up some dust.

It weirdly looks like
it's gliding across the floor,

projecting its arm out.

It's a graceful ghost.

I would expect nothing less
from dance academy ghosts.

It totally seems residual.

It is a peaceful crossing.

So, did Victoria's
friend capture the ghost

of a former dancer
that once attended the academy?

Or is it something else
altogether?

My theory behind it,
because I believe

that the mind haunts places,

there is a lot of mental energy,

a lot of physical energy
going on in dance studios

that I think would lead
to, like,

something like residual energy
that lingers around.

My best guess
would be some kind

of place memory
type of haunting,

which isn't
any kind of consciousness.

It's almost like a filmstrip
that just keeps playing over

and over and over.

McNEILL: A lot of apparitions
are what's known as repeaters

or repeating images,

which is just like an imprint
that's left behind of an action

that happened over
and over and over again

during someone's life
in that space.

So we can assume that someone
who lived in that building,

someone who attended
that academy,

was coming down those stairs
and going to that door,

coming down the stairs
and going to that door.

Whatever it is,

Victoria felt a bit uneasy
after seeing this footage.

But she's decided to stay
in the house for now.

It gives me chills
talking about it,

but I'm not scared

because the House has got
such a lovely, friendly,

welcoming vibe to it

that if there is
ghosts in there,

then I'm happy
to let them carry on dancing

as long as they do keep
themselves to themselves.

There's no reason to be scared until there's a reason to be.

And when it comes to spirit,

most often they just want
to tell their story

or they're just going about
their afterlives.

So we can live
in harmony with spirit.

And until there's a reason
to panic, I wouldn't.

A full moon
is a spectacular sight.

And while it's one
of the few celestial objects

that is visible
to the naked eye,

it is even more fascinating

when viewed through
a high-powered lens.

You can focus in
on the many craters

that were formed over time

when asteroids and meteorites
crashed into the moon's surface.

Or you might discover
something else

even more awe-inspiring,

like a man in Moscow did

when he spotted something
beyond comprehension.

It's May 18, 2019, in Moscow.

Andre Smetinin is filming a full
moon with his telephoto lens.

About two minutes in,
he notices something bizarre --

three floating black objects.

But when Andre zooms out
to get a better look,

he is stunned
as the number of these objects,

or UFOs, multiplies
before his eyes.

I've never seen
unidentified objects

behave quite like this before.

The fascinating thing about this

is that they don't seem
to be in our atmosphere.

They seem to be
orbiting the moon.

Really, a whole squadron
of these things

pass in front of the moon.

So what are they?

When I first saw this video,

I thought somebody
released balloons

and we're seeing them float
across the moon.

But as I start
to think about it,

he was filming
from a great distance.

So would the aspect ratio
look correct?

Would the balloons
be really small?

Would they be really large?

The whole thing just doesn't
work out to me.

It's mind-boggling.

Whatever they were,
they as a unit were moving

because they were all going
in the same direction.

This definitely
looks similar to

a video of a sighting
I've seen before

where it seems
that a mother ship spaceship

is releasing a fleet
of what I think to be drones.

This looks like
alien drones to me.

I don't know what they are.

But they do look
like they were,

you know, intelligently run.

Which begs the question,

if these UFOs are taking orders
from something otherworldly,

what are they doing
near the moon

and should we be worried?

McNEILL: The idea that the moon
is our closest celestial body,

that this would be
our first source

for extraterrestrial existence
or life,

that people could invade or
that people could settle there

or creatures could settle there

is such a common idea now

that we're not even
weirded out by it anymore.

But we are weirded out when
we see a YouTube video of it.

Andre is still not
quite sure what it was

that was passing
by the moon that night

but feels fortunate
to have captured something

so extraordinary

and possibly extraterrestrial.

If he didn't have that camera,

the lens on the moon,

he would have never caught that.

Nobody would have
ever seen this.

I guess UFOs don't have to be
white lights in the sky.

And if they're black lights
in the sky,

you never gonna see them anyway,
so who knows what's out there?

something paranormal?

Keep a fresh supply
of batteries.

It's completely died.

It's drained the battery
