We made this video in the beautiful city of Concepción, Chile.

I had the chance to participate in an event called Magia.

A great congress

that was very good for me in many aspects.

One of those aspects was

to accept that I have to slow down on the massive talks.

I feel more comfortable in the workshops

and making videos for you, guys.

I have realized that I have to stop

these presentations for 20, 30, 40 or 100 people

where I had to execute something and improvise.

I think part of growing and maturing is realizing that

no matter how hard you try things,

when you don't see this strength to improve,

you have to say: stop.

I think sharing the few things I know

in a more direct and humane way,

-no need to put on a show or make people cry-

it has reached its point, it is time to stop.

And within all that event

I had the opportunity to do a small workshop.

We did this magical session with Jaca & Randa.

Their photo company is called Jacaranda

and I changed their names.

They are Mariana and Gastón.

Amazing guys. They do family portrait

in beautiful Argentina.

We were there with them and it was amazing.

They had already been to Mexico

to try to take photos with me.

I mean, they didn't just come to that but

they called me and we couldn't match the dates or the time,

but we had the chance to do it this time

and add this pressure to make photos in front of more photographers.

You know that whenever you have the chance to be

in an uncomfortable place,

that you feel that it is not natural for you:

GO FOR IT. DO IT.

Because the result will be different...

many times the result will be less than what you expect.

But adding a little pressure to any situation,

makes us have different results.

And yes, many times we will be missing something

and some others we will stay halfway...

But it is worth trying.

This workshop was in a very generic hotel.

We were talking at lunchtime,

we left the room

and there were these blue lights that caught my eye.

While we were at lunchtime I saw how those lights hit people,

how it bounced off the wall,

and I thought: "we can use this tool".

We went out and...

as always, when you have to execute the action you are left blank.

I freeze.

It happened the same with them.

20 photographers come after you

and you have to try to take interesting photos.

Adventure awaits us...

to illuminate faces.

to take different photos without them moving so much.
