I hope everyone is doing as well as

possible, well, welcome to another chapter.

In this chapter I am not going to

entertain myself much in presentations because, remember that

this is the second episode of the video

that we dedicate to talk about the pre

-wedding session that we did in the month

of July.

I recommend that before you watch this video,

stop for a second to see the previous

video in which you will be able to

see how we explain the issue of the

pre-wedding, how we solved it, how we

chose the location, how we played with the

couple, how I tried to convince the couple

so that we could do the session in

a place that was the one they wanted,

which was the one on the beach, but

that there was something around the beach so

that they could help me play as we

do with the lines and with all this.

In today's video I want to focus, only

and exclusively, on how we work three of

the best images we made.

Remember that in the previous video we explained

a couple of images, but hey, I was

a little fast, so in this video I

am going to dedicate a little more time

to explain in detail.

The first image of all that I want

to talk about, for me I think it

was the best, it was the one that

I had the most fun with, because it

was all full of lines and everything full

of little things, and in fact we had

already been working for an hour and a

half, with which the couple was already super

super calm, relaxed and it was perfectly in

line with everything that we were asking for.

Well, the image I'm talking about is this

one, and as you can see, I was

clearly concerned that each little head, both of

Asier and Julia, would be perfectly in each

of the frames that I wanted for the

composition to work.

Notice that if we start talking about lines,

notice that everything could be divided into master

lines, in which the fence forms or is

a product or are part of what I

am talking about.

First of all, I found the place almost

by pure chance, despite the fact that, as

I explained in the first video, I knew

the place, or the environment, I knew it

quite well.

Once we finished with the photos that we

took on the beach, when we finished with

the port, I asked the couple that before

we entered the little town, well, let's take

a little walk.

In all sessions, in all pre-weddings, we

always leave something a little bit that comes

out a little spontaneously, that comes out a

little bit that is the fruit of luck,

and this photo is still the fruit of

that, of spontaneity or luck, of giving us

time, both them and me, and taking time

to take a walk, check a place, check

another, and finally, I told them, hey, let's

go down a second here, let's see what

we find.

Many of the times, I say that, many

of the times we do not find anything,

and I tell the couple, guys, I'm sorry,

there is nothing, but this time I said,

hey, yes, let's see how we find something,

and I already told them, I say, it

is likely that we will invest a little

more time in this one, so please calm

down and let me do a few things

around here.

So, how is that?

First, I was telling the couple, first I

told Julia to stand there, then I told

Sier to stand here, then I changed the

set and I told them that the other

way around, that later, no.

What I want to make clear, and what

I have said so many times, that for

me, at the moment that I am photographing

a couple, is that it is still two

elements in which you have to interact with

them, and of course with the environment, as

you already know, the environment that I like

to play is always an environment with lines,

with perspectives, that allows me to get a

little more out of the game.

So then it was that, it was not

to lose a second and tell them what

I wanted at all times.

More or less when I thought that the

photo was almost ready, or that I was

already sure what the set was, or what

was the idea that I wanted to carry

out, I simply told Sier to stand here,

and what I was clearly concerned about was

that her head and her body were perfectly

fitted, and above all that both Sier's head,

in this case, and Julia's head, for example,

I was worried that they would not touch,

that is, that they would not touch lines.

For that, I clearly explained my idea to

them, I told them that it was a

matter of millimeters, and I told them, above

all, what I needed from them, and that

when I said that, for example, Sier should

be placed in a place, I needed her

not to move, because for me it was

essential that the lines that surrounded Sier, in

this case the railing or the fence, that

did not touch neither him nor her, so

that the lines would work perfectly, and as

you are seeing in these videos, the thing

did not end, or the photo did not

end, until everything was perfect, and the result

that you are seeing is this, as I

was telling you, one of my favorite photos.

Ok, let's go for the second image, and

we already change a third, well, not a

third, we change everything, because in my sessions,

mentally, when I am working, the first thing

I think is always, ok, if in this

photo I place the couple together, and I

am filling the plane, for example, it is

a closed portrait, in the next photo I

want the rhythm to be completely different, I

mean, if in one photo I am using

a closed shot, in the other it will

be an open shot, if in one of

the images the couple comes out together, that

is, they are kissing, in the other image

I will make them not kiss, I mean,

I am trying to break the rhythm constantly,

because if all the images were the same,

I mean, the couple kissing, in the end

it would be repetitive, it would be like

more of the same, and it would be

the same photos constantly, and as you know,

that makes me bored, and it does not

seem to me that it has so much

strength, also, if we are making a report

that everything is posed, everything is totally directed,

as you can see, at a given moment,

of course, if everything is directed and everything

is the same, in the end it may

be boring for the couple, and of course

for me, and of course for the viewer,

and as you know, I always try to

look for the spark, or that energy so

that the viewer and the couple, of course,

when they see their photos, do not find

them boring, and of course, do not do

it quickly with the mouse like that, and

that the session is over, but I am

looking for it.

Well, speaking of this photo, I just asked

them, that is, the sun was just rising,

it was dawning, it was the only moment,

the atmosphere was super clean, the air was

incredible, the sky still had a set of

clouds, and it still maintained that cold color

temperature, so the sun was giving it that

contrast so interesting, and I just decided to

do something that I do not usually do

often, the first thing is to use a

super open diaphragm, the diaphragm that I used

was 1.8, and I did not want

to do the same work as some photographers,

but this image reminds me in a certain

way, that is, keeping the distances to a

Canadian photographer, who has an incredible job, his

name is Gabe McInlock, and well, Gabe is

characterized by doing sessions or at the last

hour of the day, always working with very

open diaphragms, with idyllic landscapes, and at that

time it did not seem to me that

it was an option to consider, shooting with

a 1.8 diaphragm, I also know that

the 35mm 1.8, when I am opening

the diaphragm to 1.8, as you are

seeing, what happens is that it is going

to vignette and it is going to create

an air, that is, a very very interesting

mood in the photo, and the time has

come, that when I had that, I already

asked the couple to stand very close, but

above all I asked them, please, not to

close their eyes, that is, to keep a

look down, that above all they made me

feel or that it seemed that they were

feeling a great moment, that is, of peace,

above all, it is like the photo was

asking me that, since it was dawn, we

were not talking about hard lights and doing

something super crazy, but quite the opposite, a

softer photo, and above all, I told them

that for me it was something very very

important in which when they kissed that they

did not get to do it, that it

was the right time, and that is something

that I learned since I went, well, that

I dedicated myself to wedding photography, when I

ask the couple to kiss, that the time

does not come for them to touch each

other, since if the spectator or the people

who are going to see this image can

think, well, a thousand stories and also the

concept or the image that I want to

transmit or the essence that I want to

transmit is that it is something that is

about to happen, that is, that it has

not happened, that that action is not finished,

it is saving the distances, talking about something

else, it is not like when we capture

a real moment, the real moment is great,

it is fabulous, it is the moment before

it happens or the moment after it happens,

because when I am making a pose, I

try that it is similar, that it is

the moment prior to what the kiss is,

so I was with them and that's it.

Many of the times I play with my

hands, for me the hands that, well, it

is not the case of this image, but

I always ask the couple and especially her

to play with her hands, to play a

little with her chin, to feel the caress,

but not so abruptly as I am doing,

but simply with a little finger that is

noticeable and this, at the same time that

I am saying that they do not touch

each other when they kiss, I also tell

her that this little finger or that hand

is about to touch him or almost almost

in this or that he just plays, if

not, I just tell her either to put

her two hands on his chest or I

just ask her to hug him to create

a connection, remember that for me the hands

are something fundamental and it would be a

bit ugly, just lacking information, that they

were not connected by the hands, okay?

And to finish, I would like to talk

to you about this image that well, both

Erika and I have really interesting images and

I think it was one of the last

photos we took and the sun was already

hitting, hitting well, people were already noticing that

they were already walking to the beach with

their towels and with stories, so we already

understood that the report was already ending because

one of the missions was that people did

not appear but hey, going back to the

environment, I loved it, I mean, how I

loved to find myself in an environment that

could be played first both with the light

and with the lines, not with the arches

that were there, that is, remember that it

is not necessary to have straight lines to

play simply geometric shapes and these arches worked

perfectly first because they helped me, second because

of the light so interesting that knife entered

there and third because I could find something

interesting with the neutral background and in short,

well, to highlight the couple, not to make

the photo twice as interesting, the first idea

was just to place the couple, it was

just to ask him or her, sorry, to

stand close to him, to turn his back,

to try to find a posing position, but

in one of those I remember that when

I told him, okay, and the one of

three, you go out there walking, I remember

that this is how he hooked her by

the hand and as he pushed her and

with the same energy she seemed to fly

away, not that gave me the idea, not

as in many times, not being many times

we start from an original idea and from

that idea thanks to the couple that maybe

interacts in a way the boy scratches his

chin the girl touches her hair a thousand

things that give us clues and that make

us say wow we are going to go

for it, so then when I directly when

I saw that so I had taken her

so I had pushed her and I already

told her good that you have just done

I want you to repeat it I want

you to repeat it over and over again

until we have so good they started playing

they started pulling each other, okay, we clearly

exposed the light in a precise way so

that everything will be as nailed as possible

and as you are seeing good in the

video there was not only a bow but

totally illuminated and that was lacking information with

which as you are seeing we obviate it

and we focus only on a bow and

what he was looking for is not that

of them I was lucky that I captured

this image and well for me I love

I even liked that the shoe is a

because she captures, for example, this image, I

captured another one and well, as we have
