four weeks already without being in front of

a camera and I have barely entered Patreon

so I apologize if I have not responded

to all the emails and all the stories

but the fact is that I have taken

these vacations and in this video I would

I began to be quite, quite afraid of

flying to Mexico, it is not because it

because everything that is to leave my country

and in this case we left with my

wife, with Erika, and with the little one,

with Leo, Leo is two and a half

years old, imagine what it means to go

to another country with a dwarf, take health

measures, everything that entails, we even forgot that

I was alone in Mexico, but of course,

the trip to Mexico was a vacation that

we already had to have gone in 2020,

visit both Vallarta, like Guadalajara, like Cancun and

of course through Mexico City, which was like

four workshops and against all odds a wedding

that came out at the last moment, I

mean, when I say at the last moment,

we were on a Thursday so calm on

the beach and we found out that I

only had to photograph a wedding on Saturday,

a little bit about the holidays because the

truth is that we enjoyed them as we

never did for a long time that we

is that at least I enjoyed it a

lot to be able to enjoy a little

the camera and both the Fuji x 100

and the 850 I took them there and

well we went a little bit because I

was photographing a little bit because moments so

fun of the family and we were good

I was having a great time as a

dwarf, I can also enjoy something that I

have very little time left to say in

this week, not with all the voracity of

Patreon, weddings and workshops, there is a type

of photography that I love, which is landscape

photography and in Mexico I was able to

enjoy it, I don't know if because of

jet lag, but the question is that there

was some other day that I got up

because when it was about to dawn to

enjoy the landscape photography, which is something that

I continue to love and that since I

started with photography, it is something that I

have always liked because of losing myself, going

to a mountain, going to a beach, going

to the Montenegrin desert to enjoy photography as

such, it is something that I have always

liked and in Mexico, of course, I took

advantage of it, of course, as I have

told you, I had four workshops, the first

in Mexico City, in which if there is

a point in common in all the workshops

is that this time in Mexico, in the

four workshops, I could not get all the

material that I would have wanted to get,

I don't know if I was unlucky with

the locations, perhaps the thing is that the

pandemic limited a lot, not to be able

to go to one location or to be

able to go to another, but hey, I

had a first workshop in Mexico City, I

managed to bring together 18 people, then I

had another workshop in Cancun, in the same

place, or I did the workshop in the

same place that I did it last October,

in Cancun, I don't know what happened in

Cancun, bastards, that six or seven students had,

well, they couldn't come because of the COVID

issue, it was a piece of pain, but

hey, there we were with a session and

the session, the truth is that it cost

me more than normal, because I shot again

where I had already photographed or where I

had already given a couple of workshops last

October, with which to imagine that it means

going to the same place to photograph a

session in the same location, with which I

had to get oil from where there was

none, but hey, we enjoyed it.

I also gave another workshop in Puerto Vallarta,

and in Puerto Vallarta everything went very well,

I think it has been the place, or

one of the most beautiful places in which

I have given the workshop, I am talking

about my colleagues, Juan Carlos and Melissa, they

were the ones who attended me or sheltered

me to give the workshop in their house,

that is, they have an amazing house on

the shore of what is the ocean, that

is, amazing, the thing is that when we

were about to give the practice or to

do the practical session, we found out that

the couple could not come, the couple to

photograph the session, I said what the hell

is happening in this tour in Mexico, because

with all the couples something happened, with all

the locations something happened, and I had to

ask Melissa and Juan Carlos to pose for

me, they were not ...

well, I mean, Melissa wanted to, but Juan

Carlos I had to kneel literally so that

he would finally cheer up, right?

Well, we did a one-hour session and

it a bit, I managed to show a

little how I work both with hard lights

and with flash, although soon I understood that

Mexico is not one of those countries in

which I should go there to talk about

flash, because about flash I think there is

a school of great photographers, such as Cristian

Macías, such as Bárbara Torres, such as Jorge

Romero, and speaking of Jorge Romero, he is

a great colleague from Guadalajara, also Guadalajara, a

city in which I gave a workshop, and

I also had problems with the couple and

with the location, well, problems in the sense

that the couple was half deceived and the

location was on a normal and ordinary street,

of course, I suppose that for the students

that can be good, because they realize the

effort that I have to make to get

something interesting out of a place without any

photographic interest, right?

But Jorge, I mean, Jorge Romero, whom I

have to thank from the bottom of my

heart, how he behaved with me, who, like

Melissa and Juan Carlos, came to the airport

for us, and in the case of Jorge

Romero, in this case, he was worried about

getting us a place to teach the workshop,

he took us to eat in several typical

Mexican places, he took care of us, I

mean, I only have good words for a

character like him, who, in addition to being

a great photographer, is a great human being,

and well, he said, I mean, when he

finished the practical session and when he finished

the workshop, well, as I started with my

tea, he told me, hey, man, I'm sorry,

I'm sorry, man, I took you to a

very ugly place to take pictures, the couple

was not the best, I say, hey, man,

have gratitude for you, and well, and sometimes

the workshops in Europe are not in beautiful

places, I mean, the practical sessions are not
