[Love of Petals]

[Episode 17]

[Flower Goddess' Celestial Mansion]

Where am I?

This is your celestial mansion.

Celestial mansion?

Yes,

Flower Goddess.

You have just ascended to one of the Twelve Main Gods.

So, naturally, this is your celestial mansion.

Who am I?

You are the Flower Goddess, Fairy Liuli.

Fairy Liuli?

Flower Goddess?

Yes.

How could I have forgotten?

I'm now the Flower Goddess Liuli,

the head of the Twelve Main Gods,

supreme over

both heaven and earth.

Oh, Flower Goddess,

all the other immortals are waiting outside

to congratulate you.

Let me help you dress.

But...

why do I feel like

something is missing in my heart?

Congratulations to Fairy Liuli, the Flower Goddess, on your ascension to the Twelve Main Gods.

Fellow immortals,

please rise.

Flower Goddess,

this is a Cold Jade Cup that I've spent hundreds of years refining.

Congratulations on your ascension to the Twelve Main Gods.

I humbly await your esteemed presence.

Qin Shan,

how thoughtful of you.

Congratulations, Flower Goddess.

Congratulations, Flower Goddess.

Since you've all come to my Flower Goddess Realm,

there's no need for formalities.

Please enjoy the food

and drinks.

Flower Goddess Liuli,

the head of the Twelve Main Gods,

who commands the highest reverence in all realms

and has forsaken all worldly attachments...

Yet why do I keep having

this unforgettable and melancholic feeling

in my heart?

Flower Goddess,

a man claiming to be your old acquaintance

has rushed in without permission

and demanded to see you.

An old acquaintance?

I'm afraid someone

is intentionally trying to disrupt this celestial banquet.

Bring him to me.

Yes.

Flower Goddess,

I've brought the person over.

Who are you?

How dare you falsely claim

to be an old acquaintance of mine?

Flower Goddess,

do you really not recognize me?

Do you know the punishment for trespassing at a celestial banquet?

Guards!

Take him to the celestial prison!

That won't be necessary.

Flower Goddess, if you want to take me,

I'll surrender without a fight.

There's no need to send others.

Flower Goddess.

I found a pouch

with this inside.

Do you recognize it?

Flower Goddess!

Flower Goddess.

This person is deranged,

injuring our celestial soldiers all along the way.

I shall

execute him here for you.

Stop!

This bracelet

can protect your hands from harm.

Forgetting is more terrifying than separation by death.

As long as there's someone you like in your heart,

you're happy, after all.

Do you really think so?

Perhaps it's because I've come to this mortal world

that I've truly understood the preciousness of love.

Master...

Come with me.

I'll get you out of here.

Fairy!

Here, you are one of the Twelve Main Gods,

the Flower Goddess Liuli.

Once you leave this place,

all of this will cease to exist.

Everything you have

will be gone.

In a world without Master...

I truly have nothing.

Fortunately,

we both made it out.

Master.

So, the person I saw in the illusion just now

was really you.

I lost you again in the Misty Forest,

but luckily I found the pouch you dropped.

Following this direction,

I arrived at the Moon-Gazing Well.

I knew you were determined to become a flower fairy,

so I thought

I should enter your illusion to find you.

I see.

I see.

Your Excellency, why do you

look a bit upset?

Yuxiao.

Behind this door lies your heart's desire.

Master.

Open it.

Is that you, Master?

Face your inner self.

Master, where are you? Master!

Master.

The Luowei Flower Seed...

should have been mine all along.

You shouldn't have passed it on to someone else.

Why is he here?

Why is it him?

And now he has the nerve to come here.

The previous Flower Goddess, Jiang Li, had gone under suspicious circumstances.

He's just a temporary replacement.

He never received the hereditary Luowei Flower Seed

of the Flower God.

Indeed.

He doesn't even have the Luowei Flower Seed.

What kind of Flower God is he?

-At best, he's a joke. -Shut up.

Look at him,

still acting all noble.

He only got the position of Flower God

because of Jiang Li.

Shut up.

Isn't that right?

Shut up.

Some King of Flowers, huh?

Shut up. Shut up.

Shut up! All of you, shut up!

Junior,

this is the Luowei Flower Seed you've been looking for.

The flower seed...

The flower seed...

But it was never meant to be yours...

Junior,

this is the Luowei Flower Seed you wanted.

This is the Luowei Flower Seed you've been looking for.

Junior,

this is the Luowei Flower Seed you've been looking for.

But it was never meant to be yours.

It was never meant to be yours.

But it was never meant to be yours.

The Luowei Flower Seed...

Immortal Yuxiao,

is this what you want?

Your Excellency, did you

just now also enter

my illusion?

I am already the Flower God.

I have long since abandoned all emotions and desires.

Even though I entered the Moon-Gazing Well,

it couldn't trap me.

How could there be an illusion?

Immortals are really dull.

Theoretically,

we've all escaped the illusion

and reached the other shore.

But where is the Red Spider Lily?

Look.

Master,

Your Excellency,

does this mean we've passed the test?

Master.

Red Spider Lily.

I can finally save you.

Why?

Why did she appear in my illusion?

Why do I always feel...

You smell it too.

Master,

it smells like deer blood.

Wushuang couldn't be here, could she?

How could Wushuang come here?

Come quickly and take a look.

Wushuang?

Wushuang?

Wushuang?

Wushuang?

Wushuang!

[Qingcheng Flower Nursery]

How is she?

Her pulse is erratic.

Beyond her visible wounds,

I'm afraid she has internal injuries as well.

We must immediately infuse her with spiritual power.

Otherwise, her life is in danger.

Wushuang.

She's just experienced the stagnation of spiritual energy within her body.

She's out of danger now.

Thank you, Your Excellency.

-Master. -Wushuang.

Why did you go to the Misty Forest?

I...

I was worried about you.

How foolish.

If anything happened to you,

how could I ever be at ease?

How did you get hurt?

I...

I only remember

going to pick the rosary pea.

Everything after that is a blank.

Wushuang! Wushuang!

You're hurt?

How serious are your injuries?

Who hurt you?

I'll go make them pay right now!

I'm sorry.

I was in a hurry,

so I forgot to knock.

I saw the door was open,

so I just came in.

It's alright.

So, are your injuries...

serious or not?

I've forgotten so many things.

I can't remember.

Go make them pay?

With your combat skills, you protect me?

I'm sorry.

It's all my fault.

I'm so useless.

Not at all.

Look at me now.

I'm still in one piece, aren't I?

I'll be better after a few days of rest.

Wushuang.

I know you're strong and brave,

but

I hope that in the future,

you could... you could be more careful, please?

Please don't let yourself get hurt again.

The poem says

red beans symbolize deep longing.

It must be a precious gift.

I picked this in the Misty Forest.

For you.

This is...

for me?

You don't like it?

I like it! I like it!

I like it.

Wushuang.

Do you...

know the meaning of the rosary pea?

No.

Then...

when you were in the Misty Forest...

did you miss me?

No.

I only remember

things before picking

the rosary pea,

and everything after that is forgotten.

Then why did you

pick the rosary pea for me?

You gave me bellflowers,

so I gave you the rosary pea.

Regardless of the reason,

this...

is the most precious gift

I have ever received.

It's just reciprocation.

As long as you like it.

I like it.

I really do.

According to legend,

Red Spider Lilies grow on

the opposite shores of the River of Forgetfulness.

The flower and its leaves never meet

for all eternity.

After you enter the Red Spider Lily Barrier,

time will freeze.

You'll be able to see everything outside from within,

but we

won't be able to hear

or see you.

However, as long as you stay within the Red Spider Lily Barrier

and maintain your current state,

you can preserve your condition

and won't die for now.

Meanwhile, Qingcheng and I

will find a way to save you as soon as possible.

Your Excellency, I wouldn't dare trouble you

to go to such lengths for me.

Master,

I will do everything in my power

to find a way to save you.

Lyu Gengyun,

I know you don't trust me now,

because while entering the barrier is easy,

leaving is difficult.

It requires the aid of immortal magic.

So,

you must trust me now,

as this is currently the only way.

Whether I enter the Red Spider Lily or not

has nothing to do with others.

It only matters what my heart wants.

Both in this mortal world and in the heavenly realm,

there are still many things I can't let go of.

Qingcheng.

Promise me that,

no matter the outcome,

you must not harm yourself,

nor force things,

and most importantly, don't

abandon your pursuit of immortality for my sake.

If you become an immortal,

you'll become the second immortal...

I've ever come to like.

The first one

is the Immortal Qingluan?

Oh, right,

and Ye You.

You must promise me

that, no matter what happens,

you can't run away,

and you definitely can't give up.

Okay.

Alright.

Let's begin.

♫How can we predict the separation and reunion?♫

♫I'm obsessed with you in every life♫

♫Can you recall the traces of our bond?♫

♫How do you see through the means of fate?♫

♫The mortal world is our chess board and we have some regrets♫

♫Longings are blooming all over the lake again♫

♫Time can solve all problems♫

♫But it just stands by♫

♫I'm willing to use all my courage♫

♫For the happiness of the next life♫

♫For you♫

♫I'm willing to keep searching with joy and sorrow♫

♫With you♫

♫It's never too late as long as we are together♫

[Red Spider Lily Barrier]

♫In dreams, fleeting as flowers, may we turn and look back♫

♫Spring returns, and our reunion shining bright at last♫

♫A path home, paved with petals so grand♫

♫I know you're waiting on the other end♫

♫Just as I have wished♫

Master...

♫For you♫

Take care of yourself.

♫I'm willing to keep searching with joy and sorrow♫

♫With you♫

♫It's never too late as long as we are together♫

♫In dreams, fleeting as flowers, may we turn and look back♫

♫Spring returns, and our reunion shining bright at last♫

♫A path home, paved with petals so grand♫

♫I know you're waiting on the other end♫

♫Just as I have wished♫

♫Just as I have wished♫

Aren't you most afraid of sunlight?

I'll help block it all out.

Now you're not exposed to the sun anymore, right?

Master,

can you hear me?

Do you see the little umbrella I made for you?

I can't let Qingcheng struggle alone.

There's no one to disturb me within the barrier.

It's most conducive to cultivation.

If I can repair myself a bit,

it might give her more peace of mind.

Come take a look.

Come and have your fortune told.

Wushuang,

don't worry.

The Flowers Immortal Lord

has already helped Mr. Lyu enter the Red Spider Lily.

I believe Mr. Lyu will be fine soon.

But I still have a bad feeling about this.

You

just worry too much.

You should take some time to relax a bit.

There are only a few days left before the Floral Competition ends!

Hurry up if you want to place your bets!

The final round of the Floral Competition is about to begin.

Everyone wants to seize this chance

to do more business.

Buy a string of rosary pea seeds from me

and find your soulmate at the Floral Competition!

Gentlemen,

buy a string, won't you?

The more you wager, the more you'll earn!

Didn't you tell me

that what I gave you was the most precious gift?

But they're selling them all over the streets.

So it's clearly not that precious after all.

I truly know little of the mortal world's ways.

You don't need to laugh at me.

Just give it back to me.

Look,

I've already made a bracelet with it.

Now I can't return it to you.

Wushuang.

Its preciousness...

is not in its value,

but in the fact that...

you gave it to me.

T-There's only one in the world.

Rosary peas!

Come and buy some rosary peas!

Miss!

I'm hungry.

Would you like to buy a string of rosary pea seeds?

Let's go eat.

Give it to your beloved.

Rosary peas!

What would you like to eat?

-Take a look. -Choose whatever you like.

[Qingcheng Flower Nursery]

Are these enough?

Three...

Is this about right?

Four...

Good morning.

Good morning.

Good morning.

During this time,

thank you for taking care of the flower nursery.

It's no trouble at all.

We

are also a part of this flower nursery.

-This is all part of our duty. -Yeah.

At this time,

you've been

worrying so much about the Moonlight Peony

and Master

that you haven't gotten proper rest.

We

also want to share your burden as much as we can.

Thank you.

Let's go.

♫The dimming lamp still yearns for the moon by the door♫

♫The tea has cooled, yet I still recall that night♫

♫A lifetime of love, carried by one heart alone♫

♫Gone in the blink of an eye♫

♫No escape from illusion's end♫

Master,

♫Vermilion marks, silver bells, and a flowing robe—lost to sight♫

I will quickly find a way to cure you.

Then you can come back.

♫A crimson-stained sword holds a single thought♫

Master,

I really want to see you soon.

♫With one thought, I am lost to the dark♫

If only...

♫From that moment, my soul drifts astray♫

I could see you.

♫Leaving me alone to wander this vast world♫

♫Beneath the Stone of Three Lives, we vowed never to meet again♫

♫The vows of youth have long faded from memory♫

♫Three lifetimes, three fates—forgotten once reborn♫

♫Only the memory of that final glance remains♫

♫Who is playing that profound zither tune, the melody is too faint to hear clearly♫

The Red Spider Lily

is the flower of longing,

♫Who sighs softly as my drunken dreams fade?♫

standing guard alone by the river of time

to guide lovers.

♫What does life rely on?♫

When it meets lovers cruelly separated,

♫And death, too, stretches on without end♫

it tells them

that love, like water, can erode even the hardest stone.

♫Thousands of cups, all poured in tribute to the departed♫

As long as you firmly believe,

you will eventually reunite on the far shore.

♫Beneath the Stone of Three Lives, we vowed never to meet again♫

Even without the Red Spider Lily to guide us,

♫The vows of youth have long faded from memory♫

we will

find our way back to each other in this life.

I hope

♫Three lifetimes, three fates—forgotten once reborn♫

that in this life,

I will never be separated from you again, Master.

♫All I ask for is one last glance of love♫

♫Beneath the Stone of Three Lives, we vowed never to meet again♫

♫The vows of youth have long faded from memory♫

♫Three lifetimes, three fates—forgotten once reborn♫

♫What haunts me is the curve of your face♫

♫A love severed in this life, yet bound for three more♫

[What can one do before the Bridge of Helplessness? Before the Stone of Three Lives, three lives are ordained.]

[The red spider lilies bloom on both shores as the vine of sorrow entwines the breaking heart.]
