capture in Gettysburg...

This is some
of the best footage that,

in my opinion,
has been captured.

...and even more
paranormal footage

you have to see...

Oh, my God.

...to believe.

Siberia --
one of the most remote,

uninhabitable places on Earth.

From around 1920 to 1952,
18 million people

were sent to Stalin's gulags
or forced prison camps,

where many died of starvation,
disease, exhaustion

or were simply executed.

But there is one half-man,
half-beast cryptid

that locals believe is alive
and well

in this part
of the world -- the yeti.

Similar to the Bigfoot
in America,

the yeti is believed to have
terrorized the continent of Asia

for as long
as humans have lived.

And now three Russian boys

may have captured terrifying
proof of its existence.

Kemerovo, Russia,
a city in southwestern Siberia.

In 2012, three boys
were playing near the woods

when they stumbled upon
some large footprints.

According to the boys,

the footprints
you're seeing here

were about 16 inches
long and 7 inches wide.

Not sure what creature could
possibly make tracks that big,

the boys did what most curious
kids would do in that situation.

They followed the tracks...

...while recording their
adventure on a cellphone.

Despite their obvious fear...

...the boys kept going.

Suddenly, they reached
the edge of the forest,

and when the camera pans up,
they see it...

...a large, furry...

...beastlike creature.

Could it be...

...a yeti?

The fact that these kids
take off running

tells me one of two things.

One, they're smart kids.

Even if this is a person,

it could be
a dangerous situation

and two that they were actually
scared of what they saw.

They didn't seem to be
laughing or playing.

They seem generally frightened
and wanted to get out of there,

so that tells me that whatever
they saw wasn't natural to them.

Not natural and terrifying.

This is great footage

of some kind
of a humanoid figure.

We get a pretty clear
look at it,

this what looks just like you
would imagine

a Bigfoot-type creature
to look like.

To me, its reaction seems to be
that it's hearing them

following it
and pauses briefly,

looks kind of over its shoulder
to see if it's being followed,

and then when it senses
that they are there...

...it turns and quickly
runs in the other direction...

...which they do also,

which I think is
a great reaction

because I would imagine
that yetis do run better in snow

than small boys.

And if this was in fact a yeti,

the boys made
a very wise choice.

It has been reported that
the yeti has a long

and violent history in Russia,

one gruesome incident occurring
just over 1,000 miles away.

Many people claim

that the yeti
is a more violent cousin

of the American Bigfoot
or Sasquatch,

and there's certainly
some evidence to back that up.

You have the Dyatlov Pass
from 1959.

Several skiers
were actually killed.

McNEILL: A group of young people
were camping out,

going skiing, disappear,
found days or weeks later

appearing to be crushed somehow,

one of them
missing their tongue.

They didn't exit
their tents normally.

They ripped their tents open
and went out the backs of them.

Many people believe that
the violent death

that they succumbed to
was a result of a yeti attack.

Fortunately, the boys
all made it out of there safely,

but whether or not
they narrowly escaped

from the clutches of a yeti
remains a mystery.

One thing is for certain.

They will never forget
their encounter

with a Siberian monster
in the woods.

Many believe that when
people die,

their spirits leave
their human form

and move on to the afterlife,
possibly for all of eternity,

but in the days immediately
following a death,

there have been reports
of a spirit lingering on Earth,

maybe to say goodbye
one last time

or to take care
of unfinished business.

They make their presence felt
in mysterious, intangible ways,

like a rustle in the wind,

a light touch somewhere
on the body

or perhaps if you're lucky,

an appearance
on your back porch.

There is an orb
in our backyard, oh, my God.

In the spring of 2019,

just a day after
his father passed away,

Jeffrey Maxwell's wife
asked him to investigate

what triggered the security
camera at their home

in Gilbert, Arizona.

So our camera is
picking up this white blur,

but there's nothing outside,
no light, no bug.

This is live view.

The glowing, perfectly
round ball of light

hung in the air,
completely still

as Jeffrey grew increasingly
disturbed by its presence.

This isn't fun anymore.

It's still there.

I'm gonna open the door.

I'm going to walk out to it.

I ran outside to see
what it was,

and when I couldn't see it
physically with my eyes,

I took her phone,

and I was looking at her phone,
and I'm like, "This is crazy."

I'm just doing this.

Okay, I'm right next to it.

There is nothing here,
nothing.

Jeffrey then gave
the monitor to his wife,

so she could direct him.

When I went outside,
I was trying to...

because I couldn't physically
see it with my own eyes.

My wife had her camera,
and she's like,

"Come forward.
Come forward."

Closer?

A little bit
in the front, yeah.

Right here? No, you're too far.

Well, no,
come forward.

And I put my hand through it.

I put it behind it,
and I put it in front of it,

but I couldn't really
feel anything

other than the hair
on the back of my neck

because I was kind of
creeped out,

is how I would put it.

There is nothing here.

Come forward.

Now wave your hands
through it again.

For people that believe

that orbs are
supernatural in nature,

there's several different causes
for these things to come out.

Some people claim that
they're balls of energy

that just travel
the countryside.

Some people talk
about ball lightning.

Other people think that
they're actually

the manifestation
of human souls or energy.

Jeffrey firmly believed

that the orb was in fact a soul

and not just any soul.

There's something here.

Jeffrey was sure
it was his father

coming back
for one last visit.

My father passed away the day
after Mother's Day, so May 13th,

and this was May 14th
when this happened.

I was like, "Oh, wow,
this is crazy."

I'm in a professional
work field,

and to show them this,
I was like,

"Oh, I don't want people
thinking I'm crazy

for it
or anything like that,"

but, you know,
it is what it is, right?

It was my father.

He had a lot of unfinished
things that he needed done,

and I told him
I'd finish them for him.

It's okay, and so I
have a feeling

that was him coming back.

Dad, is that you?

My hair on the back of my neck

started when I started
asking it questions like,

"Hey, Dad, is this you?"

That's when I started getting
a little more nervous,

a little more like kind of like,

"What the hell is going on?"
kind of a feeling.

Your right hand is,
like, right in it.

There is nothing here.

It's oft been reported

that when spirits
do make contact

or try to make contact
with the living,

it is directly
after their passing,

and then often,

those people never
experience anything else again.

This is insane.

Turn the light off.

Still, nothing changes.

No light changes, nothing.

That's certainly one
of the tropes in,

you know, paranormal activities,
unfinished business.

People need to come back
and finish something

they didn't get to do
while they were living.

Come on.

That has to be Dad.

Could this be a visitation?

It's comforting to believe that,

and I don't think
any investigator worth

their salt
would contradict him

if that's what he feels,
if that's what he believes.

I think he's a big
thing in our life,

and I think that
if he had one chance to,

"Hey, let me say something
before I leave,"

I think that he would ride that,

which I think he did,
you know, and it was just...

It's just an ugly event
altogether,

and, you know, he made something
positive out of it

and touched me with it,
so it was good.

one of the most famous

ghost captures of all time.

Narrator: From July 1st
through July 3rd, 1863,

the Confederate and Union armies
engaged in the deadliest battle

of the Civil War
in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

More than 7,000 men
tragically lost their lives,

many of which were never
given a proper burial,

so it should come
as no surprise

that the Gettysburg battlefield
is considered

to be one of the most haunted
locations in the United States.

More than a century later,

one couple staked out the area
with their video camera

and caught some of
the most definitive proof

of that haunting
you will ever see.

Right there, see it?

Uh-huh.
Look.

Gettysburg is
a very paranormal area.

Thousands of people
lost their lives,

you know,
during the Civil War there,

and that kind of violence
is imprinted in that area.

One area that's said
to be particularly ripe

with hauntings
is a 3-acre site

that saw intense fighting
on the second day of battle,

the triangular field.

The triangular field
is one of the places

where people have seen things
for generations now.

It was just such a bloody battle
with so much loss of life,

all young lives
for the most part,

people cut down before they
really experienced a full life.

So you have these spirits
in a kind of a turmoil,

and if it's a violent death,

there might be a reason
for these people to hang around

and not really be
resting in peace.

What's really interesting

about the triangular field
at Gettysburg

is that
the National Park Services

have cleared out
all the new growth

since 1863 to keep it looking

exactly like it did
the day of the battle.

And that makes for
a perfect environment

for residual energy to play over
and over and over again.

Some visitors to the
field claimed their cameras

and watches stopped working,
while others have reported

hearing unexplained
sounds of battle...

...but this pales in comparison
with the footage

that Delia Underwood and her
husband captured back in 2001

when they set up
their video camera on a tripod

and pointed it toward
the triangular field.

First, watch as they witness

mysterious flashes dancing
in the trees.

Wow, you see
those sparklies?

Hon, did you see that?

Yeah, I saw that.

Now look.
Watch.

Watch it.

Then moments later...

Keep your eyes on the left side
of the screen.

I don't see nothing
down there.

Did you catch that?

A series of figures
walk into the woods.

There's another sparkle.
You see what I'm saying?

What's that?

What is that?

Tree?

No, you moved it.

It's right...right there,
see it?

Uh-huh.

Look.

Then finally,
more figures appear

and walk upward
through the trees.

My name is Delia Underwood,
and I am the person

that videotaped
the Gettysburg ghost video.

There is no way a human person
could go that high.

Right there.

They were walking up like
they were going into heaven.

See it?
Uh-huh.

Look.
There's nobody there.

Anybody that's well-versed
in paranormal investigation

has probably seen
this Gettysburg clip,

and, you know,
the clip speaks for itself.

First, you're looking
at what appears

to be lightning bugs
or fireflies.

That quickly gives way
to flashes of light

and what appears to be
sections of human figures.

You can see the upper torso,

and they seem to, like,
ascend into the sky.

It is really amazing to see it

because I have personally
experienced apparitions

that look just like that,
half-bodied apparitions,

half forms like that,
just the legs,

just the torso,
maybe half a torso, one arm.

That footage validated
so much for me.

I was like,
"Wow, I can't believe

you could capture
this stuff on camera."

Look right there.

See it?
Uh-huh.

Now, when I originally
saw this clip

years and years ago,

I was like,
"Well, it's reenactors.

It's people moving around,"

but it turns out that that field
is about a 20-foot drop,

so you're actually
watching figures

walking through the trees.

There's no ground
where those figures are.

And there was nobody down there.

I walked down all the way around
and took pictures

and there was nothing.

What I believe is
being captured

are residual energies
of soldiers

who passed away
while serving at Gettysburg.

It looks like
they're marching in formation

or marching up a hill
or getting up and moving.

It's almost like they're dead,

but they don't really realize
that the war is over.

Maybe that's a residual haunting
where they just keep doing

what they were told to do
by their general,

and I guess their orders
will never end.

Look.
Look at the people.

Delia and her husband
knew immediately

that they had captured
something very special.

We got home,
and we put it on the TV,

and we looked,
and we looked at it again.

We looked at it maybe 10 times

to see what
we were really seeing.

To me, it was amazing because
we actually got some proof.

Proof that thus far

has been nearly impossible
to debunk.

What I love about this

is that this was shot on tape.

We forget that those things
exist now,

but, yes, this was shot
on a tape, not an SD card.

There's no way to tamper
with this piece of evidence.

I believe the videotape
was investigated,

and it wasn't manipulated
in any way.

On her tape, there are people
moving through the trees.

End of story.

I mean, that's what's
on the tape. It's there.

As far as ghostly
activity is concerned,

this is some of the best footage
that,

in my opinion,
has been captured.

It's certainly
one of the best videos

to ever come out
of Gettysburg.

Even after all these years,

Delia feels fortunate to have
been the one to capture it.

I still find it amazing.

I'm like, "Yes, we finally got
something, you know,

that we can prove, you know,
to the world of the nonbelievers

that this is really real."

captures a shadow figure

lying in his bed.

You know that feeling you get

when you're offered a great deal
that you simply can't pass up?

Recently, a man from Colombia
thought he'd hit the jackpot

when a fully furnished apartment

became available
for a low price,

but soon after moving in,

he realized that when something
seems too good to be true,

it probably is...

...unless you don't mind

sharing your bed
with a shadow person.

Late 2018, in Cali, Colombia,

Jairo Páramo was just moving in

to his new furnished
rental apartment,

an apartment he had found
for an incredible price,

when he noticed
something odd.

Random personal items
had been left behind

by the previous tenants.

It appeared the renters
before him had left in a hurry.

Curious, Jairo did
some asking around,

and he found out that the reason
they had left so quickly

was due to a series
of strange events

that made them fear
for their safety.

Jairo was disturbed but decided
to remain in the apartment

because it was
such a great deal.

It was a decision
he would come to regret.

It all began with the door
to his balcony.

Night after night,
Jairo would find it open

even though he was sure
he'd closed it.

Then came the maggots,
dozens of them,

accompanied by a foul odor,

both of which
suddenly disappeared

as quickly
as they had appeared.

The noises came next,

like the sound of someone
snoring right next to him

when he laid down to go
to sleep

in the bed that was leftover
from the previous tenants.

But maybe the most
disturbing change

took place
in his faithful companion,

Octavio, when the normally
affectionate cat

suddenly turned
into the devil's cat.

While all of this was happening,

Jairo had been posting about it
to his social-media account

and had gained
a large following.

One night,
his followers requested

a live tour of the apartment,

so they could check it out
for themselves.

Jairo was happy to oblige,

but he had no idea
what he was in for.

Everything seemed normal as
he walked around the apartment.

Then he passed
through the bedroom.

Did you catch that?

Watch again closely.

There, lying on his bed,
a shadow figure.

Jairo didn't notice at the time,

but his followers did
and immediately alerted him.

Jairo quickly rewatched
his post and was terrified.

Interpreter: My initial reaction
was disbelief...

This one sort of creeped me out

because I don't think
this gentleman was faking.

I don't think this was staged.

Clearly somebody is laying

in this guy's bed
as he walks through.

To see that thing laying in
the bed like that, God,

that would scare
the hell out of me.

I would have to move
out of there.

It's terrifying.

It's almost like a corpse
laying on the bed.

How he didn't see that when he
walked into the room

is almost unbelievable.

I mean, perhaps he was looking
at the camera in front of him

rather than looking at the bed,

but when we see it
over his shoulder, it's like,

"Whoa, what is that?

Dude, get out of the house."

Jairo was too
freaked out to stay

in the apartment that night,
but he did return the next day

and decided to dig
a little deeper

into the apartment's history
by, again,

speaking to some
of the neighbors.

He found out that a disabled man
named Tito

had been living there before
the family who left in a hurry.

Tito's family had
apparently abandoned him,

and he ended up dying there
all alone in that very bed.

It's unnerving because that's
the bed that he sleeps on.

That's the bed that
he's been hearing snoring,

so that definitely
validates the fact

that something weird
is going on.

Whatever energy is stuck there
probably sees it

as the same familiar environment
and has decided not to leave.

If I lived in this home, I think
I would pass up this good deal

and move out.

The activity that he describes,
the figure in the bed,

the snoring alone
would be enough

to keep me
from wanting to stay there.

Despite the appearance
of the shadow figure

and the information
he'd gathered,

Jairo stayed in the apartment
for almost a year

until one particularly scary
event convinced him to leave.

However, he was willing
to return to the apartment

for this interview.

Needless to say,

everything that Jairo
went through in this apartment

has changed
his belief system forever.

Coming up,

a security camera
captures a bizarre alien being.

I can't think of
anything in normal life

that would cause that.

What if we told you
that, at any given moment,

you're surrounded by an infinite
number of beings

from other dimensions,
and for the most part,

those beings are as unaware
of you as you are of them?

Because although these
dimensions are all

inextricably linked
within the greater universe,

there are invisible walls

that keep us hidden from each
other for our own protection.

But every once in a while,

someone or something
slips through,

and if you're lucky enough
to have a security camera

pointed in just
the right direction,

you just might catch a glimpse,
but be warned.

Once you see it,
you will never be the same.

In June 2019, Stan Amtower
from Portage, Michigan,

noticed that something
triggered his home

security camera
the night before.

When he played back the footage,

what he discovered was
unlike anything he'd ever seen.

The elongated rodlike form
approached the camera,

seemed to disappear for a moment

and then return before taking
a position much farther away,

almost as if it were
both aware of the camera

and slightly wary of it.

Stan was baffled.

I'm a pretty big skeptic.

I tried to think, like,

would there be people
with a laser pointer,

but a laser pointer would be
just a single dot,

so that wouldn't be it.

I can't think of anything
in normal life

that would cause that.

This video even introduced me
to something different.

I had to consider, "Okay,
well, what is it?

It's not a lens flare.

It's not someone
with a laser pointer."

I'm trying to figure out
what this could be

and what's causing it,

and every time
I think I have a handle on it,

it exhibits a behavior
that throws that out the window.

It looks like
a fluorescent tube

without the glass around it.

You know, it seems to have
some kind of intelligence.

It's not, like, a bird
or whatever flying by

because you would know
what a bird looks like

in a video camera.

As bizarre as this sighting is,

Stan isn't the only person

who has captured
these entities on camera.

Whatever these things are,

they've been filmed
all over the world,

from Canada to England,

and they're sometimes
given a peculiar name.

The theory behind these skyfish
is that they're considered to be

some, like,
extradimensional creatures,

things that live
within our planet,

within our realm,
just in another dimension,

and I can't argue with that
because I like to believe

that maybe there are
other dimensions out there,

things that coexist with us
and we are unaware of.

Sky rods really pretty much
showed up as far

as I know in the 1990s.

Did an alien life-form
show up at that time?

Did our technology develop
to the point

where it could capture something
that's always been there?

Or did our technology
create something

that we are misunderstanding?

And it's hard to know.

Whatever these things are,

Stan doesn't seem too concerned

as long as they keep
their distance.

None of this really scares me
because nothing is poking you,

touching you, you know, so
as long as that doesn't go on,

that's okay, you know?

They're there.
They can be there.

As long as they're not poking
me, that's fine, you know?

...and instantly regrets it.

will tell you,

once you open that door,

One night in 2016,
Ian Hawk from southeast London

decided to try to communicate
with the spirit world

for the very first time.

Ian had heard about
a young man named Buster

who had recently been murdered
in his neighborhood.

Perhaps his spirit
was still there.

He enlisted the help

of paranormal investigator
Danny Wood.

I'm just doing
the tech side.

The two men set up shop
in Ian's living room

and livestreamed their attempt
to an audience

of a few hundred people.

Under the guidance of Danny,

Ian placed some items
on the sideboard in his kitchen.

The hope was that Buster
or another spirit

would communicate by moving one
or more of the items.

The team also set up

an electronic voice
recorder on Danny's phone

and an infrared camera
on his computer.

Now it was time to get to work.

They waited for a few minutes
when...

Little did Ian know,

Buster, or whoever it was,
was just getting started.

When I feel like
people get really excited

on investigations like this,

it can actually amplify
the energy,

so if there's any inkling of
fear that's going on or anger,

depending on the type of energy
that's in the home,

it will feed off of that.

Regardless
of his obvious discomfort

and unsure of who exactly
he was dealing with,

Ian soldiered on.

Although we don't know
precisely what the spirit

might be trying to say,

it does seem to be trying
to intimidate the cameraperson.

Poltergeist activity
usually escalates,

and so to me, it seems like
it's already gotten

to a pretty powerful level,
and so I highly recommend

that they try to de-escalate
it as soon as they can.

Ian apparently agreed,

as he had already gotten much
more than he had bargained for.

He and Danny packed
their things up

and left the house
for the night.

Though uncertain if he managed
to make contact

with the spirit of Buster,
he is 100% convinced

he was interacting with someone
or something from beyond.

Coming up, a scary sight
over San Bernardino.

If you're lucky enough
to catch them,

the sky can offer up
some spectacular sights,

from mesmerizing meteor
showers to moonbows

and, of course,
the aurora borealis,

also known as
the northern lights.

And while few things
in this world

can compare to natural
phenomena like these,

every now and then,
there are some things

from out of this world
that blow them away.

Oh, my gosh,
that's not normal, dude.

In September of 2018,

Evelyn Zamora was visiting
her uncle in San Bernardino

when an anomaly in the sky
literally shook her to her core.

Oh, my --
That's not normal, dude.

If you come this way,
you can look at it better.

Why don't you have shoes on?

Oh, my gosh,
you've got to stop shaking.

Oh, my gosh.

Oh, my Lord Jesus.

I've never seen anything
like that in my life,

almost as if the sky was,
like, opening up

and, like, colors
were coming out.

Oh, my gosh, are you guys
seeing this?

In person, it was a mixture of,
like, colors

that were, like, fading
into the night of the sky.

It was almost like
an aura surrounding,

like, the area
that was opening.

I don't know if it was
a part of it,

or it was, like, reacting
to the sky or something,

but that's what I saw.

I must admit,

this is a really
beautiful piece of footage.

It almost reminds me of when
you're looking at galaxies

through the Hubble telescope.

You see all these
beautiful lights.

It looks like a giant
sort of amoeba of a cloud.

The curious thing
about it, though,

is that it's illuminated
from within,

almost like a living cell
with a spotlight in it.

Oh, my gosh, you got to
stop shaking, oh, my gosh.

I base a lot of how I
react to these things

on how the person
filming it reacts to it.

They're privy to a lot
more sensory input.

Are you guys seeing this?

All we have is that
two-dimensional screen.

They're there.

Oh, my gosh, I'm shaking.

They know this is something
very unusual.

The sight was so unusual

that Evelyn and her uncle

weren't the only ones
who took notice.

My uncle's dogs were
actually freaking out

because they were actually
looking up to the event

that was happening in the sky,
and they were barking,

which made me freak out
even more

because I know dogs
have, like, a sense of, like,

when something bad is happening,

so I could tell something
was going on.

As excited as Evelyn was,

she was also simultaneously
terrified for obvious reasons.

I thought it was, like,
aliens coming to invade.

Like, I have no idea.
I didn't know what was going on.

Like, I had no idea
what was happening.

There is a lot of awe and scary
just, like, gut feeling

that you would get when
you capture something like this

that you have no idea about,

and I'm sure this would be

a beautifully terrifying
experience to encounter.

- Check it out, man.
- Look at it.

Oh, my gosh, it's so...

If I saw this, I would be
just totally freaked out.

I would think it's the end
of the world.

Luckily, the world survived,

and the UFO
eventually faded away.

Later, Evelyn posted
the footage online,

hoping to find some answers.

While most viewers agreed
it was otherworldly,

some speculated it
could be a rocket,

but Evelyn begs to differ.

It looked nothing like a rocket.

It didn't even move.

It just stood in one place.

It's certainly not a rocket

because they move
pretty quickly,

and you can sort of see
the propulsion.

And if you were somewhere near
where they're launching rockets,

you would expect that.

This does not seem to be
an everyday occurrence,

wherever this was shot.

As far as Evelyn is concerned,

this surreal experience
solidified her belief

that there is life
beyond Earth.

I honestly do believe
that there's aliens out there.

I think I've always knew,

but I feel like this
really confirmed it for me.

Like, there's something
definitely out there.

Oh, my gosh, I'm shaking.
