to a hospital

that sees death every day,

there's a lot
of phenomena like this.

...and even more
paranormal footage

you have to see...

It looks like a person
that's floating through the air.

...to believe.

The next time you're in bed

for the evening,

last bump and creak you hear?

Chances are, it's just squeaks

from the furnace.

and that an uninvited entity has

strange sounds

or, like, when I'll go upstairs,

when we'll go upstairs
to go to bed,

like, I would hear, like,
something walking around.

I'm going down and I've decided
to videotape it

to have proof for my wife.

She doesn't believe me.

This guy seems
genuinely terrified

and when you see
this shadow figure

present itself from
around the corner

at the bottom of the stairs,
you can see why.

Seemingly, one of the most
common performances,

when it comes to shadow people,
is the "peek around,"

whether it be at the end
of a long hallway

or at the bottom of a staircase,

something literally peeks
around the corner,

makes itself shown just enough
to say, hey, something is there.

And once your attention
is on it,

or once the camera is fixed
on it, it ducks out of sight.

I just saw -- holy, man!

You're going down
the stairs and just see

this creature pop its head in
and out, that's pretty scary.

And I think, like, really,

shadow people
aren't really ghosts.

It's like some kind of
other entity,

some kind of,
you know, spiritual form.

Shadow people are different
from ghosts,

in that they were never
living people to begin with.

They're kind of
conscious entities

that exist on their own.

And sometimes
they manifest themselves

out of traumatic situations
or really negative energy.

It definitely
blew my mind,

to the point where I actually
moved my family

out of the house
within the next six months.

Jesse moved
with his family

into an old house
in nearby York,

where the odd activity
continued.

Just in our new house.

Uh, I moved, and tonight, I --
just stuff is happening.

My dog is acting nuts.

on top of the mantle.

Tell you the truth,
I didn't do a good job

looking for a new house,
'cause the house I bought,

it's old, and that house

just has ghosts
wandering around, like,

and, like, I seen them
with my own eyes.

it's been getting crazy.

When I walked into
the dining room,

I heard something hitting,
and I turned around

and I saw a little
picture moving.

And then, all of a sudden,
the damn thing

just came flying off at me.

flying out.

Shadow people tend to be
intelligent energies.

They can bind themselves
to people.

It's not like they're residual
energy, bound to a place.

So, if you have
an intelligent energy,

it can follow you home,
it could follow you anywhere.

So, let's say
your house is haunted

and you're dealing with shadow
people, like, you could move,

but the shadow people
are moving with you.

There's a great theory.

A lot of my colleagues
in the field

will say, you know, locations
aren't haunted, people are.

And, um, because you have
to be the right person

to perceive what's going on.

Take me and put me in the most
haunted room in the world,

I might not notice anything,
and then take somebody who's --

who's a little bit
more sensitive

and put them in a location,
and they're going experience

all kinds of things
that I haven't.

Regardless,
Jesse doesn't believe

the shadow person
from his old home

followed him to his current one.

I don't think it's the same one.

I, um -- I haven't seen
the shadow guy since then.

I had a paranormal investigating
team come over

and, um, there's a lady,
and she claims she's a psychic

and she was really helpful
and she said, look, these --

these ghosts, if they bother
you, tell 'em, you know,

this is your house now, "Leave."

And I tell you,
since they've come,

I really haven't had any issues.

Every haunting
is different.

Does this haunting come
with the house?

Is it connected to the family?

Is it connected
to the individual?

That's the question that remains
to be answered.

Perhaps the most
unsettling characteristic

of many documented UFO sightings
is their tendency to show up

at exactly the moment
you least expect.

Say, for example, you step
outside for a breather

after a long day at work,

looking to finally
turn your brain off,

when suddenly, without warning,
your eyes drift towards

a captivating sight
in the distance

that you cannot
wrap your head around.

What is that?

That's exactly what happened
to Matthew Bryant.

In September of 2018, Bryant,
a native of Bath, England,

was finishing up his day
at a local lumber shop with

a few of his coworkers.

That branched
off into two, innit?

That is bizarre.

And what he recorded
defied explanation.

One unidentified
aircraft became two

and those two flew together
in synchronicity,

as if putting on a show
specifically for Matthew.

What is that?

What we're looking at
here is footage of two UFOs

acting autonomously,
but yet, in unison.

That makes me believe that
this could potentially be, uh,

intelligent life, and controlled
by extraterrestrials.

That's what makes this footage
so compelling.

They seem to be dancing
with each other,

yet, there's no flight pattern,
per say.

They're independent
of each other.

They seem to be flying
with a will of their own

in a sort of pattern
of their own.

But the show
had only just begun.

What the hell is it?

Soon, one of the aircrafts
disappeared into thin air.

Ooh, it's disappearing, then.
See it?

It's disappeared.

And then,
a few moments later,

the remaining aircraft
began to emit

something even more curious.

That's fireworks.

Yeah, but fireworks
don't act like that.

Do they?

What the...

One of them
seems to explode

into this fireworks-like,
uh, pattern.

But I couldn't figure out what
we have here on Earth

that would act that way.

That's bizarre.

Fireworks don't act
like that.

They don't move down
and up, do they?

Eventually,
after lighting up the sky

for several minutes,
the one remaining aircraft

disappeared for good.

Just vanished.

That's bizarre.

We have many cases
of mystery lights

appearing over things like
military bases, airfields,

reservoirs, hydroelectric
plants, nuclear plants.

And can we dismiss those,
then, as just terrestrial craft,

or is there something about
those particular places

that intrigue otherworldly
visitors?

The activity that takes
place in this video

could be some sort of top-secret
government equipment.

Who knows what they're creating,
and they don't want

the general public to know
what they're working on.

There's all kinds of things that
have come out in the past years,

including the Stealth Bomber,

which was once thought
to be a UFO itself.

it's the investigator's job

to meticulously explore
a given location

for any hints of
the otherworldly.

But as ghost hunters'
Joe Cirigliano and Rob Bailey

found out one night, too much
curiosity can be dangerous.

Cirigliano and Bailey,

paranormal explorers
and natives of Tampa, Florida,

were investigating
an abandoned property

with a few colleagues
in July of 2017.

Hi, my name's Joe.

My name's Rob.
And I filmed this video.

Wow, look at
this place, guys.

Rob and I came across
this abandoned farm.

Now, we did some research
on this place,

and the only thing
that we could determine

that, at one time,
it was a farm,

but it was also, like,
some kind of

veterinary clinic
was there, as well.

We do know that,
at this point,

it's been sitting vacant
for at least five years.

It's actually
in the woods.

I mean, you have to drive like
a half-mile into the woods

just to get to this place.

- Is there anything in there?
- There's no one.

Nobody's in there.

When it comes to investigations,
especially when you have

groups coming together,
there's a lot of energy,

there's a lot of excitement,
there's a lot of,

"Hey, what are
we going to find?"

Some people are new,
some people are experienced.

There's a lot of interaction

that goes on,
and spirits take note.

First, the team
was searching a side room

at the abandoned property

when they unintentionally picked
up a sign of an entity.

We do hear what sounds like EVP.

While they're investigating,
you hear sort of,

underneath their conversations,
these little whispers.

It's like a filing cabinet
in front of it.

At one point,
you hear a name, "Joe."

Nobody reacts to it on video,

so they obviously
didn't hear it at the time.

Oftentimes,
I'll hear voices,

and I'll say, "Hey, I heard
somebody whisper my name.

I heard something."

Which, ironically, when we play
back the video, it's spot-on.

Got a filing cabinet
in front of it.

And it's really
unexplainable.

I don't understand
how it's there.

A more alarming
indication that the team

might've been dealing with
something truly otherworldly

happened later in the hunt

when Rob began to feel
not quite right.

CIRIGLIANO:I don't know
if you guys noticed this,

but Rob smells perfume over here
and he feels sick.

What are you feeling, brother?

Phantom smells are also very
common on investigations, too.

Um, a lot of the time,
you would get the perfumes

of what people used to wear
when they were alive,

things like that.

That's why it's very important
when you go on investigations

not to wear anything scented
or, you know, like lotions

or perfume
because phantom smells

is definitely a type
a phenomena that happens.

Just kind of dizzy.

Really nauseous.

When I started to feel...

I don't know how
to really explain it,

it sounds crazy,
but it's like --

like it's like kind of
a negative energy, heavy energy,

immediately I end up
getting sick.

My body reacting to it,
I don't know.

Um, I don't really know
what to think about it.

I'm worried about you, man.

Feeling sick during a ghost
investigation is nothing new.

Anyone that's done, you know,
a handful of investigations

can tell you that there are
times when you feel

physically ill,
you feel nauseous,

you feel light-headed or dizzy,
uh, fatigued.

I don't know what
the sickness is,

but it seems to be
correlated in some way

with paranormal activity.

This is actually
a belief that is cross-cultural.

The Navajos believed that
the dead can come back

and latch themselves
to living beings,

and ancient Chinese believed
that if somebody didn't get

a proper burial,
their spirit could come back

and cause illness
to their family.

So, there is a chance that
whatever was in that farmhouse

was doing that to this man.

But the most
frightening experience

for the team occurred
at the end of the evening

in the middle
of an EVP session

on a back room at the house.

that you see of ghosts, um,

uh, it's just a fleeting glimpse
or a shadow.

like a horror movie.

What they caught
on the camera

was some kind of,
like, white blur.

It really wasn't anything,
you know, that they captured,

that you could really tell
what it was,

whether it was human or inhuman.

Maybe it was an attack,
maybe it was just

an acknowledgement,
"Hey, I'm here."

But I've seen this before
where something happens

and it causes people to leave.

They don't -- they don't want
to further any aggression

by staying, so they get out.

Guys, go out

Fearing
the group was in danger,

Joe ushered everyone
out of the house.

And I, myself,
always feel responsible

for whomever comes with us.

I always want to make sure
that we're safe.

So, at that point, I'm telling
everybody to leave.

But despite the
potentially hazardous activity

they experienced that night,
Joe and Rob aren't deterred

from further investigating
the paranormal.

Rob and I never really set out
to be ghost hunters.

And I kind of come across
a theory in my own head

as to why
this happens to us.

One is that we're sensitive
to these things

for some odd reason.

But I think also, too,
it's because we both --

we both keep a faith
and we keep a positive attitude.

And I think sometimes,

when you bring light
into a dark situation,

sometimes that dark situation
doesn't like that.

was visiting his friend's family
ranch in nearby Maupin

when his friend's father
heard strange noises

coming from
the surrounding woods.

It was sort of around sunset and
we were hanging out in the barn.

And, uh, got a text
from my friend's dad,

that he was hearing noises.

So, we went over to the porch,
listened, and we heard,

like, howls in, like, intervals
for like two or three minutes.

And we look out
into the tree line,

and there's this big thing
walking.

- Where?
- It's right there.

I'm getting excellent
video of this.

I started freaking out.

We're all kind of in awe because
it's just right there.

- It's turning its head.
- Is it looking at us?

- Oh, it just turned back.
- It just turned.

- What is it?
- Whatever this is,

it seems too big to be a human,

so naturally,
we think of Bigfoot.

But there's something about
this one that's different.

It doesn't seem as shy
as the Bigfoots

that we've seen in the past,
it doesn't seem

to mind people watching it
and shinning lights toward it.

It just ambles along.

It's not in the woods,
it's out in an open field

where it can be seen
and documented.

Guys, do not
go towards it.

Now, the people
who see it are all,

"Oh, my God, what's that?
Don't go over there."

There's a definite panic,
so it's clearly not

just some other person
walking in the field.

It's foreign enough that
they're all taken aback by it.

I lost it.
Where is it?

Oh, there it is.
Keep the light on it.

You can't even comprehend
what you're looking at.

Because you hear of Bigfoot,

you only see, like,
a couple videos online.

Something like you see a head
or maybe an arm or something,

whereas we're looking
at this entire thing.

And, like, your mind
is just asking you

so many questions
that you can't even answer.

Like, is this thing real?

Does this mean
all those videos are real?

What is this thing trying to do?

And that wasn't
even the last encounter

Haggerty and his cohorts had
with the potential Bigfoot.

Two months later,
another creature

roamed the same stretch of land.

Oh, there it is.
I've seen this thing before.

- Dude, what is that?
- I saw it.

It started off
the same way.

We were hanging out
with my friend's family,

so there's probably
12 people there.

Oh, my God.
What is that?

Can someone get the flashlight?

There's this big,
black, hairy figure

and, uh, my friend's
dad's brother,

uh, yells out at him.

Hey!

Hey!

And it starts walking
towards us.

Hey!

Oh, that's
freaky.

Which is, like,
the most freakiest thing

I've ever experienced.

This isn't a game.

There are not
that many instances

of hostility in Bigfoots.

They're often seen in a retreat
from a witness.

They're shy and they like to,
uh, keep their distance.

Oh, my God.

If it is, in fact,
a Sasquatch-type creature,

it's not behaving
the way it should.

It almost behaves as if it's ill

or it's just attracting
attention,

rather than trying to avoid it.

All right, all right.

I was genuinely scared for
my life, like, honestly.

Uh, and I was scared
for everyone's safety,

because when something like
that's running at you,

like, you just go
into survival mode.

Eventually,
the creature wandered off again.

There was a couple
people that were trying

to debate whether we should
follow it or not,

and I was like, you don't want
to follow that thing after --

what that --
after what just happened.

My heart is
pounding right now.

But given the location
of the sightings,

there is no doubt that these
types of close encounters

will continue.

I've spent enough time
in the Pacific Northwest

to know that there are a lot of
Bigfoot-themed restaurants,

uh, stores, museums.

A lot of people believe
because it's just part

of their folklore, it's part of
the fabric of their culture.

I would imagine
many people

in Oregon and those states
have seen a lot of weird stuff,

but they probably
don't even tell anybody.

A lot of times,
people see these things,

and they don't want
to tell anybody.

They're afraid to, like,
actually admit

that they saw something
they can't explain.

Looking at this thing,
I mean, above 7 feet,

at least 400, 500 pounds,
like, walking in a field.

You're just in shock and awe.

Coming up,
a haunted hospital

with an entity that
will not rest in peace.

The emotions
surrounding hospitals

are as powerful and complicated

as the nature of
the institutions themselves.

They're at once places
of optimism,

where people
go to heal and recuperate.

But they are also places
of grief,

where even extraordinary efforts
to save a life are no guarantee.

And at one hospital
in Argentina,

the spirits of those
who have passed on

seem very much present.

I think, logically,
a hospital would be

fertile ground
for spiritual activity.

This is where people become
departed from their bodies,

where spirits leave
their human host.

Where they go from there,
perhaps, nowhere.

Perhaps, they stay there.

Evidence of this
may have been captured

at a hospital in
Rosario, Argentina,

during a quiet night
back in 2017,

when the facility's
security camera

captured a lone gurney
acting very peculiar.

I thought this video
was pretty freaky

because the gurney
doesn't really look like

it's moving because of
a slope in the ground

or, like, the wind.

It looked real to me.

That's your typical
poltergeist activity

that would move stuff around
haphazardly.

It would take a ton of energy

to move something like
a gurney around.

Those things are pretty heavy.

So, if this is an entity
that's actually moving this,

then it must be pretty powerful
to have that ability.

Later,
at the same hospital,

another gurney was seen
inexplicably moving,

only this time,
the security camera

was not the only witness.

There doesn't seem
to be any rationale

for why it's moving and the fact
that it moves so abruptly.

You can see that he was taken
by surprise by that.

His reaction to it makes me
think something is amiss here.

People like
to romanticize the idea

that a place needs to be old
to be haunted,

but when it comes to a hospital

that sees death every day,
even a modern hospital

can have types
of phenomena like this.

I've talked to a lot
of nurses and doctors

who have had experiences
in hospitals,

and they kind of keep it on the
down-low for obvious reasons.

But there's a lot of emotion
involved in hospitals

and a lot of tension.

And I believe that
these energies

and emotions can be imprinted
on a location.

In a place
so emotionally fraught,

is it possible that these
are not the only instances

of objects being moved
by an unseen force,

but just the ones
that have been seen?

Paranormal activity is
a 24/7 occurrence,

but the reason that
we don't often

observe it during the daytime
is because, during the day,

there's the hustle and bustle
of the hospital.

We're going about our jobs,
our lives,

we don't often have the focus to
see what's right in front of us.

But at night, it's quieter,
things are slower,

so when the activity
does present itself,

we're more apt to notice it.

We don't really know why
this particular gurney

would be flinging itself around
on the walkway.

What was it used for?

Was it used to carry bodies
to the morgue?

Might there be some sort of
spirit attachment to it?

Most often, when it comes
to poltergeist activity,

it's a spirit trying
to make contact.

Spirits just want
their stories told,

so what story is this spirit
trying to tell

by moving the gurney?

It's impossible to say,
but it's definitely

something that's trying
to get our attention.

it literally just looks like

that we're capable
of almost anything.

Allegedly.

But flying without
the aid of jet fuel?

It's simply not possible.

Or at least that's what we've
decided to tell ourselves.

A few recent sightings
may just turn that notion

on its head forever.

It literally just
looks like a person

that's floating through the air.

In February of 2016,
a man in Gardnerville, Nevada,

was outside with his friend
when he spotted something

odd in the distance
floating in the sky.

So, we were out here
throwing the football today

and we see this thing
floating through the air.

We have no idea what it is,

but it doesn't look like
an airplane or anything.

Based on what
he was seeing,

the man was forced to draw
an unlikely conclusion.

I mean, it literally
just looks like

a person's that's floating
through the air.

This video definitely
appears to be

a man flying in
an upright position.

Whoa.

Now, we've all seen people
flying with jet packs on,

and this figure kind of
has that posture,

but there is no jet pack.

So,, uh, what is it?

I don't know.

What it is
is just another example

of a particularly
remarkable sighting

known as a humanoid UFO.

This form flying
through the sky

is something
that has been reported

back to the 19th century.

We've seen reports
from the 1800s

that are very remarkably similar

to this one in the description
of the figure.

Whoa.

Now that people are
able to capture things, like,

with their cell phones,
we're able to see

all these different types
of shapes in the sky

and not just the typical,
like, 1950s idea

of, like, the flying saucer.

Another similar
strange incident took place

in 2019, in Milton, Ontario,
Canada, filmed by a passerby

named Marcin Eider.

and I was the guy
behind the video.

It wasn't like
a solid object, right,

you can see through it
a little bit.

It was definitely not a drone,
not balloons.

They don't --
They don't fly like that.

It was moving smooth, like,
not up and down, nothing.

It was just like constantly
just moving in one pace.

So, it looks like we
have a flying humanoid.

And the guy filming it is like,
"What the heck is this?

What am I seeing?
Is it an alien?

Is it an interdimensional being?

Are they legit, like,
flying people?"

That's, of course, up for
an interesting debate.

This is a fully
suspended figure.

There doesn't seem to be
any propulsion.

It's not flapping its wings
like other creatures

that use the air to,
uh, buoy them through,

uh, the -- the atmosphere.

Um, that's a tough one,
tough to figure out

just what would be
holding this --

this form up in midair
like that.

I was just looking at it,
and the closer it got, like,

it kind of looked like a UFO,
the way it was flying.

It was just weird, like.
I had no clue what it was.

Whatever these things are,
it does challenge our opinion

and our view on what
a UFO actually is.

They're no longer the flying
discs or the black triangles.

They're now, you know, humanoid
shapes floating through the air

at 2,000 or 3,000 feet.

If we look at
the human advancement of

what we've created as vehicles
for the human race

and, you know,
the difference between

a buggy being pulled by horses,
to, like, the Tesla,

like, it's completely
different, you know,

and that only happened in a span
of, like, 100 years, you know.

Like, our crafts are evolving
and changing shape

Who's to say that, you know,

alien crafts are not
doing the same thing?

Or is it conceivable
that these objects

aren't an advancement
in alien technology at all,

but some kind of evolution of
mankind's own innate abilities?

ESP, telekinesis, levitation.

Is it possible that we,
as human beings,

can do this sort of thing,

can levitate in the air
and fly?

The average person says no,

but I will allow for

a very small percentage
of that unknown,

those parts of the brain that
we don't quite understand yet,

the abilities that
we haven't unlocked

or, over time, have lost.

Is it possible?
Yes.

Unlikely?

terrifying creature

you've probably never heard of.

Most people seem to be
aware of the purported existence

of a few specific cryptids.

A majority know about Bigfoot,
the Loch Ness Monster,

and probably even
the Chupacabra,

but there is one little-known
mythical beast

that is arguably more savage,
more ghastly,

more positively evil
than the rest --

the Wendigo.

- What is that?

In Algonquian folklore,

the Wendigo is an evil spirit
that possesses humans

and turns them into these
animallike creatures

that are cannibalistic
and can also mimic

the voice of a loved one

to trick you into
coming closer to them.

It's described
as a malevolent,

almost zombie-like entity

that can not only devour you,
but has the option

of making you a Wendigo, too.

Sometimes death would be
a better option, I would think.

The Indians told very
graphic and gruesome tales

of what they might do to people
if they encountered them.

One of those graphic
and gruesome tales

includes the story
of Swift Runner,

a Cree Indian,
who, in 1879,

murdered and cannibalized
his wife and five children

while claiming that
he was possessed

by the spirit of a Wendigo.

If only Kenneth Collins
of Portland, Oregon,

and his friends had heard these
legends prior to the night

of January 1, 2014,

when they explored what they
thought was an abandoned house.

This guy did make the
right decision by running away,

because they do kind of eat
people, which is not good.

I don't want to be eaten
by a Wendigo.

I've always said that.

by a Wendigo.

That's one of the only things
that I truly, truly know.

I love the lore
behind Wendigos.

It's so dark
and it goes to like,

the dark aspects of humankind.

You know, like the things that
we would resort to as beings

when we're in desperation
for food.

And Wendigos are kind of like
the human demonic embodiment

of a person that has to resort
to cannibalism.

While Wendigo lore
has traditionally come

from North America, one man in
Ukraine believes he, too,

may have recently encountered

one of these terrifying
creatures.

Just when you think it couldn't
get any scarier in Ukraine,

next thing you know, they got to
deal with a Wendigo.

That is horrifying news for all
the people who live in Ukraine.

Hello, my name is Eugene,

and I took this video
on my phone.

It looked
something like

the Creature from
the Black Lagoon.

You see these two white eyes

just peek up from
under the bridge.

Even when you stop it,
it really looks like

there's no shape or form.

So, I don't really know,
you know,

how to explain what this is.

Wendigos are generally

North American legends
by nature,

but, um, Ukraine's not
that different

of a habitat -- climate.

So, if they exist in one place,

it's not out of the possibility

for them to also exist
elsewhere.

But was it actually
a Wendigo that Eugene saw?

A lot of people are saying that this is a Wendigo-type creature,

but to me, it looks
more reminiscent

of these goblin-type creatures
that have been reported

out of Appalachia, you know,

Kentucky, West Virginia,
that area.

You have cases like in
Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

In the 1950s, a family living on
a farm was under siege.

It's called the
Kelly-Hopkinsville Goblin Case.

Like 30 of these things
attacked this cabin.

They shot --
There's bullet holes

in the walls and everything.

They don't have
a clue what it is.

The cops came,
did an investigation,

like, there's nothing here,
left.

And the damn things came back
as soon as the cops left.

Whatever Eugene
saw that day,

Wendigo, goblin, or otherwise,

he has no interest in going back
for another look.

Whatever it is,
it's downright terrifying.

The fact that something
like that

could be living down there
is just spooky.
