The great thing about getting to know...
What is amazing about get in a new place
is that everything amazes you.
This is an abandoned house. Full of textures,
with smells that -thanks God- are not in the photos.
A dude came out from nowhere...
Oh, sorry sir.
Was there a man?
We got a little scared but he was a great man, to be honest.
We went room by room seeing the details on each of them.
We found an old piano in one of the rooms
and we played there.
There was also a green room, for me it was like
the movie "Great Expectations". With this amazing "pastel green" color.
And little by little we started to see the light entries,
Mr. Sun came out and dazzled us.
We played a bit with the shadows,
the hard shadows on Almendra's face.
And an obvious element such as garbage, or paper on the floor
can help you to recreate a photo.
In this productions we were several hands
and everybody grabbed the papers and
papers began to fly.
This was one of those images that I consider it as iconic
because I remember the moment, not just the final photo
but also the effort we did grabbing all those dirty papers
and throw them at the same time.
It was something amazing.
The idea is to be true to your style.
Get inspired by the place you are in,
and always give yourself those 5 minutes to explore.
To be confident to ask your model or your couple:
"Give me 2 or 5 minutes, I want to see
the chances that I have to create here."
